#tw abuse // tw sa#i can’t sleep bc i keep thinking about this.#like i probably would’ve not been here if it weren’t for her#i started seeing her january of 2023… my life has changed entirely since then and she was definitely the one who got the ball rolling#literally so much has changed since then and it’s all because of her#i was so dissociated during our first few sessions#thanks to her i was able to get diagnosed and medicated for adhd. i was able to realize i was in an abusive situation and plan a way out#i was able to focus on myself and my healing and she’s helped me reframe so much of my negative thinking#i was able to process a lot of emotions and become a better version of myself with each session#she’s truly incredible.#i remember the first comment she made about the relationship had been ‘’so it’s like there’s an imbalance of control in the relationship’’#i had put my partners on such a high pedestal that i had no idea they could be doing anything wrong#and i asked her what she meant and she said ‘from what you’ve been describing it’s sounds like a strict parents and child type of dynamic’#she told me they didn’t need to understand why i wanted to leave and they didn’t need to make that decision. if that’s what was going to be#best for me the only thing i could do is let them know my reasoning and simply leave. i didn’t need their permission.’’#i remember being so confused at that realization bc like… i had been putting their emotions over mine the whole time i had forgotten simply#doing what’s best for me was an option… l#ever since then i’ve been putting myself first and it’s been a steady uphill from rock bottom… i’ve made an incredible amount of progress#when i first started with her getting out of bed and walking to the kitchen was incredibly difficult and took all my strength.#yesterday i conquered a mountain!!!!!!! i hiked all the way to the top!!!!! :D#me a year ago thought it was going to take me years and years to recover. as soon as i left i made leaps of progress#im incredibly proud of myself and grateful for her. and my reiki lady she’s also been a great great help.#the silver lining is i realized who really matters. and the relationships i cared about deepened.#my sweet virgo friend was the one who was always like ‘THATS A GROWN ASS MAN WHO CANT UNDERSTAND BASIC CONSENT???’#LMFAO i would be like ‘but he has trauma and bla bla bla’ she looked me dead in the eyes and said#’jess you said with your last boyfriend that you would never make excuses for a man who was hurting you again. stop defending him.’#she’s really a gem and i treasure her with my life. i hope she knows i love her. she’s family at this point#she’s also literally saved my life before (like deadass called 911 for help)#im glad i had the support system i had. that was a rough situation with so many layers and im glad i got through it#my 22nd year of life was by far the worst of my life and i don’t ever want to put myself in that situation again. im glad i learned.

Crush - Twice Sana
Tumblr media
Requested:  May I request Sana caught reader having a crush on her
Sana x f!reader
Fluff
Words: 882
You couldn't help but feel your heart race every time Sana entered the room.
Her presence was like a gentle breeze that brushed against your skin, leaving you with a tingling sensation that lingered long after she was gone.
You tried to hide your feelings, burying them deep within, afraid of the potential consequences if you were to reveal the truth.
You found yourself drawn to every little detail about her – the way her eyes sparkled with laughter, the curve of her lips when she smiled, and the sound of her voice that seemed to soothe your soul.
You longed to tell her how you felt, but the fear of rejection and the uncertainty of her feelings held you back.
In the quiet moments, when you were alone with your thoughts, you allowed yourself to imagine what it would be like to hold her hand, to feel her lips against yours, to share your life with her.
But those dreams remained locked away, a world of possibilities that seemed just out of reach.
You found solace in the stolen glances, in the shared laughter and the little inside jokes that only the two of you understood.
You treasured every moment spent with her, cherishing each memory like a precious gem.
Sometimes, you wondered if she had any inkling of your affection. Did she notice the way your eyes lingered on her, the way your voice faltered when you spoke to her? Or were you just another friend to her, nothing more?
You watched as she interacted with others, trying to decipher any signs that she might feel the same way. But the more you looked for clues, the more uncertain you became.
It was as if you were standing at the edge of a cliff, wanting to take the leap but held back by the fear of what lay below.
You confided in your closest friends, seeking their advice and comfort. They told you to be brave, to take the risk and tell her how you felt. But it was easier said than done.
The fear of losing her friendship, the fear of being rejected, was too overwhelming.
So you remained silent, content with being by her side as a friend, knowing that this unspoken love was all you could give.
You supported her through her ups and downs, celebrating her successes and offering a shoulder to lean on during tough times.
In your heart, you knew that your feelings for her were real and true. They were a part of you, woven into the fabric of your being.
But for now, you chose to keep them hidden, preserving the friendship that meant so much to you.
“You know,” Sana said, fixing her gaze on you through the mirror. She was putting lipstick on before going back to the set where the rest of the girls were. “I’ve seen you staring”.
Your heart skipped a beat.
“W-what?”
She got up from her chair and turned around to face you. “I’ve noticed your gaze lingers on me for a while before I look at you,” she continued. “And you quickly look away, not allowing me to look at those beautiful eyes”.
You gulped at her words, not understanding what was happening at all.
“I’m not really good at reading signs and as delusional as I can be, I hoped with all my heart that I wasn’t just imagining things,” she said, fidgeting with her fingers, “I even asked the girls and they have been pushing me to confront you for weeks now”.
“S-sana…” you breathed out, your cheeks burning, trying to decide if you were going to deny everything or take a risk, the biggest risk you could ever take.
She giggled. “I noticed the way you look at me, the way your eyes sparkle when we talk,” her eyes still on yours, “and when we are together," she continued, her smile growing more radiant, "you seem to light up. Your entire demeanor changes, as if I have the power to bring joy into your world with just my presence. It is kind of adorable, actually."
You couldn’t help but chuckle at her words. Everything she was saying was real, you felt embarrassed it wasn’t as subtle as you thought it was.
“Why are you doing this?” you asked, your cheeks burning as she took a couple of steps towards you.
She found you extremely cute.
“I can tell you like me,” she stated, capturing your hand with hers and placing it on her cheek. “I’m just making it easier for the both of us”.
Your eyes widened.
And she chuckled again.
“You’re so cute,” she said with a big smile, “I was waiting for you to say anything but I decided I had to step up”.
“Sana, I like you”.
“That’s what I wanted to hear,” she whispered, before finally catching your lips with hers.
After a couple of seconds you pulled back to look at her face. It was happening. Sana liked you back. All of that time thinking it was a one sided thing, Sana was actually waiting for you to do something.
A big smile formed on your face as she caressed your cheek.
“Kiss me again?” you asked in a whisper.
Sana didn’t have to be asked twice.

Interpersonal Aftermath: Riley and Patrick Edition
Ben and Patrick | Ben and Abigail | Ben and Riley | Riley and Abigail | Abigail and Patrick |
We continue our relationship aftermath series with Riley and Patrick, and with me once again underestimating how much I had to learn (and to write) from this investigation.
Now, these two have even less interaction then our other low-interaction duos, but let’s work with what we’ve got.
Patrick meets both Riley and Abigail when they show up to his house with Ben after the gala. Initially I thought Patrick would instantly dislike Abigail, but @emmi-kat convinced me that he’d take to her immediately. She also argues that a little bit of that compassion would extend to Riley as well.
I’m inclined to agree, but while I don’t think Patrick dislikes Riley on first meeting, I don’t think he particularly likes him much either.
To review, their first real interaction goes like this:
PATRICK And he dragged you two into this nonsense? ABIGAIL Literally. RILEY I volunteered. PATRICK Well unvolunteer, before you waste your life.
The main difference between Ben’s companions is that Abigail was roped into this nonsense, where Riley is here voluntarily. He joined Ben in the futile quest for treasure, and I imagine Patrick holds that against him, at least a little.
Can’t these guys see how they’re wasting their lives away? he must think. Patrick at least knows why Ben feels compelled to do this. Riley doesn't have generations of family history compelling him to be here. He could, as Patrick puts it, unvolunteer at any time.
That doesn’t mean Patrick doesn’t think Riley is smart. After all, he knows that Ben is smart, but that was never the problem. It didn’t help that Ben had the patience and the mind to study deeply and try to unravel the clues, but it’s his bullheaded dedication to the cause that has Patrick most concerned.
It’s an interesting question how much of this same determination he senses in Riley. After all, Riley just helped Ben steal the Declaration of Independence. He’s as all-in as you can be. And yet he’s in more because he wasn’t going to let Ben do this alone, not only because he has a blind belief in the treasure.
The fact that Riley doesn’t recognize the Ottendorf cypher might give Patrick a little hope for Riley. I think Patrick would find it reassuring that Riley isn’t a die-hard treasure hunter, at least not in the same way that Ben is.
And of course, there’s this gem, which is one of my favorite lines of the movie:
Tumblr media
Patrick isn’t exactly impressed with Riley either. But then again, this isn’t a situation where Riley can show off his skill sets. In this scene, he’s fulfilling his everyman function with no tech in sight. He really is just “some guy” who Ben has tagging along.
I would expect most of Patrick’s frustrations to remain on Ben, but he doesn’t have a lot of reason to like Riley yet either. In the tension of the evening, I doubt Riley’s signature sense of humor isn’t even registering for Patrick.
They don’t meet again until it’s time to go down into Trinity Church, and even then they don’t interact directly until after the stairs collapse.
However, when they do, it’s Patrick patting Riley reassuringly on the shoulder and saying
PATRICK It's OK, kiddo.
after Ian leaves them in the pit.
That’s a pretty big shift from “What do you have, him?” So what changed? Well directly, as we’ve seen, almost nothing—Riley and Patrick haven’t interacted since. However, their circumstances have changed a lot.
I would argue that this fatherly instinct from Patrick is a result of three factors. One, everybody almost died a minute ago, particularly Ben, who was in peril for the longest. Patrick is probably feeling a lot of feelings about his son and the years they lost being estranged from each other. Some of this fatherly affection transfers over to Riley.
Second, the thrill/peril of the treasure hunt has awakened something in Patrick that he thought died a long time ago. In his worldview, this staircase should not be real. Hiding some artifacts is one thing, but secretly excavating a five story pit in the middle of Manhattan is a long way to go to prank the British. He must be starting to feel some of his long-extinguished hope that the treasure is real. This puts him in a good mood, hence “Kiddo.”
And third, even though their direct interactions have been limited, Patrick has spent enough time with Riley at this point to get a sense of Riley’s personality. And who wouldn’t love Riley Poole?
He might not realize it yet, but Patrick is bringing Ben back into his life, and taking everyone Ben cares about with him.
And what does Riley think of Patrick?
Although they had never met, I think that Riley has expectations of Patrick that trend toward the negative. In the 2003 script Riley explicitly knows about Ben’s tense relationship with his father before we meet Patrick on screen.
Outside the Archives he says
RILEY All right. I’m sorry. I know I'm not supposed to talk about your dad.
Now, Riley’s a slightly different character in the older script, and he has a slightly different relationship with Ben—Riley actually takes on more of a mastermind role—so it’s not a guarantee that any related details would be the same. We know, at the very least, that Riley knows enough to know that Ben is thinking about going to his dad’s when they’re in the park.
RILEY Ben, you know what you have to do.
It’s possible Riley knows any amount of detail about Ben and Patrick’s relationship between “My dad and I don’t see eye to eye about the treasure” to full details of their falling out, Patrick’s perpetual disappointment with his son, etc.
So when he goes to the door with Ben and Abigail, Riley knows he’s about to walk into something but he might not know exactly what. Then Patrick insults Abigail (Is she pregnant?), Ben a bunch of times, and Riley himself (What do you have, him?) and Riley can’t be having a great impression of Patrick.
So I imagine the “Kiddo” moment marks a "oh, this guy's actually alright" on both sides.
Going forward, I don’t know that they’d get particularly close—Patrick has much more in common with Abigail, after all—but I imagine that Riley and Patrick get along just fine. Patrick will always think Riley is a bit hapless, and Riley will always think Patrick is a bit uptight, but Patrick respects the lengths Riley will go for Ben, and Riley is glad for both of them that Ben and Patrick are on a better footing now.
“He’s a weird, goofy little man, but he’s my son’s weird, goofy little man” 🤝 “I just wanna impress my treasure hunt father-in-law/new adopted history dad”

Shoe Dog
“Let everyone else call your idea crazy…just keep going. Don’t stop. Don’t even think about stopping until you get there, and don’t give much thought to where “there” is. Whatever comes, just don’t stop. — Phil Knight
Tumblr media
A couple of days ago, I made one of the best decision by picking up a dusty gem sitting on the shelf. Maybe it was meant to be dusty when I picked it up. It’s like a treasure that holds an encoded message specially written for you with an aim of shedding light on your journey.
The gem is none other than a book composed of 405 pages where every word is written with utmost wisdom by the one and only, Phil Knight, better known as the creator of Nike. That’s the thing about being an avid reader, you know exactly when you’re reading a really good book!
I know there’s tons of books out there where founders share their journey of starting up but the main “make or break” moment happens when the book gives you a lot of “AHAA” moment and this is exactly what Shoe Dog brings you! I am going to share with you some key moments that truly impressed me and I hope this provides value into your life. The real key is at the ending (make sure to read) till the very end.
1962
“Before running a big race, you always want to walk the track.” “You cannot travel the path until you have become the path yourself.” — Buddha “You are remembered for the rules you break.” — Douglas MacArthur “The main who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.” — Confucius “Don’t tell people how to do things, tell them what to do and let them surprise you with their results.”
1964
“A tiger hunts best when he’s hungry.” “The art of competing, I’d learned from track, was the art of forgetting, and I now reminded myself of that fact.” “Happiness is a how, not a what.”
1965
“He looked at numbers the way the poet looks at clouds, the way the geologist looks at rocks. He could draw from them rhapsodic song, demotic truths.” “Running track gives you a fierce respect for numbers, because you are what your numbers say you are, nothing more, nothing less.” “Inspiration, he learned, can come from quotidian things. Things you might eat. Or find lying around the house.” “But everyone’s athlete, he said. If you have a body, you’re an athlete.”
1966
“Someone somewhere once said that business is war without bullets, and I tended to agree.” “Wisdom seemed an intangible asset, but an asset all the same, one that justified the risk.” “But my hope was that when I failed, if I failed, I’d fail quickly, so I’d have enough time, enough years, to implement all the hard-won lessons.”
1968
“I told her that I flat-out didn’t want to work for someone else. I wanted to build something that was my own, something I could point and say: I made that. It was the only way I saw to make life meaningful.” “Alcohol and time worked their magic.” “The single easiest way to find out how you feel about someone. Say goodbye.” “By nature I was a loner, but since childhood I’d thrived in team sports. My psyche was in true harmony when I had a mix of alone time and team time. Exactly what I had now.”
1969
“Penny and I were learning to live together, learning to meld our personalities and idiosyncrasies, though we agreed that she was the one with all the personality and I was the idiosyncratic one.” “Life is growth. You grow or you die.”
1970
“No news was bad news, no news was good news — but no news was always some sort of news.”
1972
“If we’re going to succeed, or fail, we should don so on our own terms, with out own ideas — our own brand.” “No matter the sport — no natter the human endeavor, really — total effort will win people’s hearts.” “Like books, sports give people a sense of having lived other lives, of taking part in other people’s victories. And defeats.” “The cowards never stared and the weak died along the way — that leaves us.”
1974
“More than a product, we were trying to sell an idea — a spirit.” “But when we did fail, we had faith that we’d do it fast, learn from it, and be better for it.”
1975
“No brilliant idea was ever born in a conference room.” he assured the Dane. “But a lot of silly ideas have died there,” said Stahr. — F.Scott Fitzgerald, The Last Tycoon
1976
“Whatever happened, I just didn’t want to lose. Losing was death.” “Money wasn’t our aim, we agreed. Money wasn’t out end game. But whatever our am or end, money was the only means to get there.” “I no longer simply made Nikes; Nikes were making me.”
1977
“Beating the competition is relatively easy. Beating yourself is a never-ending competition.” “But I liked the idea of acting as if things were going to work out.” “It didn’t focus on the product, but on the spirit behind the product.”
1978
“Obsessives were the only ones for the job. The only ones for me.” “Maybe the cure for any burnout, I thought, is to just work harder.”
1980
“I never knew that numbers could mean so much, and so little, at the same time.” “Any building is a temple if you make it so.” “You measure yourself by the people who measure themselves by you.” “To study the self is to forget the self.” “Oneness — in some way, shape, or form, it’s what every person I’ve ever met has been seeking.” “Change never comes as fast as we want it.” “Because mothers are our first coaches.”
Tumblr media
Because here’s the real gift:
I’d tell men and women in their mid-twenties not to settle for a job or a profession or even a career. Seek a calling. Even if you don’t know what that means, seek it. If you’re following your calling, the fatigue will be easier to bear, the disappointments will be fuel, the highs will be like nothing you’ve ever felt.
Put it this way. The harder you work, the better your Tao.
Yours, Asrajjit Kaur

Hi! I hope you are very well. I really need your opinion on something. I just finished reading Victor's date with the Disney-themed and it's absolutely perfect, I think it's became my favorite, so I would like to know if you have read it and if so I would really like to read your opinion about it 😊❤️
Hello!! I’m... living through skfkaskbvn 😷 I hope you’re doing great tho! 🥺💕
Yeah, of course I have haha. It’s indeed an absolutely beautiful date!! It’s an old date btw. It was released in late April of 2020.
Tumblr media
In all honesty, the devil may work hard, but Victor content writers work harder LOL. Because of the spellbinding Victor contents that have followed afterward – many more dates have automatically climbed their way up to the peak for me haha.
However, I still reckon this one as one of the most beautiful dates among the dates that portray the “on the way to the pinnacle phase” of Victor x MC relationship.
ngl, I had to re-read again before answering your ask haha since my last read was a really long time ago :>
And I found that some of my viewpoints have attained more integrity – in light of the contents that have been released so far and, well... my understanding of life has grown a bit more composed LOL.
Tumblr media
The very first introduction to Victor’s “Dragon motif”:
Tumblr media
If you’re familiar with Victor’s contents, you probably know that the motif “black dragon/dragon” is often used to represent him. And the “phoenix” term is used impartially to embody MC.
In ancient Chinese culture, and even till now, dragon and phoenix, respectively symbolize the emperor and the empress. The union of dragon and phoenix is known as 龙凤配 which refers to “ultimate marital bliss and peak of love.”
His “lost” treasure, the thing the black dragon cherishes the most in his life – “his Phoenix,” i.e., the MC:
Tumblr media
– “The adventurer who dares to embark on this journey of exploration may even find the dragon’s lost treasure.”
– “The mighty black dragon’s most precious treasure perhaps is not the gold and gems, but the thing he cherishes the most in life.”
– The black dragon guarding its treasure till the end of time is also the one who has engraved his mark on my soul – the person most important to me.
I was actually brought to tears by these monologues!
⊳ HIS “LOST TREASURE” –
Do you see the implication? And how it goes both ways? 泽言哥哥 (ZéYán gēgē)!!! 🥺
This is brought back again and again in Victor dates later, and in the main story chapters as well – where we see both Victor and MC referring to the other as their “treasure once lost and now found” [e.g., S1 CH 36, S2 CH 7, S2 CH 31].
⊳ THE GRAND CONFESSION AND THE KEY TO HIS HEART, again –
No, by grand confession I don’t mean renting out the entire amusement park after the working hours LOL I mean the thought and feelings and time he had to invest to come up with such a game to tell her his feelings!
THIS MAN’S DEVOTION IS TRULY SOMETHING ELSE! And I LOVE how the writers engraved this theme for Victor x MC permanently with Victor’s CN Wedding MQ, where MC tells him that “she’s devoted to him”~ 🥺
The previous time Victor “literally” gave MC the key to his heart was in his birthday date the very same year (2020 in CN) – “Eternal Promise Date.” MC bought a one-of-a-kind heart lock and gifted it to him. And he gave the key to that lock to her i.e., she gave him her heart, and he left his heart in her care! 🥺
Tumblr media
But what’s more significant with this “key” is – the key was with MC the entire time, unbeknownst to her.
This is him telling you: he’s already given his heart to you a long, long time ago. All you need to do is take the next step, he’s already standing there for you. And since you’re aware, take good care of this possession of yours. 🥺🫀
What I admire the most about Victor himself, and the Victor x MC dynamic is that – he doesn’t only “say” the words. He lets his actions testify for his words. And, you’d see MC doing the same when she’s with Victor – they both do their utmost to put their words into actions, so as to avoid the words not being resonating enough.
And to be honest, in the long run, if you can’t put your words into actions, be it something big or the smallest little thing – at one point your words are sure to lose their credibility~ :>
This date also gives us a little insight into Victor’s dorky side and their ever-increasing intimacy, which we get to explore in full bloom in the contents that follow afterwards! 💕💕
⊳ THE FERRIS WHEEL KISS:
You know, according to popular belief, how you are supposed to kiss your beloved when the Ferris wheel reaches the highest point, so that you stay together forever?? The man really did his research LOL 😭
Tumblr media
Victor draws one step closer to me. Akin to crash-landing and losing oneself in time and space, his breath invades and occupies my senses. The Ferris wheel gradually makes its ascent, and the firework display is about to begin. The steady movement of the capsule brings us to the border between reality and fantasy, and we enter the most magnificent dream. At the highest point, we don’t welcome the descent.
But, what got me more is the kiss on the back of her hand:
Tumblr media
Victor gently takes my hand and plants a kiss on the back of it. It’s just a soft touch, but it’s akin to a blazing seal. I seem to have forgotten how to breathe. [...] He laughs, his warm breath brushing my fingers. In the next second, the soft touch is planted on my joints, between my fingers.
There’s always something undeniably charming and enchanting about a hand kiss haha, at least to me (⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝) But what makes this particular hand kiss so beautiful is – the man is fully aware of just how overwhelmed MC is at this point. And he just “adds more fuel to the fire” in the most “gentlemanly” way possible LOL.
What’s more bewitching than a self-aware, confident person with a mischievous glint overflowing their eyes – threatening to swallow you whole—— 🤣💘
⊳ MOST IMPORTANTLY—
Tumblr media
Imagine telling the person you love the most in the world how happy you are because of them, and how you wish to increase their happiness, even if just a little –– i.e., you hope that you’re the reason behind their smile.
And them looking into your eyes and telling you, they “already have everything they want” — i.e. you’re the only thing they’ve wanted out of life, and having each other is and will be enough.
!!!
I can’t emphasize enough just how much I love HOW VOCAL Victor is about these things and HOW CANDID he is about dropping such big bombs LOL. It goes both ways.
You know life is not supposed to go the way you wish for it to be, and you see them both acknowledging this principle. Regardless, they let each other know in every possible way that they are here to stay, even when it seems impossible—
Just look at his eyes!! Just look at them—
Tumblr media
Just one look at them, and you can tell just how much they not only love each other, but are in love with each other, and how blessed they are to have the other— 🥺❤️
Remember how I said in the beginning, this date only paves the path for the GRAND Victor contents that follow afterwards? if I could write an essay about a date that’s not ranked high in the list of my top dates, then imagine how big my rambling could be about the GRAND dates LOL 🤡

Redemption Chapter Nineteen:
The Sky is High and the Wind Sings
Robyn used the binding spell to fuse the last pink gem to the red ribbon. It was kind of Ricken to teach her that spell. The heart shaped gems seemed to glow in the morning sun, making her heart flutter. The castle was bustling, Day of Devotion in full swing. Takumi had left her room to go to his, most likely to prepare a gift, and the Summoner smiled to herself as she held up the hair ties to admire them. It was just like his usual red and white ties, but with the heart crystals attached. Caledori had been more than thrilled to teach her about the holiday. It was said that those who exchanged heart shaped gifts on that day were guaranteed a life of happiness together, and while neither of them actually believed that superstition, it was still fun. A soft knock at the door drew her attention.
He’s here!
Giggling softly to herself, she tucked the ties carefully under some fabric and hurried to answer the door, pausing in confusion when she saw no one was there.
Where is he? she wondered, stepping out to look around, only to gasp softly as hands suddenly covered her eyes.
“Got you!” Takumi chuckled.
“What are you doing?” she laughed as he pulled her into his arms and back into her room, closing the door softly.
“Just keeping you in suspense for a bit before I give you your gift.” he teased back, pausing for a moment before adding shyly. “I um.. I hope you like it. I had it custom made for you.”
”Anything from you is a treasure.” she responded simply.
Robyn didn’t need to look to know the prince was blushing sheepishly.
“O-oh yeah? Oh! You can open them now.”
Robyn opened them to see a beautiful floral red kimono with a heart shaped hair pin, the other half being a skirt that started out red on the top, fading into white, then back to red like a sunset, with white socks and red sandles to match.
“I um.. I know how much you like dressing as a proper Hoshidan princess and thought you might like wearing traditional Day of Devotion colors..” Takumi said, hand tucked behind his head as Robyn embraced him tightly, smiling at his wife’s excitement.
”I um.. got you something else too. I-I know it’s a lot..but it’s our first Day of Devotion so.. I wanted to spoil you a bit.”
Robyn gazed in wonder, tearing up bit as the prince slipped a small ring on her right hand. It shone gold in the morning sun, decorated on the sides with little white gems, twin crystal roses resting in the middle.
“T-Takumi.. I don’t know what to say.. All of this is..”
Her violet eyes met shining hazel, and Takumi caressed her cheek gently.
“I love you..” he murmured.
“I love you too..” she breathed, then kissed him softly. “Now we’ll match!”
”Hm?”
Her smile only widened when the prince tilted his head, pulling him over to the chair and telling him to sit down and close his eyes, much to his amusement as she fished out the hair ties from their hiding place.
“What are you doing to my hair?” he chuckled as she gently removed his current hair ties.
“Just be patient.” she teased softly, tying his hair up in its usual spiked style. “Okay.. you can open them now!”
Surprised hazel eyes blinked back at her in the mirror as the heart-shaped gems glimmered. He turned his head from side to side, taking them in.
“You always look so nice with your hair back.” Robyn murmured. “I thought you could wear them to battle, like a good luck charm.”
A softness filled Takumi’s hazel eyes as he stood to embrace her.
”I’ll wear them every day.” he promised. “We really do match. Did.. you want to change now?”
”Hm..”
The goddess’s eyes trailed over the prince, from his usual blue kimono down to his shoes. He hadn’t changed into his Day of Devotion attire yet, but he still looked irresistible. Just how he looked on the day she summoned him.
“..Perhaps in a moment. I.. wanted to try something. Can.. you fold your hands together in front of you?”
”..Oh?” Takumi tilted his head to one side curiously, but complied with her request. “Like this?”
”Y-yes..”
A flush crept to Robyn’s cheeks. She wasn’t sure how the prince would react, but there was no going back now. In one smooth movement, she took the prince’s folded hands in her own, using her body to press him against the wall as she pinned his hands above his head.
“Wh-“
Anything the prince could have said ended with a groan as Robyn pressed her lips to his neck. He shivered from her touch, his eyes shut tight, his eyelids quivering, his face flushed. Robyn gazed at him in quiet fascination for a moment. She’d gotten him riled up plenty of times, but never like this. Encouraged, she kissed under his jawline, then moved slowly down his neck until she reached his collarbone.
“Nnn..”
Another groan escaped him, his breathing ragged until he was panting softly.
“Robyn..” he breathed, eyes half lidded.
“..Yes?” she whispered back, still keeping his hands gently pinned above his head, her breath touching his throat.
“D-don’t stop..” Takumi murmured, and Robyn smiled as she resumed kissing his neck until he was breathless.
”Gods..”
Something in the prince’s eyes shifted as he gently broke free, and the Summoner found herself on her back pressed to the bed, Takumi hovering over her.
“I need you..” he whispered in between passionate kisses.
“Takumi.. love me.” Robyn whispered back, and the prince was more than happy to comply.
“..Are you sure I wasn’t too rough?” Takumi asked again, a little awkwardly as he blushed, running a brush through her hair.
“No.” Robyn responded simply, fixing the front of her kimono. “I liked it actually.”
“Wh-what?!”
Robyn gave her reflection a once over, then turned to meet his eyes.
“I like it when you’re gentle.. but I like seeing you passionate too. I.. want to see all sides of you.” she murmured as she caressed his cheek.
”I see..” Takumi leaned into her touch. “I guess I’m just worried. How have those fatigue spells been?”
Since getting back from the dream realm, Robyn had experienced several strange fatigue spells.
“They’ve grown more frequent.” she admitted. “I’m sure they’ll clear up soon.. Maybe I’ve just used too much magic.”
She could see the worry in his eyes, and while she knew it wasn’t her fault, it made her feel guilty. Robyn hated seeing him fret, and for some reason, tears pricked at her eyes, threatening to fall.
Why do I feel like crying?
“Don’t overdo it, okay? Why don’t we go to the hot springs when you’re done helping Caledori?”
”Okay!”
Hand in hand, they descended the stairs. Fatigue threatened to overwhelm her at the edges of her vision, but Robyn pushed it away firmly.
It’ll go away soon. she promised herself.
“Oh my gods.. you look amazing!” Caledori gasped as they entered the Mess Hall. “I recruited some extra help.”
Ricken waved as he adjusted his mage hat.
“Since Maribelle’s not here, I decided to help Caledori. It’s for Gaius.” he added mischievously. “The only other person she could have asked was Felicia, but she’s kiiiinda still banned from the kitchen after the beach trip.. meal.”
”Meal? I think you mean abomination.” Takumi teased. “Anything she makes, give it to Niles.”
Ricken spluttered out a laugh as they set to work, making strawberry chocolates, per Caledori’s request. While they worked on heart shapes, Robyn made a few arrow shaped ones, earning a blushing smile from a particular Hoshidan prince.
“..Aaaaand done!” Caledori announced, the group looking proud at the assortment of chocolates sitting in front of them.
“Why did you have us make an extra batch?” Takumi asked curiously.
“For us silly! The chefs deserve some too, don’t they?”
”Awesome!” Ricken exclaimed, the mage wasting no time in picking up one of the arrows and biting into it, his eyes growing wide. “Wow, this is amazing!”
”Oh no.. I miscalculated. There’s only two left, not three.” Caledori murmured.
“Ah well.. you can have it. I don’t need any chocolate.” Takumi mended the situation quickly, stepping back.
“Oh really? Thank you, Prince Takumi!”
Robyn smiled to herself as Caledori picked one of the pieces, then picked up a piece of her own, placing it gently between her lips.
“Wow.. it really is good.”
Takumi was watching her, a soft look on his eyes as she leaned in, the chocolate still halfway out of her mouth.
“Here.. you try too.”
Surprised reddish hazel eyes blinked back at her, a soft blush spreading across his cheeks as he leaned in to accept the bite, his lips brushing against her’s. The flustered look in Takumi’s eyes vanished when they met her own, and he rubbed his nose gently against her’s before drawing back. Caledori and Ricken smirked a bit as they finished packaging up the chocolates.
“Well.. I’m off.” Caledori said with a small wave. “I’m going to go give these to Gaius.. with my confession. Wish me luck!”
”Good luck!” Ricken called enthusiastically, while Takumi chuckled and added
“See you later.”
”I’m heading out too.” Ricken said, holding up some quill and parchment. “I have to write Maribelle her Day of Devotion letter!”
With the war going on, the heroes were unable to go back home to check on their loved ones. Without the power to both open and close gates, they couldn’t take the risk of Embla finding their homelands and wreaking havoc. So Ricken especially had taken to writing letters to his beloved Maribelle back home. Robyn let her face remain downcast as Ricken’s footsteps rapidly retreated.
”Takumi..? Has.. has Caledori gone?”
There was a tremor in Robyn’s voice as she quietly spoke up, drawing the prince’s attention, just in time as she lurched forward. Takumi rushed to catch her as she crumpled into his arms like a parchment doll, panting softly.
“Robyn?! What’s wrong?!” he whispered, fear gripping him.
Neither of them were supposed to get hurt or sick.. so why was she so pale and exhausted?
”Y-you’re freezing..”
”Tak…umi.. I’m so cold and tired..” Robyn whispered, her voice no more than a breath against the cold stone floor. “Can we.. go to the hot springs?”
”Yes of course..” he murmured, crouching down so she could climb on his shoulders. “Get on.”
”..I can walk..”
”Please don’t.. Let me carry you okay?”
”Okay..”
The goddess was light on his back as he stood up, her arms around him and her chin nestled against his shoulders as they made their way to the hot spring, passing Niles in the hallway.
“Ooo.. getting a little too feisty already?” he sneered.
“…”
Takumi shouldered his way past him without a word, careful not to jostle Robyn as he continued down the hall. The prince didn’t have time for petty squabbles. Right now, his wife was all that mattered. Something in Niles’s eye shifted, and he looked worried. How obvious was the Summoner’s ailing condition to the others?
Please be okay..
Takumi slowly descended the stairs, and turned into the hallway, unable to shake off his growing unease. Where was the spirit, and why wasn’t it advising them? They weren’t supposed to hurt or get sick, so did it lie? Why wasn’t her magic healing her?
”We’re here.” he said softly, setting her down carefully.
Robyn’s only response was a drowsy murmur as they began to disrobe.
How is she declining so rapidly? he thought as he watched her fiddle to remove her obi belt.
“Here.. let me do it.” he insisted softly, trying to ignore the cracks forming in his heart as he removed the kimono and lifted her bare body into his arms, stepping into the water.
“How does that feel?” he murmured, cradling her against him as he sat down.
“It’s warm..”
Robyn sighed drowsily, curling into his embrace.
“I think I might close my eyes for a bit, if that’s alright..”
”Yes.. you do that.” Takumi whispered back, fighting to keep his voice steady.
Don’t cry.. not in front of her..
The Hoshidan prince remained very still, until the goddess’s breathing had deepened before he let the tears fall, sending little ripples against the water.
Please get well soon.. I.. I need you.. he pleaded softly, resting his cheek gently against her head, breathing in her comforting scent.
The only other sounds in the chambers were the steady trickle of water, the rose petals brushing gently against Robyn’s skin. She was beautiful, in both body, voice, and soul, and the only thing that mattered to him right now. Gently, as not to wake her, Takumi drew her closer, leaning back against the wall of the hot spring, his head resting gently against her’s as he closed his eyes with a small sigh.
Takumi opened his eyes to a moonlit lake, the peaceful, deep blue waters spreading out in every direction, as far as the eye could see. Glowing blue flowers rested on the surface, and Robyn’s azaleas glowed brighter than ever, spreading to her body as she lay in his arms, still sleeping. The waters lapped gently around them, and when the prince looked up, the three stars from his dream were now shining directly above them, casting their pale glow on the goddess’s face.
Takumi.
Takumi started at the voice and looked around. It was Mikoto’s voice! But where was she?
Takumi.. you must wake up! It’s time.
The urgency in her voice caused the prince to wake up with a jolt, greeted by the familiar sights of the Askrian hot springs. For a moment, he allowed himself to relax, then looked down at Robyn, feeling his breath hitch in his throat. She lay very still in his arms, her skin ashen and her breath faint. Her eyes were lightly closed, as if she’d just fallen asleep.
“Robyn..” Takumi whispered urgently, shaking her gently.
She didn’t stir, so the prince shook her harder, the desperation in his voice rising.
“Robyn.. please wake up!” he begged to no avail.
It’s time.. Mikoto’s words echoed again, sending a chill down his spine.
What could they mean? Fear pulsed through his veins, and Takumi sprung into action, leaping from the waters and throwing on his clothes, snatching up Robyn’s black kimono with dark green flowers, putting it gently on her and tying the obi belt with care.
”This’ll keep you warm my love.” he murmured, nestling her head against his shoulder as he carried her bridal style. “We’re going to have to go fast, so hang in there!”
The Hoshidan could feel the powerful wind coursing though his veins, lending him speed as he took off at a sprint that would make Askr’s best thieves ill with envy. The hallways passed in a blur as he shot through them. Felicia was heading towards the hero’s sleeping quarters, starting when she saw the prince charging down the hall.
“Takumi what-“
”Move!” he shouted, darting past her.
He felt a twinge of guilt at the frightened look in the maid’s eyes at the Summoner’s well-being, but there was no time to worry about that now as he made a mental note to apologize to her later. Lissa and Elise leapt to their feet as Takumi burst into the infirmary, Robyn’s limp form in his arms.
“I need a healer!”
“Oh no.. what’s wrong?! Is she sick?!” Elise gasped, hurrying over as Lissa went to prepare one of the rooms.
“I.. I don’t know.” Takumi stammered, steadying his shaking arms.
He had to force a wave of hot tears back as he fought desperately to remain composed, for Robyn’s sake.
“She’s been experiencing random bouts of fatigue for a few days now, then today she just suddenly started getting weaker and weaker.. and now I can’t wake her..”
He hated how his voice shook as the terror for his wife consumed him. If it weren’t for the aromatherapy necklace Robyn had given him, Takumi was certain he’d likely be having a panic attack right now.
“The room’s ready!” Lissa called, and the prince followed the Nohrian princess inside.
The sheets that covered the window blew lightly in the breeze, dimming the room to create a cozy atmosphere. Takumi lay Robyn gently on the bed as if she were merely sleeping.
“Why don’t you let us take over from here?” Elise suggested kindly. “We can tell you’re really worried, and I’m sure Robyn can sense that too. It’ll be easier to examine her if she’s less stressed.”
His heart stuck in his throat, Takumi simply nodded.
“I’ll be waiting outside.” he rasped.
Too choked up to say anything else, the prince numbly exited the room, giving his wife one last long, loving look before forcing himself to go on. Every step deepened the cracks rapidly forming in his heart. The door swung open abruptly, and Takumi barely got out of the way in time as Felicia came barreling in.
“Oh my gods! I’m so sorry!” she gasped, an armful of blankets in her arms.
The maid barely managed to keep the stack from toppling over as she stumbled a bit, the prince quickly steadying her.
“I-I’m really sorry!” she stammered, looking at the ground and mumbling. “I-I um.. I brought these for the Summoner. I thought warm blankets might help! All I can do is summon ice and cold winds, so I asked Ricken to warm them with his fire magic!”
Touched, Takumi managed a weak smile.
“Thank you, Felicia. You did a really good job. You can take those to her. She’s in the room over there.”
”I.. I did? I mean.. thank you! I’ll do that right away!”
The footsteps retreated, the door closing softly behind the maid. Worried sick, the prince began to pace the hallway outside the room.
“Where are you?” he whispered, his eyes searching for the spirit. “You said Robyn was supposed to save the worlds, and yet you’re letting her suffer like this?! Was that a lie too?! Do you just enjoy making Robyn suffer like this?!”
In silence, the prince waited, but his challenge went unanswered. Feeling miserable and alone, Takumi buried his face in his hands, a quiet sob escaping his lips. He wasn’t sure how long he stayed like that, until a sudden rush of footsteps roused him, and Takumi lifted his head, just in time as Felicia burst in, her eyes shining with..
Joy..?
”Lord Takumi, your child has been born!” she cried.
Takumi froze in disbelief, his lips parting, no words able to come out, even if he could think of anything to say. He was dimly aware of Elise and Lissa following out as well, babbling happily.
“Oh my gosh, I’ve never seen anything like it!” Elise gasped. “There was this bright light, then boom! Baby!”
”Do you think it was sent from the heavens?” Lissa replied.
“Like an angel baby?! That would be soooo cool!”
”A-and Robyn?” Takumi asked, finally finding his voice as three pairs of bright eyes turned their gazes to him.
“She’s fine.” Lissa said reassuringly. “She seemed tired at first, but she’s already mostly recovered. She’s awake too.”
Could it be? Robyn was not only well, but waiting for him inside with his child? Takumi’s hand hovered over the knob as anxiety filled his body. What if she wasn’t alright? What if-
Go on.. she’s waiting.
Mikoto’s voice, soft and soothing, reached his ears. That was the only push the prince needed as he gently opened the door.
Robyn stood facing the window, her beautiful frame outlined against the sky. As the door closed softly behind him, she turned to face him with a look so serene it made his heart flutter. In her arms, wrapped in a purple blanket… was a baby.
“Takumi.. come meet your son.” she invited warmly.
Slowly, Takumi made his way over until he was at her side, his eyes drifting to the child in her arms.
“How..?”
While he was fully aware his children were made, he had Robyn had only started being intimate about a couple months ago. Was it different for goddesses?
”The spirit came to me while I was asleep and said he was a gift.” Robyn explained in a light tone. “I had wondered what Freyja had meant.. but now I understand. I had only grown so tired because I was creating this life so quickly. He carries your blood too. Look Takumi.. he has your hair and my eyes!”
Takumi watched in quiet fascination as the child blinked open his eyes and fixed him with a familiar violet gaze.
Robyn’s eyes..
”..What should we name him?” he asked, turning his gaze to his wife.
Already he could see the dullness from her gaze had lifted, a rosy glow adorning her previously pale cheeks, all fear of ever losing her fading like morning dew.
“I was thinking of Kisaragi. It means like the moon.” he added.
“Just like our moonlit nights.” Robyn replied thoughtfully, looking down at the infant. “Our son Kisaragi..” she whispered. “He’s so beautiful.. I’m so glad I could give birth to him!”
She held Kisaragi out to him, and Takumi took his son delicately into his arms for the first time. When he went to caress the baby’s cheek, Kisaragi reached out and grasped his finger as if compelled by instinct, looking up at him with intensity. A softness like no other blossomed in Takumi’s chest as he gazed at his son in wonder.
He knows I’m his father!
”He’s perfect..” Takumi murmured, pressing a kiss to the baby’s forehead, then nestled his head against Robyn’s. Overcome by happiness, his eyes welled up with emotion. “Never in my life did I think today would bring us such a precious gift.”
”Yes. No matter what this life may bring, I can keep going for your sake. Yours.. and our son’s.”
”And I will do the same. My life belongs to you.. and Kisaragi.” Takumi vowed fervently.
Takumi spun through the night sky, the moonlight kissing his cheeks as a rush of exhilaration filled his veins. Since the birth of Kisaragi, the prince had been on cloud nine, and unable to resist such a beautiful night, he’d gone for a quick flight. Takumi closed his eyes, savoring the night breeze that rippled through his hair.
“..I thought I’d find you out here.”
Takumi started at the affectionate voice and turned to see Robyn hovering in the skies, her dark green and purple wings shimmering in the night.
”Y-you can take that form here too?” Takumi gasped.
“I could still feel that power within me.” she explained. “My weapon vanishes in this form, but I can tell my magical capabilities are heavily enhanced. “But I don’t know what I’d call this form.”
”Hm.. is that so?”
They began to frolic and dance through the skies together as they talked, Robyn’s glowing wings inspiring the prince.
“What about resplendent?” he suggested as they circled each other. “It’s a fitting title. At least I think so.”
”I like it. Resplendent is a good title for us both.”
Takumi gazed affectionately into Robyn’s eyes. Their first Day of Devotion, and they already had a beautiful son in Kisaragi. No matter what trials came next, Takumi knew he would treasure them both for eternity.. and beyond.
Happy Day of Devotion! Here we have a wonderful music video summing up our beautiful couples journey so far.. as well as new art of them ^w^

i really thought about whether i should leave clues or not, but i was terrible at them anyway 😭
of course, i want the people in my life to be healthy, safe & happy <3 i'm so happy your mum is there. whenever i was sick, my mum would be my angel <3 she would always feed me chicken noodle soup, bring me lots of blankets & chocolate <3
if i'm really invested in something i will stay up til 4am, i used to always be awake until like 7am when i was a teen and i would always regret it in the afternoon cause i'd be sleeping until 3pm :o i know exactly what you mean, i feel that way with a girl group i listen to. one member just outshines the rest of them and i think it's really unfair, i mean, i do think that the staff are maybe partly to blame but a lot of fans have noticed it 👀 i'm the same, i don't like drama. the only drama i like is drama in the show but if it's drama outside of it, i'm like nope. not interested.
i'm so so happyyyyy you like it!!! honestly, it meant so much but i really loved getting to know you <3 it was my favourite 🌷 you're so sweet, so so sweet 💗 pls never change, you're a lovely person ❤
oh so i'm either gonna watch the good detective or revenge of others, i'm not sure which one first. they're both kdramas <3 i think i've only seen three c-dramas (meteor garden, falling into your smile & a love so beautiful) i have a list of dramas i've watched and ones to watch and i tick them off as i go along :)
i remember you mentioning that one to me, i'm gonna watch that one after the one i watch this weekend i think....we shall see, i change my mind a lot about what i'm gonna watch
great minds think alike 💖💜
WE CAN SHARE CUSTODY 💘 i would have mentioned how GORGEOUS they were but i wanted you to see their faces first!!! 💎 OH MY GOD YOU ARE ADORABLE I LITERALLY MIGHT CRY STOP :( i have plentyyyyyy more photos of my kitties!!!! SEE BELOW

oh please! you don't have to worry about your clues not being good enough. i am so bad at guessing things, even if the clues are as big as the Eiffel tower 🤣💔
the way you describe your mum is so cute and endearing 🥺💗✨ it reminds me of my relationship with my mum as well. matter of fact, we call each other guardian angel because of the way we always take care of each other ❤️ my mum is truly a gem, my treasure 💖 I'm so proud of being her daughter 💕
staying up until 7 am... don't remind me of that 😭🤧 I'd regret it so much but still do it. where's the logic? the favouritism in a group is unfortunately still a thing 💔 I just remember being a 2nd gg stan and during that era, the bias towards one particular member was blatantly obvious but I can't the one who received that treatment because they weren't the ones who wanted that to happen 😭 however, i think if you want to blame someone for that, direct your attention to the company because the idols have little to no power in the way they're promoted. I can still see that happening in this new generation (gg and bg alike) and it makes me wonder if companies did learn anything about what happened in the past 🤔 don't they remember how favouritism has torn groups apart? how it creates a toxic environment in the workplace? how most of the idols they're debuting are so young they have no idea what's normal and not normal? tldr; just stop it with the favouritism! I can understand you want to send your most popular member to make the group known but, as for everything in this world, know how to balance things... why do I keep writing novels for random subjects but I can't seem to do so when I need it the most? 😭🤧
tysm 🥰😘 I hope you don't change as well because you're amazing just the way you are (bruno mars copied me btw)
oooh! I've heard of those before hehe I hope you enjoy watching them 💘 and if you do want to talk about them, I'll pretend I've watched the show to fangirl with you 😏 oh so I see we have another thing in common? I also like to make lists of shows to watch but then I end up with a list of 6374848 shows before I even finished the first one on the list 💔 which is why now I'm only putting shows I REALLY want to watch in my list ☺️ I'm smart I know no I'm not 🚫
AAAAAAAAH IT FEELS SO GOOD TO FINALLY BE ABLE TO OFFICIALLY CALL MYSELF LUNA AND TOFFEE'S MOM/AUNT 😍🥰💘💗💕💖❤️✨ first of all, I'd like to thank heather for allowing me to share custody with her 💞 I'd also like to thank rose for hosting this wonderful event and allowing me to meet one of the most wonderful people ever 💘 and finally I'd like to give myself a pat on the back because I had some strong arguments that convinced heather 😹 (more like I forced you to share custody but we won't talk about it 😜) if you see me reblog all photos on both their tags, no you don't it is just an illusion 👀🧙🎩🪄 (putting a spell on you so you won't notice my strategy)

(disclaimer I don't know much about Sonic media outside of games and movies and this is definitely a very short list)
Ships? SHIPS?! You want Ships™ young They/Them? Well here at the Sonic Fandom Boating we have Ships™ like you won't believe!
We've got Canon Ships™ such as Sonic x Sally Acorn and Sonic x Amy Rose!
Sonic x Sally has been simultaneously the oldest and most canon without it ever appearing in the GAMES!!! It's only ever been canon in 1 cartoon from the 90s (Sonic Satam) and in the Archie Comics
Sonic x Amy is the most arguably canon as although it's been confirmed through out Sonic media that Amy has feelings for him Sonic's feelings has been relegated to Twitter Takeovers. So it's at least one-sided canon.
WE HAVE NON CANON SHIPS THAT SHOULD BE CANON
Knuckles x Rouge the Bat: She's flirty and he's oblivious. She wants the giant glowing rock he protects, he doesn't want to give it to her. I would die on this boat.
WE HAVE GAY SHIPS!!!
Sonic x Shadow: the homoerotic tension of finding somebody who can match you in speed then that person dying in front of you only for them to come back with amnesia! (This is an oversimplification)
Sonic x Knuckles: (not viable for the movies because they're brothers there) Are you the last of your species? Have been isolated you're whole life protecting a glowy rock? Has your first friend ever help you save that giant rock? I don't know much about this to be honest...
Blaze the Cat x Amy Rose: She's a fire bending princess from another dimension and she's a pink hedgehog with a Piko Hammer! What more could you want!
Rouge the Bat x Amy Rose: She's a spy/treasure hunter that likes gems and she's a pink hedgehog with a Piko Hammer and the emotional heart of the team! Once again I don't know much about this ship...
AND THERE'S SO MUCH MORE!!! MUCH MORE!!! I HAVEN'T EVEN TOUCHED THE POLY SHIPS!!! THERE'S SO MUCH MORE FOR YOU TO SEE!!! COME BY TO SONIC FANDOM BOATING AND FIND YOUR FAVORITE SHIP!!!!
(I hope this makes you laugh a bit)
Anon this made me cackle like a hyena jaflaj! You certainly know more than I do and I really appreciate having this insiders knowledge! I need more info before the rotten ships floorboards in my brain can shudder to life and make me have opinions but YES.

ENJOYYY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Puffy and Y/n had been close for a while- blood bound together as family. Their sailing days had been rich in both wealth and joy, overtaking numerous other aggressive pirate crews. On land or at sea, Puffy's crew always had a distinct signature look that was held in sheep ears and the wooly locks and arm hair on each of the crew members. Some would have horns of a ram or various colors of their fur, but what connected them all together was the appearance from their sheep hybrid traits.
Puffy took the title “Captain Puffy”, while Y/n appealed to be Puffys right hand man. This seemed like an easy role for Y/n to take since he and Puffy had been bonded as closely as the chains attached to the anchor of their mighty ship.
Puffy taught Y/n the ways of sympathy and concern for people who he is closest to. Y/n taught Puffy the ropes and strings of wit- snappy remarks that'll always lead to the response you're looking for from anyone.
It was a smooth and rewarding life for what it was; a family of pirates finding treasure all over the globe and sharing it amongst each other.
But greed got in the way.
There was too much gold and gems to go around, some crewmates stealing from one another to the point of slitting the throats of brothers, sisters, siblings and cousins alike. Y/n knew what it had to do, so it took all of its belongings and simply left. Puffy was alone with her pirate crew, manning all the chaos as best she could with the absence of her right hand man. She never blamed him, of course. It just took some time to try and polish up the crew again.
Y/n had always been looking for money. Anything it could cash in on, you bet it would. From thievery, to scams, to breaking and entering into the homes of the snobbiest people you can think of, Y/n was the slickest scum out there. His infamy would soon bring him to a new nation, akin to his desires of green.
The sight was astonishing- bright blinding lights shooting out of gleaming windows owned by million-dollar businesses, huge attractions, streets made to align to the convenience of spenders wallets, and a regal casino smack-dab in the center of it all. Although Y/n still had his pirate hat and ascot, he found that it would soon be abandoned for white fitted button-ups and dashing suspenders paid with the money of drunken gamblers alike.
Y/n didn't have any sort of hesitance when offered to join Quackity’s nation. It had been a while since it had a family like its former pirate crew, and as much as it hated to admit it, it craved that familial bond every second it was gone. The world seemed suffocating without that bond, but after Quackity offered him the role as a manager in his casino, Y/n was making the big bucks.
“AYE, AYE!!”
Y/n shouts over the angered yelling of the casino floor. He storms up to a burly pale man, grog blossom on his nose and his ears red from anger.
“Alrighty, then, what seems to be the problem? Can't have you causin’ such a ruckus, so go on then!” The man, now clearly wasted out of his mind barked, “THAT f-cking lady right over there! Just cheesed me outta my money!”
“And you think the lass hornswagglin’ you gives ya the right to make a F-CKING mess of my casino?! Just look at all the cards you swept onto the f-ckin floor, aye!” Y/n fumed at the man, glaring him down. The drunken man was shell-shocked, tongue tied, frozen! Before Y/n walked over to the lady the man was pointing at previously, it commanded to the man, “When I come back, all o’ these cards better be picked up off the ground, shuffled, and stacked into a neat pile on that there table or else you'll be in for it, got it?” The man snapped a “yes, sir,” to it before scrambling to gather up the cards.
It had made its way towards the lady standing with her back casually against the corner. A mischievous grin was slapped on her face, the tips of her mouth sharp and wild with glee.
She was counting various diamonds and gems in a small velvet sack that didn't seem to belong to her. Closer and closer Y/n approached the lady, and it seemed to pick up on smaller details: Sturdy leather boots with a strong black heel, a flowy pearl white blouse with sleeves rolled up revealing white, tight curls of hair on the lady's arms, and a black tricorn hat. What stood out the most, however, were the long, white sheep ears on the sides of the lady's face.
“Wh- Puffy? Captain Puffy, is that really you?!” Puffy snaps her head up at the sound of Y/n’s voice again after years without it. The pouch of gems almost slips from her hands as she stares in shock. “Y/n? My right hand man! Oh my god- it's been YEARS!”
Puffy and Y/n clasp each other's hands before pulling into a tight hug. Y/n exclaimed after letting go of the hug, “Why in the world are you here?! The crew can't keep em’selves together without ya around, y'know.” Puffy's face seems to drop slightly when he says that.
“Oh- well, there were some complications and..well…” Y/n tenses up, worried for what's to come from Puffy. “..it came to be too much for even me to resolve. The crew got greedy the more treasure we found. Turned to killing each other. I didn’t wanna be a part of it anymore, so I up and left. Who knows what they're up to now.”
A grimace glazes over what was once a snarky smile on Y/n’s face. It sighs, patting Puffy's shoulder.
“Well, I don't blame you. What can ya do when there's too much greed in a family, y'know? That was always too much of a burden on ya, anyway.”
She doesn't say anything, but both it and her know that Y/n has a solid point. Despite this, there's still a saddening solemnness in the air. Y/n clears its throat before retorting back with a sly grin, “Ah, well, doesn't mean you can't enjoy a pint with an old friend now, aye? Come on and have a seat somewhere!”
Y/n’s cheerfulness is refreshing, there hadn’t ever been anyone like him that Puffy has ever met. Him ushering her to sit down really was like a blast to the past- their days on the ship at sea.
Velvet-cushioned stools lined up at the floor's bar, and Puffy pulled one out to take a seat. She turns to Y/n, who pulls out a seat next to her.
“Don't worry, drinks are on me this time.”
And with a sly grin, he drops the same velvet pouch filled to the brim with gems on the table. Puffy frantically checks her pockets before sighing in defeat, chuckling.
“You really haven't changed one bit, have you?”
The gaps in your hearts (Part 2)
Lou Miller x fem!reader
A/N: You asked for part 2, and I shall deliver. I hope it's worth your wait!!
Summary: After your departure, an unexpected circumstance had you arriving back at the loft, back at Lou. Will the gaps in your hearts only become wider or will they be finally filled?
Part one
Tumblr media
“Oh, bugger. Baby? I’m home.”
“Nice place.”
“Try heating it.”
“There’s a room for you upstairs. Your stuff’s upstairs too.”
Lou called your name a couple of times but she got no answer. Maybe you went out and got something from the store. She furrowed her eyebrows at the notion that you didn’t let her know you’ll go out like you usually does.
She can’t wait for you to meet Debbie.
The sun has set down and you weren’t at home yet. Lou was growing worried each minute that passes. She’d left you text messages, she tried to call you several times, but all of it went to voicemail. Where did you go?
Debbie had returned from her closure meeting with Claude. She had bought takeout for dinner but Lou wasn’t in any mood to eat. She was antsy but keeping it down so her friend won’t notice. Maybe you were called in at work? Maybe you went out with a friend and forgot to send her a text. The blonde knows you can perfectly take care of yourself but she can’t help but be worried.
“Where’s your girl?” Debbie asked, reminded of Lou calling someone ‘baby’ when they arrived earlier.
Lou just shrugged her shoulders, not really knowing what to answer.
“Maybe she hit her head and woke up from the truth,” the brunette joked.
Lou glared at her friend. “Not funny.”
“Tell me about her.”
The blonde started to tell her friend everything. From how you met, the ups and downs of your relationship, and how loving and wonderful you are. You were patient and understanding; you were perfect in every way and she hated how she’d managed to hurt the one person that did nothing but love her.
The day you moved out of the loft was the most devastating day of her life. It was way much worse than when Debbie left before.
She knew that you were checking in on her through Matt, and she was wracked with guilt. Even after what she’d done, you still care for her. Lou unconsciously checks her phone to see if you left a message but to no avail. You really honoured your word that you’d give her time, and she was thankful for that.
In your two-month break, she really had thought about it all. She used the time to sort out her feelings. Hell, she even opened up to some of her other friends for help, something she rarely does even with those who know her. Unearthing her feelings.
Lou had feelings for Debbie. She didn’t know if it was romantic or if it was just a deep affection. She didn’t really think much of it. Debbie was one of the few of the persons she knows she could trust with her life and in the conworld, such a person was like a rare gem. It was hard to find, and if you do, you’ve got to treasure it. And so she did.
“Maybe you’d mistaken the concept of love and affection. You told me you really didn’t think anything about it and that explains it. The moment you felt that that person was dear to you, you immediately equated it to romantic love.”
The words mentioned had hit Lou, hard. Once she realized that, she promptly had to find you. She called you, but you didn’t answer. She didn’t know where you were staying so she asked your friends, and that’s how Lou found you drowning in liquor in some alley.
“You’re an idiot, you know that?” Debbie berated, feeling rather guilty about how she was probably the reason you left for the second time around.
“I do. No need to remind me.”
“I’m gonna tell you to go find her, but I also need you to focus on the job. Can you do both?”
“Of course,” Lou sighed. She won’t know what she would do if she were to lose you for real this time.
-
You were feeling rueful for leaving Lou without a word. You knew she’d be worried sick, but it was the best for the two of you. Once again, you fell into your routine. It was incredibly helpful that an event was coming and you can spend all of your time at work. Though this time, the constant drinking was out of your to-do list.
Your mind often wandered to Lou. She said something about a job, maybe that’s what they’re doing right now. Has she been thinking of you too?
The messages and missed calls Lou had sent you were not in your knowledge as you’d let your best friend hide your phone, and bought a new one for you. At first, you thought that it would be ridiculous and childlike of you but maybe she had a point. The worst-case scenario would be Lou filing for a missing person’s case, but you knew she wouldn’t dare cross paths with the police.
-
“Oh my god, you guys. This party is nuts. I’m not kidding! If your dress is ugly, you can’t wear it, no shit! They will bower your wardrobe!” Tammy rambled and rushed to get into the loft where she got everyone’s attention.
“I love that!” Lou quipped.
“Oh I gotta pee,” Tammy continued to ramble. “Every table cost a quarter-million dollars that if they allow you to buy one! I mean not just any $250,000 check will be approved, I mean they literally have to tell you whether or not they’ll take your money, it’s crazy!”
Everyone was standing outside the bathroom, still listening to Tammy rant about the Met.
“And then you can’t bring anyone, that you clearly go by yourself. They spend a hundred grand on food and apparently no one eats, it’s really crazy,” the blonde finished as she went out, kind of out of breath from the continuous rambling.
“Did you get the seating chart?” asked Debbie.
“The what?”
“The seating chart.” Tammy handed the special glasses she was wearing to Debbie.
“If I haven’t said it, it’s really crazy. This one person that I’m working with maybe is the only saving grace of that place. Thank goodness for Y/N,” the blonde sighed, capturing the attention of Lou.
She shared looks with Debbie, hoping that it was you their friend was talking about.
After discussing the seating chart, they approached Tammy and straightforwardly asked about you, if you were the same person she’d mentioned. Apparently, you quit your last job and had started few weeks prior to Tammy. Lou asked if you’re doing well, and almost cried when she nodded. When Tammy asked why they are curious, Debbie answered. “Lou’s girl. Left because of this dumbass right here.”
The blonde had a surprised expression on her face, a bit amazed at how small the world is. The person they’ve been looking for was only at their reach this whole time.
“She’s sweet. If you’re planning to get her back, which I know you would, you better not mess up.”
Since that day, Lou was itching to contact you but inhibited herself. She’d finish the job first, then she would have you back. If she was lucky enough to be given a second chance, which she wouldn’t fucking waste, she can finally go to California riding with you on her new bike like you always wanted to do.
Finally, it was the first Monday in May. Lou was still in the van with Nineball, preparing food for her. She remembered you telling her she would look good in a chef’s uniform. She wasn’t actually a chef right now, but she still owes you a hundred bucks.
What if you weren’t gone? Maybe you would be in on the heist too, and you would be the most beautiful woman in her eyes, everyone else in the Met is damned. She knew you would have loved and drooled over the green jumpsuit she was wearing.
The heist was successful, and the ladies were lounging at the loft. Their dillydally was halted when an unexpected guest has stormed the loft. Daphne Kluger.
“You guys are fucked,” the actress huffed. “Wow, nice place.”
“Excuse me, you are trespassing-”
“No, we asked her to come,” Lou cut Tammy’s accusation.
Debbie started to explain how Daphne might have gotten a sense of what they were doing, so they roped the brunette in. Daphne then asserted how she was the one who was saving everyone from insurance fraud. Another revelation had caused panic to those who didn’t know, scared that they might be busted and imprisoned.
“We will not be the prime suspect.”
“Then who will be the prime suspect?”
Lou listed several people like the security guys and the busboy. Their attention was focused on Daphne that they didn’t notice another person coming in. You quietly opened the door in purpose, glancing at each of the women inside. You’d heard the last bit of their conversation and captured their attention by announcing your presence.
“The shady guy who put Debbie away,” you casually commented, walking towards everyone.
“Wow,” Daphne chuckled. “The boyfriend.”
Everyone but Debbie and Daphne was shocked, for the third time around. They didn’t really expect guests today. Lou looked like she had seen a ghost but didn’t take her eyes off you.
“Yup. If they were gonna be looking for somebody, just had to make sure it wasn’t one of us.”
You whispered a “Hi, Tam” to your coworker, and took a sit in the middle of her and Daphne. “The precision, right?” the actress turned to you. “The attention to detail, a little grace note that really makes something sing.”
While she was blubbering about how well-thought the job was, she scooted closer to you and put a hand on your thigh. Lou raised an eyebrow at the action, jealousy bubbling in her chest.
“Why are you doing this?” Tammy asked, referring to Daphne. “And Y/N? You were in too? How?”
You let the brunette answer first and when she finished, Debbie had answered for you.
“She was our other mole in the Met, aside from you and Nine.”
“Oh, you were an angel, Y/N. She made sure I was okay after hurling my guts out. Much much better company than my date,” Daphne preached, leaning her head on your shoulder. You rest your head on hers in return.
Lou’s jaw was gritted, it was too much for her and she couldn’t look any longer. She looked at Debbie and gave her a perplexed look, asking for further explanation.
The brunette just shrugged her shoulder, knowing it was up to you to talk to Lou. After all, it was the reason she approached you. At first, she had only talked to you about Lou, but later called to ask if you were willing to join in the job. You’d said yes right away.
That night, you saw Lou sitting near the shore. She was staring straight ahead as you sat next to her.
“Lou?”
“You know, I planned to talk to you after we got the money. But you got to me first,” she whispered.
“You have to thank Debs for that.”
Lou chuckled, “Debs? What, you’re on a nickname basis now? She doesn’t even let me call her that.”
“She told me everything. And, I- I’m sorry, Lou. I shouldn’t have left like that, left you worried though you had a job to focus on-”
Lou cut you off as she pulled you in for a hug. “No, Y/N. I should be the one apologizing.”
Her hand was running up and down your back, the touch soothing all of your troubles. You can finally feel at peace. There was no snarling voice at the back of your head, no heavy feeling. You feel like a sailor in the middle of a calm sea.
“I’ll make it up to you, for real, this time,” Lou pulled back, giving you a smile. You nodded in return.
“Although you may have to explain first what was that earlier,” her smile faded, and glared at you playfully.
You were about to ask what she was referring to when you suddenly remembered. You told her how you may or may not have told Daphne that you were on a rough patch and she volunteered to help make Lou jealous. Both of you shared a laugh as she commented on how effective it was that she had to restrain herself from tearing you apart from the actress.
There was no time to waste, you thought as you pressed your lips against Lou’s. The kiss was slow and passionate, the both of you pouring all your feelings out. Her hand entangled itself on the base of your skull as she deepened the kiss, tongue swiping on your bottom lip asking for entrance. You let her dominate you, a soft moan coaxed out of your mouth.
The only thing you could focus on was the feeling of Lou’s lips; your hammering heart and the waves lapping gently at the shore.
“I love you, baby,” Lou murmured, both of you breathless.
“I know, Lou. I love you too.”
A Precious Find
A Happy August Birthday to @v1ser1on! I hope you like it!
It seemed like just a few months ago.
It was a sorry excuse for Link’s forgetfulness, but it was true. The fact that an entire year had passed since the two reunited in Hyrule field was something Link hadn’t even considered until Beedle said it, Link’s mouth gaping and his face looking as if all the blood had been drained from it.
“Crazy that it’s been whole year since the castle was all cursed, huh?”
Yes, it was crazy. It was beyond crazy that Link and his love had enjoyed an entire year of peace, real, true peace. It seemed like a lifetime and a couple weeks all at once.
“Why, all my life the castle has been off limits.” Beedle didn’t seem to notice that Link was gazing into the distance, panic slowly rising near his ribcage. Link wasn’t sure if the pinging panic originated from his heart or his lungs. “Now it’s a treasure trove of riches that has boosted the economy full-throttle.”
Anniversary.
Their first anniversary and Link had to be across the land at the Rito stable. He came here to visit with the Rito elder, to go through the new trade routes and treaties that the former princess had laid out for him, herself absolutely having to stay behind and study the growth of a new variant of flora she had named after her father.
Did she know when she sent Link off that their anniversary was approaching, that in a few days time it would have been a year since they met lips and reacquainted breaths? Was she heartbroken?
“Beedle.”
It wasn’t until Link suddenly said the name of the traveling merchant that Link realized Beedle had kept talking. About what, Link had no idea. He almost felt guilty, but the deed was done.
“What do you have for sale today?”
Beedle’s expression changed to pure joy, pulling out his portable shelf and laying on top of it a few different items, some rushrooms, a few dead lizards, and a bundle of bomb arrows. Link pursed his lips and worry struck his heart like a bolt of lightning.
“Do you have anything more…” Link wasn’t sure how to word it without wearing his heart on his sleeve. “Precious?”
His relationship with the former princess of Hyrule was no secret, but he wasn’t ready to show the world how red his cheeks could get when thinking about her, wasn’t ready to be teased about something so important to him. He tried his best to keep his stoic stance, as if he were buying a standard bundle of arrows and not looking for something that was even a small fraction of her beauty.
“I do! As a matter of fact,” Beedle said, Link breathing a sigh of relief as Beedle took away the first three items and began to rummage into the depths of his pack. However, the first thing erased Link’s hope completely. It pulsed with red veins and Link was fairly certain that it was one of the five Lynel guts that Link had sold him over a year ago. Beedle placed it down on his portable shelf as if it were the rarest crystal. Although she might have taken some delight in researching it, he remembering her dissecting one not a month ago. It was nothing new and nothing special.
“Hard to find these anymore,” Beedle said, attempting to make the sale. “There haven’t been any Lynels in this land ever since the castle was accessible but you’ll find that these guts are a valuable commodity not only in brewing potent potions but also in exotic recipes. Why, I hear that the Gerudo even—”
“Beedle, I hate to interrupt you again, but when I said precious, I…”
Link hesitated. He leaned in closer.
“I kind of meant something one might give to a young lady,” Link said quietly.
Something that might impress a former princess, who once had access to the finest jewels and all the guardian parts she could have ever wanted.
“Oh!” Beedle exclaimed, putting the Lynel guts away and this time really looking in his gargantuan pack. “I had no idea!”
Half of his body was in the bag by the time he finally said “Aha!”.
“I didn’t think I would ever sell this,” Beedle said as he pulled out a necklace with a gold chain that eventually looped around a very small charm, a unique gem that Link had never before encountered. The sunset-pink hue matched no rupee, no ore, only matching the pastel shade of her cheeks when Link made her blush. Link’s fingertips grazed the jewel gently, marveling at how it caught the light.
“Unfortunately the apocalypse isn’t the best market for jewels,” Beedle explained. “People want to sell them, not buy them. When resources are scarce, a necklace just doesn’t measure up to a loaf of bread or a bundle of arrows. Perhaps selling this means that people have started to live again.”
“How much?” Link said weakly, the thought of giving it to his beloved overwhelming his otherwise serious nature.
“Three thousand,” Beedle said, Link looking up quickly with what Beedle thought was shock at such a high, high price. “I’m sorry but even diamonds are less rare than the rose quartz. My bet is that they were mined dry a long time ago. Someone like me finding it was just a streak of luck.”
Link shook his head.
“No, no,” he said. “There’s no need to apologize. The price is more than reasonable, I…I have enough rupees, it…it’s just so perfect.”
Beedle’s smile was more genuine than Link had ever seen it, although it did grow when Link handed him the rupees.
“What’s her name?” Beedle asked, handing over the precious necklace, that shimmered in the sunlight.
Link blushed at the thought, and the name he spoke in that moment was the one of the young lady that he rushed to afterwards, racing to the nearest shrine and hurrying back home to Hateno.
“Zelda.”
Hello! May I please request headcanons with the buster bros (+Samatoki? If that’s okay!) with an S/O who is into anime + idol (rhythm) games? Thank you! Hope you’re having a good day/night 💙
A/N: *Rubs hands together* Buckle up yall, this is a long one. I may have had too much fun writing this... :p lol enjoy~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ichiro Yamada
Ichiro first saw you at a manga cafe rocking some merch from your favorite game franchise and had to go over and talk to you
he also found out that you're into anime too
he may try and quiz you to test how into games/anime you are
his eyes light up and his heart pounds but he plays it cool
after a long interrogation conversation, he asked if you would meet him back at the cafe next week
he lent you the latest issue of a light novel that you never got around to reading
now he would have an excuse to see you again
a few months later one of your favorite animes was being played in the theatre once so you both went on a date to see it
if its a sappy rom-com he will 100% deny that he cried and brush it off as an eyelash caught in his eye
but he totally did
to be fair you did too
though he may prefer light novels over anime most times
he will totally sit down at watch the new season of an anime you two enjoy together
prepare for a brain malfunction if you tell him you're into cosplaying
"oh yeah I cosplayed them a year ago"
"y-you wouldn't happen to have any pictures, w-would you?"👀"
*cue nosebleed*
"That's it, I've found my soulmate" he says he's kidding but actually means it
ANYWAY
him being a weeb
Ichiro is also well versed in rhythm games
he will tell you if your waifu/husbando is trash or not
you both have your own little superstitions and rituals you do before gacha pulls
you might use a certain finger to click the screen because that's the lucky one
Ichiro turns the volume up and closes his eyes before clicking
"What no way!! CLICK MY SCREEN! YOU'RE LUCKY TODAY!"
"AHHH thank you y/n! Look at them! They're so cute!"
you both marvel over the cute characters
he is totally impressed by the songs you can do on pro/master
"NO WAY A FULL COMBO?!?!! You're amazing!" 😍
he will totally challenge you to see who can get a better score
but you always win
he did come close a few times
but gets flustered and flubs it up at the end when you're watching over this shoulder
he finds it cute when you're humming along to the songs while DESTROYING the beat map
Bonus+
*you unbox a package left on the doorstep to find a scanty cosplay* "Ichiro, what is this?!?" "What? I thought you would look cute in it" ;p "I'm not dressing up as your favorite idol!" "wh- babe why not?!" :"( "ok maybe..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jiro Yamada
Like Ichiro, Jiro is a big nerd too
you two met in a soccer match of all places
you were taking a break during halftime when you quoted a line from some weird obscure anime
"No way you watch ___ too? I thought I was the only one!"
you haven't seen each other before because you're on different teams from rivalling schools
after the game he gives you his number then the rest is history
you two end up messaging each other all night talking about other animes and games you enjoy
he likes sports animes along with action and adventure
you also found out he plays rhythm games too
after a while, he'll invite you over to the Yamada household and show you his collection of light novels and games
"There's more where this came from, my big bro is a bigger nerd than I am."
you'll sit down on his bed and show each other your cards and play a few songs
"Jiro why is your tap sound louder than the music!?!?"
"I need to hear the beats or I'll fail the stage!!"
He might challenge you to see who can get a higher score
you both play on hard
but you're pretty evenly matched
"Haha! That's a point for me, y/n!"
"No fair! I don't know that song very well..."
If you don't have the best gacha luck Jiro will cry with you during your loss
he's not much better...
"NOOOO I PULLED THE WORST ONE"
and because of that, this boy spends all of his allowance on gacha...
"Jiro, don't tell me you actually bought a gacha pass..."
"I SPENT ALL OF MY GEMS TRYING TO GET THEM SO I HAD TO!"
"JIRO!!!"
"Y/N PLEASE, I NEEDED THEM!!" (╥_╥)
Bonus+
"Here Jiro I got you this." He excitedly opens the package. "No way! A ___ Figure??!" "They're your favorite right?" "YESS" He sets the figure down and bear hugs you. "Thank you y/n, I'll treasure this forever!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saburo Yamada
Saburo picked up anime from his brothers
they would all watch action animes together as kids
until Saburo started a fight with Jiro and they tried to one punch each other out of existence
"HEY GUYS CUT IT OUT YOU'RE NOT FRIKKIN SAITAMA"
ahem. moving on...
Saburo is a nerd too
but he may be a bit more casual (in his own way)
he spotted you playing a rhythm game in the corner of the hall during lunch break
"Is that _____? I play ______"
"Oh really? Whos your favorite?"
"What? you like them?!? You have no taste..."
"W-what?! Shut up! their cards always have good stats!"
"But look how pretty this one is!"
you two quickly become friends and meet up every lunch and discuss things like your methods to preserve gems
Saburo likes making charts and spreadsheets to predict what event will be next and what characters are featured
"Haha! look y/n I totally called it!"
He likes collecting cards and comparing the stats
cause that's fun too I guess :/
He must assemble the best possible unit
I can see you two having competitions to see who can get the best score
or who can rank higher in an event
Saburo is very good at analyzing the beat map at first glance
he will also point out patterns he sees to try and help you understand the rhythms
he usually plays on hard and pro
while you do pretty well on normal or hard
he likes a good action/fantasy anime
but he likes sci-fi too
maybe even mystery
he was nervous asking you over to his place to watch anime
because you suggested a slice of life rom-com
does this mean he makes a move or you just watch it together and that's it O_o
Bonus+
"Yes! New high score! Y/n, did you see that?" You giggle. Good job Saburo. You lean over to kiss his cheek then see the smoke coming out of his ears. "Y-y/n!" *blush blush* "Hehe, you're so cute when you're nerding out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Samatoki Aohitsugi
Rio invited Samatoki out to a neat cafe because they offered cool exotic blends
When they walked in Samatoki was intrigued spotting your crazy colored hair and tattoos from the corner of his eye
which was weird cause that's not his type
or maybe it was
After ordering the coffee and sitting down Rio noticed that he was distracted
"I see you staring, why don't you go over and talk to her?"
"I wasn't staring! But there's just something about her..."
you were sitting in the corner of the cafe reading manga when he approached you a few minutes later
"uh hey, I like your tattoos"
"Oh thanks! Do you watch___ too?"
*casual panic* "Oh yeah totally, what are you reading?"
You knew he was faking it but continued anyway
"Eh, what's the difference?" 😮 "The difference is--"
He didn't know much about what you were saying but he loved watching you talk about something you were obviously passionate for
through an hour or so of conversation, you realized you both had more in common than you thought
he asked if you would like to do something like this again and gave you his number
You were happy to explain plots of random animes and games to him
Samatoki may not get the appeal but he likes seeing you happy
You go on a few dates and make your relationship official
he's absolutely fascinated by you and your nerdiness
"BABE!!!" "What is it?! Are you ok!?" "I JUST GOT A SSR CARD OF (insert favorite character here)"
Tch, *rolls his eyes. "That's good, right?" "LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE!"
he may get a little jealous watching you fawn over you your fav
"Hmmph, why would you want a fictional character when you have a real man right here?"
*author sobs* :")
you let him try a song on normal difficulty
but it is still hard for him
"What the hell! Why are these notes coming at me so fast?!"
He doesn't pick up any manga or light novels
but he likes watching anime with you though
preferably a good action and or adventure one
he may become more interested when the female lead shows up on screen
hey, eyes up here buddy >:(
he won't say it but he secretly likes romcoms
maybe cause Nemu used to watch them growing up
I can see him getting so invested he'll yell at the characters
"Are you stupid?? She's trying to confess to you! Moron..." he huffs
(he does this with cooking shows too)
Bonus+
"Samatoki come on! The next episode of ___ is airing! You rush into the bedroom. "Hey, have you seen my pho-" "Shut up, I'm trying- to win." You laugh hysterically at him stealing your phone to get a full combo. "You got this babe, I believe in you!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you for reading!

For headcanons how about Twilight who has never seen a rabbit discovers he is allergic to rabbit fur, or Time Sky and Legend compare their experiences time traveling, or as group cook Wild tracks what everyone eats and pays attention to what everyone likes or dislikes but gets frustrated because Fours keep changing
[So many good prompts but time travel my beloved. So take some 3 am bonding between these three ^u^ Hope you enjoy.]
Warning(s): Some spoilers for Skyward Sword and maybe Ocarina of Time and Oracle of Ages. Also swearing, but that’s just how I write them
Sky turned over for what felt like the fiftieth time. He turned onto his back with a sigh, rubbing at his eyes for a few minutes. Then he sat up, moving the sheets off him and touching his bare feet to the chilled hardwood floor of the Inn room. His gaze landed on the four other occupants of the room he had ended up sharing with.
Unsurprisingly, Wind was splayed out on his bed, sleeping peacefully, and causing Sky to let out a huff of laughter at the spot of drool collecting on his pillow. Warriors was on his back, still and stiff as he slept, while Hyrule was curled up in a ball with his back pressed against the wall. Legend's bed, however, was empty, the sheets thrown to end of the bed. His gear and boots were still in place at the edge of the bed. Sky furrowed his brow in confusion, though there was only one other place he could’ve gone.
Quietly, Sky walked over to the door to the room and slowly opened the door. He paused, listening closely to hear if anyone else had woken up when he had moved. With no new sounds of shuffling, the coast was clear, and he headed towards the main area of the Inn.
As he approached, the strong smell of what some of the others called coffee hits him, causing him to cover his nose at the surprisingly abrupt smell. If he wasn’t already struggling to sleep, that at least would have woken him up. Once he recovered, Sky continued, entering the lobby, and looking around.
There was a counter off to the side of the stairs, a woman with a beige apron and bandanna tying her hair back tiredly wiping it down. The room was relatively empty, no one sitting in the worn couches near the entryway and most of the wooden tables behind them empty of people. Sky could easily see two familiar figures sitting at one of the tables in the corner of the room. The Veteran sat slightly slumped forward, a steaming mug in hand, with the Old Man sitting across from him with a mug of his own, though it was suspiciously not steaming.
Sky approached the table, waving tiredly. Time acknowledged him with a nod as he took a seat while Legend raised an eyebrow.
"Couldn't sleep?"
Sky shook his head, crossing his arms and laying his head on top of them.
"Mind wouldn't shut up. Didn't hear you get up though."
At this, Legend chuckled, holding out his hand and flashing his many rings.
"Magic ring, let's me pass by unseen."
Sky looked impressed.
"Sounds pretty useful."
Legend smiled wider.
"Yeah, if only it existed."
Sky frowned, slightly glaring at the now laughing Veteran. Time was chuckling as well, taking a sip of his drink, the white streak on his upper lip showing that he was drinking milk.
The woman that had been behind the counter then approached with a tray at her side, looking at Sky, who now sat up straight.
"Did you want to order anything?"
Sky shook his head then paused.
"A glass of water maybe."
With a nod, the woman left then returned a moment later with a glass and a pitcher on her tray, placing them on the table and pouring water into it, the ice clinking as it hit the sides of the cup. Sky quietly thanked her as she left, watching as she returned to her station behind the counter, then he took a sip of his cold drink.
It was quiet, the three heroes quietly enjoying their drinks and lost in thought. The only audible sounds were that of the quiet creaks of the old building settling and the Inn worker moving around in her area.  Then Legend set down his mug with a sigh.
"The silence is killing me, someone start talking."
"About?" Time asked, raising an eyebrow.
"How about your adventures, not like there's very much else to talk about."
"Anything in particular?" Sky questioned, running his now cold fingers over his sleep tunic.
"Have any of you time traveled?"
Time subtly flinched, while Sky hummed in thought.
"A few times maybe, though not for particularly long. Unless you count items that altered time in a small area," Sky replied, ignoring the prickle of his skin at the thought of the final fight he had in the past. He scratched at his arm, hoping that the action wasn’t questioned.
"So? What did you do?"
"Well, there was Lanayru Mines and the Sand Sea. There were these gems called Timeshift stones that altered time in a small area. It was pretty mesmerizing to watch the sand turn into grass or water after striking the gems."
“Fascinating,” Time spoke, “just those two areas then?”
“Well, kind of? It was all over the Lanayru region in my area, all spread out and if you struck one, then the one you had struck earlier lost it’s power. I enjoyed myself quite a bit while there, especially once I found a few treasures I had never seen before, though that was just because I had never been on the surface before.”
“Treasures?” Legend perked up at that, eyes seeming to glitter slightly.
“What you and I consider treasure are quite different, my friend,” Sky chuckled, shaking his head with an amused smile, “The Timeshift stones brought back ancient things, including flowers and insects. I ended up with quite a collection of those flowers.”
Legend shrugged, leaning back in his chair, then turned to the Old Man.
"Being called the Hero of Time, I bet you've done some time traveling as well."
Time sighed, running a hand over his face.
"I have, though not all of it was particularly pleasant."
"You don't have to talk about anything you're uncomfortable with," Sky said, giving what he hoped was a reassuring smile.
"Well... there was the time I caused a particularly interesting time paradox," Time replied, smiling as he took a sip of his drink, “I learned a song in one time period that I then taught to the same man in the other time period.”
"Been there, done that, got anything more interesting?" Legend asked, crossing his arms with an unimpressed look on his face.
"I've done that too," Sky smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.
"Fine then, how about going through a dungeon twice, once in the past and once in the present?"
"Okay, I’ve done that too, but go on."
Time rolled his eye, then leaned back in his chair.
"There was this dungeon in the middle of the desert that I could only get to after proving myself to the tribe that lived there. Once I got access to the dungeon, I had to first navigate the desert wastes to get to the entrance and then go back to the past to go through it the first time. Took a fair bit of time too," Time spoke, though he sighed after that, "That was only one half of the place though, and I had to do the other half in the present. Though I didn't mind doing that, it took much longer than any other dungeon I had done before."
"I can understand that" Sky nodded, "the ship I had to enter while at the Sand Sea took longer to get to the end of than I thought it would, but it was quite enjoyable."
Then Sky and Time glanced at Legend.
"I don't believe you've talked about yourself just yet," Time spoke, raising a brow with his arms crossed.
"Okay okay, you're right. Give me a second to think," he sighed, taking a swig of coffee.
After a minute or two, Legend put the mug back down.
"My second or third adventure, hard to say which was which, I met an Oracle who could control time. I had to save her from this witch by using her Harp to travel through time myself. As far as interesting events, I stopped this one idiot from killing his ancestor and making himself no longer exist."
"Time paradox, been there, done that," Time smirked, Legend looking annoyed at being quoted.
"Fine then, I did some similar bullshit to you. There was this one cave that I had to go through in two different eras, had to switch it up while I was inside it which was all sorts of disorienting. Got a new item, fought a mini-boss and a boss, got an important quest thing, you know the drill.” Legend sighed, picking up his drink again, “Fucking water temples pain in the ass.”
He mumbled that next part, though Sky laughed quite loud, startling the poor worker and Time, the latter of which looked somewhat concerned at the outburst. Sky’s face burned with slight embarrassment, though he giggled for a while longer.
“It wasn’t that funny, Sky,” Legend rolled his eyes, though the self-satisfied smile betrayed how he really felt about Sky’s reaction.
When he finally calmed down enough to speak, Sky wiped the small bit of tears that had gathered at the corners of his eyes.
"That's pretty cool," Sky said, stretching his arms above his head, "So was that all you did then? Granted, I guess I didn't say anything much about my adventure."
"Eh, there really wasn't much else to talk about, I guess. Did some bullshittery, met some ancestors, and saved a different land and a few people. You know, regular hero stuff."
This earned a chuckle from all of them.
“You met your ancestors though? I think that’s a new one, if you’re willing to share some of it.” Time said, gesturing for the other to continue.
Legend sighed, running a hand through his hair and slumping forward.
“I guess it’s fine to share, but don’t expect me to tell you my life story or anything,” with an accepting nod from both heroes, Legend continued.
“His name was Sir Raven, and he was knight of Labrynna, the place I was saving at the time. He was serving the current Queen, and he knocked me around quite a bit when we first met. He was honorable, taught me a few things too. Of course, with my fucking around with time, I changed his history. He was a more high-ranking knight than before, not that anyone noticed though, so I guess that’s a win for me.”
“That’s really impressive though,” Time stated, “I think it’s more than others in our group can say as far as knowing our families.”
Sky nodded, taking a sip of his drink, then clearing his throat.
"Okay, I guess I have one more thing I could share. There was this guardian dragon in Lanayru, but in the present, he had died. I had to use the Timeshift Stones to talk to him and figure out how to revive him. It took a while, but I figured out he needed a specific magic fruit to get his strength back. Took some moving from place to place and going back in time to plant the seed, then back to the present to get the tree fully grown."
Sky drank some water then, watching Legend's interested look and Time's nearly rapt attention. With a smile, he continued.
"Then it was just a matter of delivering the fruit back to the desert via a robot who hated my guts."
Legend laughed at that.
"Somehow I can see a hunk of junk hating only you for no particular reason."
“Would you believe me if I said he had a crush on the spirit of the Master Sword?”
The admission caused the table to erupt in laughter, the joyful sound echoing in the quiet space. The Inn worker loudly shushed them from her place, Sky and Time shooting apologetic looks her way as they calmed down. When the laughter subsided, the three sat in silence again. It was only broken by a loud yawn from Time.
"I think it may be wise to at least try to sleep. We're heading out early after all."
The two nodded, watching as Time left a handful of rupees on the table and headed back up to his room. Legend sighed, running a finger along the rim of his now empty mug.
“He has a point, but I don’t see myself actually sleeping much tonight. Ah well.”
He stretched as he stood up, then turned back to Sky.
“You coming?”
“Yeah, just give me a bit.”
The Veteran shrugged, making his way up the stairs and back into the room. Sky sat alone for a moment, thinking about the other things he did on his adventure and how the happier picture he had painted didn’t quite match up with reality. Finally feeling the pull of sleep, he left his glass on the table with a handful of rupees, making his way back to bed and finally falling asleep.

Dad!Constantine AU: Rhiannon
first one shot in my Dad!Constantine AU but there is plenty more of this to come so enjoy and make sure to tell me what you think :D
"John? What's that? Is it a tool to help us practice today? John? Is tha-”
Constantine couldn't help but chuckle at the string of questions coming from behind him. He began to think about how less than a few months ago the little girl would barely say a word a day…now he can’t get her to ever shut up.
He turned around and looked down at the tiny figure that sat cross-legged on his rug, who only looked back up at him with confusion in her huge purple eyes. Unlike the ancient power that was leaking out of her, the child in front of him looked exactly as harmless as you'd expect a 7-year old to look.
With her dark-plum hair unevenly clipped short to reach her chin and choppy bangs to cover the red gem on her forehead, it really gave you the illusion that she was a normal human child. And John liked to pretend that the terrible haircut helped achieve a more ‘innocent’ look and in fact, better hid her demonic origins…but that was probably just his only defence against his conscience that nagged at him for not going to a professional.
But hey, she was the one that begged him to cut off her originally waist-length hair and he gave it his best shot with the tools at his disposal—which happened to only be a pair of kitchen scissors, an old magazine for reference and a faded ruler for 'accuracy', but at least Raven seemed happy enough.
He felt his lip tug as he remembered how she had childishly bobbed her head left and right in the mirror afterwards; enjoying the liberation of short hair.
It seemed Azarath’s refusal to cut her hair off was the only thing the kid seemed to dislike about the place.
In fact, she had thrown a near fit when John recommended they ditch the tattered white Azarathian robes he had found her in when he pulled her from the depths of hell. He looked at her current outfit and noted that she seemed to have grown quite comfortable with the human clothes given to her.
She currently donned a large purple knit sweater and a pair of baggy jeans with flowers sewn on the legs. They were probably in style twenty years ago and weren't even her size but John had limited knowledge on where to find children's clothes(or about children in general) and assumed she'd just 'grow into them someday' when he had chosen them from a local thrift store.
Again, as long as Raven liked them.
"This, my little angel, is a music record," he held up the square packaging to her and made a show of sliding out the large disk inside, "This plays music. They allow music up in that Azarath place of yours or just prayers?"
"In Azarath? No, not really," John noticed whenever that cult of her's was brought up, she'd always lower her tone and look down at her fingers as if apprehensive of speaking wrong of them—John didn't know why though, they sounded like a bunch of wankers to him, "Azar said that music is a distraction that would only disrupt my mind by causing me to feel...feelings."
John felt the melancholy in the air as she spoke. It was rare she shared anything; for a kid, she was pretty secretive and John couldn't help but push to know more about his new ward, "And that's a no go, ey?"
"Only for me." She seemed almost smaller now, trying to hide deeper in her baggy clothes—maybe that's why she never pushed for more accurately sized clothes, "The others would sometimes gather to sing mantras in the courtyard as that’s the only type of music allowed but during those times Azar would always put me in the highest tower so I never really heard anything but muffles.”
John sighed.
Sometimes he didn't know if those quacks in Azarath wanted to actually raise Raven or terminate her but the more he learnt, the more he found the answer leaning towards the latter.
He crossed the living room in one large step and kneeled to be face to face with the little girl who stared up at him, nervous, "Listen, angel, I don't know much about Azarathian chants but I do know...", this time he allowed the girl to touch the record—though gently, "Fleetwood Mac. The best band in the world."
"What makes them so special?", Raven asked softly as she marvelled at the disc in her hand; holding it like it was a precious treasure.
John smiled— something he found himself doing a lot of since the arrival of this certain hellspawn. Plucking the records from the girl's small hands, he stood up and reapproached the player he was standing by, "Let me tell you a little secret in the magical community, love."
He placed the record on the player before dropping the pin and quickly turning, excited to see the reaction on the girl's face. Raven just looked confused, her mini caterpillar eyebrows scrunching up on her forehead as the guitar intro began.
"Rhiannon rings like a bell through the night And wouldn't you love to love her?"
He plopped onto the floor next to Raven and turned to her, "You hear her? Like a voice from heaven, innit?"
The little girl just nodded, probably unsure of the right answer.
"Takes to the sky like a bird in flight And who will be her lover?"
"Her name is Stevie Nicks and she's...one of us," He made a gesture of pointing between both of them to symbolise his point, his smile growing as her amethyst eyes twinkled in interest, " The 'White Witch' we call her but non-supernatural's don't know nothing about that, all they hear is the music but we, we can truly hear her."
"All your life you've never seen Woman taken by the wind
Would you stay if she promised you heaven? Will you ever win?"
Taking her tiny palms in his, he instructed, “Now I want you to focus on your inner soul.”
She obediently followed instructions, letting her eyes fall closed and she instantly shifts to focus mode with an expression as still as a statue.
"She is like a cat in the dark And then she is to darkness
She rules her life like a fine skylark And when the sky is starless"
Through her delicate skin, he could feel her once-raging magic begin to ease from the form of a ceaselessly pouring tsunami to simple irregular waves in a vast ocean.
"Would you stay if she promised you heaven? Will you ever win? Will you ever win?"
See, with Stevie Nicks being a witch herself, it only makes sense that some of her magic got laced inro all her music. Magic that had the properties to almost soothe one's magical core and opened up internal gates that were causing a blockage in one's being.
Similar to meditation. Just a whole lot more fun.
John simply didn’t believe in all that meditation stuff that Raven so pliably relied on and if he was going to take her in, it was his duty to teach her the many other ways she can control her abilities.
"Rhiannon Rhiannon Rhiannon Rhiannon"
"I can feel it...I can feel what she's saying." Raven's voice was so soft that John almost didn't catch what was spoken.
Suddenly there was an intense spike in the calm aura that's once surrounded them. He felt the hands in his grasp tense as her once still expression drastically changed.
"She rings like a bell through the night And wouldn't you love to love her?"
Her small face was soon blown in full panic. Sweating like bullets, her already drained of life skin seemed even paler and the strength she used to struggle suppressed what a child of her stature should be able of achieving but John made sure to hold tight.
"She rules her life like a bird in flight And who will be her lover? All your life you've never seen Woman taken by the wind"
"John I don't like this! I...I can feel too much... make it stop!", Her eyelids shuddered as she seemed to be forcing them to stay shut.
Continuing to wiggle in his grasp, the magic concentration in the room got thicker and thicker making it harder to breathe but this was exactly what needed to happen and John knew this. So even though her hurting voice made his heart shatter, he had no choice but to steel his resolve in the face of her cries and just hope it will pay off, “John!? John, please….DAD!”
John didn’t know what hurt more, the way her demonic magic was stabbing him like shards of glass in his skin or the pain in her voice as she called him the title he never in his life thought he’d be referred as.
"Would you stay if she promised you heaven? Will you ever win? Will you ever win?"
“This is all your magic, angel, you got to feel your magic. Can't just lock it up, this is all you,”, he gritted his teeth while he was explaining, and filled with some unknown determination, he spat out a phrase he normally tried to avoid, “you have to trust me.”
Raven’s eyes flew open at that, revealing the orbs of amethyst that were wetting with tears. Her little mind struggled to wrap around the statement John had just said and for a moment she just stared at him. It felt like the longest moment of John’s life because he knew her empathic abilities could see the nervous wreck he truly is and he worried that would dissuade her.
For a second there was no action.
"Rhiannon Rhiannon Rhiannon"
Until, much to John’s surprise, she nodded, “ok…I trust you.”
And John could literally feel the truth in her words as she stopped struggling in his hands and started to return back to the focused zone she had been in before.
This time though, her eyes were open and staring straight at him but John found himself not minding.
“Good.” John took on the role of closing his eyes as he began to concentrate.
"Taken by taken by the sky" "Taken by taken by the sky" "Taken by taken by the sky"
He wasn’t going to just burden a 7-year-old with whatever destructive sorcery that was sealed in her small body, it was his job as her teacher and her…dad to try and guide the freed magic back to her core.
But for that, he needs to concentrate real hard.
The moment John could feel air moving in his lungs again, he knew he had succeeded. Opening his eyes up, he was met with the same pools of purple still staring.
“So, how’d you feel?”
"Dreams unwind Love's a state of mind Dreams unwind Love's a state of mind"
That was when Raven finally broke eye contact and instead looked down at her fingers, not in nervousness but this time in amazement, as if she could see the magic in her fingertips, “I don’t know…tingly.”
This time Constantine let a deep genuine laugh escape his throat at her childish choice of words, “That’s good, means your magic is finally spreading. If you ask me that’s a better option than keeping it all sealed up.”
Raven tilted her head to the side, once again confused.
Constantine didn’t blame her though, her little head was probably going through something similar to a whirlwind at this point.
After all, in her first few years of life, she had lived a life of nothing but restriction and then he spawns from nowhere finds and brings her from hell, seals her oh-so scary father in said hell and then begins to dismantle everything she’s ever been thought to believe in, in the first place.
Must be a lot for a 7-year-old to bear.
Luckily though, Raven is 7 and they aren’t known for dwelling on things for too long.
“Do you have any more songs like that?” She asked, now focused on the player that stood in silence now that the record had reached its end.
John smirked at that, “Oh plenty more of where that came from and we aren’t gonna stop at just Fleetwood, we got some Zeplin, Rolling Stones and…”
Raven just nodded, again, not knowing the right answer and simply letting herself be ‘educated’ on all things that John Constantine had to offer.
In her opinion, this was far more fun than her old teachings.
yes I got the Stevie Nicks is a witch from ahs coven, so expect a lot more supernatural TV crossovers in this AU cause they're now my obsession
