1. What would you spend 500 yen on?

Sakura: “I’d buy Saboten’s Curry Bread.”

Nirei: “I’d like to buy more notebooks!”

Sugishita: “Dunno.”

Kotoha: “A cup of delicious coffee.”

Suo: “I would donate it of course.”

Hiragi: “I just ran out of stomach medicine.”

2. If you were to travel in Japan, where would you like to go?

Sakura: “Well… a place worth taking a walk.”

Nirei: “We should all go to Okinawa, it looks like fun.”

Sugishita: “Dunno.”

Kotoha: “I want to see the snowy scenery of nature in Hokkaido.”

Suo: “I’d like to go to a tea plantation in Shizuoka and pick tea.”

Hiragi: “I want to try snowboarding, so probably a ski resort.”

3. What is your favorite seasoning?

Sakura: “Ketchup. Omurice with ketchup is the best.”

Nirei: “I like to eat rice cakes with sugary soy sauce!”

Sugishita: “Dunno.”

Kotoha: “Japanese-style soup stock. With that, I can make anything delicious.”

Suo: “I’d say soy sauce. It's sweet, isn't it?”

Hiragi: “It's delicious if you put miso on nigiri rice and bake it.”

4.) What do you think about before going to sleep?

Sakura: “Fighting.”

Nirei: “I think about everyone I was with that day.”

Sugishita: “Dunno.”

Kotoha: “Pothos's sales status.”

Suo: “The dragon sealed in the left eye is about to rampage, so I guess that's it, haha.”

Hiragi: “If I can’t sleep, I try not to think about it.”

5. What would you eat for your last meal?

Sakura: “What… Why is it the last one? I’ve never thought about it.”

Nirei: “High-class meat. I want to eat til I’m full!”

Sugishita: “Dunno.”

Kotoha: “I dont care what I eat, I just want to eat it with everyone at the facility and the teachers.”

Suo: “Hmm, I don’t need to eat anything.”

Hiragi: “If it’s my last meal, then that must mean I’m in a bad situation, right? That means my stomach hurts, and I wonder if I can eat it. If I can eat it, I might say Katsudon.”

6.) What happened recently that made you happy?

Sakura: “At the butcher's... I got a bonus when I bought croquettes…”

Nirei: “I was able to have small talk with Mr. Umemiya.”

Sugishita: “Dunno.”

Kotoha: “Customers really liked the new menu.”

Suo: * “I had two tea pillars stand recently.”

Hiragi: “I got a ticket for my favorite band.” (LETS GO TOGETHER PLEASE!!!)

* When pouring freshly brewed loose-leaf tea, you can sometimes expect to find a tea stem/pillar in your tea. It’s considered good luck if one of those pillars stand vertically.

7.) What would you do if a stranger of the opposite sex asked for your contact information?

Sakura: “What?! What are you going to do when you have it!?”

Nirei: “A-are you sure it’s mine you want!? Not Sakura, or Suo’s?!”

Sugishita: “eh… uh…. um…”

Kotoha: “Sorry~ I have a boyfriend.”

Suo: “I don’t have a phone, sorry.”

Hiragi: “O..Oh… is my number okay?” (YES PLEASE)

When they first started you panicked a bit. After having a phone call with your doctor you were able to calm down. That morning you had woken up with the usual vomiting but you also had cramps and you were spotting.

Your doctor reassured you, letting you know that it was completely normal to be spotting during pregnancy and there was nothing to worry about.

'If anything abnormal happens, you should definitely come to the hospital though,' Miguel thought it was your period finally coming back. You were glad you shook him off your tail because he was starting to suspect something was wrong.

That relief didn't help that it felt like something was stabbing you in the abdomen. The fact that you felt that pain while you were growing a human in there made you even more upset.

Miguel was in the kitchen making you some tea and getting you Advil to have with your water. You curled up in a fetal position, teeth digging into your plump bottom lip, fighting away the tears that stung your eyes.

No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't stop your tears from spilling. Just then Miguel walked in with your medicine, tea, and something for you to eat. "Did I keep you waiting?" Miguel asked as he sat next to you and helped you sit up against your bed frame.

He wiped your tears as he watched you take your medicine and slowly drink the tea he had prepared. Miguel always hated to see you in such pain during your period. He didn't like it when you cried. He didn't want you to feel distressed ever.

So he did what he could and he ran his hands through your hair in the way you liked. Your head was nuzzled into his chest, his heartbeat helping slow down your thoughts. Miguel was your safe space. He was your shelter from the storm of all your spiraling emotions.

"I love you," you mumbled into him.

"I love you more," he answered, planting a kiss on your temple. If his furnace of a body wasn't warming you up, the blood rushing to your cheeks from how soft and gentle Miguel was with you.

The two of you agreed on having yet another lazy day together. It broke Miguel's heart when you winced in pain occasionally holding onto him tighter when you felt sudden shocks of pain.

He couldn't do anything but rub your back and caress your stomach until it was time for your next dose and you could feel better again.

He knew that a lot of the time when you were experiencing cramps you played music or did something to distract yourself so he decided to put on one of your favorite comfort shows.

He didn't understand your deep emotional connection to a one-season animated show with only 10 episodes until he watched it with you and understood. Not only was the plot amazing, and the show hilarious, but it was also action-packed.

It also satisfied his urge to constantly match-make and gossip about things that are just not his business. You hated to enable this side of him but it was so silly to see him geek about things.

You enjoyed seeing Miguel talk about things that he was passionate about. It made his eyes light up in ways they never had before you truly got to know him. He loved when you asked him questions about his job and the specific sciences he studied all the time. He loved to teach you about the things that interested him so much that he dedicated his life to discovering different multiverses.

Most of all you loved it when Miguel came home to you. because every time he left to run the Spider Society there was a chance he wouldn't come back. You hated to see him all tattered up from a fight. But you loved to help him clean up. You loved being gentle with him when he was being treated the opposite way the whole day. You loved making him feel safe and the relieved look on his face the moment he saw you.

There was not a single period when you felt like you would be able to make it past the cramping stage until now. The overwhelming feeling of love and affection for Miguel overpowered the feelings of lain. Miguel was the father of your child and you couldn't have wanted anyone else to be that.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve Eve and Miguel is taking me out on a date. Just have to get through two more days, then I can surprise him. You thought to yourself as you snuggled into Miguel and allowed his own snores to carry you to slumberland.

Black Holes and Revelations by ArtisticRising (E)

Crowley takes a leap of faith… into the heart of a black hole. It’s the last card Crowley has to play. He can’t do this without Aziraphale… and he’s betting that Aziraphale can’t do this without him. Act I (Black Holes) ends around Chapter 6 (10 if you want the smut babes). You could leave the story off there. Up til chapter 6 you have a whole story that’s pretty much G rated. From there my thirst comes out like a sexy little demon in tight jeans and a vaguely downwards saunter. Act II (Revelations) is an attempt at season 3. Treat it as a separate work that builds off Act I. Lots of plot twists ahead/theories/speculations that I won’t spoil for you :)

The Ineffability of Gray by kitfornow (NR)

Fifteen years have passed since Aziraphale returned to Heaven, and still sometimes Crowley feels shell shocked and embarrassed and grief-stricken. And mostly, he still feels numb. Fifteen years isn’t really so long, in the grand scheme of things, and yet these have somehow been the longest years of his existence. He can almost feel time crawling by, laughing at him. But slowly, so slowly, Crowley began to try again. To try harder. To find a piece of himself that Aziraphale had not touched. To find a piece of himself that does not need changing. On his good days, he can open up. His friends come over to the flat, once in a while, and Maggie brings new records and Muriel brings burnt cookies that no-one complains about because they're so proud of them. They'll exchange stories and simply enjoy each other's company for a few hours. And sometimes, he feels almost alright. Until Crowley turns around and Aziraphale is there, standing in front of him, trying to stop the world from ending all over again.

You’ll help me eventually.” Rage flashes over Crowley’s face. “You think so, do you?” Aziraphale juts his chin up stubbornly, ignoring the unpleasant feelings Crowley’s expression stirs in him. “Yes.” Aziraphale needs Crowley's help in saving humanity from the Second Coming and despite what happened between them he's determined to get it. After all, it's not only that he needs Crowley, but his plan also includes their car. As for the other matters between the two of them... well there's no reason those can't be sorted out along the way as well, is there? Or, a possible take on Series 3 that includes the Bentley, a resurrected Jesus Christ set on bringing about the End of Days, and an angel and a demon who are stupidly in love with each other but are both suffering from a lack of experience on how to actually deal with said emotions. Emphasis on the stupidly.

Could I ask for a caregiver Uncle Bobby Singer babysitting a little (around 3-5 year regressed) reader fic?

And if possible, the reader is usually a hunter with Dean and Sam (and they're the usual caregivers), but they don't feel comfortable hunting with regressed reader so they drop the reader off at Bobby's as backstory?

Bobby scratches at the back of his head for a moment, looking down at you with a bit of apprehension in his eyes. Sam and Dean had called three hours ago asking the older man if he could do them a favor, he agreed as he knew saying no would only get him a earful of pleading and low-grade guilt tripping, but he hadn’t expected the boys to drop off a human.

As far as favors go Bobby Singer is known for doing a lot of them- finding out lore, helping burn some bones, posing as fake fbi agents to talk to local pd, he’s even tracked down the closest gas station on a few occasions when Dean thought he was going to die off on the side of the road. Babysitting is not on that list, unless of course you count how Bobby got to know the two Winchester brothers so well, but that was twenty something years ago.

He in no way thought he’d have a toddler sitting in front of him. Sam had given a brief rundown of how to care for you and what age regression is- which Bobby already knew, idjit - and Dean all but threatened murder if anything happened to you while they were out hunting a wendigo only a state over from Bobby. Real assuring speeches from both of them, Bobby swears it’s like those two forget who taught them half the things they know.

“So, what do you wanna do today? I think I have some of those old westerns that Dean used to watch, but those might be a bit grown up for you, um…” His voice trails off to nothing as he wracks his brain trying to think of what the boys did as toddlers.

He didn’t see much of Dean at that age but Sam was around, always doing whatever his brother was doing, or trying to read too advanced books in Bobby’s library til Bobby would come and pluck him away to— he can’t remember what they’d do. It’s moments like these he wishes he had a parenting book around but he knows he handed those off to a local couple a few years back when he helped them rid their house of an angry spirit that was particularly upset with the nursery they were building.

“Can you play army men with me?” God you sound just like Sam did. But it’s a solid plan and Bobby’s able to quickly grab the baggie of plastic army men stuffed into the backpack the boys left behind for you, not that they should be gone more than the night based on how apprehensive they both were to leave you.

“Sure thing sweetie.” The army men get dumped onto the coffee table once Bobby clears away a few lore books, you definitely don’t need to be seeing all that.

“Your troop goes there and mine goes here, then we go to war.” You explain in a cheery voice as you push a group of the toys over towards Bobby’s side of the table.

Soon enough the two of you are battling against one another and Bobby’s worries about watching over you slip away. It becomes easy, a familiar comfortability of caring for a Winchester kid - let’s face it that’s what you are now, blood or not - and Singer’s able to throw himself into the task as he would during a hunt or research binge. Although he has to admit that taking care of you is much more fun.

Timeline of Suspicious Events Brain Dump - PART 1

OK, I gotta get this out of my brain and onto some kinda page so here we go! Spoilers galore in here probably

I feel there's far too many instances of Incredibly Convenient Timing™ throughout season two so I gotta get these written down. Leaving out the minisodes for now since, until I watch them through again, I feel they're mainly there to provide character background and show Aziraphale's arc from naive to more understanding of the deep cruelty of Heaven. Dropping the rest under the cut!

Semi-chronological events:

Armageddidn't - Beelzebub and Gabriel discuss how that shit was supremely fucked.

Bar 1 and 2 - Beez and Gab meet up again and agree NOT to do Armageddon 2 Electric Boogaloo. NOTE: in BOTH these instances, the same two guys are at the table behind them playing chess, then cards. Very suspicious.

Bar 3 - Beez and Gab set up the Every Day phenomenon in Edinburgh and Gab receives the fly. I couldn't see the dudes from the previous bar in the background this time but not sure.

Heaven - Gabriel refuses to start Armageddon 2. They seem to move on.

Heaven - An unknown amount of time later, Gabriel is put on trial by the Metatron and sentenced to a big demotion. He 'goes to clean out his desk' and flees to Earth. CONVENIENTLY, the Metatron essentially lets him go ("Should we sound an alarm?" "Oh don't be so wet. You'll all just have to find him." This is suspicious because we KNOW the disdain he has for the angels' competence.)

We then see Aziraphale get the message from Maggie that she wants to talk, which has three suspicious elements for me: That she left a note instead of coming to talk to him, the misspelling (ugrency), and then the odd fake crying. Everything about this interaction feels strange and scripted for a planned interaction, whether Maggie knows it or not. Why did she wait 8 months to bring up the late rent?

Sometime after this, or perhaps during, Shax and Crowley discuss in the park about "something going down in the Up. UP up." I feel like this implies that Beez already knows Gab was getting fired, but I'm speculating heavily here. But clearly SOMEONE in Hell knows something was going on, OR Hell already knows about the Second Coming being on the agenda.

Gabriel arrives to GREAT AND DRAMATIC FANFARE at the Bookshop. Sure, a naked man is novel, but LOTS of weird people are constantly shown in the background of most outdoor shots throughout both seasons. I find it EXTREMELY STRANGE that the ENTIRE street plus cars all stop and crowd around to watch Gabriel arrive. The cars even block the streets! It's VERY strange.

Aziraphale calls Crowley, who's driving Somewhere™. They agree to meet at the cafe across the street. Awkwardness about the 'naked man friend' ensues, etc.

The two move to the bookshop and cross Maggie along the way. They make a point of having her call Aziraphale 'an angel' and refuse food. Likely a red herring but worth noting.

Crowley meets 'Jim' and loses his shit. I agree it's very Interesting™ that Crowley says to 'ask him properly', as this ties in to suspicious memory related stuff throughout the season.

Crowley leaves and gets hit by lightning. We see the lightning hit the cafe door and some lights. I do wonder WHY it did though - it didn't hit any other shops, why only Nina's cafe, and while Maggie happened to be there? AND it affected their phones? It's just a LOT to get them stuck in the cafe together 'til later.

Crowley gets summoned to Hell by Beez and the Housefly Brigade and learns about the Book of Life threat. We heard this over the phone with Michael earlier. Crowley doubts the existence of the Book, so we know there's a threat out there but can't be sure it's real.

SIDE THOUGHT: Michael says anyone involved could be struck from the Book of Life but at the end of e06, the Metatron says Michael 'has no such authority'. This brings up a huge 'who said what to whom?' gap we absolutely need to fill. Where did Michael get the Book of Life idea if not from the Metatron?

The Husbands do their giant miracle as a direct result of the above dubious threat, which directly triggers Heaven suspecting the bookshop as Gabriel's hideout. This is our first major 'convenient plot progression' flag, I think.

Next modern day segments are intercut with the Job minisode. Here we learn about the Every Day song that Gabriel, surprisingly, can remember. It feels likely that love can make you remember things you lost, so I doubt this particular event is Too Convenient.

On the other hand, it feels Too Convenient that of all the record shops, MAGGIE'S shop is the one supplying records to that particular pub up in Edinburgh? That seems an awfully long way off. It's like 7.5 hours!

Point 2: This interaction with Maggie is extremely strange. She's idly flipping through records until Aziraphale comes in, and then she stands there very blankly until bursting into very dubious tears about Nina. I don't know about you but I feel it very strange for anyone who WASN'T comfortable to directly come talk to their landlord to suddenly wax poetic about their 'doomed love life'. And then immediately pivot to the song/records/pub. We also learn Nina has a partner here but Azi just. Ignores this later?

IMMEDIATELY after this, the Archangels make a surprise visit and because Maggie's convenient outburst was on his mind, he pretends THAT was what the giant miracle was about. This is our second major 'convenient plot progression' flag.

Right after this is the meetup in the pub. CONVENIENTLY this is right when Mr. Brown (of Brown's World of Carpets) happens to be getting a drink, rather than running his store. He has his clipboard with him and everything, and pins the Monthly Shop Associates Meeting on Aziraphale. I think this is awfully convenient and becomes our third major suspicious plot flag.

After this, Aziraphale and Crowley discuss having to set up Nina and Maggie. These two dinguses go straight to 'we have to make them actually fall in love!' instead of coming up with a scam plan like they did in the Job minisode. I don't know what to make of this, but I figure the two of them are just so flustered by everything they don't come up with, well... a smarter plan.

IMPORANT: Before the Job Minisode the clock nearby says it's 5:20pm. When Aziraphale comes back from his apparent reverie, Crowley is gone and it's freaking 6:30pm! That's a big gap to fill.

UHHH HAVE WE DISCUSSED THE FACT THAT THE RESURRECTIONIST PUB ADDRESS IS 66 GOAT GATE EDINBURGH? 66 GOAT? THAT SEEMS VERY SUSPICIOUS DOES IT NOT?

Here Crowley learns a) that Maggie and Nina got stuck in the cafe together after his tantrum, b) Nina has a partner and c) Nina doesn't appear terribly interested in Maggie. He never seems to mention this to Aziraphale.

Aziraphale asks for the Bentley to go investigate the pub. I find it very strange that he's determined to go by car when car = 7.5hrs, train = 5hrs, and plane = 1.5hrs. Why you gotta leave for 16+hrs Aziraphale??

The next day, Muriel shows up to 'inspect' the miracle. Both Aziraphale and Crowley can see that they (Muriel) are out of their depth and extremely inexperienced. This is their SECOND chance to make shit up like they did with Job!

It really feels like Saraquiel was trying to do them a solid and they fuckin flubbed it lol

Hazbin Hotel Episode 3 & 4 Opinions and Story logic (mostly)

(ignore any typos, it's 3 min til midnight and I have a con in the morning and was at one all day, i'm not reading through this)

(Episode 3: Scrambled Eggs)

It’s weird to me that Vaggie wants to get rid of the egg bois cuz like??? Are they not also sinners that need redemption? Don’t they need to be saved too? The problem was that they kept building weapons that Sir Pen told them to make. They just needed something else to do, like idk, act as staff for the hotel. They can build, so maybe they can fix the hotel up a bit more.

I get it was just so one of them could spy for Alastor, but like, just have one follow him randomly. That isn’t out of character considering the eggs don’t have one.

It doesn’t make sense to me that Vaggie is so broken up by not getting the hotel guess to bond with each other. I get that she feel like she’s failing Charlie, but like, Charlie has accomplished literally nothing up at this point.

Yeah, so far there’s only 4 episodes, and the most Charlies done in all of them is get the exterminations moved up to every six mouths and fuck over Angel majorly ( I'm soft-balling that right now).

Like she signs a random paper without reading it, which, like girl, you are the daughter of the devil, there is now way she doesn’t know about the importance of contracts. Not only that it absolute FUCKS OVER everyone in hell. And it’s just brushed off??? Like no?

The exterminations is a big deal to all sinners, no matter the rank. Even if no one else knows what she did, Charlie should be more effected by this. The contract thing should have happened mid season or at the end, with her becoming more frantic to prove that her idea work so she can save sinners. But instead its treated like an oopies and she does trust falls and bond activities as if that’s going to make anyone a better person. Them liking each other doesn’t redeem them of anything.

*episode 3…im talking about that…*

Its my favorite so far. I like Zestail, Carmillia, Velvette and that dino lady are my favorite characters. Genuinely surprised I haven’t heard more about Respectless because it is my favorite song. (But it did come out next of ep 4, so it make sense.)

I hope Carmillia’s daughters are adopted or where her kids in life cuz the idea that the sinners can have kids are stuck in hell like the imps is messed up.

I’m glad Velvette gets development in this episode. I was worried that she’d just be the woman (tm) character of the Vees and be pushed to the side, so I was happy to see her upfront so soon. She’s now my favorite of the three, sorry Vox. I also like that her hair style keeps changing, that’s a nice touch for the fashion oriented one of the Vees.

The hotel gang going to the bondage…idk what to call it..Club felt like a waste of time. It was there for a joke and that’s it. Then Vaggie takes them to a city war zone and throws Pen and Angel off the building while Husk sneaks away.

Admittedly Husk sneaking off was funny to me, but like why would Vaggie think this would make them trust each other. Angel has a mafia background and family. Best bet he’s had to get into a few fights with them, and if I’m remembering lore correctly, he hates most to all of his family but okay.

At this point I’m genuinely curious how this show is going to develop Charlie’s redemption plan, because everything we’ve shown them try has failed and been show to clearly leading to fail. I have a feeling that he show isn’t going to have an ending, its just going to end. Like, nothing regarding the redemption plot line had made a single step forward. There’s just one more of them not, that’s it.

The second song doesn’t feel earned from Vaggie’s side.

Conclusion: This one is the best so far. It being mostly away from the main cast is not a good sign but it’s only number 3.

(Episode 4: Masquerade)

*gestures to that hot fucking mess* I’m not touching most of it. If you’re reading this them you’ve probably seen better points than I can provide. So I’m just going working on the logic within the story.

Personally, I think the visuals are a little too much, and I can understand where it goes way to far for a lot of people. I’d like to note that while Helluva Boss has a working screen on every single episode this has jack shit which was a huge fuck up in my opinion. I don’t care what the shows rating is, adult content and sensitive content are two different things and need to be treated as such.

Any media that handles SA, SH or abuse needs a huge label like those FBI no pirating screens from back in the day. I am not joking.

*shit I toughed it moving back a bit*

Okay, so why did Charlie goes to Angel’s job KNOWING he was in the middle of working. Like she knows he makes porn. The episode starts with the hotel gang watching one and her being visible uncomfortable. Why would she go there? And not like, wait outside or something? Charlie not picking up how upset Angel was that she showed up to his job THE FIRST time is child levels of ignorance. Even without the seriousness of what was really happening, that was infuriating to watch. I get that she’s supposed to have rose tinted glasses but those things are opaque. By this point all of her ‘accomplishments’ have been fucking people over majorly. She is a hindrance to those around her and it is hard to watch.

( I’m not trying to make a joke about this but like, I don’t know how to express how fucking yikes this episode is. Like it’s such an uncomfortable topic and it’s fumbled so hard. And then for Viz to turn around and argue about it on twitter and shit, like come on.)

Husk and Angel arguing doesn’t make sense to me. Husk says doesn’t like Angel cuz he’s fake, ignoring that it’ coping, shouldn’t Husk’s reasoning that Angel makes him uncomfortable. He is clearly shown being bothered by Angel’s aggressive flirty and sex talk. Him being ‘fake’ comes out of nowhere. As does them fighting.

Three minutes in, Angel gets pissed at Husk dismissing his porno. Flirts with him when Husk reveals he knows about the other hotel gangs’ insecurities and secrets. Then gets pissy again when Husk does the same to him. If Angel is short with Husk this episode because of Val, then let that be that, but the back and forth is jarring.

Charlie being the one to go after Angel an comfort him would have been the one good thing she could have done in the show cuz to be honest she as done nothing but ruin things for everyone at this point.

The loser song happening IMMEDIATELY after Angel’s emotional moment is a gut punch. Like WTF. I could not imagine being on the production team, seeing this shit and not saying something. Like there’s not scene cut to Charlie writing those (pointless) letters, her talking to Vaggie about how she messed up, nothing.

Angel has his break down and Husk seconds later is singing about how shit sucks and he’s a loser. Without the context, that’s bad. With the context, it’s horrific.

Husk had/has a gambling addiction. Not to downplay that or invalidate anyone who has/is going through that but it is not the same as SA. Especially as Husk isn’t going through his problems right now while Angel had to go through it…what an hour before, two maybe. For a prolong period of time and has to go back to that.

Husk is talking about his problem in the past tense. Besides the Alastor thing, it’s behind him. Angel’s problem is in the present and future. And that’s not taking into account the guy at the bar who was going to drug him. Who Angel was going to let drug him.

I could not imagine being on the production team, seeing the script for this and not immediately being like, no. This show is making miss Helluva Boss I am not joking.

Positives: The song Poison is good. Just listen to the audio and nothing else and its great. Val’s coat being moth wings was neat to see (especially if you ignore everything that happiness before and after that one still shot). I like Valentino’s design. I’ve no people have a problem with his voice, but personally I don’t mind it.

Conclusion: I have mixed feeling on the aftermath of the episode. Acting like the problem is solved and not addressing it won’t treat the SA plot-line with the seriousness it deserves. On the other hand, I do not want to the show to touch anything like this again. If it just leaves it here, then at least its only the one episode instead of more.

Ignoring Viz’s response to criticism over this, the executives and people with money have likely seen this shit blow up, and if anything, might not be willing to let the show go near something like this again. Which, in my opinion, is the best option. I do not trust this show to do it well, so it might as well not do it at all.

I am going to keep watching, cuz, like Helluva Boss, I want to see how this turns out. I don’t have hope for the show, but I am curious.

Overall, I hope ep 4 will be a good example of what not to do for any media hoping to cover SA in one way or another.

warlocks and menstruation

so I was thinking how biologically it doesn’t make sense for warlocks to menstruate indefinitely. like we’re all born with our eggs or whatever follicle thingos will develop into them, they don’t just replenish like sperm, eventually they’ll run out after 50 years or less like maybe for a warlock with 2-3 times our egg count you could push it to 100 but that is quite far from forever. of course, apart from Tessa, all warlocks are sterile and so there isn’t really a problem there, only the question of whether they menstruate to begin with. I’ll get back to my theory of what does happen with Tessa soon but first I have to ask an important question: why, when checking if Tessa was a warlock, did they not first ask whether she gets normal periods? Shadowhunters do as far as we know they’re just normal humans in that. Warlocks—the accords were new enough and periods taboo enough then that it’s possible Shadowhunters just never bothered to check that. But still. It’s a question that should have been asked, given that Tessa was 16 when she came and more than old enough to have started her period by then.

Anyway I’m going to assume that given she never thinks anything is weird Tessa did have her period when she came to the Institute. I’m also going to assume by something that idiot Mortmain who knew nothing of biology (but did seem to know Tessa’s species as well as anyone) said that she wasn’t going to be able to reproduce just yet at 17 (hence the lack of pregnancy scare after the cave yknow cause they def didn’t use protection) which does set her apart from humans and Shadowhunters—we know that you’re Very Fertile at that age (which Tatiana found out for comparison). We also know that she had two children one year apart, and then none for at least 17 years if not 125 years. And she was quite sexually active with Will between the early 1880s and sometime in the 1930s (yes sperm quality does decline with age but if you have enough sex it stacks up your chances and at some point it’s always possible) in a time where birth control wasn’t nearly as reliable as it is today (all I’m saying is I don’t put their lack of a third child down to birth control).

so, in order to attempt to figure out Tessa’s uterus I’m going to visit the animal kingdom, especially birds: within this class you have birds who alt-menstruate (lay eggs) pretty much all year round til later in life (chickens) which are like humans in that regard, we’re fertile all year. You also have birds (like 99% of them actually) that are fertile at a very specific time of every year and mate and lay 3-4 eggs only (chickens can lay up to 300 eggs a year or more if they’re selectively bred for it; naturally this figure is closer to 150 without human intervention and selective breeding) and sit on them and hatch them. Then spend the rest of the year with their reproductive organs dormant (did you know a bird’s reproductive organs grow 300 times bigger during their laying season?) and I figure, I think I solved our mystery.

Because you’re not going to run out of eggs if you make it a cyclical seasonal kind of thing. Not annual, warlocks live far too long for that, but the earth has more cycles than just annual ones, ENSO and the Indian Ocean Dipole are examples of that. So I propose that Tessa menstruates for a couple years on and then several years off, like 99% of birds if you just stretched out time to be more like warlock time. Which would make sense as to why she had James and Lucie in such a small window and heavily reduce her chances of and accidental third pregnancy with Victorian/Edwardian era birth control.

I’m sorry, not to be super negative, but a “bridge” between s1 and 3? S2 was intentionally pointless filler? Like I get the three-act structure, but Jesus if you (Gaiman) can’t come up with a feasible way to tie what is supposedly the sequel plot to the existing canon, maybe he just isn’t that good of a writer!! (I’ve only read gomens and American gods, and American gods was………………… a slog. I never bothered with the show despite the phenomenal cast) Like season 2 was unfathomably bad, and I just can’t see Terry setting up a sequel that would require SIX EPISODES of filler to cover in order to get to the next part of the plot. S1 shouldn’t have happened but it did. S2 just straight shouldn’t exist and tbh I hope s3 is cancelled because I think it’d be really funny if NG was so up his ass with fan service that he fucks his chance to write a “sequel”

This. And I don't think we would be this angry had it all been "pointless filler" (imagine if we got 6 episodes worth of the S1 ep3 cold opening 😂 I probably would have been like "...okay? Cool I guess!" had it all been in-character, with no progression of the plot); I've talked about how it changed the characters irreparably in several past asks. I'm not gonna insult all of Neil Gaiman's writing because this because I've genuinely enjoyed some of his work, but like I said in a previous ask, a piece of media should be able to be good on its own without any context or explanation. And that's exactly it -- WHAT IF season 3 never gets written? Season 2 would just be left on its own, sucking til the end of time. Why make something bad that cannot stand by itself just because you hope a sequel gets made? Why not make something good from the get-go if you can?

Y/n sat on the couch with her gaze lost in the dancing of the branches of the tree that lived outside her house against the pink sky while she absentmindedly stroked Al’s back furr.

“You seemed distracted” Al turned his head.

Y/n sighed “Can I tell…you something?” She looked down at him.

Al stretched his legs and turned himself to be belly up.

“You can’t tell, Hisirdoux” she stopped petting his belly.

“I’m always loyal to you. You have always been more generous with the tuna” his brown tail twitched at the thought of food.

“I remembered…about Morgana” she whispered, not being able to look him in the eye “My sister” she smiled over the grief.

“Morgana?” Al’s pupils retracted.

“She was my sister and she died” Y/n closed her eyes, the turbulence of the sea coming back to her “she was murdered” she repeated, the feeling of betrayal was still fresh on her chest.

Alfred sat up when he heard her. It wasn’t a false alarm. Y/n was remembering.

“Y/n, I…” he put his paw on her leg.

“No. I just…” she turned back to the tree and cleaned away the tear that fell “I just need to process it again. I…Just…Don’t tell Douxie. Alright? He’s so excited with the battle of the bands” Y/n didn’t let him answer, she didn’t want to have this conversation, she stood up and went to the kitchen where she left her phone charging. A message from Jim light up the screen:

‘Tell ur friend to stay away from Claire’

Y/n rolled her eyes and went to prepare herself for the night guard.

The sun had long left the sky of Arcadia. Jim and Y/n were walking along the entryway of the old abandoned warehouse where the trolls were hiding after the fall of trollmarket. The Lake siblings were putting more enchanted Nuñez signs to keep the gumm gumms away.

“Have you been to the basement lately?” Jim interrupted the comfortable silence.

Y/n frowned, the memory of her mother’s art coming back to her “Yes” she shook her head. Her mother’s portrait of Blinky was strangely good “I didn’t know she could paint”

“We have to do something”

“I mean, it was bound to happen. You can’t permanently delete someone's memories without damaging their brain or someone actually taking them from you” Y/n shrugged and continued her task.

Jim turned to her sister, mouth wide open. How did she know that?

“What?” He asked.

She turned back at him, eyes wide open like a deer in headlights. She hasn't told his brother the truth about herself. She wasn’t sure why. Maybe it was that she didn’t know the whole truth, only bits and pieces or maybe it was because she’s afraid of losing another family.

“Master Jim, Lady Y/n, thought you could use this” Blinky interrupted the awkward stare down and brought the two cups “I manage to scrounge up all the components for a fine cup of coffee”

Y/n smiled grateful for the coffee and the interruption. She took the cup up to her nose and stopped, her brows furrowed at the smell of the coffee. It didn’t smell right.

Jim took a sip as Blinky announced that he used an old gym sock as a filter. The Trollhunter spited the drink into the troll face.

“Ugh!” Y/n pushed the cup as far as she could from her face.

“I know. I’m not a fan of the french roast either” Blinky wiped his face “How's the watch?”

“It’s given me time to think, Blinky, this Gunmar stuff and…the Eternal Night. What if I don’t have it in me to stop it?” Jim asked, his eyes filled with worry.

Y/n gave him half a smile and put her free arm around his shoulders as they started to walk. She knew his brother had what it took to stop Gunmar, Merlin’s amulet doesn’t make mistakes, she told him this before but it doesn’t matter, she could shout it from the top of every building in Arcadia, Jim has to realize it himself.

“We’ve discussed this before. Your heart is stronger than you know” reminded Blinky

“What if heart isn’t enough? This is Gunmar. He's ruthless. He…He doesn’t show mercy”

Quick lashes of the war appeared in Y/n’s brain. Jim was right. Heart isn’t enough.

“That may be true, Jim but you’re kind, smart and strong, stronger than you think. Gunmar may be a ruthless monster or whatever, but he has never won anything” Y/n pushed Jim closer to her. No matter how insecure she feels right now, she trusts her brother and his ability to win this.

“That doesn’t change the fact that Gunmar is ruthless” Jim insisted.

“Yes, Gunmar is a savage,and that’s precisely why we left his violent ways and searched for a new path” Blinky recounted “Master Jim, as our Trollhunter you have been, eh, awful” Blinky gave him a half smile “so many times, making horrible, horrible mistakes”

“Hey!” the siblings complained at the same time

“I’m trying my best!”

“He is trying his best”

“Precisely!” Blinky put his hand on Jim’s shoulder “And that’s why I would follow you to the ends of the earth. You are human. You grow. You learn from your mistakes. You always try to make the right choice. Unlike Gunmar, I believe trolls can grow with you”

“Let’s hope you’re right” Jim sighed.

“Jim…”Y/n called for her brother. When she lifted her eyes, she noticed that all the signs were gone.

“The signs. Where’d they all go?” Jim looked around and couldn’t see the signs.

“Jim, Y/n” Blinky screamed as the three of them saw the last sign disappear behind a bush.

“Why is the bush growling?” Y/n started to take steps back as the gumm gumms started to emerge from the woods.

“Oh no, for the glory of Merlin daylight is mine to command”

Blinky and Y/n ran to the warehouse to alert the refugees of trollmarket while Jim distracted the gumm gumms.

“We’ve been compromised! We must defend our ground!” Blinky screamed as he closed the door with the help of Y/n.

“Jim!” Y/n screamed.

The trollhunter slowly lifted himself from the ground after a gumm gumm threw him through a window.

“I’m okay” he stood tall and grabbed her sister’s hand “I’m okay”

“Trolls, stand with me! For tonight, we…” Blinky found himself alone when the gumm gumms opened the door.

“Whatever” said a troll before leaving.

Y/n took a deep breath and ran to a lead pipe that laid on the other side of the room. Avoiding big, rocky hands, she grabbed the pipe from the floor and started swinging, trying to take the attention away from Aaarrrgghh and Blinky that were taking the trolls to the swears.

“There’s too many of them!” Y/n screamed to anyone who’ll listen.

“If only I could use my staff” she thought.

“We have to get them all…” screamed back Jim.

Draal rolled in and pushed Jim to the floor:

“I told you this husk wouldn’t stop coming after you but you let Draal live. Now you will die!” Gunmar laughed through Draal’s body and attacked Jim, taking the fight outside.

“No” Y/n whispered and with all her anger, kicked the gumm gumm she had on top of her, killing it when it hit the wall.

Y/n got tired. She dropped the lead pipe and undrawed her staff, taking care of the rest of the gumm gumm with some magic and the sharp end of it.

“Are you coming or not?” Asked NotEnrique.

Y/n and Blinky looked at eachother.

“We have to help Jim” she answer

They ran outside and followed the sound of the struggle of battle , quickly finding Jim standing on top of cursed Draal with his sword in his hand ready to strike.

“Master Jim! Don’t do it!” Screamed Blinky

“Do it, trollhunter!” Taunted Bular “If you think your armor’s too much to shoulder today. I’ll make sure it’ll break you tomorrow! I found you once. I will find you again. Kill him”

“I’m the trollhunter” Jim reminded him.

“Master Jim, we must leave at once”

“You cannot escape me. I’ll find you” Gunmar screamed as Blinky and Jim started to walk out. Y/n stood there observing him for a moment. She remembers him as stuff of nightmares, as the thing that would lure in the shadow that would bring her to tears as a child but now? She feels pity. How many times is he going to fight a war he is going to lose? How many times is going to try to win a world that doesn’t want him?

“What do you want, witch?” He spits

“You haven’t learnt your lesson, haven’t you?”

⛵️ Five Fandoms, Five Ships ⛵

Get to know the blogger, via five different ships from five different fandoms!

Putting it under the cut because this is LONG, sorry.

I love them your honor. Doesn't even have to be romantic, I just want to see them being obsessed about each other. I'm also a pretty big obianidala fan, hence why I added her too. (I'm a multishipper really. I have my otp but there's a lot of ships that I enjoy)

1. Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker(/Padmé Amidala) (Star Wars)

When I first watched star wars (not that long ago, I only watched it because I wanted to see the sequels in theater lmao) I wasn't a big fan of the prequels so I mostly ignored them, but then a couple years ago I randomly rewatched them in the middle of the night and suddenly I was obsessed. I'm not even sure how I ended up on AO3 (did I go look for obikin? Did I stumble on it? Idk) but eventually I started reading Pining in Preschool, then realised that @palfriendpatine66 was on tumblr, I started interacting with more people around here, and now I'm (slowly) writing fics, and I'm having the time of my life here, so thanks Pal!

I don't think any if my past fandom brainrots reached my current level so I'm pretty sure I'm here for the long haul (at least it's not stopping anytime soon).

It's not super obvious here but I'm actually a huge Marvel fan (well, the MCU, I've never read a comic), and especially Captain America. Stucky is just, 🤌 so tasty (a lot of similarities with obikin actually imo). I'd like to talk to whoever thought "I'm with you 'til the end of the line" was a straight sentence to repeatedly say to your bro throughout an entire century though. Like?? I'm all for relationships that defy the boundaries of platonic and romantic, but still, that's kinda gay.

2. Steve Rogers/James "Bucky" Barnes(/Peggy Carter) (Marvel Cinematic Universe)

The first MCU movie I saw was actually captain america 2 (and not the first one lol) in theater, and I was instantly hooked, though since Endgame I've been less into it, since my fav is gone (and I have to agree with tumblr on that one: they're making too many movies and shows, I can't keep up 😩)

(And I'm still super salty about what they did to steve in canon, they should have killed him off instead of whatever the fuck that was, honestly)

I also added Peggy because she's great, and polyamory is so much better than love triangles or shipping wars. (I'm not polyamorous but I believe in their beliefs. I think it's because of the aromanticism)

Same as with obikin (and stucky too tbh) I don't really care how they love each other, I just care that they do. They're the most important person to each other, be it romantic, platonic, familial, idc.

3. John Watson/Sherlock Holmes (mostly BBC Sherlock, but from the RDJ movies and the books too)

I've obsessed over (non-existent) clues during the last season, and deluded myself into thinking they'd become canon, alas, it didn't happen.

I've translated a couple of fics in french for that ship, but I've never written for it (I thought about it tho), and I've read a lot. That's the fandom where I've read some of the best queerplatonic fics, and that's my favorite interpretation of the ship, especially sherlock being some flavor of aroace.

4. Aziraphale/Crowley (Good Omens)

I love them as a queerplatonic relationship, and I genuinely think that's what they are in canon, the haters can suck it, that's not queerbaiting even if they dont become a canon couple.

Okay, I'm starting to see a patern here. Am I really that predictable? You can just copy-past what I said above.

(I'm fully on board with them being a couple though)

Hey, a straight ship! With a woman not added as a second thought!

5. Elizabeth Bennet/Mr Darcy (Pride and Prejudice)

Not quite the same vibe as the others, but I've read sooo many fics and books (straight up published fics lol), I've watched a bunch of different adaptations (even the one with zombies)... The worst part is that I think I've only read the og book once, oops.

I actually inherited that fandom from the women in my family lmao. My mom, sister and sister-in-law are all obsessed with it, so I read it to see what all the fuss was about and, yeah, I get it.

And that's it! There are other fandoms I'm into, and other ships in those fandoms, but that's pretty much it (the main one that's missing is Dinluke, the others are mostly smaller ones).

I'm not super actively in those fandoms (apart from Star Wars obviously) but i come back to them now and then. Usually I re-watch it then binge-read a bunch of fics (while my main fandom stays in the main spot in my brain) then I let it go again until it comes back (while obikin still stays in the main spot).

Also Harry Potter used to be my main obsession but JKR kinda ruined that for me so I'm not really into it anymore (hence why I didn't list it even though I have written fics for it).

Anyway that was way too long, if you've read all of this then props to you!

I read this today and many thoughts came to mind so yeah this is another rambling.

'til this day I don't get over the fact that only last year we had the Last Season of The Owl House, the rushed end of one of the greatest series of the decade, that could have mark a new course for many series yet to come, the spiritual successor of another of the greatest series of all Gravity Falls.

The Owl House was released in 2020 just four years ago and it was cancelled in 2022, two years ago, presumable cause it had too much representation for Disney's taste.

This is obviousley not confirm, but everyone in the industry and Dana Terrace herself had made clear that this was the main reason.

All this just 2 years ago, many like to say we live in a time were LGBT+ community had all the representation they need, that everything is gay now days and and that this excess of representation is becoming tedious. And then this is a case from fucking 2 years ago.

It just so sickening, to think that yeah we have representation nowdays but it has to be a certain tipe of rep, it can not be too much, in the Owl House I think there was just one straight couple in the main cast, it has not to be too on the nose, gods forbid for the main character to be gay, lesbian, bi or the non existent trans representation, and it cannot be normal, if you are gay it has to be your main trait, your whole life, you have to have like many crisis as you can and have a whole out of the closet episode, it has to be the revelation of the century.

I still remeber Alex Hirsch puteando a Disney cause they didn't let him do many things he wanted with his own serie, among them the relationship betweenm the two town sheriffs, one of the cutest things in the show, and very funny too.

Alex Hirsch has always been very vocal about he's own despite for Disney as a creator that work for them. And thats why I love him.

I still remeber cartoon network forbidding Rebecca Sugar to say that the Gems were womans, cause that would imply that all the gems were lesbians and that was a totally No No for fricking Cartoon Network, the one everyone point when saying is only Disney the non inclusive one.

(why they never bring this back? what is wrong with Steven Universe?)

Though this end like a tiro en la culata which means backfire cause suddenly the gems were non binary or no gender which was fricking funny cause even more hard to explain XD

This also happened with Adventure Time, another Cartoon serie, were everyone was lost whith the Bublegum and Marcy kiss in the last episode, cause we were told they had a relationship in fricking Season 3 but no, they didn't tell explicitly that they were in a romantic relationship, cause you know... lesbian equal bad.

Their relationship keep getting explore and we had amazing episodes with this two navigating their feelings for each other, the past mistakes in their relationship and how to become better together. But all this while not telling us that they love each other, cause they weren't allow to tell us.

This is merely frustration on my part, I know we have better represantation nowdays, but... is not nearly enough, like I said, theres still close to non rep for ace or trans people, bisexual are getting better, though the rep still is plagued of horrible stereotype and fetization, but this is something lesbian and gays can have manage to avoid yet so what we expect.

So yeah we should celebrate our representation, and not let anyone tell us that is enough or too much, cause til this day the best ace representation I have seen comes from Todd from Bojack Horseman a serie from 2014 that ended in 2020, that set the bar and none had even try to fight, I hope Alastor become a better rep in this front, I really hope so. Lilith made an absolute great work, but sadley cause the serie was cut out we missed a lot of this character T^T

And Im not gonna talk about trans rep cause that's just sad.

I will always hold resentment to Disney cause of what they did to the Owl House, for sure, that something I hold near my heart everyday.

So yeah I totally use this persons post to talk about me me me, and I dont know them so prefer not to involve them in this.

I still think that post-season 3, Stiles should’ve gotten all sorts of little leftovers from the Nogitsune and been deeply unsettling, mostly for angsty reasons and also I cannot believe that everyone moved on perfectly fine after seeing their friend’s body crumble to dust in front of them and having their possessed friend as an enemy for a while before, but also because there is potential comedy of a visiting wolf/other supernatural person meeting everyone and then meeting Stiles, deeply unsettling and not quite breathing and still paler than he was pre-Nogitsune, playing a game of Go with Kira in a new interest that makes everyone else nauseous to think of the origins of, and going “what the hell is that?” The Beacon Hills gang, who’ve mostly adjusted to this by now, say that’s Stiles, he’s their friend. So there’s a banshee, a bunch of werewolves who apparently do not feel their skin crawl around their friend, maybe some Chimeras depending on if season 5 has happened, and the creepiest person in town, who is normally not doing anything particularly jarring but still makes people uncomfortable for no reason anyone can see. I think it would be a little funny after a while to watch new people meet Stiles and everyone else has either adjusted to this being their reality, did not know Stiles before everything, or is pretending to deal à la fake it til you make it, so they’re all “bro that’s just Stiles, calm down.” But I think there should also be angst throughout still, where they can remember a time when Stiles didn’t elicit this reaction or they think of when they had this reaction to him (Liam thought Stiles was the weird friend of his lacrosse captain who he vaguely recalls went missing once pre-bite, then had to resist the urge to shudder whenever he saw Stiles after his bite until he adjusted)

Oh, they dropped the ball hard with this one. They should've committed to being part "horror" TV show. Stiles could've had the ultimate uncanny valley effect - and it would've been even better if Stiles were aware of it.

But, you know, he tries to act like his normal self - hyper, loud, talks a lot. But then there are these moments where he forgets or doesn't have the energy, so he just doesn't move and he's just staring at them. Everyone is always super unsettled when that happens. His friends know that, technically, Stiles isn't a danger to him, but they can't help but be creeped out by that. People who don't know Stiles simply go "nope" and decide to turn the other way. Other packs are on high alert when the news spread, a human surviving a nogitsune? That doesn't sound right.

So they kind of want to snoop around. They see Stiles, and he looks like a gust of wind might break him apart, but there is something about him that's just not quite right. Nobody can put a finger on it, and they decide to leave them alone. It's better that way.

And Stiles is fully aware of all of that. Of fucking course, he uses it to his advantage. His intuition has always been spot on when it came to people. I mean, he even noticed that something was wrong with Matt. But like, thanks to the nogitsune it's not just his instincts anymore. Chaos, strife, pain. He gets a whiff of anything shady, and he's just... going full Derek, creeping around in the shadows, not even trying to hide that he's stalking them.

Everyone leaves. Nobody wants to fuck around and find out. Beacon Hills has never been this peaceful.

Smut Warning

A couple weeks go by and Quinn and I have started texting more regularly and hanging out a bit more. Deep down I know this isn’t going to end well, he left us. Why wouldn’t he do it again? Even though we are “just friends”, being around him builds anticipation that something might happen between us. I can’t talk about another heartbreak but he keeps pushing himself back in.

I’m currently cooking dinner when I hear my phone ring on the island behind me, I turn to see Quinn’s contact so I answer.

“What’s up? I say into my phone a little confused as to why he is calling me.

“Hey, I’m in the neighborhood and figured I’d see if you wanna drive around or something”

“I’m actually cooking supper right now, but um- i guess you could come up if you’re hungry” I say questioned why I wouldn’t just say ‘no I’m busy’.

“Starving, be right there” he says hanging his phone up.

I sigh before turning to continue to cook dinner. I heard a knock at the door about 10 minutes later just as I finished tossing the salad. I set the bowl down and make my way over to open the front door. Quinn appears on the other side of the door and I move out of the way and greet him before entering.

“Sit, I’ll get the food” I say as I make my way back over to the counter

“Do you want any help?” he says watching me plate the salad on a plate beside a chicken breast

“Here come take these to the table for me” I say and Quinn makes his way over to grab the two plates before setting them both on the table as I am reaching for the wine glasses. When I finally get them I get a bottle of white wine and bring everything to the table. I set the glasses down first by each of our plates and uncork the new bottle.

“Wine?” I ask and Quinn nods pushing the glass back towards me on the table. I fill it to the quarter point before turning and filling it to half. I set the bottle back on the table as I take my seat across from Quinn.

“So how’s Josh?” I ask as we eat our supper

“He is in Ottawa right now, he is out for the rest of the season. Shoulder again” Quinn answers

“Poor Josh” I say sadly, “is he getting surgery again?”

“Yeah, guy can’t catch a break”

“Are you and Hanna still friends?” he asks

“Not as close, we just lost touch. Started acting weird a couple months before I moved here actually then we just kinda lost touch” I say as Quinn reaches over to pour more wine into his glass, he tilts the top of the bottle pointing at my glass

“Want me to top you up?” he asks and I nod.

Before long I find myself getting up to grab a new bottle of wine. I come back, topping both glasses up before sitting back down. As the night goes on and the more the drink, the more we laugh. Quinn is now sitting in the chair beside me as we laugh and talk about everything. When it finally became quiet, sadness suddenly hit me. I look down and see Quinn’s hand resting on my knee as he looks at me.

I stand up grabbing the plates and two glasses and bring them to the kitchen. I put them in the sink then grab both sides of the dishwasher. I wasn’t typically a sad drunk but tonight I was. I dropped my head so I was looking down into the sink.

“Y/n?” I hear Quinn say behind me as he gently rests a hand on my back

“Quinn, I think you should go” I say turning to face him as he continues to stand there with his hand on my back, “Quinn, please”

“You don’t trust me?” he asks

“How could I?” I say. Before he could say anything else I continued, “It hurt me Quinn, but being your friend hurts more. We should just go back to the way things were when you had no idea I was in Vancouver”

“No, I want you in my life”

“Quinn, this is killing me” I say as I let a tear fall from my eye, “I can’t just be friends!”

Quinn makes his way to the door then grabs his coat draping around his arm, I follow him as he opens the door. I turn as the door starts to shut but instead of the click of the door hitting the frame, I hear it swing back open. I turn to see Quinn walking over to me, swinging the door shut behind him. “Quinn-” I start but his lips press hard onto mine as he continues walking, backing me against the wall. I begin to kiss him back, wrapping my arms over his shoulders as it gets deeper and deeper.

His hands trail down my back to my ass, squeezing it hard. He bends a little, placing his hands on my upper thighs right under my ass pushing upwards. I took the hint so I pulled away and jumped up wrapping my legs around his waist. He reconnected our lips, smashing my back, back against the wall. We begin making out until I pull away, “2 door on the left” I breath into his mouth keeping my eyes closed as he reconnects our lips again as he walks us down the hall.

We make it to my bedroom and he shuts the door behind him setting me down on my feet, taking his shirt off before taking mine off. He pushes me against the door and begins making out with me as he unbuttons his pants, kicking them off and I reach behind me to unclasp my bra, shimmying off so it slides down my arms. He pulls away looking down at my body admiring it before grabbing my boobs each in one of his hands, he messages them before bringing his mouth down gently sucking on one. I throw my head back when he squeezes them hard, nibbling my nipple, breathing out loudly before he pulls away.

“I fucking love you” he says lifting me up bringing me over to the bed laying me down. He slides his briefs down his legs and pumps himself looking at me naked on the bed. I decide to give him a little show so I start playing with my boobs watching as he pumps himself faster before tracing one hand down to my panties rubbing my clit over them in circles. “Fuck!” he groans before making his way over to me.

He crawls overtop of me and rips my panties off me without warning then jams two fingers inside of me pumping them in and out suddenly as I push my bed back deeper into the bed. He starts curling his finger and I bite my lip masking the moans the escape my mouth.

He pulls them out and kneels down so he is facing my entrance kissing my clit then blowing on it causing me to whimper out just as he enters his tongue inside of me flicking and pumping it around and inside of me. I arch my back a little then reach down grabbing Quinn’s hair, “So good, Quinn”.

When Quinn pulls away he immediately crawls up so he is hovering over me, with one hand he pumps himself as I wrap my arms around his abdomen before entering himself inside of me. He slides in slowly and begins to thrust, slowly picking up speed. I moan out loudly the faster he pumps. “Fuck, I love you” he says giving me butterflies as he thrusts get harder as he begins to ram himself inside of me full force. With every thrust inside of me he earns a loud whimper. “I’m not leaving” , “I’m so in love with you”, “You are so fucking beautiful” he says between his slow hard thrusts. I feel him pull out of me grabbing my ripping panties off the floor while pumping himself before cumming on them. He throws them out and I go to the bathroom, turning the shower on.

I step inside the shower and hear the rattle from the curtain being pulled from side to side before feeling Quinn’s strong arms wrap around my waist. He nuzzles his head into the crook of my neck, kissing it softly as I turn around. He moves his arms so they are draped over my shoulders as I wrap mine around his waist. He kisses the top of my head while we are standing in each other's embrace in the shower. “I meant it” he says against the top of me head

“Hm?”

“I do love you, with all my heart” I move my head back a little so I can look up at him, “I really fucked up, and I regret it everyday. You are right though, we can’t be friends. Because I love you so much it hurts. And when I look at you it makes me want to try harder to be here for you, to try and fix the pain I put you though” he says and I rest my head on his shoulder before for a second before pulling away to look at him again

“I love you Quinn” I say then he smiles down at me slightly before pressing his lips to mine.

After we leave the shower and enter my room again Quinn puts his clothes back on then begins to scroll through his phone, “Oh shit” I hear him say making me turn to look at him. “I’m so sorry but I have to go” Quinn says, turning quickly to leave me here alone, again. Not even a goodbye or a pause to listen for my response.

Happy #AudioDramaSunday wanderers! This was a GREAT week for podcasts and we're gonna start with the public release of @souloperatorpod episode 1. I'm so obsessed with this show already. Tot has done a phenomenal job and I'm ready for this show to break me <3

I finished season 3 of the @thenightpost and my gods the heartbreaking ride this took me on Val and Clem *finally* getting together in the face of the smallest bit of hope but the hope can't last and it makes me cry. Same with Milo and Ashley they were *so close* but it can't last

@tellnotalespod came back this week and episode 1 of the season was *wonderful* and also hurt me so bad. Leo is in their self destructive era and I'm worried for them after only one ep of the season please Leanne just let them be okay they need their friends back

@eelerschoice bloopers were absolutely delightful. Daisy McNamara has apologized for nothing nor should he. She has given us a gift with these bloopers

@woebegonepod continues to astound and also stress me out so much each week its just so fucking good. This week was especially unsettling with things going spooky at every turn gods yall just have to listen to wbg it's so important. Also the song this week? Absolutely gorgeous

New @somewhereohio was a mix of making me laugh and squeezing my heart til it popped. Sterling and Green make me feel so many emotions and all of them end up hurting me. Also im obsessed with Orange and yes I'm biased because it's Cody Heath but I'm RIGHT they're spectacular

The Grotto had their midseason finale this week and it hurt me SO BAD!!! Athan is doing incredible things with this show and it is going to break me. If yall aren't listening to The Grotto you GOTTA the first 4 eps are out now and you'll be blown away I swear

@thesiltverses came back swinging in the most spectacular way. I adore how this show utilizes religion and the different sides of it we see. I'm also incredibly worried about both Val and Paige. Val fascinates and will do terrible things while terrible things will happen to Paige

The @kingmakerpod also came back this week and everyone's favorite wet cat Leonid is back and being just as pathetic as usual. I laughed, I gasped, I wondered if the show would just let Leonid die. The Kingmaker Histories is so wonderful and fun and everyone should listen

Once I finished The Night Post, I started my next long-term listen which is The Storage Papers! I'm 10 episodes in and absolutely adoring it Jeremy Enfinger is an excellent narrator and the story has been incredibly captivating I can't wait to dive further in

I saw 10 of the new shows this year (3 Revivals and 7 New Musicals). So I decided to rate and rank them:

1 - Suffs 10/10 - What an incredible show! Such a talented cast and I want the soundtrack immediately! I had tears streaming down my face at the end of both acts. Shaina Taub and Hannah Cruz are particularly great. And Grace McLean as Pres Wilson is hilarious. The set is excellently done to evoke the locales and move things along. Strong direction all the way. My pick for Best Musical.

2 - Water For Elephants 9.5/10 - amazing cast; should get an award for ensemble; nice use of puppets - Rosie reveal was perfect. Grant was incredible as was August. Went up in rank as the week went on because the music really stuck with me and I wanted to hear it again.

3 - Outsiders 9//10 - loved the choreo. Ponyboy is great. The gravel stage and flashlights were particularly effective. Best lighting design and use of rain

4 - Merrily We Roll Along 8.5/10 - was slightly concerned by Groff’s flat affect in first scene until it became clear it was a choice as he became more vibrant as time moved back. Daniel was perfect and the friendship between the 3 leads really came through. His Franklin Shepherd Inc is worth the Tony on its own. I can only assume I was supposed to hate Gussie because I totally did.

5 - Cabaret 8/10 - confession: I had never seen Cabaret in any form and I didn’t research the plot so I had no idea what was happening between the KitKat numbers. Really good production- excellent staging, never felt left out in the round. Eddie Redmayne was creepily intriguing. Sally seemed more broken than I would have thought from hearing songs from previous productions. Dark and moody; not a huge fan of the immersive preshow. No program pic bc they covered all phone cameras with stickers on the way in (before giving us a shot of really bad schnapps)

6 - The Wiz 8/10 - bright and fun! Excellent performances especially the 4 leads. LOVE the Lion. Costumes are gorgeous and the dancing is fabulous. Does Wayne Brady have to be there the whole show since he’s not on til Act 2?

7 - Gatsby 8/10 - bubbly and fun; loved the opulence of set & costumes; great dancing and some really good songs; loved Jeremy Jordan’s Gatsby - the insecurities coming through the glam

8 - Notebook 7.5/10 - Heartbreaking performance by Old Allie especially. What is with that water on stage this year?

9 - Hells Kitchen 7/10 - great dancing. Lead actress was great but maybe im too old to identify with her instead of her mother. Again with death of a supporting character.

10 - Back To The Future 7/10 - Roger Bart is hilarious - definitely the reason to see the show. Set was actually a little underwhelming - too much reliance on projections. Some fun numbers but no real standouts.

Overall: no shows I disliked this time. VERY strong season. Some really creative use/resuses of minimalistic elements this season. Other season trends: full size cars and actual rain. And death - so much death
