I'm sorry It's taken so long Gavin, and I know you asked for a lazy day with Kendall but this is my twist on it I hope its okay!

I rushed around my apartment getting ready my valentines date with Kendall, he had told me to meet him at his apartment at 7pm and to dress however I wanted, but seeing as it was valentines I decided to make and effort putting on a dark blue dress with cut outs on the rib cage, a dress I knew was one of Kendall's favourite!

After and hour or so of getting ready I left my apartment making my way to Kendall's quickly texting him that I was on my way.

After a short walk in the cool LA breeze I arrived at Kendall's house knocking on the door as I waited for him to open it.

"Gavin!" Grinned Kendall as he opened the door. "Happy valentine's baby" He smiled pulling me into a hug and kissing me softly.

"Happy Valentines" I replied as he invited me in, which is when I noticed that he was wearing just his jeans and a casual plaid shirt. "Are you not ready? I thought you said we were going out for dinner?" I questioned

"No I said we were having dinner, I didn't say we were going out" He smirked

"Okaay.." I said Looking at the bear dinning table with no food and giving Kendall a questioning Look.

"I thought we could eat some where more comfortable." He smiled Taking my hand and leading me to his bedroom where he had all my favourite foods from my favourite restaurant laid out on dishes across the bed. "I wanted to do something special for you. I didn't want to have to put you through the stress of the paparazzi at the restaurant or fans asking for pictures and auto-graphs, so I thought what's better than a lazy day in, snuggling up with my beautiful girlfriend in bed with amazing food!" He smiled

"Kendall this is amazing!" I smiled as I hugged him. "Now I feel over dressed" I said awkwardly looking down at my dress and heels.

"Here" Said Kendall Laughing slightly as he through me one of his plaid shirts and pair of boxers to change into.

I changed into Kendall's clothes and returned to his bedroom to see him sat on his bed eyeing the food.

"Come on Gavin, I'm dying to eat!" He laughed as I sat on the bed next to him as he placed a blanket over our legs as we tucked into the food as he switched the TV on as we engaged in small talk.

"What's this I hear about a fan trying to get you to marry them?!" I said laughing as we tucked into food.

"Oh yeah the other day at the meet and greet some one had brought a marriage certificate or something for me to sign instead of a CD but security spotted it before I signed it" Laughed Kendall.

"Okay good" I winked sticking my tongue out at him.

"I did say to security, my girlfriend wont want that" He laughed as I took the last bite of food. "Woah, that is pretty sexy" Laughed Kendall.

"What?" I giggled.

"The way you just eat anything and everything! The fact your not one of those stupid girls who only eat salads!" He smiled.

"What can I say I love my food" I replied.

"Well it's a very attractive quality" He laughed as He got up clearing the plates. "I'll just clear these away and bring desert out" Smiled Kendall as I nodded as I snuggled under the duvet.

Minutes Later Kendall reappeared with a tray.

"Desert is served m'lady" He smiled as I sat up looking at the tray of chocolate covered strawberries. "Your favourite I know" Smiled Kendall pleased with himself as he sat next to me lifting a strawberry to my mouth as I took a bite out of it letting the flavours dance around my taste buds as Kendall took a bite of the strawberry.

"You, know I've missed these lazy days with you, where we have no interruptions and I don't have to share you with anyone" Smiled Kendall as we heard voices burst through the front door. "Spoke to soon" Groaned Kendall as we hear Logan and Carlos' voice's

"Kendall?" Called Logan

"In the Bedroom" Replied Kendall slightly annoyed.

"Hey dude... Oh hey Gavin" Smiled Logan

"Hey Gavin" Carlos also smiled.

"Hey guys" I said laughing slightly.

"What do you guys want? It's valentines day?" Questioned Kendall

"Yeah, how comes you guys aren't out?" Questioned Logan

"We didn't want to go out we wanted to stay in. What do you want?" Repeated Kendall

"We wanted to know if you guys wanted to come to the Roxy, theres a sick band playing there?" Suggested Carlos.

"Thanks Guys but, I really just want to stay in with Gavin tonight." He explained as I smiled at his sweetness.

"Okay well see you love birds soon!" Laughed Logan as He and Carlos left.

"I'm sorry about them baby" Apologized Kendall.

"It's alright, You could have gone you know?" I replied

"Nope, tonight is about our lazy night in doing absolutely nothing together!" Smiled Kendall as I leaned over and kissed him.

"Your amazing you know that!" I smiled.

"I love you" Smiled Kendall.

"I love you too Kendall" I replied as He pulled me in for a kiss before we returned to watching pointless TV snuggled up together eating chocolate covered strawberries.

Logan and I walked through the door to his house where I spent most of my time as we arrived home from a night out with Logan's band mates and some mutual friends.

"I can't believe Carlos' dancing, you'd think after all the choreography you guys do he'd be better on the dance floor." I laughed as we walked through the door hand in hand.

"I know! He was throwing some pretty shocking moves!" Laughed Logan. "Not as bad as James' flirting with that red head though that was shocking!" Added Logan as I kicked off my heels and Followed Logan into the kitchen.

"Your just such a flirting expert aren't you!" I laughed sarcastically.

"Yep! Exactly that! I mean I got you to date me didn't I! I'm a talented flirt!" He laughed.

"Hmmm.. I think that was more luck than talent!" I laughed winking at him.

"Oh how dare you undermine my flirting powers!" He said as He tried to tickle me but I ran away running manically around his kitchen laughing before he finally caught me kissing me romantically but with a bit of force.

"Want a coffee babe?" He questioned as I lent my back against the counter as he put the kettle on.

"Hmm, no thank you I better be going home I haven't been home in ages!" I replied looking at the time on my phone.

"Aww come on baby, don't leave me to sleep alone!" He said placing his hands on my hips and looking at me with puppy dog eye's.

"Logan.. don't look at me like that! And you never let me actually sleep!" I replied laughing.

Convincing You (A Logan Story) Part 3

"(Y/N)!" Cried my mum as she opened up the front door to the house.

"Hi Mum" I smiled as she pulled me into a hug. "BBQ smell's great!" I smiled as I walked into the hallway.

"Oh I'm so glad your here!" She smiled.

"Of course I'm here mum, I've never missed one of these BBQ's in my life" I smiled

"(Y/N)!" Exclaimed Mamma Henderson as she pulled me into a hug.

"Hey Mamma Henderson! Its great to see you!" I smiled.

"And you dear! Oh don't you look so pretty!" She said admiring my cut out pink and white polka dot dress.

"Thank you" I blushed.

"Isn't Logan with you dear?" She questioned

"Oh no, he said he's going to be late but he'll get here!" I smiled "I thought he would have told you?" I questioned

"Nope, I am just his mother after all" Laughed Mamma Henderson. "At least he has you in LA to check on him every now and then making sure his behaving." She smiled as I laughed.

My mum lead us through to the large back garden of the home I grew up in, in Texas.

The BBQ was in full swing as my dad and Papa Henderson stood around it 'Manning' the BBQ . Logan's little sister Presley was playing fetch with my family dog Bruce.

The was a large wooden table set with plates, nibbles, finger food, all kind of salads, different types of wine, fruit juices and punches.

They had placed pretty fairy lights in all the tree's and bushes for when it got dark and placed candles all around the rim of the pool at the end of the garden.

We had these family BBQ's every year it alternated between holding them at the Henderson house hold and our House

"Daddy!" I smiled as I ran up to my dad giving him a hug.

"Hey baby! Its great to see you!" He smiled before I hugged Pappa Henderson.

"How are you both?" I questioned as I stood chatting with them for a while before I sat at the table with my mum and mamma Henderson as Presley came and joined us

"(Y/N) you look so grown up!" Smiled my mum as she pulled me into a hug

"Hey Pres! How are you?" I questioned pulling her into a hug.

"I'm great thank! Bet your glad to be back in Texas?!" She laughed

"I've missed the chaos of the families so much!" I said laughing at the trail of aunts, uncles and cousins that walked through the door happily as I greeted them all as they all took a seat at the table as we all engaged in small talk

"Where's Logan Dear?" Questioned my Uncle Ian as I pored myself a glass of wine

"Oh he's going to be a bit late I'm afraid he has an interview with the band, he says he's sorry!" I added taking a sip of my wine.

"Oh he's achieved so much! With his band!" Smiled Logan's Aunt Nora proudly. "But he should still be on time!" She scolded as I laughed. "When are you two going to get married give our families something big to celebrate" Questioned Nora as I chocked on my wine

"Married?! Wha- No!" I said quickly

"Oh (Y/N) You and Logan have been friends forever! We've all watched you grow up together we know its going to happen!" Winked Nora

"No, no,no" I laughed slightly. "Me and Logan are just best friends!" I added as they all rolled their eyes in disbelief.

After and hour or so of chatting Logan finally arrived just in time for the food.

"Logan!" Everyone cheered as he walked over greeting everyone before giving me a kiss on the cheek and sitting down next to me, as he did so both our mum's cooed in delight making me roll my eyes slightly.

"How are you all?" He questioned as my mum answered telling him how good it was to see him again.

"You could try and be on time though Logan don't think that because your in a band gives you an excuse to be late!" Scolded Nora as I laughed.

"I'm sorry aunt!! I won't be late again!" He said like the little boy who always used to get told off.

"So Loges, when are you going to make an honest woman out of (Y/N)" Questioned Pappa Henderson as I blushed looking at Logan slightly before looking at my lap wishing the ground would swallow me up.

I was secretly pleading with Logan in my head not to mention anything that had been said between us in the last couple of weeks the last think I wanted was our parents thinking were getting together when I don't even know if we are! Both of our parents, mainly our mum's have been dying for Logan and I to get together for ages and when we were teenagers always used to try and set us up on dates whenever they could. But the fact they wanted us date always made me not want to in case it some how broke the families that were so close apart.

"Yeah! Come on Logan! Then (Y/N) Will be my sister!" Said Presley eagerly

"I will make an honest woman of her when she lets me!" He said cheekily as I shot him a death glare. "Only Kidding! (Y/N) Is my best friend!" He added

Everyone asking why I didn't want to get with Logan is just what I wanted....

"Well I already have my hat picked out!" Said my mum eagerly.

"Mum!" I scolded. "Me and Logan are friends! Can't everyone just be happy with that!" I said as I ate a fork full of salad.

After a while everyone had divided off into their own conversations including me and Logan.

"So how'd your interview go?" I questioned taking a sip of wine

"Well, the interview went well before the interview... not so well" He said.

"Why what happened?" I questioned.

"I walked into a lamp post in full view of all the fans" He said blushing as he moved his flat fringe that was usually perfectly spiked hair of his forehead to reveal a nasty looking purple bruise.

"...You walked into a lamp post?" I questioned trying not to laugh but failing horribly when I screamed with laughter my sides in pain after laughing so much.

"Okay! Don't laugh! Its not funny!" He said trying to get me to quieten down as everyone at the table started to stare.

"Oh but it is!" I laughed struggling for breath. After a couple of minutes I finally re-gained my breath and composed myself. "Sorry" I coughed. "Are you okay It looked nasty" I replied.

"You just laughed at me now your asking if I'm okay?" He questioned as I nodded

"That's how I roll" I giggled sticking my tongue out at him.

"What backwards?" He chuckled.

"Yup" I replied laughing slightly.

"Okay.. Yes I'm fine. To be honest with you I'm probably more emotionally hurt after you just laughed at me!" He replied pretending to be deeply hurt.

"Oh I'm sorry did I hurt your male ego?!" I laughed

"You most certainly did!" He said sticking his tongue out at me. "And if you think about it, It's kind of your fault I walked into the lamp post!" He said

"What?! My fault?! I wasn't even there!" I replied

"Well You texted me and I was replying so I was concentrating on replying!" He exclaimed

"Well you should learn to multi-task!" I said sticking my tongue out at him.

A couple of hour after lunch everyone apart from Mamma and Pappa Henderson and presley had left to get home before dark.

Both my parents and Logan's parents having consumed a fair amount of alcohol sat drunkenly talking about anything and everything they could.

I excuse my self from the table walking towards the pool as the water sparkled in the Texan sun. I slipped my white wedges off and sat at the edge of the pool dipping my feet in the water blissfully hearing the laughter and chatter of my parents in the background.

"Hey, you okay?" I hear Logan's soft voice say as I feel his comforting hand on my shoulder as he sits beside me.

"Yeah,just thinking" I smiled softly

"Of what?" He questions swirling his hand in the water mindlessly

"Just everything, you know?" I replied.

"I know, Coming home make's you realise how far away LA is right?" He added as I nodded laughing slightly. "What's funny questioned Logan?!"

"It's just, your the only person in the world that I don't have to explain how I feel to... you just know!" I said smiling softly.

"Yep" He replied smiling as we sat in silence for a few moments. "Come on I have a surprise!" Said Logan suddenly jumping up and pulling me up with him.

"What?" I questioned. "What is it?" I asked.

"It's a surprise! Come on put your shoes on!" He instructed as I put my shoes on before following out the house.

"Won't they worry that we've just disappeared?" I questioned

"(Y/N) we're 23 now! Were big children!" He laughed "And plus there so out of it they wont notice!" He laughed.

"Okay, so where are we going?" I questioned.

"It's a secret just follow me!" He winked.

We walked for another 10 minutes before Logan came to a sudden stop.

"Why'd you stop? Are we here?" I questioned looking at the large open field we used to play in as kids.

"Not quite. I have to blind fold you" He smirked getting a tie out of his pocket.

"Seriously?!" I questioned in disbelief as he nodded eagerly before wrapping the blind fold around my head covering my eye as he took my hand leading the way guiding me carefully

"We're here!" He said triumphantly as he removed the blind fold for me. As I got my sight back my vision was flooded by the scene in front of me. We were at the lake were we used to come as kids to get away from stress.

But it was nothing how I remembered it every tree in front of us was covered in pictures of Logan and I through out or life from when we were babies playing together to last month at a bar for James' birthday. There were also candles everywhere the flames sparkling and a square red blanket laying by the edge of the river.

"Logan? What's all this?" I questioned taking a closer look at the photo's on the tree. "When did you do it all, why?" I added.

"I just wanted to do something special for you! and I did it in my 'interview' earlier." He smiled

"So you didn't walk into a lamp post?" I questioned.

"Oh no that happened!" He laughed as I laughed with him.

"This is beautiful! Thank you so much!!!" I smiled hugging him before he lead me to the blanket where we sat down admiring the glistening water in front of us silently.

"Hey, remember that time we came down here and went swimming all day and it got to 8pm and our dads came out and found us just messing about in the water." Laughed Logan softly as I nodded smiling fondly at the memory.

"Yeah! Or that time you found a row boat and you brought it down here and we got in it and even though I begged you to stay close to edge you went right out and the boat started to fill with water and we had to get out and pull it to the river bank" I laughed

"We have so many memories!" Smiled Logan "And when I used to wait on your front step until you got home form your paper round.." He started.

"And then we'd go and play on the massive tyre swing we made in your garden" I said finishing the story

"We were so cool" Winked Logan as tears began to fill my eyes. "Hey what's wrong?!" He questioned panicking.

"It just feel's so long ago now, like everything's changing!" I said as I let a tear fall down my cheek but Logan quickly swiped it pulling me close to him.

"You mean me telling you that I like you?" He questioned

"Yeah!" I sighed as I turned to look at him pulling all the courage within me to say what I needed to say. "Logan, I like you too! And the past couple of weeks I've been feeling things for you that I never thought I would feel for anyone let alone my childhood friend." I started as more tears started to fall.

"(Y/N) what's the problem?! I like you and you like me why can't you just let me love you?!" He said caressing my face softly with his hand.

"I'm scared Logan! I don't want things to change between us! What we have is perfect! and what if we fight and argue and..." I started.

"(Y/N)! Yeah, things would change! But for the better! I could call you mine, and finally feel what it's like to kiss you, hold you, feel your skin against mine! And protect your from everything I can! And Of course we'd fight! every couple does its natural! But do you know what?! It wouldn't matter because it just makes you stronger!" He said passionately. "I've cared about you your whole life! and I know you always felt the same way! but I was so scared of change back then, so scared I'd mess up and loose you for good, but we won't know if we don't try!"

"But I don't want to complicate things. We can't just drop everything and go swimming all day or play on a swing. Like you said were grown ups now things aren't like they used to be!" I replied.

"Aren't they?" Questioned Logan as he stood up slipping his shoes off along with his hoodie before running full speed towards the water and jumping in. "Come on (Y/N)!" He called as he resurfaced from the water. I laughed as I dried my face and slipped of my shoes before copying Logan's actions and jumping in the water where we splashed about like kids for the best part of an hour.

"See! Things can be exactly as they used to be!" He smiled pulling me into a hug as I pulled away from the hug our lips were inches apart I could feel his breath on my lips as I leaned in slightly as did Logan as our lips barely touched each other but I still felt sparks. I leaned slightly for more but Logan turned his head placing a soft kiss of my cheeks instead of my lips. "I've only finished the two of the books" He said whispering softly in my ear making me smile. "I'll race you to the river bank?" He shouted as he ran towards the land as I followed. "I win!" He cheered as he helped me up on to the river bank as I rung the water out of my dress slightly.

"You cheated!" I replied

"Did not!"

"Did too!" I laughed as we sat back onto the blanket as the sun began to set.

"This has been nice" Smiled Logan.

"Yeah... It has" I smiled as I shivered slightly.

"Here.." Said Logan as he placed his jacket around my shoulders as he pulled me close to him.

"Your really special you know that!" I smiled.

"This.. this is special" He replied kissing me on the head as we watched the sun go down.
