'Undercover' Slugterra comic.

The first few weeks for Sarai going undercover at Blakk Industries were rough. Being away from her brother, Eli Shane, only to keep a safe profile was making her homesick and it doesn’t help that she’s known as a newbie.

So when Sarai overheard her mentor, Elyssa Moon, was managing the Shane gang’s infiltration, of course she wanted in (I could imagine she misses Eli and just wanted to see him).

Eli is aware on Sarai’s whereabouts at the time but never really acknowledged it. As much as Elyssa is irritated that her work shifts are back to back, she does tries her best to mentor Sarai. Now conflicted, Elyssa isn’t sure what to do if things go south, cause she has a clue on Sarai’s actions but isn’t quite sure why just yet. She can only for now, keep a close eye on her.

- Art trade with the marvellous @ariaterramoon!! Both Sarai and Saphira belongs to her too!! Now Im aware that Sarai’s job at the industries has to do with things outside the compound, but i guess you can take this as a soft-launch onto her permanent work placement since she is still new 😭

Anyways, hope y’all love this!! Sorry I couldnt do Trixie and Kord justice 😔 I haven’t done a comic in so long omg i was in the trenches.

I have questions about what was going through the head of Eli's mother for her to abandon her only child after he had just recieved knews of his father's supposed death

Like??? Ma'am?? Your 10 year old son is in desperate need of support and you're just going to dump him on another family member??

His father's disappearance and his mother's abandonment are the reason Eli is so intent on keeping his slugs around. It's why he was so distraught at learning he had to give up Joules for equipment, why he demanded they go back and refund the equipment.

He is so attached to the concept of family because of how his ended up.

Reason: She's a teenager like Eli, I just like seeing her as older

Kord: 22/23

Reason: He's an adult, he works as a field tester for the beast forge. His clan wants him to go into the family business of mining, but he chose to be a hero (majority of young adults trying to figure their life out)

Pronto: 30

Reason: All the old people jokes the gang do at his expense. But he's not overly old, just at that cool uncle age (he could be older, but 30 works for me)

Junjie: 35 - 38

Reason: He keeps the same appearance as the day he was turned into the Dark Slinger. He looks to be an older teen or very young adult. It had been 20 years since he was taken over, so he's in his late 30s

Reason: He was a young adult when he attempted to train with the Unbeatable Master. It was stated the last time Shanai was seen was 30 years ago

Reason: Similar reason to Blakk
