Recipe for Crispy Grilled Cheese
*annoying female vlogger voice*
Hey guys! Today I’m going to teach you how to make a nice, crispy grilled cheese! This is a great and quick-to-make snack so long as you’re not lactose intolerant.
Or don’t like a load of grease.
*epic music here*
*kitchen acoustics*
So first what you want to do is take a frying pan, then you want to turn on your stove and set the heat to medium-high. Let that heat up for a bit.
Take a bag of shredded cheese - I find that cheddar works best. Once your pan is heated up enough, just sprinkle some of the stuff onto the hottest part of your pan. Make sure your layer is pretty thin, but thick enough that holes won’t form.
Once that starts to like, boil and bubble, you want to add more shredded cheese to the circumference of your ideally circular patch of cheese. Let the bubble for a couple minutes.

Okay so that!s been simmering for for an appropriate amount of time. Take your spatula and push in the edges to get a neater lift.
Turn of the stove immediately and let it cool.
Thirty seconds later you want to lift that up like a tortilla. Now set your grilled cheese into a bowl or a plate. The quick cooling is what is going to give your snack that juicy crisp.
You can eat this with your bare fingers like a normal person, or you can eat with a fork and knife like the British.
Another way to enjoy this treat is stick it between some bread or toast for a cheese sandwich. Enjoy!

nourishing snacks
1. frozen yoghurt covered berries
- take a handful or however many you desire of berries, personally I think blueberries work the best, wash and dry them. cover each berry with plain or vanilla Greek yoghurt, place on wax paper, freeze for an hour & enjoy!
2. Smoothies
- fruit smoothie blended with or without protein powder for that extra protein and creaminess. I rec strawberries & half or whole banana with protein powder, pineapple & blueberries, or pineapple & strawberries!
3. Sweet apple plate
- wash and slice one red apple (I like honeycrisp), lay out on a plate and drizzle with melted peanut/nut butter, honey, melted chocolate or mini chocolate chips, & sprinkle of cinnamon. grab a fork & dig in!

Honey Pecans

These simple Honey Pecans take less than five minutes to prepare and they are so versatile you can sprinkle them on salads or Ice Creams alike, or eat them as they are. It makes an excellent accompaniment to cocktails, should you have guests dropping by! Happy Saturday!
Ingredients (makes 1/2 cup):
1/2 cup pecan halves
1 heaped tablespoon natural honey (like Manuka Honey)
1/4 teaspoon fleur de sel or sea salt flakes
Line a plate or a small tray with baking paper; set aside.
Heat a small frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add pecan halves and toast until fragrant, shaking the pan often, a couple of minutes. Then, drizzle in the Manuka Honey, shaking the pan to coat the pecans. Sprinkle with fleur de sel, shake once more and remove from the heat.
Spoon beautifully glazed pecans onto prepared plate or tray. Let cool completely.
Eat Honey Pecans as a snack or use them as a toppings for yoghurt, ice creams, salads...
