you were having a nice dream when suddenly, your alarm clock woke you up.
you groaned, while reaching out to find where the alarm clock is and press the button to turn it off.
you got up from bed, and started stretching.
you then made your way to the kitchen to look for something to eat.
as a college student, you didn't have much in your pantry, so you just took out some bread & peanut butter along with some jelly to make a simple pb&j.
you decided to toast the bread because why not? and you also didn't want to have stale bread which was refrigerated.
when you finished making it, you ate it. what else were you gonna do with it? c'mon, ada anak di afrika yg kelaperan tuh, jgn boros makanan!!
then, you went to the bathroom to get ready. you thought of what to wear, however, before you could even decide, there was a message from the group from the secretary.
she said that class was cancelled because it was snowing pretty hard that day and the teacher and some other students reported to be unable to go to class.
you hadn't really noticed it, but the snow outside could reach up to your knees. wait, is that even possible?
well, class was cancelled, so you just changed into some comfortable clothes.
when you got outside, it was very chilly. you decided to just stay inside and keep yourself warm in your blankets.
you just sat on your bed and opened your phone. you saw a good morning text from your golden retriever boyfriend, luca.
you sent him a good morning text back, because how could you not?
right after, you heard a notification from him. he asked if he could come over.
you wanted to stop him because it was snowing pretty hard, but at the same time, you could really have someone to cuddle with you and warm you up.
however, you didn't get a chance to answer when you received a text from him that said “oops nvm I accidentally walked out the door and started walking to your house lol”.
you couldn't help but smile at your endearing boyfriend's personality! gosh, why is he so cute?
after a bit, you heard a knock at the door. when you opened it, you were met with the sight of your boyfriend, standing infront of your doorway.
he immediately went to hug you. it's been a bit since you guys met, because you two were in different classes as he was a year older than you.
“pog, I missed you!” luca says, hugging you tightly. you hugged him back, answering with a “I missed you too.”.
you invited him in, and he joyfully entered your house. you told him to make himself at home while you went to prepare snacks.
he said you didn't need to, but you just *had* to, because it's your boyfriend! you wouldn't let him stay at your house without any form of hospitality.
you came back with some snacks, ones that you could find, and some hot cocoa you both could drink to warm up.
luca thought of watching a movie while cuddling, and you couldn't say no to that, so of course, you agreed.
after thinking about what to watch, you finally agreed on one and started watching it while embracing the warmth of each other's body heat.
when the movie finished, you looked at luca. he looked at you back, smiling.
“how was the movie?” he asked, taking a sip on his hot cocoa, decorated with some cute small marshmallows.
“it was great, and interesting!” you answered, taking a biscuit and eating it.
“I'm glad.” he looks at you with a content smile.
you two spend the rest of the day just cuddling, enjoying each other's warmth.

Safe and sound
(Abner Krill x Reader)
Tumblr media
|AN|: I theoretically wasn't lying when I said it's gonna take two weeks. It did. I just hated it so much I rewrote it like dozen times. So, since I found out I can't write fluff (this was a struggle oops) I have two versions of this hopefully that'd make up for the long time waiting. I just have to edit the second one.
Request: hey are you still taking requests for abner krill/ polka-dot man? if so could you write something fluffy with the reader having healing powers?
for: @deuxmi-lune
Summary: No matter what happens, Abner knows he can always come home to his spouse. They can always take his pain away.
-------------------------------------------------------------
You shouldn't have been sleeping so soundly, not when he hadn't returned yet, but it was so late, such a peaceful night and he was going to be alright. He always was. It was something that he did – miraculously tunring out alright, alive, as if your prayers to nowhere had been protecting him from any damage.
It wasn't too long ago, since he had decided to be a hero, but ever since then he got hurt more often than before. More often than not. The band on your finger bound you to his unconditional support and love, yet everytime he limped towards you it felt more like a promise to help him destroy himself. What was a happy man, if he was dead?
It was hard to tell when you fell asleep, but you knew exactly when you woke up – a loud crashing sound came from the front door, jerking you awake. At first, your vision was blurry, the numbers on the alarm clock by your bed blending together into one smudge of red light, and when you rubbed your eyes, gaining some focus back into them, the time had just turned into 3:28am.
Only the worst came into your mind, you knew he was out unil the sun rose, until he knew nothing he could take care of lurked in the shadows and under the veil of night. Something must had gone wrong, having him back so soon.
Swiftly, you bolted out of the bed, barefoot running down the creaking wooden stairs towards the entrance, steadying yourself against the walls as you didn't bother to turn on the lights. He was home, and he wasn't alright. You felt it in your bones, whether it was some kind of sixth sense or just something that came with the gift you beared. You had to get to him, what if only seconds mattered?
"Abner," you breathed out, running to his aid when you saw him clutching his side in pain, blood seeping though his clothes and fingers. He was supporting himself against a wall, his skin pale glistening with sweat from all the effort and pain he seemed to be in. "What happened?"
As a response, he laughed nervously, wincing right after as the action sent a sharp pang through his body, and leaned his entire weight on you once you caught him. "Sorry for the rug," he mumbled quietly, gesturing towards the crimson stains of blood slowly drying off beneath his feet. That wouldn't be coming off. "We just bought it."
His legs were weak, one of his ankles presumably sprained or broken as he refused to put almost any weight on it when you lead him into your living room with one of his arms draped over your shoulders, gently helping him lie down on the couch. A sound of protest left his mouth, the blood already spilling all over the fluffy decorative blanket he excitedly bought a few months back when he saw it on sale. "Where have you been? Who did this?"
"I don't really know, it was dark." What would you even do if he gave you an answer? Hunted them down? Threatened them? Hurt them just as they hurt him? What an irony of life would that be, born a healer, made a killer.
"Just say here," you commanded your husband, and quickly ran to the kitchen, fumbling in one of the drawers as you were searching for some scissors, the stress making your hands shake and fingers almost numb, unable to grasp anything properly. When you came back to him, kneeling by his side on the floor, you quickly cut his shirt revealing a deep bleeding gash on his side.
A sharp gasp escaped your lips.
"They said it's just a scratch," Abner smiled nervously at your horrified face.
"God, you're so stupid sometimes," you muttered, eyes fixated on the wound – deep and wide, nothing like a bullet or any knife you knew could have done.
"Thats's why you're the smart one."
You placed your hand just a bit above the cut flesh, feeling the heat radiating from his hot blood, reaching out towards his body with your shaken mind. There was only one way of making it better, of saving him. You had to focus, but the more you reminded yourself to stay calm, the harder it was. The more intense the panick rising in your heart got.
Before your eyes was familiar sight. The one of cells slowly coming back together, merging into what they had once been. Sometimes it didn't work out, and the results of that were all over your husband's body. The crooked scars or pulling skin, yet he never seemed to complain or point it out. Other times it was perfect. The traces of anything that could have once been there, just smooth pale skin you knew so well. Nobody could tell. You prayed this was the case as well as it would be a nasty mark to bear.
"Have I ever told you, how beautiful you are like this?" Abner whispered, breaking your focus. At that, as your palm jerked above the wound, the skin knotted together clumsily as it tried to cover the gash, creating a dark prominent scar, agressive and yet another reminder of your failure.
"Fuck, I'm so sorry," you cursed and ran your fingers down the freshly healed spot. That was exactly what you didn't want.
"Hey, it's alright," he smiled at you, taking your hand it his. His palms were harsh and callous, yet comforting and warm as they held you. They always were. Hold as gentle as his soul, as genuine as his smile. "I don't mind the scars."
"You scared me tonight, much more than usual," you admitted quietly, gaze still fixated on the spot where not a few seconds ago a terrifying cut mocked you and the power you had carried.
"I'm sorry."
"I don't want you to be a hero." Abner squeezed your hand in reassurance, but it felt more like a plea. To not try and convince him to give up, to hold on just a little longer. "What if once I won't be able to heal you fast enough?"
"I'm not scared of that." His hand came up to your face, trailing just the tip of his index finger down your cheek, so gently it almost felt like nothing at all. "Here I'll always be safe."
"Safe and sound," you tried to return him smile, but it felt forced. There wasn't a mood for smiling just yet.
He shifted a bit on the couch, leaving enough space for you to squeeze right next to him. Abner laid his head on your chest, tightly hugging your middle like it was a safety line. "I promise to stay alive, until you come and get me."
"How about you stay out of the harm's way and not rely on me?" He just hummed in response and lifted his face from your chest, catching the worried look in your eyes.
"We wouldn't be a team then." From up-close, you could finally catch a proper glimpse of his face, the cuts and bruises you couldn't see at first in the weak light of your living room.
With a slow motion, you traced the injuries on his face with your thumb, the cuts disappearing and bruises fading in the wake of your touch. Magical, as Abner would so often describe it. Once you were done, he completely hid his face in your chest, pulling you closer even when it wasn't possible anymore, seeking the comfort you were and had always been the promise of.
"It's alright," you whisper into his hair, planting a quick kiss on the top of his head, one of your hands stroking calming circles into his back. "I've got you."
"And I've got you," he mumbled into the smooth fabric of your pyjamas. The warmth of his body on yours calmed you down, at least a bit, as you knew he was there, far from harm's way – in your arms.
"You still probably have a broken ankle."
"Later, I don't want you to let go." So, you didn't. Just held him tighter as he gradually fell asleep in your arms and you got a one last glance at a clock not too far away.
It was exactly 3.50 in the morning, when you two fell asleep, together at last, holding each other so tightly as if one or the other was to disappear.

How I met my Vampire (Part 4)
"Scotty? Scotty, are you even listening to me? Scotty!"
Startled, the Scotsman winced as McCoy's voice reached his ears.
"Hmm? What is it?"
He hadn't been listening, had been back in the church in his mind. He was thinking of Khan.
How was he going to convince the vampire that he had to leave? He'd talked big the night before, but he didn't really have a plan for how to scare Khan away. He didn't want to hurt him, after all.
"I asked if you'd been to the doctor yet?" McCoy repeated his question, and Scott shook his head.
"No, I told ye that wasn't necessary."
His co-trainee raised an eyebrow doubtfully.
"You look terrible, though. Have you looked at the bags under your eyes?"
Scotty sighed.
"I was just up late last night."
That was the truth. He had been thinking about the vampire the whole time. Whenever he had closed his eyes, there had been Khan's face.
His beautiful eyes, the handsome skin, the smile.
Scotty's heart sank into his stomach as he thought about it again. What was wrong with him?
"And bright red you are, too! You must have a fever. An infection from that beast of a bat."
At those words, a spark of anger ignited in Scotty's chest.
"Oi! It's not a beast! Just... a wee helpless animal."
Now Jim joined in as well.
"What, you've always said yourself that bats are annoying beasts."
Scotty immediately turned even redder.
"Well, I... I've been thinking about it some more. It's wrong to insult these animals. After all, God wants us to value all His living creatures, doesn't He?"
That was a plausible explanation, after all. And it was true. At least... for the most part. Maybe the fact that it was that bat had something to do with his reaction too. But... that played only a minor role.
"Well, if you say so," Jim replied with a shrug, but McCoy wasn't satisfied.
"God certainly didn't intend for these beings to approach us, though. We are, after all, His greatest creation."
"What are the bats supposed to do if we take away their habitat?!"
Before Scott could even think about it, the words were spoken.
Oh no... how was he going to explain this? He shouldn't know about the bat's reasons, after all.
"That bat just showed up on our church property. We didn't take anything from it," McCoy protested irritably.
"Well... someone has taken its home. And... maybe it's better if we give it sanctuary until it finds a new home."
"Well, if you want to clean up the mess it leaves behind every time, have fun," Jim agreed.
Scotty rolled his eyes. When had his friends become so annoying?
~
The church clock bell struck exactly 10 o'clock as Scott entered the building that night.
He simply had to talk to Khan again. If the church congregation was already so hostile to a bat, what would it be like with a vampire?
"H-hello?"
Why was his voice shaking? He was usually brave, showing no fear.
"Khan?"
Scotty, who had come through the back entrance, slipped into the sanctuary and looked around searchingly.
The vampire was nowhere to be discovered. The offerings were untouched.
"A-are ye there?"
Scotty was about to step up the pulpit when he heard a flutter behind him.
"Boo!"
Scotty couldn't help a yelp as the vampire startled him.
"Oi!"
Khan just laughed.
"Tidbit, what a pleasant surprise. How's it going?"
Scotty was about to answer something when his eyes fell on the blood at the corner of Khan's mouth.
His eyes widened.
"Y-ye have..."
The vampire seemed to notice it too and wiped his hand along his mouth.
"Oops, I guess I was a little too wild with the drinking."
Khan licked the blood off his thumb and Scotty felt his legs begin to shake.
Khan... had drunk someone's blood. The blood of a human being!

We Met Within This Screen (final chapter, pt. 2, the end.)
part one here
A/N: Thank you guys for all of your wonderful comments and the love sent my way for this fanfic. I've had a great time writing it despite its rocky moments. I really hope this ending does it justice; I've never gotten to write a proper conclusion to anything like this before. It's the first time I've ever completed a multi-chapter work such as this, so I'm happy. 🍾🥂 Here's to finishing what you start, and enjoy. :)
Tumblr media
Just shy of a half-hour later, he was finished telling the story. She had sat the both of them down on the couch, one on each end, and he explained in great detail everything leading up to current-day. Tales of the ooze, Mutagen, as he'd told her; the rat named Splinter, a man formerly known as Hamato Yoshi, who had fathered and trained them; and lastly, their mission. Be of service, protect the city; have a good heart. And Donnie most certainly had a good heart. He was not the outlandish figure she'd first saw and recognized him as. He was the guy she had come to know as Bo, Donatello, who was the same person she'd talked to this whole time. At some points of the retelling, he got excited to share some of their adventures. This came after their humble beginnings of struggling in the sewers. Donnie was happy to share after so long of dodging saying anything about his life.
She nodded along to this talking. "...and that's how we're here," he said finally, putting his hands on his legs. "Since we're here, any questions?"
She replied with a no, looking over at the TV that had remained on the entire time. Donnie stayed seated as she got up and got the remote, also glancing at the clock on the wall, which read 10:45 PM. She switched the TV off. Looks like it's time to go, he thought. He rose from the couch and fixed the pillow he'd displaced.
"Donnie, this has been...strange," and for a split second, his face fell, "but not bad! Though, it is getting late."
 "Oh, no—yeah, no, I understand," he sputtered bashfully, activating the staff which collapsed back into its smaller form. He tucked it away somewhere on him.
For a moment, he simply stood there as if wanting to say something, but the words never found him. "So it's goodbye?" he asked quietly. The way he said it made it seem like he thought it was forever. But it was on until they figured out how to pick up where they left off after that night. Undoubtedly, things would be different going forward. He didn't know if that would be good or bad.
"Only until next time," she told him, a small smile present. He visibly relaxed. "You're still my friend, Donatello."
He smiled. "I knew that. Totally."
Showing himself out, he stepped onto the balcony, looking back one last time before he bounded away. He held up his hand and gave a small wave.
But she hadn't said bye yet, so he stuck around for a moment longer, though it was met with an awkward silence. He was beginning to go over the railing when she ran over to the door, stopping him. "Wait," she said, and he crawled back over the railing with a confused but curious expression. "I actually do have a question. Just one, before you go."
"Sure," he said, inviting her to go on. She had to look up to see his face being so close.
Tenderly, she asked, "Why'd you not tell me, after all that time? Would you have ever chosen to do this if it hadn't been for an accident?"
Donnie couldn't give her an answer on that.
He sighed, slightly shaking his head. "I couldn't, [y/n]. We've been through this."
"I only wanted you to trust me, Donnie," she responded. And that was, really, how she'd felt. Throughout their entire friendship, it had felt one-sided in that regard. Trusting but not trusted, but she hadn't any idea of what was truly going on, at the time.
Donnie pondered her question: If there hadn't been some kind of divine intervention, would he have ever had the chance to have something more with her than words on a screen?
He swallowed as she took a small step closer.
"I just wanted you to care about me." His volume was barely above a whisper. He clenched his jaw briefly, as if he was concerned over his own words. His golden-brown eyes wandered from your eyes on downward.
"I did—I do care about you, what makes you say that?" she questioned, puzzled.
He vaguely gestured at his body, "Wouldn't this be a little hard grasp over text? Isn't it hard to accept even now?"
Though she didn't answer, he had a feeling that he was correct about one of those things—she did have to wrap her head around everything. Tentatively, both watched as her fingers brushed against his own. His hand moved along with hers, seeing and feeling the delicateness. Until they laced together as well as they could, her heart steady while his was beginning to race. His hand even trembled ever so slightly. He would have wanted to stay like that forever, had it not been for the fact that he was uncertain where they now stood. Where he stood in your eyes. What did this mean?
Putting her other hand on his shoulder, she tried to conjure a smile. But it flickered out as she murmured, leaning into him, "Does this answer your question?" She had to stand on the tips of her toes, while his hand tightened in hers involuntarily, almost too shocked to bend down for what was coming. The one thing he hadn't accounted for in their meeting, not once—and it was happening.
He seemed like he was going to stammer something, but her lips closed the gap and planted softly on his.
There is no way.
There is no way this is happening—but I'm seeing it with my own eyes!
Donnie lost all control the moment her lips pressed against his. His hand squeezed hers, shaking as his heart pounded in his chest. I'm shaking. Why am I shaking?
His eyes which had been wide were now fluttering closed. For the better half of the kiss, every other thought beside the ones of her was ejected. He couldn't have pulled away, even if he'd wanted. He was hers completely. That was irrevocable.
It was only until she decided it was time to step back did they part, him looking at her entrancing face once more, and her swallowing heavily. That kiss had been something she'd dreamed of before. Never Knowing it would be held on the smooth, moist lips of a humanoid turtle, rather than those or a human man. In fact, she had to convince herself that she wasn't dreaming. Her hand slid down his shoulder and onto his chestplate. It was rough, almost possessing a grain under her fingertips. Her thumb rubbed the back of his hand. He thought he felt a tingle from the trail her fingers left.
Donnie was on Cloud Nine for a solid minute before coming back to his senses. "That...I…" he struggled to find the words. For a brain that worked so fast, he felt utterly slow, then.
She cracked a smile, face contorted into one of hope and a hint of embarrassment. "Is it too late to say that I've waited to do that for a while now?" she laughed.
"N-no," he said, still trying to organize his thoughts. "No, it isn't."
"Okay, good," she replied with a relieved exhale.
Her hand went from his chest to his arm, feeling the taut muscle as it traveled down. His hand enveloped hers while the other lifted, going to touch her cheek. "Does this mean…?" he trailed off.
"It means I really, really like you, Donnie. I have since we played that game."
He gently brushed her cheek with his thumb, "I really like you, too," he mimicked, voice soft.
Maybe even that was an understatement.
"I think I…"
A noise nearby alerted him, and on instinct, he set her behind himself on defense. Don't be an attack now, of all times, he thought, listening closely. He told her to be quiet and to not say anything, using his forearm to gently push her back into the apartment. He pulled out his staff.
"Sup dude and dudette!" an all too familiar voice beamed, the orange-banded turtle appearing hanging upside down from the balcony above. [Y/N] shrieked, and Donnie nearly bashed his brother in the head, sucking in a sharp breath as he accidentally backpedaled into her. Mikey waved and flashed a grin. "Don't worry, we didn't see anything...except for you two kissing, that was really unexpected!" He flipped down onto the balcony, and Donnie grumbled something, going in for a zap to his brother's plastron. Mikey dodged it, this time. Donnie tried again; unsuccessful. "Oop—saw that one coming," Mikey laughed, jovial.
Donnie groaned, half-embarrassed and half-annoyed, "Mikey, what are you doing here?"
Waltzing into her apartment, Mikey crossed his arms with a wink sent the human's way. "Michelangelo, wingman to the big special D right here," he introduced himself brightly, "but you can call me Mikey."
Donnie slapped his hand to his flushed face, hoping that he was the only one who noticed Mikey's less-than-classy wording.
"So you're all named after Renaissance painters?" asked [y/n], lifting a brow.
Exhaling, Donnie stepped between them, "[Y/N], this is Mikey, my brother. The one that—"
"Got you together!"
"—that got us into this predicament," he'd almost said, but he realized as Mikey said that, he owed their meeting all to him. It had all started with that talk they had had late that day, after patrol, and ended on her balcony, Donnie getting to experience a kiss for the first time. With someone he'd never imagined he would have ever been able to touch, let alone share something like that with. Yes, as much of a hassle everything up until that point had been, it was all thanks to Mikey.
Donnie grinned, turning to his brother and draping his arm over the back of his shoulders. "Yeah, you did," he agreed. Mikey smiled as he looked down at him with fondness. He wrapped an arm around Donnie's shell in return.
"You know it, brah. Oh, and I take cash or pi—"
"Don't push it, younger bro." Donnie rolled his eyes.
Waiiiiit a minute.
Mumbling for [y/n] to hold that thought, Donnie, suspicious, crept over toward the balcony. "We"?
Mikey tried to make chatter with her while he did so, mentioning how he liked what she'd done with the place.
He checked if the coast was clear first before leaning onto the railing on his shell, squinting his eyes. And he was not surprised at all to see Raph and Leo looking down at him from over the edge of the roof. Leo had his recognizable expression of: "You'd better wrap it up." Donnie drooped his shoulders and ducked back inside. Couldn't last forever, he thought. Despite whatever was waiting for him on the roof or at home, he could still smile on the day he'd had. He would be thinking about that kiss for weeks.
"I guess it's bye for real this time," he told [y/n], sad to go what felt like so soon, but really was content. The night could not have gone better. "I have to, you know, go get flamed by my oldest brother. Probably."
"We'll be in touch, Donnie," she replied. "Um...text me when you get home? Just so I know you got there alright."
Smiling, Donnie nodded.
Mikey budded in, "Hey, don't forget about me here."
Chuckling, Donnie headed for the door, taking Mikey but the upper arm along with him. They stopped one last time to waved to her before making their exit.
Leo and Raph met the pair at the top. Raph was the first to speak, asking skeptically, "And yer sure this girl is alright?"
"Positive," Donnie answered with confidence.
After a moment of trying to come up with some kind of remark, Raph let out a huff. "You got the nerve, I'll tell you that." He held out his fist ready for a bump, and when Donnie didn't immediately reciprocate, grumbled "Well? Don't leave me hangin', Don." Realizing what he wanted, Donnie went right in for the fist bump.
Pulling away, Donnie asked, "So you're not mad?" He gave some space between himself and the incoming Leo.
Raph scoffed lightly and shrugged. "I may not trust her, but I trust you," he responded, gruff as usual. "Just don't expect me to be all friendly and whatnot—I ain't doin' it."
"You don't have to do anything, Raph."
And then Donnie was face-to-face with Leo, who's intensely blue eyes were trained on him for a few seconds too long. Donnie wondered what he was thinking until he sighed, and then spoke.
"I'm sorry."
Behind Leo, Mikey was in awe.
"That's a new one," Raph chuffed. He left the circle to watch from the edge of the building. Mikey stuck around, but only far enough to be in ear shot. If something coming from Leo started off with a sincere "I'm sorry", he wouldn't miss it.
"Yes, you heard. I'm sorry," Leo admitted, bringing his eyes up from the ground. "I shouldn't have pressured you, Donnie. I know that you can handle yourself. I was just trying to protect you and our family," he explained, pausing to glance over at the other two brothers, "but…yeah. I'm sorry for pushing you, Don. I was kind of a jerk back there."
Deciding he didn't have any words good enough to say what he wanted to, Donnie simply pulled Leo in for half-hug, rocking him with him. Leo wore his lopsided smile as he gave Donnie's shell a slap.
"That...was…"
They stepped away from each other, staring at Mikey quizzically.
"...beautiful, bros," he finished in a whisper.
They stayed for a minute just watching the city go by, the clock ticking by later into the night. Donnie finally thought to ask Leo how Splinter was, because he definitely knew what was going down. He was a smart old man—and beside, Donnie had made no effort to pretend that wasn't what he was doing when he'd initially left. If Splinter knew, Splinter knew. He was still mildly afraid of Leo's response.
"You want the truth?" Leo questioned, his expression briefly changing to one of a cringe.
"I mean, I'd like to know what I'm in for," Donnie replied in an obvious manner.
"He was angry, at first. Didn't know you left until he was done with his talk with Mikey. Also surprised that you actually went through with it. But, after that...he seemed like he understood, in a way, I guess. I didn't ask questions. You'll have to confront him about it yourself, because he just sent me and Raph out to get you."
Donnie kept his eyes on the sidewalk below them, and the occasional person walking it. "And Mikey?" he asked, quizzical.
"He insisted," Leo groaned.
"You know I can't pass up an opportunity to see D get his first kiss!"
"Oh, shut up, you had no idea that was gonna happen. You just wanted to go because me 'n Leo were goin'," Raph argued, flicking his head. "Weren't you supposed to stay in by Splinter's orders?"
Mikey crossed his arms and turned away, "I don't have to take this abuse." He was, indeed, meant to stay behind. But the boy couldn't help himself.
Once the banter died down, they were left contemplating whether they wanted to stay out a little longer, or if it was time to turn in. It had already been a long night, but in honesty, Donnie wasn't ready to go quite yet. He still felt as though he had so much to say to [y/n], but he supposed that time had already passed. At least until next time, if or when that was. Raph took a break from his lookout and sat next to Donnie with a grunt. He wasn't good with mush or sensitive things, but he felt compelled to ask "What're you gonna do now?"
Donnie hummed in question.
"Well, she knows. And by the looks of things—erm—the look of one particular thing, you two are still goin' steady."
Ugh, they saw it. Donnie moaned, a cold flush coming over his face. I can't have anything private in this family.
Raph pushed him on his shoulder. "Ya shouldn't mack on someone by the doorway if ya don't wanna be seen," he jested.
"I don't know what's next, Raph," Donnie confessed. "We didn't exactly...make anything official after that."
Once they were back on the move towards home, they all dropped into the nearest manhole, but Donnie remained where he was, saying he would catch up to them. He was the fastest of the four, after all.
"I hope you're still awake," he mumbled to himself as he reached for his phone. They were close to home, anyway. And it was quiet. He typed:
"I'm almost home, [y/n]. All safe."
A couple of minutes later, she responded.
"Okay, that's good
Your brother is quite the character, by the way"
"He is who he is, lol"
"He seems nice though."
Walking down along the sewers, he took his time. What was a little longer after the night he'd had?
"Donnie, what were you going to say when Michelangelo interrupted us?"
He stopped in his tracks and thought, having nearly forgotten that he was going to actually say it. He didn't just like her—for the first time, he was sure he loved her.
"That I think I love you, [y/n]."
He regretted not saying it when he was with her, but he just couldn't wait.
There was a worrisome pause on her end in which he imagined she was staring at her screen thinking about how strong that came off, that it was uncalled for, that he was going too fast—
"I said I liked you
But that was not quite the truth
I love you, Donnie."
Golden-brown eyes sparkling, he let out a laugh, unable to contain his happiness, and the rest of the brothers smiled to themselves hearing the whoop of joy and excitement echo in the tunnel.
His adventure in love and friendship had started within a screen, but he was bound to it no longer. This was the opening of a new chapter in his life.

This is my first attempt at writing and I really hope you guys can at least read it. I wanna dedicate it to my biatch who basically got me into the game and helped me @lckicdinscn ❤
Warnings: harassment and cussing I guess
~~~~
"Fuck!" You cussed at yourself for hitting your toe on the door and started jumping up and down while looking for your missing shoe. Where is it? It has to be somewh- Ha! There you are! You found it under your bed which was probably laying there because your dog had slept with it.
After getting your shoe back you felt another presence in your room. You felt like you were being watched. Like two eyes were glued to you and watched every single one of your moves. You turned around only to be greeted by your black haired dog standing in front of it, watching you and waiting excitingly for you to pet him.
"Darky I swear, if you sleep on my shoe ever again I will-" you pointed your shoe at him but you weren't able to finish your sentence. Darky had managed to take you down and was already all over you giving you kisses while swinging his tail happily.
"Okay okay, I'm sorry I didn't mean that, yes yes I love you too, yes you're such a good boy yes" you petted your dog and got used to his sudden show of affection. After your dog was done with you he went downstairs looking for his next victim. You got up and shook the dust off of you and looked at the clock.
"Shit I'm gonna miss the bus!" You said and immediately put on your shoe, grabbed your bag and ran downstairs. You went to the kitchen and got yourself a nice red apple and sprinted outside to catch the school bus which you thankfully didn't miss.
You hopped on in, plugged in your earphones and took your sit next to a kid you kinda had seen around but couldn't remember his name. You both greeted each other..ish. I mean nodding your head is not rude right? Right.. You took your phone out to check on your best friend who was probably vomiting all over her house at that moment.
The ride to school was okay. Given that the destination was the same as every day, Hell, how great could it be?
As soon as the bus stopped you got off of it and started walking peacefully towards your school gate while minding your own business.
"Hey baby whatcha doing?" You heard a cocky voice shouting from a distance and you knew that it was addressing to you. So you simply turned around to answer.
"Oh you know the usual. Walking away from your bullshit" you blankly said and continued walking indifferent to the inside of your school where you headed for your locker. You opened it and placed some of your textbooks in it but when you closed it, a not-much-of-a-surpise was expecting you.
"I asked you something" the guy insisted and came closer.
"And what do you want, Jason? A medallion for creating a sentence?" You scoffed but immediately regretted it cause now the guy was standing way too close to you and you had to smell his breath. Perfect. Just what I need at 8 am in the morning.
"You're feisty aren't ya? I like it" He said right before grabbing your ass and squeezing it. So you smirked did the same. Only it was much more of a slap. And not a sexy one. Oh, and it was on the face.
"Oops, I'm so sorry. Wrong cheek I guess" you said innocently and felt Jason coming even closer to you. How is his even possible?
"Listen here you stupid bitch. You think you can just walk around, do those things and talk to me like that? Oh you're gonna pay for this" Jason said and just when you were about to answer him, with your eyebrow raised, some guy decided to join you.
"Oh how is she gonna do that?" A voice was heard and both of you and Jason turned to face a boy who had just dramaticly gasped.
"Are you going to show her your...dick?! Oh my god that's such a punishment I must admit it she's going to vomit all over or even die laughing, you're such a geni-" but he couldn't finish his sentence cause Jason had already grabbed him by the shirt and out him in a corner.
"What do you want, Parker?" Jason hissed.
"Hey hey hey listen man. I'm just saying, stop trying to show off your dick, it doesn't get bigger each time you take it out" Parker said and Jason was ready to introduce him to his fist but instead he met the ground.
"Ah damnit if only I hadn't kicked you in the nuts. It would have been such a great meeting!" You frowned but felt someone grabbing your ear and then releasing it.
"Ow! Who the f-"
"Ahem!"
"M-miss Pierce h-hi.." You widened your eyes and lowered your head in the presence of your teacher standing right in front of you.
Fuck
"Principal's office. Now."
"But he started it!" You protested.
"I don't care who started it. You made a kid get on the ground, Y/N. As I said. Now" your teacher said and all three of you headed to the headmaster's office.
Fifteen minutes later and the principal came in.
"Now what do we have here? Jason Newman, great to see you, again. Y/N?" Your principal asked confused. "And Peter why on earth are you here? No, you know what, nevermind. I want to know what happened. Let's start with Jason. What do you have to say?" Your principal adjusted to his chair and placed his crossed fingers on his office.
"Mister Brown, Y/N slapped me!" Jason almost shouted like a little spoiled kid.
"You were asking for it!" You raised your eyebrows and pointed your finger at him.
"Y/N, tone it down. Let him speak" your principal tried to calm you down.
"Not when he's saying half the truth.." Peter mumbled and crossed his arms.
"What was that, Parker?" Mister Brown turned his head to face Peter.
"Y/N, was just defending herself. He basically grabbed her bottom and talked to her like she was nothing" Peter claimed and you noticed he was sitting clearly in a different position. His hands were not crossed anymore and he moved them around while explaining.
"I see. Y/N?" Your principal turned to you waiting for your answer.
"Are you really going to believe them, Sir?" Jason protested. That pile of shit.
"Why shouldn't I?" The principal narrowed his eyes at Jason not sure if he should expect a mature answer or a cheap excuse.
"Cause she's lying obviously!" Jason threw his hands in the air like what he said was just so self-explanatory.
"Oh, don't you dare speak, Newman! You know damn well what you said and did! You hit on me every single day, making me and countless other girls feel like objects and the one time that I actually do something about it, you come in here playing the victim because your cheek got a little red. Grow up and learn some fucking manners, will ya?" You found yourself standing in front of Jason and confronting him with your eyes widened and your fist tightened.
The principal was shocked by your reaction and so was everybody else in the room, even you.
"I was going to let this incident slide and just give Jason detention, but after this sudden show of tantrum, I'm afraid I will have to call your father" Mister Brown said while grabbing the acoustic of the telephone.
"But-"
"Not a word, Miss Stark. Now if you don't mind stepping outside for a few minutes. I'll have to make a call." And just like that you were outside the principals office waiting for your doom.
Wait a minute.. Miss Stark? And suddenly, Peter's eyes widened.
Jimmy: you coming to find me then? left you a blood trail and everything Jimmy: 💕 Janis: Who could resist such a sexy offer? Janis: I've got to get out of this lesson first Janis: Time me Jimmy: ⏲ Jimmy: go Janis: *Should have asked where he was, but it was too late for that now and thus, just another part of the game. She wasn't losing by default of asking, thanks. Logically, wasn't going to make her go anywhere near the Head or the classrooms...So that left the smoking hole, already waiting outside the gates or...the bogs? Best place to check first before venturing out. There was the lot in the Science block, the ones in the Humanities and the ones upstairs. If only she was as obsessed as she felt on her bad days to have his schedule memorized so she could pick the most likely of the lot. As it was, she just made it to the closest, like she had a place to be. First lot was a bust, just someone having a sneaky shit and keeping dead silent in reply to her 'Jim?', oops, soz mate. Exiting sharpish, Janis jogged down the corridor to the next, seeing him as soon as she entered, checking himself out in the mirrors; She smirks, walking over to the sinks and seating herself down on one to face him. She grabs his hands (gently) to assess the damage (not too bad, thank God), cocking a brow.* How'd I do? Jimmy: *Once the app's pressed, his phone's away and he's focused on his own (self imposed) race against time. The clean up. The sooner this bollocks was done the faster they could get out of here and onto the next. Whenever and whatever that is. Jimmy didn't try and guess, how things have been panning out lately like. He knows, without glancing down at his hand that it looks worse than it is, and easy to sort. No chance of calling what's happening with him and this girl anything close. Jimmy shrugs, to get it out of his system, he tells himself, 'cause no more of that shit. Not for a bit, after before. Then shakes his head, uninjured hand running through his hair. The briefest flash of a smile that there's no shame in. He's just glad she's willing to show up again and 'cause she is, he won't let himself keep slipping. Try hard move, but how he feels. There's more of the same when he hears someone come in, realizing it's her, and moves closer, hands still connected until he's standing between where her legs dangle off porcelain. It's a position to tease if he wants, and probably he will, keeping that familiar tone going for as long as they'll both allow, but first he answers her question, pulling his phone out with his own raised eyebrows poised. * 6 flat. Not bad, mate. * He breathes it out, counting himself, up to the moment when he kisses her. Fast enough to shut her up before she can make any claims to victory, yeah, but mostly he just wants to. Slowly. Needs to. She's earned it by being here. Or he's owed it for getting too far in the line of fire. It doesn't matter. Not yet.* Janis: *Janis inhales sharply as he moves closer, holding the breath in tight as so to hold him in place too. Stay. It's not just a matter of closeness though, is the problem. With a Family like hers, you were used to touchy-feely, (back in the day, when she still allowed it from any of 'em, like), but this was about the places he was able to get close...Where no one else ever had. And she wasn't just being literal, all relevant body parts ignited by his touch, it was the other shit too, head space and fucking...soul space, occupying space and time in her life she'd given to no one before him. It was terrifying, 'course, it was also fucking exhilarating. Why else would she? Up for the challenge, yeah? In this moment, here and now, absofuckinglutely. Try and stop me. Doubts and dread could be saved for later, when he was gone again. Something about him demanded her full attention, and she didn't hate the distraction of it, of him, AT ALL. She laced her legs 'round his back using them to pull him closer still. But she won't be the one to start it. She still can't. Not got the bottle to be sure he wants it too. Tragic, as her twin would say. Sure she'd feel more tragic if he pulled back, though.* New record, I reckon... *Barely focused on her own words as she murmurs them into his ear, thin fingers running through his dark hair, messing up what she had caught him fixing.* I like you better like this. Jimmy: *He meets her first unspoken challenge immediately, his easiest yet. Pushing as she pulls, but not away, both of them in a rhythm that only hurts a bit, from his hand, safe to ignore (like he gives a shit right now if it was about to fall off). No other alarm bells, thank fuck, 'cause that's sorted. Done. Jimmy grins into her skin as her softly spoken words tickle his, eyebrows raising themselves to let her know he's unconvinced, that what he 'reckons' is that he could beat it. (If it means getting to her.) Another bet he's ready to place if it's ever laid down. *You do, do you?* His tone has a smirk in it, seconds before it reaches his face, changing the smile as he moves effortlessly, no need to stretch as his own fingers retrace the path of hers, on her, until the ponytail she had in is loosened and the curls falling free. *Touche* Janis: *She laughs softly, this lowering the risk of omitting any other noise, more incriminating AND more shaming, so she reckoned. Bemused face to match, challenging him to 'be careful!' and praying he'll ignore her, breaking School property or falling on her arse be damned, frankly. Janis tuts the kind of 'oh, please! tut of someone not at all interested in having him leave even just so to come back as fast as possible. No more running. Not today. She tightens her grip on him to say as much, tugging playfully at his hair as he messes with hers.* Oi! *She allows it though, enjoying the relief of letting out the too-tight hairband, literal letting down of the hair how cliche they were...Who cares? Not her. She plays otherwise though, pouting like a stroppy kid and blowing a wayward curl out of her eyes.* Look what a mess you've made, boy... *She smiles, bending her head down, curls falling and exposing the nape of her neck, to 'kiss it better'. Light kisses trailing the slip of his knife, even though it was still a bit bloody, she liked the metallic taste of it and pale red stain he left on her lips. She looks up, bigger smile still. God, she wanted him so bad.* Jimmy: *Damn. There's things running through his mind that he could do to 'get her back for this' or 'raise the stakes' and about as many that he shouldn't, like how simple it'd be to 'clean up' again by letting the tap run and flicking as much water as he can whilst not letting go of her a millimeter. That thought could fuck right off. Stupid risk. He doesn't want either of them to cool off and it's too late for that seconds after. So he thinks then, much as he can form any coherent thoughts with THAT happening. A shuddering breath slips out (that she'll no doubt call a moan to ensure her victory when her mind's back on that) covering the sound of the bathroom door opening. Until there's an explosion of noise. Shit. Still existing purely on reactions, empty headed and dizzy, he lifts her off the sink, pulling her protectively against his side in the same movement. His body won't do anything else that it's supposed to, chest too tight and airless to get any words out, defense or attack. Just as well when he finally realises who it is. Fucking hell. All the same, the urge is there to run, persistent and he shoots her a look, daring her to listen to his idea instead of the teacher's rant. This challenge is probably one too far, but anything from Janis and he'll get it done, making sure they both get out.* Janis: *Another cliche, everything happening so fast that it feels like you're running (crawling more like) on slow-mo. Its like they're so fucking close to closing the last of the space but in the seeming eternity between this desperately needed contact finally happening, someone has managed to barge in and spoil everything before Janis had chance to blink. If it had been another kid, (depending on who, of course), she probably could have told them to piss off and then they could continue but that 'someone' being a teacher did somewhat bring her back down into harsh reality with a dull thud. That, and Jimmy lifting her off the sink with lightning speed reaction. Nice. She hid her appreciative smirk, vowing to show him just how appreciative she was when they were alone again. However, she still managed to catch his eye, and catch on to what he was silently saying as teach got louder and louder, realising they weren't listening to him. It was now or never. Realization jolting her back into the here and now, she took his (good) hand (much to the horror of Mr. Lucas when he clocked it, too little too late) and squeezed it tight to say 'Leg it!' And she did just that, pulling Jim with, exit in sight.*
