Authors note: hey<3 Thank you for requesting, I changed it up a little, but still tried (somewhat) to stick to the plot. Also this is my first request, so I hope I did it some justice. Enjoy!

For the past 30 minutes you had kept to yourself, not caring much to indulge in the loud conversation happening across the room. Being friends with 5 guys who could never zip their mouths was usually the most hilarious thing, but now you just couldn’t help but wish you were alone.

You didn’t even have to look up from your phone to know they were all casting glances at you once in a while. The harsh reality was that they all felt bad for you, something you hated. The Beta squad who were known for violating and making jokes about others, now felt bad for you.

Fuck.

The last thing you wanted to do was ruin the vibe by moping around any longer, so with that in mind, you got up. “Hey, guys.” You say, walking up to the round table they were seated at. They all look up at you, their eyes still somewhat filled with pity. “I’m gonna go home now.”

AJ is the first one to react, and no wonder seeing as he’s your best friend. “You sure?” He questions, casting a look at Sharky, your boyfriend, as if to ask if he isn’t going to stop you.

He just silently motions to outside, an agreement to meet you outside. You bid the boys farewell and walk out into the windy night.

It isn’t long before your boyfriend follows you, a puffer jacket over his hoodie, with his signature backwards hat on. He looks so beautiful, and you can’t help but wrap your arms around his middle, breathing in his cologne.

Sharky wraps his large arms around your smaller body, protecting you from the cold. You guys just stand there for a little, both basking in the sweet moment.

“It’s just a stupid test anyways.” He tells you reassuringly, making you pull away to take a look at him.

“A stupid test I’ve failed twice now.” You sigh, looking away from him in shame. “It’s not even about the driving, I just feel I can’t do anything right.”

He brings your face back to his view, a hand on your cheek to make sure you hold eye contact. “That is not true. You will do this— eventually.”

A little smile pull at your lips at his jab, knowing that was his way of comforting you. Sharky kisses your cheek affectionately. “But since you still don’t have it,” he pulls a set of keys out of his pocket. “I guess I will have to drive you around for the time being.”

“Passenger princess?” You laugh, as he opens the car door for you and steps over the other side.

A laugh that sounds angelic ripples out of him, and your mood is lifted, all thoughts about being a failure out the window as you look at your boyfriend in gratitude. Taking a hold of your hand, he presses a kiss to the palm, before reversing out of the parking lot.

“Passenger princess.” He agrees.
