Cannibalism!

(Content warnings: Cannibalism, obviously, self-cannibalism, body horror, burns, starvation, creepy whumper)

Whumpee has two choices, either they starve, or they eat their own flesh (or the flesh of another Whumpee)

Whumpee only being fed a strange meat Whumper gives them. It tastes like pork, so they don't question it. The sick feeling in their stomach when they realize it was from an innocent person.

Nonhuman Whumpee who's flesh has healing properties and/or tastes really good. - It may also regrow after being damaged.

That scene from DHMIS 5. If you know, you know. If you don't, keep it that way.

Whumper melts Whumpee's skin with a blowtorch. It melts off in strips. They pull it off in strips with their teeth, forcing them to watch (inspired by painandconfusion)

Whumpee has gone so insane from hunger that they start eating their own arm.

Whumpee develops a taste for flesh after being forced to eat it for so long. Caretaker tries to help by allowing them to eat raw meat (only the kind that won't get them sick of course). Then they switch to cooked, then to other foods.

Whumpee is a fruit bat vampire. Instead of drinking human blood, they drink the juice from fruits. Scientists catch them, test on them, and force them to drink from humans.

"Well, you look good enough to eat."

"One more sksksk and I'll sksksk skin you."

Squick-worthy things to do with skin

(tw: idk how to tw for prompt lists besides just re-stating the list but there's a lot of skin ripping, twisting, burning, and subdermal things, so I wanted to mention it)

Sandpaper. Rub.

Peel it back a little bit at a time. See how big of pieces you can get.

Cheese grater. Get some longggg strips. Like noodles.

Rub ground glass into it.

Put out cigarettes in open cuts.

Shove a prong under it.

Toothpicks. Let the splinters catch on flesh as they shove under, parallel to the surface.

Burn it until it melts and warps and drips away.

Superglue it to other parts of the body, a wall, the floor, etc. It’ll tear off.

Inject salt water under it.

Stitch cuts shut after shoving things inside. Razors, broken glass, screws, etc.

Melt hot tar onto it and rip it away. See how much skin comes up with it.

Carve the face away from the skull. Tan the skin into a mask.

De-gloving.

Tattoo gun. Acid. Make the scar pretty.

Liquid nitrogen burns.

Add suspension piercings. (Hook slipping under the skin of the back and whumpee hanging by that alone)

Piers. Pinch tight and twist until that spot rips away.

Thread a sharp wire under the skin and send electricity through it. (this one courtesy of wormwriting)

Carving whumpee’s tattoos out to make them ‘perfect’ again.

Cut parallel stripes, filet them away from the flesh underneath (still attached on both sides), then crochet it into a pretty braid straight up like it’s an early 2000’s ripped tshirt.

I love seeing Danny Phantom showing up and being like ‘don’t ask too many questions but John Constantine I own your soul. All of it. Lmao sucks to suck bitch’, and he’s usually all Ghost King Full Regalia as he does it, at least in front of the Justice League, but consider—

The thing that gets me about history and humanity is that you never know what is immortalized, and the things that will be immortalized are things you would never think.

I saw a person sharing a new tattoo, and it was one of Onfim's drawings. A boy who lived so long ago he is barely a blip now, but his drawings meant so much to people that somebody is now permanently marked in their skin with one of those drawings. Do you ever look at the things you make and just sit there and wonder if this is the thing that future people look at? Do you ever look at your art, your writing, your schoolwork, or anything that is yours and just wonder who will find it, who will fall in love with a piece of your humanity and become overwhelmed with emotion over? It's not unlikely. It's not totally unlikely that somebody will find a piece of you in the distant future and devoid of any other context of who you were will still love you because you were here. You were here, and you are still here, even hundreds or thousands of years later. Treat yourself with the same love that so many have for dear Onfim.

I know Onew has been gone on Hiatus for nearly six months now and it’s sucked for us Shawols, but daaaaaaaamn has Hiatus never looked so good on anyone as it does on Onew. Our Dubu Leader looks HAPPY, HEALTHY, STRONG, AND HE STILL HAS HIS LONG HAIR!

Going on Hiatus was the best decision Onew has ever made, even if it meant that he’s had to sit out of so much. It’s so nice to see an idol go on Hiatus for POSITIVE reasons instead of the normal due to an injury or because of a controversy. Once again, SHINee is setting a good example not just for their fellow idols but for society as well. Onew has shown us all that IT’S OKAY to take a break and focus on your health, whether that’s mental, physical, or both.

And I think it helps that Onew knows how patient and loving SHINee World is and how much we value his health over anything else. If we had been one of those fandoms that was constantly complaining about his absence and demanding that he return, I doubt he would’ve healed as well as he has. Honestly, it probably would’ve made his health worse and he wouldn’t have made the progress that he has. I’m so proud of SHINee World and the support they’ve shown Onew in his journey to better health, and I’m thankful every day to be apart of this amazing fandom.

Let’s continue to support Onew. I want him back just as much as the next Shawol, but none of us should pressure him into returning just because he’s starting to look healthier. I want Onew to come back when HE feels ready to return to us. If that takes weeks, months, even a full year, I don’t care as long as he’s happy and healthy. Take your time, Jinki. We love you and support you no matter what 🩵💖💎🐰
