The backstory of one of my OCs bc I want to Philip.

 Ok now that the TWs are straightened out backstory time! 

 Philip grew up in a richer house and also has the power to manipulate trust so he was pretty op He def threw his weight around, teachers? manipulated. People who went against him? manipulated. Parents? manipulated. Nothing too bad, mostly just homework and stuff. He never used his powers to do anything super illegal or terrible per say but still.

 So then in high school he went to a party and these guys were like "Use your power on that girl so we can {redacted bc I dont want to write that e w}" and he was like b I t c h n o 

 and later they cornered him in an alley and attacked him seeing a cut on his wrist they were like oh so you cut? and then they pretty much cut his arms up and mocked him saying he probably liked it/beat him up Obviously this deeply tramatized him. He fell into a depression and hid it all.

 Not wanting to tell anyone He fell off of the totem pole with his powers weakened thanks to trama. And fell into a loathing The only thing that kept him going was journalism and he managed to get into a good collage In collage he got himself therapy finally which was good but then slowly fell in love with his only friend in collage 

But she found out abt his trust powers and was like "Aaa you must be manipulative and you lied to me" so she pretty much cut him off leaving him friendless He kept going to therapy but never fully recovered from the heart break or the knife trama

 He is well off though/has a journalism job. But he thinks the only way to get people to trust him is to use his trust powers sadly. Including Tetro which is why he used it on Tetro but had no ill intent. But oof when Tetro found out he freAkEd out and ran away so yeet
