Appearance: Tyler's appearance is reminiscent of a deathhead moth. He is 9ft tall, somewhat slender, and has sharp, angular features. His skin is greyish, and he has an extra set of arms just above his hips. His hands, forearms, and lower legs are a dark brown, almost black colour, while the upper parts of his arms and legs are grey. On his face, he has a skull design, and his eyes are fully black with no pupils or irises. However, when he experiences high amounts of certain emotions, his eyes develop yellowish, almost white pupils. The inside of his mouth is dark grey, and he has cream, almost white, sharp teeth and a long, pointed yellow tongue. Tyler has short brown hair with two fluffy, feather-like antennae consisting of different shades of grey, dark brown, and yellow. Around his neck and chest, he wears a fluffy boa-like fur consisting of dark browns and yellows. His wings are similar to those of a real deathhead moth, with a colour scheme that is mostly dark browns, greys, yellows, and creams. The edges of his wings are furry, while the inside of the wing is mostly yellow and usually wrapped around his body like a coat or cloak. He can choose to wear them or not.

Outfits: Tyler’s preference of clothing usually consists of a mix between old Victorian and dark academia-like styles but he does have 2 main outfits that he likes to parade around hell in. Outfit 1 consists of his signature wings/cloak along with a greyish blue button-up long-sleeve shirt, a yellow and black vest, a satin neck scarf, a matching suit, pants and black formal shoes he occasionally wears a grey top hat with moss and bones. Outfit 2 consists of a black long-sleeve tunic with frills along the neckline, a tail coat that kind of resembles his wings, dark brown pants and brown formal shoes. He also wears 1930 burlesque-type clothing for when he performs at Shadowplay.

Personality: Tyler is the epitome of charm and charisma. He can captivate anyone with his smooth words and seductive demeanour. He is also very eloquent and sophisticated, which adds to his mysterious and alluring aura. He sees himself as a homme fatale, using his charm and seduction to get what he wants. However, he is also fiercely loyal to those he cares about and will do anything to protect them.

Occupation: Other than being a loa spirit for the humans he is also the owner of a very successful 1900-themed burlesque club called Shadowplay Speakeasy which is always hidden and changing location throughout the many alleyways across Hell’s different rings. The reason for this was he wanted to create a place where sinners and hellebores could come for the amazing drinks, music, performances, aesthetics and overall appreciation of how he helps out his employees and clients that use Shadowplay as a type of sanctuary to get away from being exploited and abused by demons like Valentino. which is how he would later come to know Angel Dust. Tyler does a variety of different performances including drag shows on occasion and sometimes performs at Ozzie’s when he visits the lust ring. When he performs he goes by either Lady or Pidge which is his more feminine side and later on would take the name Maman of Shadows since he was known to take in demons and sinners and would act like a sort of maternal figure to them.

Abilities and Skillsets

Umbrakinesis: Tyler can conjure and create shadow spirits since he had become very good friends with them some of his creations include Wybie (Tyler’s right-hand guy and personal Shadow), Alastor Shadows (created for him after he arrived in hell when Tyler decided to mentor him), Creeper (one of the many spies that take on different animal forms) and Winifred (who acts as his therapist). He is also able to physically touch and feel them without going straight through their forms. He can also sense if someone may have the potential to harness Shadows.

Portal Creation: Tyler can create portals to transport him around the many rings of hell but only if there is a shadow. being the loa of death he is the master of cemeteries and the guardian between the world of the dead and the living meaning he can create a portal to earth by either alter or someone that passed and acts as a guide. His vèvè depicts a tomb with a cross and two coffins, symbolising death.

Demon Transformation: His demonic form is a more skeletal type with his body being more sharp and angular in some places making him incredibly lanky (kind of like the other mother’s last form from Coraline as well as the Wendigo from until dawn) his eyes are more hollow showcasing no shine or glint. At the corners of his mouth are stitches that make him smile showcasing sharp jagged teeth for his hands they become longer and sharper like razorblades if you are in the same room you will be able to hear a thousand different voices and screams from his shadows.

Telekinesis/Technokinesis: With a click of his fingers he can change channels either on radios or TVs and is also able to flick on lights.

Summoning: Tyler can summon/manifest everyday objects.

Near-Invulnerability: Tyler is generally immune to anything that would kill most sinners and hellborns but can still be killed by an angelic weapon.

Bilingualism: Other than English he is also fluent in Cajun French cause of his ties mostly with New Orleanians as a loa spirit and would occasionally visit topside during 1700-1800.

Tarot Reading: Tyler knows his way around of deck of tarot cards and does readings at Shadowplay for small favours in return.

Law seemed to be in the far side of the beach doing who knows what, he didn't seem to be alone though. Hmm? What about you? Well you found a shaded area to lay your beach chair. With all the love for your Ball Pythons, Short-Tail Python, and Hognoses recently, can we get a Corn Snake and Boa Constrictor check-in?

Have I ever introduced you all to my big buddy Bentley? He's the sweetest boa constrictor to have ever lived, he's one of my first ambassadors.

I adopted Bentley when he was surrendered to a rescue I partnered with, he was already an adult by then. This is the first picture I ever took of him, and I don't think they even had time to post it on their website before I filled out his adoption paperwork! Even back then he was just such a sweetheart, he was one of my first rescues and he's been such a good friend through the years.

I honestly don't have a lot of pictures of him where he's not either actively on my face (he likes to try and fit all eight feet of himself onto my glasses) or with kids during programs, but he's the best. He's pushing 20 years old now and isn't even thinking about slowing down!!

Best part about him: his mustache has been getting bigger with age.

In the spirit of Halloween, I thought it would be fun to post an old AU that I was inspired to make before S3 aired based off the ragtag group that is the Coven Heads.

So before Thanks to Them aired, I got the wildest thought on a possible "What If" about the fate of the Coven Heads with The Collector being freed. Long story short, thought it would be a cruel twist of fate if they ended up cursed like Eda because The Collector, going to call them T.C. for now, wanted to make them more "fun" for the "Owl House" game.

Essential, when the kids came back they ended up going to Eda place and are ambushed by a fully Cursed Raine which. After Luz finds one of Eda potions still hidden in the house, Raine tells them what happened while they were gone. One resolution battle later with T.C. and Belos, it's now up to the kids to find the other heads and change them back cause, per Eda, no one deserves to lived trapped in their own bodies.

Half a season worth of adventures later to find and revert the heads back to their original forms, with no cure for being cursed discovered yet despite T.C. powers, Eda and Lilith takes it upon themselves to teach them how to lived their new lives.

Some rough sketches of what their "hybrid" forms look like once they harmonized with their curse beasts.

Raine curse beast is a "vampire" bat and the kids find them in Eda place cause they sought out a place of safety after transforming. Their compromise with the beast is to drink blood every so often, much to their disgust. Is granted night vision and flight when in hybrid form.

Darius curse beast is a kraken and the kids find them in the sea. Refused to fight Hunter, so the kids used that to their advantage to defeat them. Their compromise with the beast is to do long soaks in sea water, to his annoyance cause "sea water is horrible for his skin". Is granted the ability to breath under water and a octopus ability to squeeze into small places.

Eberwolf curse beast is a manticore and was found near Darius cause, despite being lost in their own mind they still sought out their friend/brother. Was the fastest to compromise with their curse cause they didn't mind eating raw meat. Is granted a prehensile "leech tail, alongside increased strength and speed in their hybrid form.

Adrian curse beast is a spynx and the kids find him in an abandoned theater/castle since some part of him still wanted to be near civilization. The only head who has a beast who the kids can understand in full curse form. Takes the longest to compromise with their beast cause they both have massive ego's, and the fact that Adrian does not want to read a whole philosopher book or eat rats. Is granted flight and increased cat like reflexes.

Terra curse beast is a giant snake, and the kids find her in an overgrown forest caused by her magic still being "active". Her compromise with the beast is to eat live animals and daily sunbathing. Her hybrid form turns her into a Lamia similar to a boa constrictor.

Vitimir curse beast is a mosquito/dragon hybrid and is found buzzing around a cliff face where Hettie curse form also resided. Their compromised with their cursed beast is to drink blood. Their hybrid form grants them flight, a needle tongue, and the ability to store liquids in a "throat sack" that they then can use to spray people with boiling/noxious liquids.

Hettie curse beast is a minotaur and is found in a cave on a cliff. Her compromised involved her eating raw meat. Her hybrid form grants her increase strength and improved sense of hearing and smell.

Mason curse beast is a lava golem and is found in a basin where they were literally melting the surrounding area where they walked. Matt and Steve have to help turn him back to normal. His compromise with his beast is to eat rocks/stones and sunbathing. His hybrid forms allows him to manipulate heat and create magma from the rocks he consumes.

Osran curse beast form is a giant spider and is found deep in a cave. His compromised with his beasts involves eating insects. His hybrid forms grants extra mobility, armor like chitin, web making from his snot (much to his chagrin), and improved night vision.

Part One

The ada who opened the door wore nothing but a barely knee-length bathrobe and a pink boa. Luckily, he had enough thick gray fur, meticulously brushed and fluffed, that Maeve didn't feel quite so much like she was staring at a bare chest. His ears were like a jackal's, very long and pointed, only varying in their curled tips, but that was where the canine features ended: flat face, coonish paws, and no tail that she could see. And she was staring. Stupid. She couldn't just stare people up and down like pieces of...

Her gaze froze halfway toward the ground.

Cradled in the plush crook of one arm, so bundled he camouflaged in the fur and fabric, was her baby.

"Dio!" the ada said brightly, eyes fixing on the Dionyus.

"Finch!" Maeve cried simultaneously.

The ada's attention shifted onto her, flashing a smile full of short sharp teeth. "Oh, are you mum?" He adjusted Finch's weight in both hands to hold him out to her.

Maeve made no hesitation to pull him into her own arms, giving him a quick once-over.

The ada leaned forward, the scent of cinnamon wafting off his robe.

"He had an itty bitty little raw spot on his nose," he said, pointing a clawed finger, "but I spread lemon balm on it and since then he's been sleeping like a dream. You're different than I was expecting. Dio did say human, but he described you smaller and more deadish, but looking at you right now, you're quite lively. I can see it in the eyes, baby's got your eyes, lucky eh? I read that eyes are a person's most important feature because they're so central. They often carry the weight of a first impression. Speaking of, maybe you'd like some lemon balm with you for your own raw spots? I have lots and lots so if you'd like a jar, feel free to take one."

"Flor," said Dionyus, promptly stopping the other ada from finding another topic. "This is Maeve. Maeve this is Flor."

"Yes! Do come in!"

"We just came to pick up--" Dionyus started, but Flor was already starting back into the sitting room.

"So what is a human doing all the way out here at the wall? Sorry, silly question, it's obvious why. What's baby's name?"

Maeve glanced at Dionyus, ignoring his shaking head as she stepped after him. "Finch."

"How adorable. It really suits. Tea? I just heated some water."

Maeve blinked. A week ago she was isolated and fleeing for her life, yesterday she was trying to live just long enough to deliver Finch to safety, and now, an ada in a bathrobe--the third ada she'd ever properly met--was offering her tea. It was such a strange turn of events she could barely get out more than, "Er...I..well...I suppose?"

"Excellent! Dio?"

"As long as it's not any of your homemade blends."

Maeve startled to find the dark ada over her shoulder. So he'd followed her after all.

Flor let out a gentle huff as he bent for the teapot. Turned out he did have a tail, bobbed and only just peeking from his robe. "You know, Saren likes my blends. He uses them to stay alert on tower duty. You'd get used to them if you drank them enough. But alright, I won't force you. What sounds better ginger lemongrass or hibiscus blossom? " His tail flicked as he talked, lifting the hem of his robe.

"Flor, shouldn't you put something on?"

"Hm?" Flor glanced back at Dionyus with oblivious gray eyes. "No, I'm fine."

"I didn't mean for you."

"Ohhh." Flor smirked. He grabbed both tea boxes, hooking a couple teacups on his fingertips along the way, and balanced everything stressfully, but surprisingly well to the sitting table, plopping to the couch with a pof! of overstuffed cushions. He looked at Maeve as if imparting a secret. A particularly silly one. "Dio is shy. He never undressed in front of anyone the entire time we were in academy. He always arrived extra early. If we had a surprise drill, he waited until the armory was empty no matter the punishment for lateness."

"I'm not shy." Dionyus's feathers raised a fraction poking out like quills. "I'm simply not shameless like you."

Flor laughed, but ultimately ignored the hint, measuring out the herbs into a strainer over the first cup.

Maeve watched his nimble movements with lip-parted awe. She'd never seen an ada so comfortable in his own skin. Magnum had always seemed half-ready to climb out of his.

And she was staring again.

She shook herself. "Um...he--" Maeve nodded in Dionyus's direction, unable to bring herself to say his name like someone familiar and not a stranger only a few sentences deep into acquaintanceship. "--said you know a lot about children. Do you have your own?"

"Aw, Dio!"

"I never said a lot. I said more."

"Coming from you, that's still a compliment." Then to Maeve. "Short answer, no. But I am a chirr."

"A...chir?"

"Yeah, it's the type of ada I am."

"There are types?"

"Of course," Dionyus said. "We may look jumbled to you, but it's not like we turn out by chance."

"And how am I supposed to know that?" Maeve snapped. "By absorbing knowledge through mere presence?"

Dionyus glared but Flor continued cheerily as if the exchange hadn't happened.

"Dio is a shadowghast; if I may be so bold, Finch looks wolfbane. There many many types of adas, and despite what Dio said, we can get rather jumbled if types intercross, but most tend to stick to their own. You see, we all do things a little differently, so it's ideal to find a partner who shares those practices."

"Humans do that too," Maeve said. She stroked her fingertip down Finch's snout--smiling at his tiny yawn--perfectly aware of how she had not. She'd probably gone as far from familiar as she could go. The village called her a witch. Others a demoness. Her family favored the side of "broken-minded."

"For instance," Flor launched, passing a finished, floral-scented cup toward Maeve. "For chirr's, babies are a boy thing. We raise the kids and the mums do that hunting thing. Better because they've got us surpassed in size and teeth. Anyway, I grew up with lots of siblings so I've got lots and lots of experience. No mate yet, fingers crossed, but if you wouldn't mind putting in a good word for me around town that I'm very baby prepared?"

"She's not staying."

Maeve and Flor turned toward Dionyus together.

"She's not?"

"I'm not?"

Dionyus's feathered were straight up now, tufted ears flared and flattened. His long tufted tail lashed the floor. "Of course not! This is the Wall, specifically designed to keep humans out. She's lucky I even brought her this far, imagine the chaos if the inner city found out."

Panic crawled up Maeves throat, but she swallowed it hard before it could turn audible. Instead it writhed like snakes in her stomach. She'd done everything, risked everything, to get here. The trip had only proven what she already knew, there was no place for ada on her side of the wall. Not as equals anyway. And she didn't know if she could do isolation again after Magnum... Looking over her shoulder all the time, spooking at every sound, raising Finch afraid and hidden.

"Then what am I supposed to do?" she said.

"Leave."

"She can't do that!" Flor said for her. "She has a baby!"

"Finch can easily be set up in a wolfbane family. They're all about taking in strays. He'll be healthy and happy and--"

"I'm not leaving him." Maeve growled it, eliciting a small, sleeping cry from Finch as she held him tighter. "I didn't intend to live this long, but if I've made it this far, I'm seeing it through. I'm not just abandoning my son to a bunch of random creat-- adas. I'm especially not entrusting him to big, black feather duster who only helps as far as it's comfortable."

Dionyus shot upright, sloshing tea over the rim of Maeve's teacup as he hit the table. "You and your mutant child are none of my business. I did a good deed bringing you here, a far better deed than almost anyone else here would have offered you. Now, an ugly, bald-faced human isn't going to go unnoticed for long, so you're going to make a decision: leave the child as you intended or go together."

"Neither. You're just going to have to live with seeing my ugly bald face around town. I'm staying, and you can't make me go."

Dionyus scoffed. "How quaint. You think I'm what's denying you access? I'm a soldier. This is a council-level inquiry, and you'll never reach the building let alone get an audience."

Maeve glanced at Flor for clarification. The ada's long ears had gone sideways and he scrunched a little in his seat.

"The council are judges," he said quietly. "The big law deciders of the wall. Anything big questions are brought to them. They're located in the seat. That's in the center of the beyond, in the inner cities. Humans...technically aren't allowed."

"And I'm not vouching for you," Dionyus said.

Maeve stood abruptly, glaring firmly into the dark ada's narrowed eyes. "Then I'll talk to the council myself."
