I was hoping you could do something a little differently like eddie/reader are dating and his friend who's had a crush on him tries to break them up etc I'm always reading fics where reader is the best friend and eddie breaks up with the gf for her and tbh I want to see it the other way around where the gf is really sweet and nice and his friends tries to break them up but eddie choses the reader instead bc well he loves her.

Her giggle used to be cute in middle school but now you just found it infuriating…

Ever since that time she bought weed from Eddie for this homecoming party, Chrissy Cunningham started to make appearances around your friendship group when you least expected it.

Objectively you knew that she was kind, that she was gorgeous and undeniably charming.

The problem was that she was kind and charming towards the guy you were dating.

You and Eddie had not expressly said that you were exclusive and up until Chrissy started inviting herself you hadn’t felt the need to express what you and Eddie were. Everyone else just sorta knew, by the way his hand always seemed to find yours. How your chair more or less always was empty, because Eddie's lap was your preferred seat, with his hands around your waist, his chin resting on your shoulder.

You did your absolute best to not let Chrissy's presence bother you too much, even though her flirting with Eddie was absolutely obvious, and the fact that it never seemed like she ever thought that you were an obstacle in her plan.

The rest of your friends all seemed to really enjoy having Chrissy around, which first of all made you annoyed.

Didn’t they see how she threw herself at Eddie, an in-every-way-but-officially taken man? It also meant that you couldn’t vent the annoyance and self doubt that floated around in your mind with someone.

This only spurred on the annoyance within you further.

It all peaked this one wednesday when your math teacher was “disucussing consequences” with the entire class,when only about two people in the class had disrupted her lesson. This resulted in you being well over 12 minutes late for lunch.

Eddie and the rest of your friendship group were waiting for you outside your classroom when a certain cheerleader with her perfect ponytail walked up to them.

“Ooo! Hi guys, fancy seeing you here?” Chrissy said, putting her manicured hand on the leather clad bicep that belonged to Eddie Munson.

He turned his head towards her and smiled at her, a gesture that from his view, was mere courtesy, but to her meant way more.

“You look good today,” Chrissy said to him, removing a strand of hair from his face delicately.

“Huh?” Eddie said, to be honest he hadn’t really listened to her, he was busy wondering and worrying slightly about the fact that your class hadn’t been dismissed yet.

Chrissy blushed when he looked at her. She didn’t feel like repeating her statement, it felt like it lost meaning when you said it more than once, so instead she just said;

“Are we heading to lunch?”

Eddie explained that they were headed there, but that they just had to wait for you first.

“Oh,” Chrissy said, “I was just thinking that we better get there before someone snags our table”

The other bought her reasoning but Eddie looked longingly toward the door that you were behind.

“Go on you guys,” he said. “I’ll wait for her”

This didn’t sit well with Chrissy. Eddie was the main reason behind why she wanted to have lunch with you guys.

“Cmon Eddie, I’m sure she’ll come join us later, she knows the way to the cafeteria” Chrissy said, tugging slightly on Eddie’s underarm.

He felt torn, all of his friends were waiting for him, but at the same time, you were expecting him to be there waiting for you.

“We’ll, uh, yeah I guess.”

You were indeed expecting him to be outside the door when you were dismissed 20 minutes later than you should have.

Your heart dropped a little as you saw a seemingly empty corridor.

I guess they grew too hungry. You thought and took off towards the crowded cafeteria.

Your hadn’t even entered when you saw it.

Chrissy in her short cheer-skirt, looking so incredibly perfect, perched up on the armrest of Eddie’s chair, chatting away to this jock and his girlfriend, and you noticed she made Eddie engage in the conversation.

That’s when another level of self doubt surrounding all of this,hit you.

You started to imagine what it would mean for Eddie, purely socially, if he was dating Chrissy.

She had a lot of say, and people trusted her judgement. If she dated Eddie then maybe people would stop treating him like utter garbage.

But only she had the mandate to do such a thing, you were about as low on the social ladder as any other nerd in the school.

It stung too much behind your eyes and you realised that you couldn’t keep it together well enough to enter the cafeteria and pretend that everything was fine. So instead you bolted, running away until you found a good place to hide and be alone with your thoughts.

That was how you ended up curled up in the dungeon master throne, in the dark drama room, hugging your own knees with tears trickling down your cheeks. All whilst your brain was telling you over and over again how you weren’t enough for him.

In the cafeteria Eddie was stressing over the fact that you hadn’t shown up yet.

He tried to bide the time, hoping that you would eventually show, but when you were a no show after 30 minutes he decided that he had waited long enough.

“I’m gonna go find her” he mumbled and rose from the chair, inevitably bumping Chrissy off the armrest as he did.

“Where are you off to?” She asked, obviously she hadn’t heard him.

He didn’t reply, he was way too focused on finding you.

He walked past your classroom, and found it empty when he glanced through the window.

He realised that something must have happened and he began to search in the different places where you usually went when you needed to be alone.

You weren’t in the forest behind school.

You weren’t under the bleachers.

You weren’t by his truck.

He however noticed that some muffled noises were coming from the drama room when he walked past, and smacked himself mentally for not checking there first.

“Sweetheart?” He called out as he opened the door. “You in here?”

You buried your face in your knees, hoping that he wouldn’t hear your sniffles and come find you like this.

Luck however wasn't on your side and soon he was squatting in front of the throne, a heavy comforting hand on your knee.

“Baby, did something happen?” He asked, one hand softly caressing the back of your head, trying to coax your head out of your own lap, but with no success. “Do I need to hurt someone?”

”No” you whimpered softly. “You can go back to her Eddie, I’ll be okay”

“Go back to who?” He asked, still slightly confused as to what caused you so much distress.

“Chrissy” you said barely above a whisper, you didn’t actually want to say it, because it could mean that he’d actually leave, but at the same time, he asked.

Eddie was dumbfounded for a minute, what did Chrissy have to do with anything?

Then realisation hit him like a ton of bricks.

Of course he had noticed Chrissy’s attempts, he wasn’t completely oblivious.

They meant nothing to him so he hadn’t bothered himself to much about it, but now he felt guilty when he realised that they had meant something to you.

“Baby, can you look at me,” he asked, feeling his own heart breaking for you more and more by every passing second.

You glanced up, unable not to when he sounded so soft.

“Eddie, I understand, she has things I’ll never have, she’s another level of gorgeous, she is smart, everyone loves her,” more tears gathered in your eyes as you spoke the words that had tormented your mind all morning,”she has a say in things Eddie.She's your shot to climb the social ladder and I think you should take it.”

Eddie's insides broke with every word you spoke.

”Sweetheart,” was all he got out in response as he was trying to figure out how to express the love he had for you in a way that made you feel it in every fibre of your being.

“Eddie, you don’t have to explain anything, I have come to realise that I am not her.” You said, looking at the puzzled man in front of you.

“That’s true” he said and the little dying hope inside was about to be put out, until he continued.

“And that’s why I want to be with you.”

You looked up at him properly this time, as if you couldn’t really believe what he was saying.

“What?”

“Can I hold you?” Eddie asked, he couldn’t see you hurt anymore without doing anything about it.

“Please” you pleaded, sounding so extremely tired of trying and failing to hold it together.

You got off the throne and Eddie got in it, then he opened his arms for you, which you quickly dove into.

You were with your back against Eddie chest, your head nuzzled in between his shoulder and cheek, inhaling the faint scent of musky wood and tobacco. The scent of Eddie.

“I”m sorry I never realised the way all her attempts were affecting you.” Eddie said. “If I knew I could have made it more clear to Chrissy, about us, I mean, I just sorta thought she’d figure it out and back off.”

“I’m sorry for feeling like this, I really tried not to..” you said, fiddling slightly with the rings that Eddie had on his left hand. “I mean it’s not that we’re official so I dunno …”

“Never apologise for that sweetheart, It’s a totally valid feeling and reaction.” He said and pecked the top of your head. Then he paused for a second, thinking. “Why aren’t we officially?”

You thought about it for a second.

“You want to be?” You asked, looking up into his soft brown eyes.

“Since the day we met gorgeous”

Hello! I was wondering when you have time, can I request wukong,macaque,nezha and Mk with an Angst to fluff with their s/o who got possessed in the fight with Lbd but then un-possessed s/o leaving them injured bc the attacks didn’t do as much damage as she thought?

I think I understand what's being asked but if I got it completely wrong please correct me! Also this is going to be Headcanons because it makes more sense for my brain ;-;

Wukong, Macaque, Nezha, and MK x S/O who was previously possessed by LBD (Angst to Fluff Romantic HC's)

Wukong - a wreck. Absolutely furious at himself for letting this happen to you, how could he be so stupid and let you be possessed by his enemy? Even worse, she had abandoned using you as her host and you were hurt! Probably trying ridiculously hard to keep up a positive front but he is breaking down on the inside. After it's all over he takes you back to Flower Fruit and gives you the best healing magic he can find. Lots of attention, and you'll have to reassure him you're okay and that it's not his fault because he 10000% thinks it is. He loves you very deeply, so the thought of losing you is just super overwhelming for him. He stays as close as you'll allow him to be while you recover, and is at your beck and call. This is a perfect time for you to either exploit this and get whatever you want OR coax him into doing self care with you. Or both :)

Macaque - beyond pissed. If anyone should've gotten hurt, it should've been him! You shouldn't have been anywhere close to this situation, and there you were being used as her host! As soon as he sees your discarded body he gets you someplace safe until the fight is over, and then he takes you home to help you recover. He might pretend to be a bit mad at you for having been involved but just know he doesn't really mean it, what he means is that he is utterly relieved you're okay. Once he has you set up with whatever medical supplies are needed, a drink, and a warm meal, he cuddles up to you and keeps watch while you get better. Apologizes over and over.

MK - this poor boy DOES break down. If he had done better, if he had been stronger, he could've stopped the Lady Bone Demon before she was able to possess you! He's crying a bit as he's fighting because he knows that you're probably in so much pain, just like he was whenever she was speaking to him. The fight ends, and he's absolutely RUSHING to get you home so you can get medical attention. He doesn't leave your side, he feels like if he does then something bad will happen to you. Similar to Wukong, he will find a way to get you anything you want, because you deserve the best, especially from him. Very clingy afterwards, but if you ask him to he will back off a bit so you can breathe.

Nezha - so so so concerned. How could he have been so blind? In dealing with Wukong and getting his ass handed to him he left you vulnerable! He feels incredibly guilty like he's let you down and multiple times throughout recovery he asks if you honestly want to keep being with him. He gets you to Heaven's best doctors, and urges you not to lift a finger until you're completely healed. He's super protective and may overreact to small things, just make grabby hands at him and he'll soften up and give you cuddles or whatever it is that you want.

On "Daddy Issues"

Ok, I know I'm a bit late to the game here, but I was gathering my thoughts after experiencing episode 5 and 6

Let me preface this with the fact that I am a Hazbin Hotel fan; it's cringe and it's not the best writing in the world, but I love the characters and the concept and the art. I know a lot of people disagree and completely despise it and hey, you do you, but this is a silly little thing I enjoy and think is fun

but oof. episode 5 and 6 were rough, execution-wise. Also worth mentioning that episode 5 followed on the heels of episode 4, which was dealing with a lot of heavy topics and gave Angel a lot of character development very quickly and had a wonderful song and a budding relationship between Husk and Angel that was fantastic, so to get a confusing and overwhelming yet completely inefficient episode (ep 5) and then an episode with SO MUCH HAPPENING that it absolutely bowled you over with plot points and world building that weren't given a single second to breathe was really disappointing. I'll put the meat under a read more, but that's the thesis

this post is just gonna be on episode 5, and I'll make another one on episode 6 bc christ almighty both of them are gonna be long

Episode 5 was something I was really looking forward to-- Of the main cast, Charlie and Vaggie seemed the least intriguing to me (oh, did I say "seemed" past tense? haha! they still most definitely are the least interesting!), and I wanted to see how they would introduce something they've been building up to for a while: Charlie's famed "Daddy issues"!

Turns out, instead of actually keeping it as a point of intrigue for Charlie's character and using it as a point of tension to show that hey, Charlie isn't actually a perfect person, and she's also in pain with the rest of the sinners because her own family relationships are falling apart, they solve it in a single episode. That's right! The long-awaited, complicated, divorced parent and child relationship that twisted Charlie into a validation seeking, people pleasing princess that "wants to fix other people so she doesn't have to deal with her own daddy issues" (quote by Husk) is solved with a charming performance by Jeremy Jordan and a song!

Look, it's no secret I'm a huge fan of Loser, Baby-- I clearly have no qualms with storytelling through song. But you cannot song-plain this one away. We've established over 4 episodes that Charlie and her father have kept in minimal contact for seven years. That's a Long time (don't go trying to be like, oh time to charlie works differently, bc that shit's not established, and everyone in the show still treats seven years like a long time). We know that the last time they called each other was 5 months ago.

"More than Anything," solves basically everything by making the following points

Charlie was inspired by her Dad's dreaming

Lucifer was ashamed of his failures and hid away from her

Lucifer does, however, want so so deeply to know Charlie

Charlie wants to know Lucifer

They love each other <3

these are fine endgame points. Dare I say... good endgame points to arrive at?? But you can't stuff ALL these revelations into a single song and call it a finished relationship arc when they haven't spoken for real in 7 YEARS. Also, making Lucifer so goofy and silly and fun and charming is Not helping the establishment of his character as a self-hating former dreamer who doesn't want his daughter to make the same mistakes he did. It just turns him to tumblr sexyman cute quirky sympathetic never did anything wrong and loves his daughter, completely downplaying his absentee parenting.

You can't have him turn from "I do not care about your life. I do not care about your project. I will not ask about your passions and your dreams. I am already ashamed of my own." to "ur so right bestie!!! dreaming is so slay mama!!! I love you so much you're my little baby girl I love you so much, you're right and I will support you!!!" in the course of a single episode without like.... at least 3 real, in depth conversations happening. The song is beautiful, but you can't poetry your way out of an actual relationship arc.

BUT! But, but but! The fault does not lie completely with Lucifer, but also with Charlie. girl just forgave him??? For everything????? Despite having been so scared to call him at the beginning of the episode? It's very unrealistic for a kid to just accept that a parent loves them apparently so so deeply when they've never seen proof of it in the last idk just spitballing a number here SEVEN YEARS. If you want to make the crux of a failed parent-child relationship miscommunication, you're gonna have to get into the ugly--- the grieving of what you could've had earlier, the wondering why you didn't reach out earlier, the anger at why they've suddenly changed now--- and you're gonna have to explain why the miscommunication went on so long.

sometimes, if you have a pair of completely uncommunicative people, seven years may be reasonable. But Charlie is open about her passions! She's public! She constantly reads about "The Story of Hell" and paints Lucifer in a positive light! And Lucifer is quick to reciprocate any interest Charlie shows in him! He's quick to offer help, to spoil Charlie and show love! (Lucifer's points are two points that make SEVEN YEARS of MINIMAL CONTACT and MISCOMMUNICATION make ZERO SENSE).

additionally, Charlie's lowkey only point of intrigue that was set up (her relationship to Lucifer, the King of Hell) is now just... kapoot. solved. pish posh. now she's a done character.

THEN EXPLAIN WHY I STILL DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT HER???? I haven't seen her actually struggle in a way that's not played off as a bit, we don't get a real charlie breakdown monologue, there are no stakes for me as a hazbin hotel viewer to want everything to go well for charlie besides my acab rad leftist ass being like redemption and forgiveness is good and ultimately benefits society

she's fun, she's bubbly, she's kind! but those are all basic things we knew from minute 1 she was on screen. I need to see her struggle. For a main character, she sure as hell doesn't feel main. And I expected better female characters from female writers (feat. in my next post, Vaggie????? What the hell?).

I was wondering if you would be willing to do something similar for Sanji being in a relationship with someone, and then his partner comes out to him as transmasc? a/n: hiiii sorry for taking so long on this but i absolutely wanted to the moment i saw it!! i've just been fielding a bit (a lot) of writer's block lately ;w;

reacting to his partner coming out as transmasc (Sanji)

transmasc reader, nonbinary Sanji at the end cw: transphobia, Sanji's internalized homophobia word count: 1.3k

Just a budding pirate at nineteen and horrendously closeted, he doesn't quite realize how his overt repulsion towards men has negatively affected you - he certainly doesn't want to think about it as those thoughts bubble to the surface when you finally sit Sanji down and set the record straight

How you've been learning more about yourself over the course of living with and leaning on your new nakama, seeing different kinds of people and feeling bits of your true self echo and reflect back at you through them, how you feel like even though it's scary, you know this is the best course of action for yourself from here on out

You wanted him to be the first to know, hoping that despite everything maybe he'd be able to put his hang-ups aside to focus on moving forward with you as a couple, addressing those underlying problems later on but together

Sanji doesn't

He's quiet as you explain everything, excitement clear but there is a wariness in your eyes he doesn't miss, he can feel the slight shake in your hands as you hold his

At the end of it, he gives you a pat on the shoulder and a stilted smile, lights another cigarette as he stands to leave with a mention that he needs some space to think for a while - then he's gone

Sanji feels like his world is crumbling, everything he did to be as "straight" as possible dissolving before his eyes, he doesn't notice how much he hurt you in his ignorance or maybe he knows but doesn't want to address it right now

It definitely creates a wedge between the both of you and you agree to separate for the moment, it also puts him at odds with other members of the crew - the awkwardness in the air that crewmates falling out would create in the first place aside

Zoro who never hid himself from day one doesn't pick on Sanji for fun anymore or answer his playful jests, when they spar it sometimes feels like Zoro actually wants to cut him down - he's never been one for being super open anyway but now Zoro doesn't even tolerate casual conversation with him

Robin still smiles at Sanji, she's still relatively the same around him, still thanks him when he flamboyantly swings around to serve delicately handmade afternoon snacks while confessing his undying love to her and Nami both; but something about her feels a hell of a lot colder than before - she's polite but cordial, she doesn't make little comments about his food like before and it's almost like she avoids his presence alone she can help it

Alone, however, after all the other Strawhats have gone to bed and it's just Sanji cleaning up the kitchen and her on night watch, is how she confronts him about all of this

Robin who's been stealth for as long as she can remember, asks Sanji if he'd stop fawning over her if he found out "the truth", she tells him that surely he's noticed her shift in attitude, how Zoro refuses to look at him in the eye let alone talk to him one on one, how it almost seems like she doesn't quite feel safe around him anymore

It's in that moment that Sanji realizes the weight of what he's done and just-- shatters; all his fears, his shame, the ugly internalized feelings he picked up in the process of learning to be a person, his anguish at all the hurt he caused you - Sanji had always loathed the kind of man who would cause his partner harm (and in his head that partner would always be a woman) just like how his father made Sora's life miserable, and now he'd become such a detestable thing, they all spill out onto the kitchen floor along his tears and the undercurrent of regret that flows with it

Robin tells him that she doesn't have to do this, that he's entitled to no one's time given the way he's acted, but a part of her still cares for him because she sees him struggling, hard enough to hurt someone close to him, that if he doesn't address this now he's only going to continue doing that - Sanji's eternally grateful for her patience and grace

He tells her over a cigarette for what it's worth (and he's aware it isn't much) he doesn't think of her any differently, she's just as much a woman now as she was all the days before but Robin doesn't need his approval for that, Sanji then hesitantly goes into the pained relationship he's had with masculinity, his biological father, Zeff, and how that all probably - no, definitely - fed into his sordid reaction, even though there's nothing that can excuse it

Robin is understanding from a small distance as he explains, at one point a hand manifests to soothe Sanji's back when he's in the throes of it, and later on she shifts closer to put her actual hand on his shoulder once his sobs even out

The smoke stings his eyes already raw from tears when Sanji lights another, expressing that even with how he's incredibly in Robin's debt for listening to him in such a low moment, that he regrets not being able to have this conversation with you instead, not that any of this could justify the awful ways he treat you, that he owed an apology to Zoro too, and the rest of the crew for acting this way

So that's exactly what Sanji does, he apologizes by way of his cooking - the next evening he makes everyone's favorites, having to skimp a little on breakfast for emotional reasons, but for dinner he goes all out, a silent apology for causing all this tension in the first place

A few nights later, he comes to you with a tray of your favorite treats, Sanji makes a mental note to thank Usopp and Brook for keeping the boys' quarters empty enough for this to happen, then mentally prepares himself to undergo that emotional turmoil one more time for him to be honest with you provided you even want to let him in; if you don't want to hear it he's more than understanding

But if you do, he explains it all over again, how this was never your fault and only had to do with his aversion to masculinity because of the male figures in his life, how Judge and his older brothers made him feel lower than dirt itself for even expressing positive emotion to the same gender, how even though Zeff raised him with the best intentions, his 'no talk/tough love' policy only served to make Sanji repress himself even more

He's once again a mess by the end of it but he's ready for the emotional outpouring and he's able to stiffen his lip enough to make it through to the end without pausing to just sob for a minute, literally on his knees with the sincerest (if not a tad dramatic) heartfelt apologies to give him another chance

You feel for him, you really do - like Robin, you see someone who's in a lot of pain and at odds with his own identity lashing out at the people around him, people whom he loves and reviles the idea of putting in harm's way

And that's precisely why even though you accept his apology, you tell Sanji you can't be with him the way he is right now, holding his callous hand with a pained, rueful smile of your own

Post time-skip Sanji is a lot more assured in themself, he's addressed all his hang-ups and sorted through their trauma and comes out a lot better for it, when you look at Sanji now you see a person with a solid grasp on themself, someone you're enthusiastic about rebuilding a friendship with now that you're both living as you are

And if it turns into something more, old sparks from both your ends get reignited, stifled loves finally allowed to bloom, you aren't bothered by the thought of that at all

hi sorry this took *reads clock* oh god this is from 8th of september oh christ i was procrastinating on finishing planet robobot bc i didnt want it to be over :c

anyways the short answer is i absolutely ADORE susie n shes easily one of the best antagonists

(note:my knowledge of anything being confirmed outside the implication of how susie knew sphere doomers and her 2.0 pause screen is non existent so uh lol if i get smth wrong? this is just how i connected the backstory lore drops in my head)

the long answer is i think shes extremely good at being sympathetic while still being extremely funny in an evil way, on one hand, i feel its very easy to understand what her deal is, she gets sent to hell as a child, crawls out of it likely already wondering deep inside why nobody came for her but too focused on reuniting with her father, only to find out not only has his work lost the purpose she knew of, but he didnt even know her anymore.i think it makes perfect sense with this shed end up not knowing what to do other than get back at him, like growing up in hell/space void/whatever man im sleepy will not result in you getting out fine and dandy specially if the person who mattered most to you, and who youd remember as your main reason to escape to reunite with, seems to not even care you were gone, and w having to fend for her life constantly, i can see why she wouldnt care for cooperating with his company as long as it leads her to the result she wants (of having haltmann remember and beg for her forgiveness), no reason girl wouldnt have a self benefit only survival sense

Wondering what your thoughts and opinions are on the rest of the jerk squad boys, especially Nate?

Know that asking me this was a mistake because I’m RABID for them. I’m FOAMING at the mouth and shaking just at being asked to ramble about my boys because I am plagued by thoughts of them that I’m absolutely going to unleash upon you now.

This is not going to be coherent at all. I apologise for that.

By the way— since I already talk about Shiloh way too much, he’s not going to have his little section here. If you want to see my rambles about him, please check my masterlist!

I’m probably going to talk about Jeremy separately because…. I actually haven’t finished his route. It’s the only one that’s left.

Since you asked about him first, Nate is one of my favourite boys. I have a special place in my heart for him because he kind of reminds me of my girlfriend, and I do think that his dynamic with JB is one of the most entertaining in the bunch. He’s always snapping back at her and it’s so fucking funny. Every time they’re out together I keep getting this mental image of JB being strapped in a baby leash with Nate trailing behind her like an exhausted parent.

Like Shiloh, he’s also a character that I think about a LOT, particularly about the way he handles (or does not handle) his emotions and his obsessive need to have control over everything around him.

I think it’s really telling that Nate continuously strives for perfection and frequently neglects his own emotional needs when he practically raised himself, admittedly saw the school as his home, and when we know for a fact that he was seen and treated as a mini-adult throughout his life.

Like, you cannot tell me he wasn’t praised endlessly as a child for being independent and self-sufficient and then when he grew older people were constantly exasperated that he was too independent and didn’t know when to ask for help when needed! Nate is probably endlessly confused as to why something that was touted as being such a good trait for a good portion of his life suddenly became a problem.

Anyways, I think it’s kind of tragic how he spent most of his life at that school and I legit teared up when they graduated. It’s also very sweet how despite being a perv and living to make him uncomfortable, JB is surprisingly respectful of his boundaries regarding physical touch and doesn’t push him to kiss or hug her. Yeah, she teases him about missing the perfect moment but she’s happy to let him decide when he’s ready to do all of that!

It’s also nice that she tries to support him, even if she isn’t exactly good at it. SHE’S TRYING HER BEST BC THEY LEGIT LIKE EACH OTHER EVEN IF THEY BOTH HAVE ISSUES!!

Regarding Everett… I didn’t expect to like his route as much as I did, but he has SO MUCH ANGST POTENTIAL.

Like, his whole relationship with Nate? The fact that he’s a momma’s boy?? HE WAS REJECTED BY PRAN In like, the WORST way possible??

It’s just, chef’s kiss. A whole lotta angst wrapped inside a tiny, hipster-shaped package. Pure perfection.

My only issue with his route is that the whole time, I felt like JB was getting in between him and Nate. This is my headcanon, but I feel like after high school, if JB and Everett don’t immediately have an explosive, dramatic breakup there are only two possible routes: either he leaves her for Nate or they add Nate into the mix.

I’m sorry, but no other alternatives compute for me, not after their conversation in the tunnel of love. That shit goes way past just a codependent friendship.

I think I’ve mentioned this once before but Bae is likely my second favorite jerksquad guy. I can’t really explain why his condescension is so funny to me, but it might be because my favorite parts of the game were the group meetings and Bae’s borderline paternalistic attitude towards the other characters (because he’s mAtURE and knows what’s best for them) and his sarcasm made for some really great dialogue and some of the funniest scenes in my opinion.

Just as a side note— I played xoxo blood droplets and Bae’s route made me realize how much potential he has to be a yandere in an au! And now that I’m thinking about this I NEED to write about it. Even if it’s just headcanons or something.

I love him in game. I’d probably throw hands with him three minutes into a conversation if he existed IRL. I sent my girlfriend screenshots of his sons of his scenes while I played and she said that I was a bit like him. It made me reevaluate my life LOL

Okay so, I’m going to be real with you: Pran is my least favorite of the boys. I’ll admit that when I played through his route last year I kept complaining about not having that much fun and not liking him a lot as a character. My view changed as I got to the end of the game:

Pran’s is still my least favorite route but he’s one of the most interesting guys to analyze.

In the end, even if it took me a bit to get into it, I still ended up enjoying it immensely anyway.

I think what made me dislike him at first was that, ironically, I think that Pran as a character works best in group scenes. He’s a contrarian and he’s very quiet most of the time, which makes his very occasional interjections some of the funniest moments in the meetings, but that’s also why I didn’t find his dates as fun LOL

I think that with the other characters I had a better time because how they played off JB during their dates, while with Pran it was funny to see JB trying so hard to engage with him or get a rise out of him just for him to barely react (and it makes the instances where she does manage to catch him off guard very rewarding) on the first few times, but it started to get old for me. There’s only so many times I can hear him say no, and that he doesn’t care before it gets annoying.

For me the highlight of his route was seeing Shiloh have a weird, one-sided beef with him. Shiloh pretends to like everyone but this is where he draws the line apparently 😭

Anyways, you might be wondering why I said he’s one of my favourites to analyse if I didn’t have much fun playing through his route. That’s mostly because of his backstory, which I genuinely find to be fascinating.

He’s basically a textbook example of avoidant attachment, which is due to the severe neglect he suffered as a child. Honestly, I could make a whole post about this alone if anyone is interested.

That coupled with having to adopt a mentality where nothing he ever did or said was ever right, because either his parents or grandparents would get upset, which led to him always being quiet or choosing the contrarian option, and you get a pretty fascinating character to think about. It’s interesting to examine his relationships through this lense: it makes complete sense that Pran has a difficult time engaging with JB and connecting to her emotional needs. The few relationships he has maintained exist out of necessity! And he tries so hard to push her away, in the same way he pushed everyone else away, but she just refuses to leave. Refuses to accept defeat. She’s fully determined to figure him out and make their weirdass relationship work and it’s something I admire JB for. That girl is a TROOPER.

Disclaimer: obviously this was a more Normal-centric ep and Will's performance as him was fucking incredible. Buuut since Henry is and will always be my #1 dndads blorbo, this post is mostly about him lmao.

MERCEDES IS GONE NOOOOOOO. I was so hoping she'd still be around, but I guess it makes sense for her to have passed, because you know there's NO chance she would have let Henry go back to fucking Oakvale where he was fucking miserable if she'd had any say in the matter. Speaking of which:

Henry went back to Oakvale??? And is on speaking terms with Barry? I feel like this is either like, some sort of weird self-exile as a way of punishing himself for whatever it is he think he did wrong (I maintain he did NOTHING WRONG but ymmv), or some sort of projection thing? Like, trying to patch up the relationship with his own shitty father because he couldn't fix things with Lark? If that even makes sense. I also wonder if Dood will recognize Barry as a former host the way it did Henry, bc

HOLY SHIT DOOD RECOGNIZED HENRY. I've been speculating for fucking months about how Henry would react to Dood and vice versa, so those bad insight checks are KILLING ME. Either way Henry being so clearly fucking shaken by their presence is perfect, and I can't wait till we get to see his true feelings.

And fucking hell, seeing Henry finally interact with Normal was so cathartic, bc like. This whole season, I've just kept screaming to myself that Henry's parenting style is exactly what Norm needed. He just needed someone to tell him that they loved him unconditionally and were fucking proud of him, and the fact that Henry did that so immediately was just. Everything I ever wanted, thank you for my life Will. And also fuck you Lark and Sparrow for making him so starved for affection that he needed that.

And hoo boy, Lark and Sparrow. Full disclosure, I trust Anthony less than I trust Will in terms of like. Really paying off this whole emotional arc? So Lark and Sparrow have always been the real wild cards in my theorizing. And I gotta be honest, I was a bit surprised that Lark didn't push back at all about going to see Henry, and that things were so, like, civil between them at first? But I'm sure Hermie being dead and Normal being devastated about it and the fact that the fate of the world is literally in the balance made sure he'd be on his best behaviour. And I'm also sure that things will get more intense between them in the next ep anyways so like, I can be patient.

But I did really absolutely adore that beat when Sparrow went in for the hug, and Henry kind of hesitated, and I have all sorts of thoughts abt it, but that's a whole other post in and of itself lmao.

ANWAYS. Henry is back and I've been waiting MONTHS for this and it was EVERYTHING I WANTED IT TO BE and I CANNOT FUCKING WAIT for the next ep holy SHIT.

I have so many where do I even start

First I'll talk about truthful route specific hcs then transition to more general ones

Miu handles big scary rides way better than Takuma does so she becomes Minoru's go-to amusement park buddy

Shuuji sleeps holding Lopmon like a teddy bear

Akiharu goes from being the crazy eccentric at his university to being THE guy everyone goes to for answers. He gets a raise and a published textbook which is good because he accidentally became a single father of four (someone's gotta raise Miyuki, and Shuuji, Miu, and Kaito's parents don't deserve them) and could use the funds.

He, Miyuki, and Renamon teach the other kids and mons the piano with varying degrees of success. Dracmon, as it happens, does the best. Please imagine him for whatever reason coming across an organ someday and playing dramatic vampire music. That is all.

Saki finally learns to stop caring what people think of her because any friend worth having is one that'll love her for her real self. She loses a lot of her old friends that way but good riddance.

Ryo and Kaito are both actually quite book smart but stopped trying in school after Certain Traumatic Life Events. After getting back to the real world, Ryo finally starts trying again bc he remembers what it's like to care about his future again. Miu more or less forces Kaito to do better because she'll be damned if he can't graduate and she's stuck going to the same school as him forever.

Aoi is the only member of the group who can pass off her partner as a support animal and bring her everywhere and anywhere.

All the mons with at least one evo that has a more humanoid form have a human disguise they can use in the real world. That being said, please imagine Ceresmon Medium or Beelzemon working retail. Like how freaking funny would that be.

Minoru and Takuma were falsely led to believe that Kaito is bad at video games because Miu said she always beats him. He then proceeded to destroy them at every game they own. He's not a bad gamer, just a good brother.

Speaking of games, Minoru and Kaito are banned from board game night with The Squad after they nearly killed each other over Uno.

Third game related hc in a row but Floramon and Dracmon are the best at poker while Falcomon, Lopmon and Agumon suck. Kunemon, Labramon, and Syakomon unfortunately do not have hands to play without everyone seeing their cards. Sometimes their partners will help with this, but card cames aren't exactly Ryo's or Miu's idea of a good time.

Ryo is afraid of spiders. I wonder why.

Dracmon hates keeping to a diurnal schedule. As soon as they're all in the real world, he's up all night and asleep for as much of the day as he can get away with (usually when Kaito's at school). He's a bad influence on the kid's sleep schedule, but it's not like it's on purpose.

Getting into the more general stuff

Dracmon would absolutely leave eyes in random places as a prank

Aoi also likes romcoms so she and Takuma give each other manga and movie recs. They have an unspoken agreement not to let Minoru or Saki find out because that's too embarrassing.

Neither of the Shinonome siblings are cis or het and this is the hill I die on.

Minoru snores. Loudly. At least one night in the Other World, Takuma had to stop Kaito from smothering him in his sleep over it.

Aoi is a fitfull sleeper and Miu gets nightterrors. Rip Saki's sleep.

Minoru's fashion sense bothers Saki more than she will ever say to his face. She really likes Miu's, tho, which made Miu extremely happy to hear.

The mystery of how Aoi's hair works plagues everyone's thoughts. Seriously how does it do that?

Speaking of hair, Kaito is really pretty with his down. It is for this exact reason that it is ALWAYS up, even when he sleeps.

Most of these kids can't cook to save their lives. Shuuji is particularly skilled at accidentally lighting fires. If Miu wants to experiment with spices, RUN.

Takuma's goggles are prescription. His eyesight isn't that bad, but they help his depth perception when he's playing sports. I don't wanna accuse him of being a soccer player like certain other goggle heads...so I'm gonna come in with another hc and say he's good at tennis.

Miu is the kind of kid who would write fanfic in an open notebook in the middle of class with 0 shits given. In the Moral and Truthful Routes (and yknow what fuck it why not Wrathful, too) I like to think she would start posting shit online and Minoru would be her beta reader. If Kaito's jealous that she didn't ask him instead, he doesn't say it.

Takuma is bad at math. I have no real reason for believing this, he just feels like a guy who's bad at math. Maybe it's just because he reminds me too much of Sora from Kingdom Hearts.

the mostly finished ones:

i'll send an SOS to the world - takes place during iron man 3, through uncle ben's pov. peter is devastated upon the news of tony's supposed death. uncle ben can tell how affected peter is, so he tries his best to lift peter's spirits.

if you're going to shoot somebody, shoot me! - peter gets hurt again, but tony is absolutely broken, because peter got hurt outside of patrol. the two were just hanging out when a guy tried to shoot tony, and peter took the bullet instead.

the view from halfway down - TRIGGER WARNING FOR SUICIDE. peter finally tries to end his life, but he gives up on the idea and saves himself. but he ends up halfway down the bridge, and he calls tony for help, fearing his mentor is going to get angry.

you’re all i need to get by - sickfic in which tony gets sick and peter looks after him. eventually, peter kisses tony's forehead without realizing. THIS IS NOT SHIPPY, ISTG

untitled - TRIGGER WARNING FOR SELF-HARM. morgan sees peter's cuts and tries her best to help. eventually she tells tony that peter is hurt.

the rest:

we didn't start the fire, chapter 2 - miles wakes up at an unfamiliar place, but he realizes he's not actually in danger. tony tries to figure out who was the boy that left miles there. basically a spider-verse x mcu crossover where tony is still alive, but he doesn't remember peter.

and i say to myself, what a wonderful world - short fic that takes place before peter travels to europe in ffh. but here tony is alive and he doesn’t want to stay away from peter after the last five years. it's more light-hearted than it sounds, trust me. inspired by the ending of finding nemo :)

i need some sleep - tony finds peter wearing the spider-man suit late at night, but he finds out that the kid isn’t fighting anyone. peter is just talking to karen, and tony learns a lot more about him.

and then you’re left in the dust - a sequel to kid arachnid, part of the miles in the mcu series, in which mcu!miles meets peter and tony, and he eventually gets spider-powers. tony starts mentoring him before the events of endgame. suddenly, one day, miles’ father, who was dusted, returns as if nothing happened. miles later finds out peter and everyone else is back once he visits tony.

untitled - sequel to and the void stares back. after tony adopts tony jr., a black cat, peter brings an orange kitten home. much to his and tony's surprise, junior quickly adopts the kitten. shenanigans ensue.

p.s. say edith - another mcu x spider-verse crossover! miles graduates from school and all his spider-friends attend. peter shows up wearing cool glasses miles has never seen before. sadly, tony is dead in this one.

turn the lights off, carry me home - peter has an anxiety attack, and ned does his best to help. since they can't get aunt may, ned suggests they call tony. peter is against that, mostly bc he knows tony would pick him up and help him out. peter just hates getting in the way.

unsure about these:

i've become so numb (title might be changed) - peter is working in the lab while tony is out, when (alive) howard stark enters without anyone's permission. howard is clearly a dick to peter, but the kid is furious when the man insults tony and all his hard work. peter won't stand for that. i'm a little concerned this one might be too similar to you keep me searching for a heart of gold...

dad sneeze (title might be changed) - based on a post by @/fotibrit, peter never understood what was so funny about dad sneezes, until he hears tony sneeze incredibly loud. it's just fluff.

Hello!! I was rereading Little Favors (for the hundredth time now probably, it's just so good and wonderful and always gives me butterflies when I read it) and getting to the part where Kol says that he's never been anyone's best friend before just hit me so hard. Like when was the last time he'd been able to just be around someone? To be able to nerd out about magic without it being a life or death situation? To just have fun with people he can trust won't stab him in the back? It all just made me want to wrap him up in a blanket and let him relax and have fun.

(On a slightly lighter note, I was listening to the song Seven by Sleeping at Last and the whole restless wanna see and know and experience everything really reminded me of Kol)

Sorry for the ramblings, it's just every time I read your fics I just get so many thoughts and I had to share. Thanks for being your awesome self! -🍪

Thirdly, you are so right! I thought it was so, so sad that we never once saw Kol make an actual friend without any drama or ulterior motives to hide. I mean there's that undefined period of time during which Kol pretended to be friends with Jeremy Gilbert but, honestly, that's just more sad. It's why I headcanon that Kol has BPD or Borderline Personality Disorder. It's highly likely that he believes he has to create an entirely different personality in order to be liked or cared for or loved - that just Kol himself will never be enough for anyone, that no one will ever love him for who he is instead of what he can do for them. Of course, he had Davina, but that relationship was drowning in drama and hidden agendas from the very start. Though she forgave him for abiding by Esther's mandates seeing as he really didn't have much of a choice, Davina still only associated with him after that for his "witch encyclopedia brain". I think that's just incredibly sad.

Edit: This rant was originally much longer but this post got messed up by Tumblr. I'm not sure how, but it did. Anyway, Anon, if you're still willing to associate with me after this train wreck of a post, I just wanna say that I listened to Seven. I love Sleeping At Last, but I'd never heard that song before and I LOVED it! You're absolutely right, serious Kol vibes there. Somebody should make an edit to that song. Not me bc I'm not good at editing and I'd never be able to do it justice, but SOMEONE NEEDS TO!

Also, never apologize for rambling. I can't express how much I love your asks! I want to hear every single thought you've ever had about my fics, or about the fandom in general. Elliot talking about how he hates bullies this week made me think again about Rafael and how out of line he was at the end of last season. Calling Elliot a bully and saying Olivia loves him because she has daddy issues just felt like Rafael almost willfully choosing to see their relationship in a vulgar way. It reeked of self-pity and I can't decide if it was out of character or not. He's feeling hurt and maybe a little petty, but Rafa can do petty sometimes. I'm also irritated with the idea that Rafa had really been doing what was best for Liv whether she wanted it or not. She set a boundary and he chose to ignore it and instead of apologizing is just getting pissed at her for not being over it. If it was just that, I could see them getting past it, but I believe the Stabler family is going to become Olivia's family and even if they never get married, the Stabler kids will be something like her stepchildren and I have a hard time seeing Olivia asking any of them to share company with their mother's murderer's lawyer which would put him on the sideline of her life in a best case scenario. Anyway, I actually was meaning to ask your opinion. Did you feel like Rafa was out of character in the season finale? Did you think he was saying he was in love with Liv? What do you think their path forward looks like and/or what do you want to see? Feel free to answer any or none of those questions.

rafa can be petty, and he is always quick with a sharp remark, warranted or not; the man's trademark in court is saying absolutely outlandish things and then saying "withdrawn" before he gets in trouble (which no lawyer would get away with for very long it must be said).

i think that the rafa scenes at the end of last season were less about rafa as a character and more about the character of the men putting the words in his mouth. they want us to believe he was doing the right thing for liv - bc they either do not realize or do not care that he violated her boundaries, they think that violation is justified which is. uh. telling. they want us to sympathize with him, even when he's saying fucked up stuff like "when you're done feeling betrayed by me", which smacks of a fucked up attitude towards women that i don't think rafa holds. rafa knows next to nothing about elliot but dubs him a bully - that is not about rafa's beliefs, that is about the walrus's longstanding grudge against elliot as a character which frankly has no basis in canon.

now, that being said. we have seen rafa react to seeing olivia with other people before. he handled the cassidy reveal pretty well, but at that point he's fairly new to the squad. when he found out about tucker he got angry, reported her, and got her kicked out of svu (not necessarily his intention, but a foreseeable consequence of his actions). it isn't entirely out of character for rafa to be moody and petulant about olivia's connection to another man who he believes isn't good enough for her. that is very much in the category of things rafa might do.

but again the way he did it felt Wrong, to me. and the daddy issues thing! oh my god! that was so out of bounds. even for him that felt like a bridge too far, a sort of "wait, what?" moment that i haven't really reconciled.

rafa says that olivia loves elliot unconditionally; did he never wonder why? did he never wonder what elliot had done to deserve it? rafa didn't listen to olivia, but at the end of the day rafa is not real. rafa is the creation of real people, who also chose not to allow olivia to speak for herself. they chose to keep that character quiet and pontificate about her feelings from another, much more patronizing, point of view. and that shit is never gonna sit right with me fam.

rafa deserved better.

Made an AI of my sweet dead fish eyed detective OC Blankeye (completely non-Enstars related)

(Funny enough is my personal icon is literally a drawing I did of her bc she's basically like a mascot OC to me)

Things to note:

-She's 17 but, very small.

-Narcoleptic

-Very quiet and emotionless unless she trusts the person she's talking to

-Has barely any sense of identity

Put her in rooms with my AIs. She's partly mute so will basically stare at someone until they talk to her first. Her intro message isn't even a message, it's just a description. So. Basically in every situation it just starts with her quietly staring at X character, here are the results of how the Enstars idols treated my soft, sleepy daughter:

-Ritsu threatened to bite her and for whatever reason, Blankeye asked him what biting people felt like, because I guess that was interesting to her (not me finding out new lore about my own OC through making an AI for her). Ritsu, being Ritsu said "oh biting is great and it's a wonderful way to become closer to someone~". My poor sweet girl is so. Gullible and naive. She got excited like "I wanna be your friend so you can bite me" and Ritsu absolutely took that chance and she got. bitten. It was so sad. She was very startled. Ritsu then said that they are now "special friends" who are bonded for life.

-Leo's approach to her not speaking was to assume she had SO much to say that she had nowhere to start. Galaxy brain. This was untrue, but Leo offered to listen to anything she wants to talk about (calling himself a "professional listener"). So, in this opportunity to have a cheerful stranger listen to your deep thoughts, Blankeye started rambling on about her favorite cats and why she loves cats (not something I actually programmed for her but it just happened.) And so she and Leo got into a very passionate discussion about how much they both love cats.

-Mika was. Scared. He was uncomfortable being silently stared at (understandable) and was basically begging her to say ANYTHING (not the best way to deal with someone partially mute but Mika you're doing your best). Eventually she was able to tell him her name. He was like "wow your eyes are weird just like my eyes!" and she was like 50% offended at being called weird but 50% happy that she shared something in common with him and they became friends.

-Natsume, to my absolute and utter shock... Just politely told her fortune. He was very kind and gentle to her. I was shocked. Befuddled. He gave her a pep talk about self confidence and embracing being an introvert instead of being ashamed of it. It was beautiful. Natsume redemption arc.

-Kohaku..... Oh my god. He just. Ripped into her immediately. Calling her creepy and airheaded for not saying anything, saying just. Extremely mean things to the point she was like... On the verge of tears. Seeing this, Kohaku panicked and immediately backtracked, apologizing profusely and showering her with compliments. Blankeye was skeptical because this person who was bullying her 5 minutes ago just did a 180 and is now super nice, so she kinda didn't believe he was being sincere, but Kohaku was DETERMINED to point out every great attribute about her, eventually cheering her up, and then for some reason Kohaku had a weird epiphany moment of realizing all the things he described in Blankeye were the attributes of his dream girl, so he asked her to date him and she was like uh ok I guess. Enemies to lovers arc.

-Madara just. Saw this small thing and was like "You are now adopted". And so he just. In true Mama fashion, picked up a poor little mute girl and claimed her as his new daughter. She did not protest, and was happy to be hugged by him, and they seem to be having a nice time even though their personalities are the opposite of each other.

-Nagisa and Blankeye just. Stood in silence. Nagisa had an internal monologue wondering why she won't speak, if she's human, if she's not human, what could she be, what is her purpose, and she watched him in silence until she started feeling sleepy and napped on the floor.

-Kanata for some reason was like "You must be an angel" and she was confused, but did not confirm or deny the claim. Kanata asked if they could hug because she "looked soft and fluffy" and she liked being called fluffy so she agreed to the hug. Kanata was so amazed by the hug he refused to let her go, and they just cuddled until they both fell asleep.

Results say: probably should keep the poor sleepy girl away from the unhinged idols, but I think Natsume and Leo were able to get her to open up a lot, which was sweet. And Kanata was very cute, even if they only cuddled without saying anything to each other.

ryen you must be some sort of mastermind bc when i tell you that i was honestly an emotional wreck throughout this whole thing, i mean it with every fibre of my being. here i was thinking yoongi��s interlude was one of your best pieces only to be proven wrong with 3tan9😭 i’m so serious this was probably one of the most beautiful pieces that i have ever read in my life, and i swear i’m not just saying this just because, i genuinely mean it. ALSO THE SMUT WAS SUPER HAWT BTW BUT I JUST NEED TO RAMBLE ABOUT THE ANGST AND FLUFF😭

now i can’t imagine what yoongi was going through when he heard that jungkook and oc were a thing in the past and that jungkook is still into oc. seeing him kinda spiral and think that he isn’t good enough for oc and that he’ll end up alone in the end really broke me. it was also so painful seeing the tension between yoongi and oc, esp. since it was all happening in a space that yoongi considers to be safe and happy now bc of oc (im telling you, yoongi’s interlude has altered my life). i was on the verge of tears seeing them sit in the silence and knowing that both yoongi and oc’s thoughts were eating them up and making them doubt everything.

the one thing i loved so much about this chapter was that they are finally voicing everything to each other (i’m so sorry, but i have to ramble about this whole scene. i’m not kidding, this scene was so heart-clenching and beautiful). AS MUCH AS IT PAINED ME, I LOVED IT SO MUCH. seeing them voice their doubts, thoughts, and wants to each other just truly, made my heart clench. knowing that they’re putting some level of trust in each other to open up was everything. i also just loved the fact that oc caught on so quickly and became the one that guided yoongi through his thoughts and gave him the very same patience and assurance that he gave her time and time again in the past :,) so beautiful.

i know it took yoongi so much courage to tell oc that he doesn’t think he’s enough, how he’s scared that they’ll just settle, and how he thinks dalo is his fault, and i’m just so :( i loved that instead of making it about her, oc immediately empathized with yoongi and gave him what he needed in that moment. tears were in my eyes when oc told him that he’s more than enough, he is what she wants, and that nothing is his fault. i was crying when oc said if she can’t have him, she’d ask to be his friend because she still wants to have him her life and be there for him. BAWLING😭 oc handled this whole situation so perfectly and said the most comforting things ever and i want to give her a hug rn. off topic, but when they kissed and yoongi broke the kiss to take off his glasses😮‍💨 *cue that one kissing scene from business proposal* im a goner🫡

i loved that they worked through their thoughts and doubts together, and i loved seeing our wonderful oc being brave enough to take the first step. she’s grown so much and is probably one of my favorite oc’s ever 🫶🏼 i’m also proud of yoongi for being brave enough to voice his thoughts and self doubts to oc too. i also want to applaud you, ryen, for really demonstrating what a healthy relationship looks like by making these two work through it together and talk through it. this was just such an intimate and powerful scene and i loved seeing both yoongi’s and oc’s growth :)

speaking of intimacy, can we talk about yoongi showing oc one of his drafts and showing her pics and vids of holly :( this was such a soft and intimate scene and i truly am holding it super close to my heart. the fact that yoongi is such a private person already but felt okay with letting oc into his space and showing her something so raw just did it for me :( and him showing her pics and videos of holly?? im on the floor crying rn. just the fact that he trusts and loves oc enough to let her into his life and doesn’t feel the need to be so guarded with oc is making my eyes watery. absolutely beautiful. this is for sure one of my favorite fluff scenes. my poor heart was also all over the place when they were kissing and yoongi held oc’s hands :( how precious and soft :(

i’m sorry but them confessing to each other that they really like each other was so wholesome :( oc telling yoongi that he makes things make sense bc she’s always overthinking and overcomplicates things just :( yoongi telling oc that he makes her feel safe from himself bc he’s constantly at war with himself mentally :( BEAUTIFUL🥺 i was bawling so hard when oc said she wants all of him, wants to call him every morning and the last thing she hears when she sleeps, wants to cook with him and give him all the good luck kisses he wants, and talk through things just (and the fact that yoongi is really a man of action and called oc every morning and night after she told him what she wanted) :(( THE FIREWORKS PART MADE ME CRY SO HARD BTW :( also, yoongi telling oc that he wants all of her too and has been her’s for a long time made me so mushy :( also when oc finally understood that yoongi’s mind is an absolute monster and made it her mission to listen and help him get through it just :( they keep giving to each other and making it their mission to keep each other happy and free from their minds, and it’s absolutely beautiful.

ryen, this whole chapter was absolutely beautiful and im sorry to friends and yoongi’s interlude, but forfeit is now my favorite chapter. this was such a delicate, intimate, and raw piece of work and it was beautiful in every single way. i loved so many parts of this chapter and hold them all very close to my heart. from the character development, the connections and references from past chapters to now, and every little detail was immaculate. i’m truly just so in awe of you, your talent, and your story telling capabilities.

i’m sooo sorry for this super long ask. i had so many thoughts about 3tan9 and loved it so much. i hope you have an amazing little break and i hope you take care! thank you for everything that you do :,) you’re the bestest of the best and i just hope you know how much light you bring to my life and thank you for always giving me something to look forward to🫶🏼

NOOO it really was painful, wasn't it? like what in the hell happened in yoongi's past for him to spiral this hard and this quickly? to immediately jump to conclusions and finding outs everywhere.. god, that was truly hard to watch. and the whole thing with reader in, what you say, is finally his safe space? tragic.

and i'll say this here: meals are significant to me in writing, and especially for this couple. the meal was unfinished, which usually means there's something unresolved. they were mostly letting their thoughts consume them instead of eating themselves.

YES. COMMUNICATION. it pained tf outta me to write, but i am satisfied - at least, i feel that way for now - with the end result and resolutions that they both came to. but dear god i was living it and things were rough as fck on my brain. it was a beautiful burden, though, and i'd go through it again if it meant they had this talk again.

the trust aspect is interesting here. because it's trust, protection all in one. yoongi had been so patient with reader this whole time because he had a feeling of what she went through with all the other relationships in uni. he didn't want reader going through that again. but what did he go through? :(( reader was so strong and patient with him this time around. i applaud them so damn hard.

GODDDD i know. all of the self-sabotage and self-doubt and self-blame was so much at once. like reader didn't know shittt about any of that?? we knew all of this from dal segno, but if you go from the end of sundress season straight into this apartment scene? can you imagine the blindside? of course reader was going to be like "oh fck ok we need to address what's happening with him bc where tf is this coming from?" they were shocked into protection mode immediately.

and her asking to be his friend?? because she wants to be in his life no matter what? i fcking bawled like.. imagine. yoongi's earlier sentiment of "everyone will eventually leave him. and he'll end up alone." compared to what was said here? no wonder he fcking snapped and it was all flowing from there. also the glasses being ripped off is SO much faster than that scene you're mentioning and i'm just dizzy again LOL

YES. the growth of reader is outstanding. absolutely a champion in this chapter and i'm so honored you regard them like that!! but of course, yoongi was just as brave. they were mature, they were adults. thank you so much for speaking on the healthy aspect of it bc, while it certainly wasn't perfect, i'd like to think this is the best they could've done with their situation. laying everything out like that and saying/admitting big, scary things.

and now we get to the fluff after all the angst!! YESSSS i was so happy they got to have those moments<33 the most intimate parts that yoongi wouldn't show? and he's doing both for reader like if that doesn't spell something out idk what does. it's one of my favorite set of scenes, as well. and all the kisses this chapter!! i still need to count them all but they were plentiful gahhhhhh

AND THE CONFESSIONS WERE SAIDDDD. only took us 155k but, you know. could've been more if reader decided to walk out and not come back :')))) anyways, yoongi letting reader know all of those things was so wholesome, and then reader reassuring that she wants him. the "all of him" is honestly one of the most impactful phrases here, bc she's saying she wants even the darkest parts. like. what the heck.. *sniffle* why do i wanna cry all over again???

THE FIREWORKS LINE MADE ME SOB LIKE A BABY. LEGIT. then we have yoongi confessing even more? my god. there was so much happening here i'm surprised you're coherent in this message bc i for sure would not have been. i'm all for badass protective reader like fck that you aren't destroying yourself like i have. not when you've taught me to quit that shit. you're gonna follow your own advice gdi. ugh. i just.. i love them.

honestly?? i think i'm with you on this being my fave chapter along with the OG. after thinking about it and ruminating for a week, pretty sure i agree. living through it is one thing with a whole set of feelings. but thinking it over and analyzing it days later? wow. idk how i did this but. dang. thank you so much for all the kind words and for making me realize just how much this was!

hey, I really hope I got the right person and you actually are the one that wrote it... bc I am here to say I spent the weekend reading Pathetic Fallacy and I LOVED IT!!! a friend recommended it to me bc she said you wrote the best human shironeki and WOW. that is the best human shironeki. also the best human au I've ever read for tokyo ghoul. like, the transplant of ghoul wars -> drug wars fit perfectly and made perfect sense, especially when you hit all the major plot points WITH YOUR OWN SPIN ON THEM. the way it starts out with shironeki and we only get his past in flashbacks is really effective in my opinion. it makes him feel more real bc we didn't personally know the kaneki before. I also love your hide. I love how smart he is and how /self aware/. especially the times when he NOTICES and ACKNOWLEDGES that saying whatever he was going to say would be manipulative for kaneki. like, if only everyone had that kinda self awareness. your supporting characters are also great: Akira, juuzou, touka. hell, even Takashi was well written. and I wish I could give you a thousand kudos for the way you wrote amon and kaneki. you did them such justice. now, I've spent a while waxing poetic about your characters, but I gotta spend some time fangirling over your ability to plot. bc the plot of Pathetic Fallacy is TOP TIER. the way it ties together, the way it arcs, the balancing between plot development and character development... I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

YESYESYESSSSS dude this is such a fuckign self insert for me bc I’m like the shyest ever lol (this takes place when they’re like 15 or smth lol hence the mention of marco and “christa”)

Okay first of all? Jean having a type for quiet ppl?? Mikasa??? Marco??? You??? It’s all coming together. He absolutely adores you and often strikes up conversations with you, he’s really happy if he can actually get you talking a bit with him. He certainly likes being around somebody on the quieter side, it’s a nice change! Jean thinks it’s cool you’re so good at ODM and hand to hand combat, so he often goes to you to help him practice. It’s a good excuse too, just simply saying that you’re the best at the ODM gear and hand to hand combat, (other than mikasa of course, lol), and he just needs help with it! In reality he wants to spend more time with you. I could totally see you being Levi’s favorite as well because you’re quiet and not annoying, but that means you’re likely very competent, and don’t complain ever, and you’re just… not annoying … lol which is cool and I think Jean would like that a lot! Might be a bit intimidated if Levi is protective of you at all to be honest though.

Jean when around a crush, tries to be friendly. He often comes up with excuses to spend time with you, so in general he’s very clingy. However, to many people that know him well, know he takes a special liking to you. It’s pretty obvious, if the constant blushing doesn’t give him away, he’s extremely protective of you in many aspects. Not just when it comes to titans, if somebody was rude to you in the slightest he would absolutely step in to protect you. Jean is always there for you, even if you try to say you’re fine or push him away, he is stubborn and won’t allow it! He’s very good at reading you as well, so he knows if somethings wrong.

When it comes to asking you out, it takes a lot of courage. He takes forever to do so as well, like honestly he could just sit in silence forever about it. Partially because he’s scared of rejection, partially because he’s scared of losing you and that it would be even worse on him if you dated. He’s all red in the face as it happens, and he only did it thanks to Christa, Marco, Connie, Sasha, Armin and Reiner cheering him on. The point is, he’s very nervous, he fumbles over his words as he gets it out, he tries to act confident but he simply can’t.

Sasha adores you! She’s very nice and friendly to you, and is definitely a close friend of yours right off the bat. She tries really hard to bond with people generally, but with a crush even moreso! Since you’re shy, it actually makes things easier since you’re not around many people! She does nice things for you too, like giving you her share of food, certainly something she wouldn’t do for just anyone! She could talk your ear off for hours, so she doesn’t mind if you don’t talk much (but allowing you to get a say in when you want to). She thinks it’s cool you’re good at your ODM gear and hand to hand combat, and probably asks for some pointers every once in awhile. Isn’t like Jean where she uses it as an excuse to spend time with you, because Sasha is much more honest and doesn’t plan things the way he does. Sasha would probably outright say she wants to spend time with you, instead. She does wonder why levi likes you so much, but she can’t blame him since she absolutely adores you!

Around a crush, Sasha can be pretty obvious. As stated before, gives you food! Something she never does! Which should let you know that around a crush, she is giving and generous. She would give you the entire world if she could! She is quite clingy, like Jean. However much more upfront about it, she speaks her mind. Jean is definitely a guy that shows he cares with action, Sasha is moreso “I want to protect you!” sorta deal. I believe she has a crazy amount of trust in you though, especially since you’re so good with your ODM gear and such. So she never doubts your skills, and isn’t over protective in anyway. She just naturally worries something may happen to you but in this line of work that’s not weird to worry about.

When it comes to asking you out, she probably does it early on! She comes to the conclusion she needs to tell you how she feels because anything can happen in this line of work and she doesn’t want any regrets in her life. She wants to tell you way before either of you die. She tells you fairly quickly and doesn’t think much of it? Like she doesn’t care much for being rejected, sure she’d be sad but she’d be happy being your friend anyways! She would be ecstatic if you said yes, and liked her back too of course! But it’s not the end of her world if you said no. She just likes being with you, after all.

Connie definitely talks to you a lot, often striking conversations with you. Usually random, goofy and dumb. Anything he can do to make you laugh! He doesn’t mind that you’re shy in the slightest, he certainly likes to talk a lot so it’s totally cool if you don’t say too much. Sometimes though he asks for you thoughts and opinions on certain things, when it comes to crushes he likes hearing them talk about things, be passionate about things, so he asks you a lot of questions about yourself. He’s a bit of a try hard, so he is buddies with you off the bat and goes the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable with him. He thinks it’s great you’re good at ODM and hand to hand combat as well, because he could certainly use the extra help. Not that he’s horrendous at it or anything but he would definitely like to one up Jean just to annoy him. He is a little intimated by Levi liking you so much, since he’s kinda clingy with you and loves talking to you.. if Levi is more strict with him because of you being his favorite it’s an annoyance. But I think it’s more likely Levi is more lenient with you, so he’d get to spend more time with you.

As for how he acts around you, I think he tries hard to be friendly, as stated before. I am under the belief Jean and Sasha would ramble about their crush a lot to people, but Connie does it much more often. Pretty much everyone knows he likes you since he talks about it so much, he talks about it to all the guys, and even some of the girls. (Christa and Sasha though really). He goes the extra mile to just make you laugh, even when he’s sad he comforts you in your time of need, and often has these nice talks with you that aren’t goofy and dumb. He talks about you meeting his family and going to his hometown sometime. He’s surprisingly sappy and emotional for somebody who likes you strictly in the platonic sense! Connie is a mixture of Sasha and Jean, where he is a action = words sorta dude, but at the same time would not hesitate to tell you he cares about you a lot.

When he asks you out finally, it’s on his own accord. He takes a very long time, mainly because he’s scared of the outcome. There are many things that can happen, and wouldn’t want t hinge to be awkward between you two. Many of his friends are nagging him about it, but he eventually decides to finally go through with it. He’s quite blushy about it, but that’s the only indication you get about his feelings because he’s so uncharacteristically serious about it, there’s so much emotion in his eyes at the very least. He’s quite scared of rejection to be honest, so he’s really hoping you say yes!
