Anyways hellooooo there! Im Klefiki (friends call me Kiwi) and I write a fun lil fic called "Star Crossed Souls"

Its a slowburn and soulmate au fic where shits abt to start going very wrong very fast, there will be simping from the robots and also the afton virus breaking out! Feel free to ask me stuff abt it (its posted on ao3 )

The newly rebuilt megaplex with a larger layout, more attractions, and more animatronics had a programming error the first day. Locking all guests and staff inside. The animatronics infected with an odd virus have been killing guests left and right when our party find themselves running into eacother as a ragtag group of survivors! Something in the building is canceling communications, but not all animatronics are fully infected quite yet. Can they save them?

Shelter means family is a post apocalyptic au where reader snuck into the plex and lived there w/o being caught for a while! They learn to trust and all that but its written as crack taken seriously! The afton virus rears its head as the world begins to heal, and it turns out the virus was the cause of the world going bad in the first place. It cajt damage the world anymore but it tries to damage the found family. Also its a sun and moon x readerbut the relationship isnt the main focus? Reader finding a place they belong is

Something borrowed, Something taken is a kinda repo the genetic opera mixed w the cartoon mo ir robots, people buy or rebt mechanical parts for themselves, they get warranties and upgrades out of fear of being left behind to rot. If your mechanical bits get extremely damaged theyre five times as expensive to repair bc they KNOW youre depserate. Reader (AT HUGE RISK TO THEMSELVES) pretends their tablet glitches out and crashes when trying to input things for "repair" and either charged nothing or a really reasonable price. This does indeed come back to bite them in the ass.

when toshiro got on laios ass for being inconsiderate and never thinking about how his actions affect others like he was mean abt it but hes not wrong. Thats a pretty major character flaw and a pattern of behavior for laios — w not choosing jobs that made money for namari who is in a pretty dire financial situation where she cant even get off the island and has to go adventuring in the dungeon to get out of debt, who even explicitly brought this up, eating marcilles familiar immediately even tho she was attached to it, kidnapping shuro into his party and putting him in life threatening situations without like really checking he wanted to be there…?, wanting to see if izutsumi has more than one set of nipples when dehumanization is a HUGE huge issue for her the list goes on and on and on. Like when a friend does this to you its just kinda annoying but when ur the leader u really should be checking if everyones needs r met without them telling u. Like the autism plays a factor for sure, his cultural upbringing plays a factor for sure, but as ppl regardless I think u gotta step up to meet the needs of ppl in the moment or realize u shouldnt be calling the shots. just bc its influenced by factors out of ur control does not make it not a serious character flaw. And its written as such in the story.

The opening of Grey Shelter is beautiful. It's perfectly melancholy and angsty for what is going to be a painful series.

This series looks a huge departure from the cute and fluffy kbls I've grown accustomed to lately. There is so much pain and trauma surrounding the two leads. One has so much anger and resentment, and the other is trying his best while dealing with his own shit and is so so tired. Lots of misunderstandings and angst incoming. I'm enjoying this series so far but the timeline jumping back the forth between the present and the past can get a bit confusing at times. With these kinds of painful, angsty series, I wonder if i should wait until all episodes are out before I finish so I don't have to feel sad and tortured for a week after every episode.

When Misty came to work with me last weekend, a man came in to collect the money for a local dog rescue. And he asked me if she was a rescue then continued the conversation into older people should adopt old rescue dogs because if they get a young dog from a breeder, the dog will have nowhere to go if they pass before the dog and the family can't take the dog/doesn't want it... And I was just like. If I weren't on the clock right now, I'd at the very least have said that any good breeder would take the dog back... He even directly asked me, "what would happen to your beautiful designer dog if something happened to you and your partner?" I had to bite my tongue so hard.

AKSGWKRVIE SHELTER MEANS FAMILY IS THE LESS ANGSTY OF THE TWO BUT

Its a post apocalyptic fic idea! Reader stumbles into the plex (which is in decent ish condition for the wasteland) and decides to stay there until the sun sets!

The sun is incredibly dangerous in this, as the earth has next to no protection from it in the atmosphere anymore. Additionally the sky is normally a greesnish color, and clouds are always a dark grey bc they collect the ash in the air

The waters all polluted, nothing grows outside of greenhouses and if the wrong person finds out you have one its destroyed.

So reader tm (I wanna call em Dusty, Rusty, or Comet bc nicknames give me life) gets into the plex and finds out that there are working animatronics in there, and these animatronics havent seen a human other than gregory in like. A shit ton of years.

The world "ended" when gregory was about 11 and hes in his 80s now, inside the plex

They have a kinda garden goin in there, some animals, aaannnnndddd reader who lives in hiding and no one knows theyre there until chica catches them eating out of the trash

They stare at eachother a minute and then Chica yells for freddy, and reader immediately scrambles into the vents and makes their escape

But now everyone is looking for them

They are eventually caught and they explain that they were originally looking for shelter, got lost, and then when they DID find the exit they didnt really want to deal with the harsh conditions

The glamrocks decide to let reader stay bc they know what the outside is like and reader isnt scared of them like everyone else born after the end, and Sun and Moon end up following them around trying to get them to act like a civilized person

At one point chica makes them a pizza, like one just for them. They fold it in half and pick it up. Chica visibly twitches

Anyways they start getting radio transmissions later of someone whos trying to "save the world". Kinda like how protagonists in ye old apocalyptic films save the world and fix it all, Ive always been curious about the perspective of the ones who weren't saving it watching it change

But yeah they have to deal w raids on the plex, mutated animals, reader getting strange illnesses (the illness is called contentment and happiness actually. They arent really sick. They just got really relaxed, realized they werent on edge, and started to panic thinking they were ill)

yea i literally have one less cat than you and probably the only reason we don't have the same amnt is bcuz my sister is out of vet school and isnt takin care if adoptable cats anymore. anymore time there we'd have at least 2 more istg. i dread the day my BiL brings home another stray.

so real. the only reason i haven’t adopted more is because i got out of a school program that had a tendency to go ‘hey someone wants to rehome this cat’ and i, obsessive email checker that i am, would always see it first and go CAT and talk with whoever needed their cat rehomed and i didn’t even take the cat each time but i love cats sm and i mean, what’s one more? <- belief that has led to having so so many cats. besides. i’m not the only one who does it. my mother adopted a cat who’s owner moved out through work friends and we’ve all brought in a stray at some point. we try to get them rehomed before we get attached but…. that happens pretty quickly and also no one wants cats around here? that we know at least. and even with all of our cats we still will go to the shelter and foster queens/very young kittens (separate from our cats ofc) because we have so much experience with newborns and let’s be honest, kittens are so fucking cute. like. there will be points where it feels weird to not have fosters. but we need to take breaks else we’ll get too attached
