[18 May 2022] after playing the game, i have gained the great misfortune of having Ren haunt my every waking moment. i simply saw pink boy on itch.io and thought "wowie" and then proceeded to cry when i found out that he actually looks like an e-boy and all I could think was "WOWOW HE SO NICE TO LOOK AT AYO???? 😳😳" either way, i actually wanted to ask if Ren could dance? and if so, does he have any preference? that and even if he couldn't, is he okay with MC just randomly grabbing him to dance with them in the apartment because they just like bonding with him like that? (honestly speaking all thoughts i have of this e-boy dweebus are domestic fluff bits, so while he has questionable hobbies, i would like for him to know he's lovely and that i wanna hold him gently like hamborgor 😔)

Last year I lost a loved one to su*cide and another to c*ncer and I'm so so careful when I speak of them because I don't want to hurt anyone more than they're already hurting. I know (I know!!!) why the words themselves set people off. I'm subjected to ads about c*ncer drugs and depression treatments everyday and I can hardly stomach it I want to cower under my bed until it's over but it's never over. And tiptoeing around their causes of death makes grief even more isolating. I NEED to talk about how our brains and bodies can turn against us and how quickly our energy sharpens and aims inward and the threats born within remissions and how the tendrils of those particular poisons stretch out after the people die and we have to bop around with bodies and brains and bear it and keep bearing it

Realistically, he probably put it back on the shelf the moment Elanor arrived ^^; Part of me wants to say that he hid it somewhere amongst the shelves (because Angel touched this book... Their hands and eyes graced the cover... No one else deserves the luxury of touching it as well...), but I think he'd be too overwhelmed with Angel finally noticing him to give it much thought.

Ren had no interest in reading the book either, but he did pick a "flora" theme for a very specific reason — as opposed to stalling/trying to buy time..... >:3c

Without spoiling too much, it's the same reason why he sometimes comes across as clumsy (with his words) during conversations, talks a lot about AoG, lives in a stupidly expensive and gaudy apartment, stole another person's nickname and made it his own, sometimes comes across as pushy, mimicked another character's exact line, gave Angel a high-end luxury gift, and why the "X I V" clips in his hair correlate to specific letters in the— *I am forcefully removed from the stage*
