I'm looking for a cute slice of life webcomic about an average middle aged mom, her husband, and like 2 or 3 kids, and the mom just happens to be a witch in a world where magic is known and fairly normal, but not super common. At least part of it was definitely published between 2005-2010, but likely more on one or both sides of that time. She had red hair, wore a black witches' hat, a black t-shirt and stretch pants, and fuzzy pink slippers. I remember in particular a sequence where the mom is trying to set up a magical grocery delivery, but given that magic is treated as a technology that has upsides and downsides like any other, she eventually concludes she'd rather go get them herself mundanely.

my dad called me last night and as he was hanging up told me that he’s all caught up on a bunch of shows including supergirl. and, naturally, i screamed at him and he responded “cmon, i know you’re watching it” and i was like “NO IM NOT OMG!!! YOU CANT GIVE THE CW RATINGS!!!!” and he was like “no i’m streaming it illegally. karlena (i keep telling him it’s supercorp, he doesn’t listen) looks really good this season.” honestly i don’t think a child could be prouder of their father.

Heyyy, I'm back at it again with another spicy Dan and Phil themed dream.

Basically I dreamed I went to see the ii tour but somehow I managed to accidentally get in for free and dnp were super nice about it and bought me a ticket to solve the situation. There was a crafting station where the queue to get in was, so people's could make lil popsicle stick figures (which I think became relevant later in the show) while they were waiting. In the show itself, among other things, there was a dragon puppet that was actually a repurposed giant horse puppet, and someone dressed as scooby doo dabbed and fell off stage as part of the act.

It was wild.

theres a lot to unpack here. dnp bought you a ticket... so they paid YOU to be at their show? thats some Powerful energy your dreamself has. for scooby doo, theyd name that part of the show ‘scooby dooby dab’ with the theme song “scooby dooby dab, you are fab, we gotta be dank and cool now”

1. why did you choose your url?

I was trying to come up with something cute and "strawberrah" sounds a bit like my real name! Sort of.

2. any sideblogs?

Yeah! @marshingmallows is my warriors sideblog and the only sideblog that I use anymore. I also had one for aroace stuff, it I tend to post all that on my main now so *shrug emoji* I'll probably delete it.

3. how long have you been on tumblr?

I have no idea tbh. Probably 5ish years? But I never posted/reblogged anything for the first four bc I was shy

I tried to, but I eventually gave up because 90% if what I post goes through the queue. It used to be "scooby dooby queue".

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

I realized that my entire family could see what I liked on Facebook......I had to leave immediately.

Ace pride Sylvia babey!!!! I just love my ocs, and so when I saw a sale on commissions from an artists I really love I just had to jump on it. Fun fact: I commissioned another one because I couldn't stop myself....I'm very excited for it!!

7. why did you choose your header?

I cant remember how, but somehow sunflowers turned into my aesthetic??? I think it was cinna tagging me in sunflower stuff and I got attached :]

I dont like them. If you just wanna be on tumblr to shitpost/post art or writing/whatever, you're allowed to! Tbh I'd rather do any sort of activism literally anywhere else. Tumblr just doesnt seem to be the best platform for that, at least to me.

Yup!! I just take time to do them because of eye stuff, but I really do enjoy them! If you've sent me anything and I haven't answered it, I will when I feel better :]

i’m looking for a short story, which i THINK i read in a collection of unsettling/horror short stories for kids. the premise was so weird that i can’t believe i haven’t found it yet: a boy is having an astral projection daydream when an airplane shears off the top floor of his house. his consciousness is disembodied, and he discovers he can sense, talk to, and eventually control other minds.

he uses this power to make another kid try to reach out to his (the protagonist’s) parents, who think it’s a hoax, and if i remember correctly he gets into a struggle for control with the person he’s “possessing”, who solves the problem by GOING NEAR SOME DOLPHINS (the dolphins’ minds are so deep and powerful they suck the protagonist in like a black hole and he gets trapped).

this may have been in a collection which also included a story about a bomb going off in a swimming pool in a tall skyscraper, so the water all poured out and fell. maybe on a field trip. i’ve tried googling this many times but no success yet
