Everything is different without Jessica. 

Everything’s wrong. Skylar thought she’d be fine, she has all the other girls in the dance team and she doesn’t have social anxiety like Emily, but it’s now that Jessica isn’t here that she realises just how much of her day they spent together.  And, sure, she could go to the studio and meet up with the others but it won’t be the same because Tori and Halle always fight but they always make up because they love each other more than the stupid thing they’re bickering about, because you’ll never see Halle without Tori, because Halle has a mug in Tori’s kitchen and a chair in her garden, because even if they’ve spent the morning arguing they still immediately turn to each other when they’re told to partner up. Dana’s about as friendly as a shark but any time she’s not working her butt off at the studio she’s with Kenzie. Dana’s always the first one to see a trick that Kenzie’s perfected, Dana knew everything about Kenzie’s new baby sister before any of them, Kenzie’s the only one Dana will listen to when she tells her to take a break, Dana always comes in with free snacks from the bakery that Kenzie isn’t really supposed to give away but Dana’s an exception because Dana’s her best friend, her person. And the girls all love Skylar and Skylar loves them but they can never compare to Jessica.

Now I wasn't orginally going to make a post about this movie since there are no Queer characters in the film but I might do posts about certain movies if the lead actors are Queer. The main character, while sexuality/gender is never stated the lead is Skylar Davenport, they are a visually impaired Non-Binary actor. I didn't know this going into the film, I honestly watched it for Jessica Parker Kennedy (and she was great in it).

I was pleasantly surprised about how much I actually liked and enjoyed this movie. Home Invasion movies are usually very unsettling as it's something very real that happens. I don't often have much luck in finding any enjoyment or entertainment from modern horror movies, I generally just like old black and white horror but I liked this.

Some people said this movie wasn't violent enough for them but honestly if you don't do gore then this is probably a fine horror for you. (There is a bit of blood but nothing actually gorey)

I have my own collection of descendants characters ( part 1 / part 2 / desktop ) so some of my castings were based around my own collection of descendants kids (not reusing faces I used for mine & wanting them to work as siblings to some I’ve made) but without further ado, here we go!

I started this series back in the early stages of the pandemic and now the project has blossomed into this gorgeous creation!
