Rows and flows of angel hair And ice cream castles in the air And feather canyons everywhere Looked at clouds that way But now they only block the sun They rain and they snow on everyone So many things I would have done But clouds got in my way I've looked at clouds from both sides now From up and down and still somehow It's cloud illusions I recall I really don't know clouds at all

An oldie but still very much a goodie as Joni Mitchell showed performing it on the Grammys stage, listening to Both Sides Now always moves me almost to tears.

Canadian singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot dies at 84

Gordon Lightfoot, the Canadian singer-songwriter whose hits included ''The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald and ''Sundown,'' died Monday at 84, his spokesperson told CNN.

Lightfoot died of natural causes at 7:30 p.m. at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, spokesperson Victoria Lord said.

His death comes less than a month after he canceled his 2023 US and Canada concert schedule on April 11. That cancellation was due to ''health related issues'' according to a Facebook post.

Gordon Meredith Lightfoot Jr. Died on May 1, 2023 at the age of 84.

I am just soooooo deeply saddened by this news. Strangely I've seen and Gordon has even joked aboot how many times in the past he's apparently died, that I almost disregarded this one.

But alas, it's sadly true. Gordon Lightfoot, one of Canada's true treasures, has passed away this May 1st, 2023 at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.

His declining health had led him to cancel his tour 3 weeks earlier.

He was 84 years young.

May you forever be Alberta Bound.
