love the clangen clan i made last night. i say clan but with the lore i came up with for them they're just a bunch of loners in a group together who were former kittypets/rogues or loners who decided to join/that kinda stuff. using a mod (kind of mod???) someone in the discord made that just gives the cats rogue/loner/kittypet names.

i love all the kitties i started with and the lore i made for them my favorites are probably buddy (she's a daylight warrior p much and also one of the medics. and the only medic as of the last moon, rip alder- she likes rambling about twoleg stuff :3), ripple and shep (bonded pair of former kittypets who were abandoned by their twolegs 😔 seemingly. no one's sure they were babies so-), mitzi and snowbell (their lore's not super exciting but they be lesbians and i love them. also mitzi kept killing ripple i literally had to lower her hate for him in the game files because otherwise she'd just kill him no matter how many times i reset-). here's the forum post for them for anyone who's in the discord server, i love these silly kitties v much. :3

I was feeling bad for the birds I keep attracting to my bird feeders. We have the two trees, but for the most part, the yard is a big open deathtrap for these birds. There are no bushes to provide housing or cover when the neighbors cats are on the prowl. So, I went to my local arbor society tree sale and picked up some plants that will be some nice looking bushes in my yard some day (some Japanese purple smoke bushes, ornamental cedar, a snowbell... Stuff like that)

Well, they also had some seedlings for much larger trees for sale. MUCH larger trees.

They were like a buck each so, on a whim, I picked up a redwood and 6 coast sequoia.

I never really liked this town. I mean, it's fine and all. But wasn't my first choice. Idk if I will be here for the rest of my life. But hot damn it would be funny to come back here when I am 90 and see my giant ass trees looming over my old house

Even if only one of them makes it, it will still be funny to me

Stray cats are pretty common in the country (I know one personally) so assume they're common in Melbourne (where my AuAU is set) so the boys would probably end up adopting AT LEAST one.

In my magic!AU Mikey adopted icecream and her single surviving son clunk, and they are based on icecream kitty from 2012 and clunk from 2003.

But in my AuAU I think I'd just put my own cat in there (I had a cat very briefly but she was my whole world and I miss her violently every day (she's still alive I think, just moved back to her birth home))

Her name was snowball but I would call her Snowbell because her name was almost cowbell and Snowbell sounds cooler. She was a black bicolour, about 50% white. Probably a moggie (hahaha like me) and she's shorthair. I'll draw her later.

Donnie would know the most about cats, and he hates dogs. Total cat person. His favourite breed would be Sphynx and common mixed-breed moggies. Snowbell is allowed into his lab at all times.

Additionally- fun fact Scottish folds are illegal to breed in Victoria. Donnie hates most cat breeds because often they are mistreated and inbreeding involved leads to health problems and such. (He doesn't hate the actual cats ofc just the people that breed them)

Leo is neutral about cats, doesn't know anything about them but thinks they're cute af. Also likes other animals. If he could have any pet he would want a pigeon. Also thinks that "tabby" is a cat breed. Snowbell gets recorded a lot by him and he's done that blanket trick,,

Raph loves cats sm, he likes most animals but cats just have his whole heart. Snowbell scratches him often after he's pet her a bit too much.

Mikey loves cats, trans-dimensional constants demands it. He also loves other animals like Raph, but he found Snowbell as a kitten and eventually convinced Splinter to let him keep her. Snowbell spends the most time with Mikey, and Mikey is in charge of feeding her.

Also April is Snowbell's 'legal guardian' (she got her microchipped and took her to get her shots and neutered/fixed whatever)

Young chengxian, growing up as close neighbours and attending the same schools, promise to be each others backup plans.

It's an innocent, protective promise made by 6 year old Jiang Cheng, to 6 year old Wei Wuxian, who was 'broken up with' by his playground girlfriend that day. They pinkie promise.

Wei Wuxian teases Jiang Cheng about it now and again as they grow up, but that stops eventually and it's more or less forgotten between them. At least he thinks thats the case for Wei Wuxian. Jiang Cheng is stupid enough to develop an intense crush on Wei Wuxian in their later teenage years, but Wei Wuxian is popular, has plenty of dates and relationships, and Jiang Cheng knows its pointless.

They go away to university, not together, but they do stay in touch; they're best friends after all.

Jiang Cheng does date and occasionally have longer term relationships, but they're few and far between, and usually over when the other person realises there's someone else in Jiang Cheng's heart and they'll never be the most important person to him.

The years pass, they both graduate, move back to their home city, and begin adulting. In their mid twenties, after a breakup, Wei Wuxian tries to get Jiang Cheng to agree to move in together, he even jokingly refers to their promise to marry each other at 30.

Jiang Cheng knows Wei Wuxian is teasing about that though, and moving in with him would be a step too far and hurtful for him, as he is still hung up on Wei Wuxian, so he declines, joking that they still have a few years to go before they're 30 and have to settle down together, to hide the hurt.

Wei Wuxian pushes it periodically in the following years. And after this Wei Wuxian dates much less, and never seems to romance the same person for very long. And he becomes increasingly interested in Jiang Cheng's, admittedly infrequent, romantic doings.

In fact, it becomes downright invasive. He demands to meet them, and when Jiang Cheng brings them along to group social events he always seems to show Jiang Cheng in the worst possible light, or there was that time he showed up at the same restaurant at the same time as Jiang Cheng was wining and dining a potential partner, and THEN SAT DOWN WITH THEM, despite Jiang Cheng nearly disclocating his eyeballs trying to signal Wei Wuxian to fuck off.

Or there was the time he panic called Jiang Cheng, currently out on a date, about his cat throwing up, almost crying down the phone so Jiang Cheng had no option but to abandon his date and rush home, only to find out it was literally just a hairball Snowbell had coughed up.

"YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING! AND WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING IN MY APARTMENT ANYWAY WEI WUXIAN?"

Jiang Cheng has had enough and demands to know why Wei Wuxian seems determined to see him die alone and lonely.

"You won't, Jiang Cheng!! We'll be 30 in a few months, after all!!"

Winnie is amazing dog, who loves to jump and chase. Who is always happy to see you. Just loves everybody she meets.

Winnie also was there for me when I lost my cat of 21 years, Snowbell. I'd come over everyday. She would sit with me, so I wasn't alone. She would let me cry into her fur. Waited patiently until I was ready to play fetch with her again.

Now she needs surgery. I am asking everyone to help by donating or at least sharing the post.

Winnie deserves so much more.

hey! so I had a request I was hoping you could fulfill when you had time - just a little something I've been brainstorming up.

So basically there's this couple in NYC who are looking to adopt a younger brother for their son but when they go to the orphanage they decide to adopt this random ass mouse named let's say Stuart. Now, some would say what??? That's crazy. But this family is no ordinary family as you can see!! Now, Stuart is a fine guy, but he does struggle to fit in with the family on the account that he's a mouse.

His older brother doesn't like him and they don't get along and don't even get me started on snowbell the family cat. Now Stuart gets into all sorts of shenanigans - gets trapped in a washing machine (thank heavens nothing bad happens besides him falling ill with a case of the suds) but he goes to a doctor for mice and is fine!!!!

I'm thinking lots of angst and possibly hurt/comfort since Stuart is depressed af and wants to meet his birth parents but the orphanage is like "we cant do that due to confidentiality reasons".

Stuart starts to bond with the family over a model boat for an upcoming sailboat race but uh oh trouble is brewing as family cat and beloved pet snowbell and his alleycat friends have a meeting about what to do about stuart. (cats don't like mice, be sure to hammer that home)

So fucking stuart, on the day of the sailboat race, no less, breaks the fucking remote control and renders the boat inoperable and has to jump in and steer it himself. which honestly feels against the rules and there's probably some upset families idk if you want to write about that (up to you). but yeah he wins. and the family celebrates but then not all is well because two mice show up claiming to be stuarts' biological parents and take him away after giving zero proof of this. fuck! guess you can get away with anything these days!!

anyway, the orphanage calls for a check-in and they're like "....someone took him? yeah buddy his parents are dead idk who these other motherfuckers are wtf this is actually crazy" and it's snowbell's fault i can't remember why. something to do with the plan with the alleycats, (I'll give you complete creative control over this part don't worry.)

snowbell says 'fuck off no one wants you here' when stuart tries to come home ad then one of the alleycats decides stuart should just die so he fights stuart in the park but snowbell comes in and saves the day because he's literally filled with remorse. and he literally kills the other cat. like maybe not direct killing but definitely manslaughter. or maybe not manslaughter but he def just stands back and watches the whole thing happen.

and they're a happy family <3

so basically it's angst and like some lighthearted fun along the way with a happy ending, and absolutely littered with orphans!!

if you could have this to me by this upcoming wednesday I'd be super super grateful thank you so much!!!!
