Insinuating that this is about religion is the basis of Zionism. 60 members of Hamas were killed, and 10,500 civilians killed, 4000 of which are children. Over 800 bloodlines erased. Israel says they aim for "damage, not accuracy." Implying this is about Hamas is lies.

one thing I know about edward is that he has 2 moods: "this is the happiest I have ever been" or "I am a miserable monster full of self-hate who deserves no happiness whatsoever." so for edward to go through the experience of ALMOST finding love and happiness and healing, only to lose it all, not once but twice (first with bella, then with jake), puts him at the lowest of lows. he does not deserve to keep either one of them, because he is constantly putting them both in danger.

but maybe... bella and jacob deserve each other. after all, they are the most beautiful and deserving souls edward has ever known (he is such a simp), all he wants is for them to be happy.

so edward hatches his stupidest scheme yet. as they work together to take out victoria and the newborn army, edward is trying to play matchmaker with bella and jake, all along secretly planning to take himself out of the equation as soon as everyone is safe again. (maybe he's just going to leave and hide somewhere, or maybe he's desperate enough to go to the volturi, idk.) the only problem is that bella and jake CAN'T STAND each other; we know they both have possessive and jealous personalities, so they can only see each other as rivals vying for edward's affection. but what happens when they find out about edward's plan to leave them? maybe they can find common ground? maybe all three of them can heal and learn to love themselves... together??

Tuvok can have a little overwhelming guilt, sorrow and heartache as a treat. Also, people need to start talking about that fucking Pon Farr opener because it’s hardcore and so loving. Anyway so I was thinking about the fact that pon farr is a bonding ritual which helps to alleviate fever...how intimate that would be and how it’d feel to have to share that kind of thing with a facsimile of the person you care about.  It’s not just sex, it’s love. And Tuvok loves his wife - to the point that even having sex with a hologram that didn’t look like T’Pel was unacceptable to him. To the point that he noticed that her ears were 4 millimeters too long. It must be difficult knowing that your wife is there, waiting for you, still in love with you, but you can’t reach her.  It must be difficult holding a woman who looks almost exactly like your wife but where she had a mind as familiar to you as your own (a mind which was your own, as yours was hers) this woman has only a static buzz and a voice you half-remember. I think it’d be very complicated and painful! And so so interesting! And I was picturing Tuvok, still under the pon farr’s influence, feeling so bad about not being able to control himself and also missing T’Pel and his children and regretting being trapped in the delta quadrant and just like....crying. All of his emotions from the past few years are just bubbling to the surface. And Holo T’Pel doesn’t know. She can’t help him like the real T’Pel could. She can’t receive his telepathic apology or pain or love and he won’t say it out loud because her inability to respond/understand is painful and in his state he feels the pain is deserved. What use would talking to a hologram be? It would just be even more pathetic. But Holo T’Pel sees that he’s crying she asks what’s wrong and when he doesn’t answer she presses their heads together as if they actually could speak properly, telepathically, and know each other. But they can’t.  They are two bodies, two minds. They will never become one.

Like, here is the thing that I haven't seen anyone really pick up on with the glass onion.

Benoit Blanc is the world's greatest detective but he is shown to be suffering from the same belief that everyone else is around him: that Bron is not an idiot.

That's why it takes him so long to figure out the mystery, because he is the one who dismissed Bron as Andi's murderer from the beginning. The fact that a black woman suggested this to a gay but white man demonstrates a beautiful metaphor for how black women are the leaders of the damn revolution, and they always have been, BUT the systems at play have caused EVERYONE, including the black woman herself, to deter to other people's perceptions of reality over their own intuition.

Blanc is a great WHITE character but he's still white at the end of the day, and he is given this status and power in his world partly because he is a white man. Helen figured out the fucking mystery from jump, she said Bron killed her sister and Blanc is the one that refutes that.

That was 100% done on purpose and nobody can convince me otherwise because it's so poignant to how black women are belittled and demeaned, even when they are objectively right about stuff, because it's inherent in ALL OF US!!!!!! these systems are inherent in all of us, in blanc himself, because most of us dismissed Helen's idea as ridiculous along with Blanc.

The depth this movie has is fucking incredible, the writing is so good and realistic and poignant!!!!
