Piss off your parents pt.1

PART 2
PART 3
Colby Brock x Reader (Female)
Warnings: Drinking, Swearing
Genre: FLUFF, Friends to Lovers, Fake Dating, RPF (Real Person Fic)
Summary: You just wanted to rebel a little, how did it get to this?
"Y/N, you're fucking insane." Colby grumbles, struggling as he unbuckles one of his best friends out of the backseat of his car. She, however, seems completely unbothered by him maneuvering her into an upright position. She's giggling, actually, a direct contrast to her mascara streaked cheeks. She's drunk, wasted. Three sheets to the wind, if you will.
He already had to put two other drunk messes to bed tonight, Y/N's his third. He should be getting paid per person and per difficulty. Nate was the easiest to subdue, followed by Sam who put up a brief 'I'm not even drunk, dudeeee' kind of fight. And now her.
The party was at Sam's house so the previous two didn't require any special treatment other than being dunked into Sam's bed. Y/N however...
She'd pleaded with Colby, the most sober one of the bunch, to just let her be. Let loose, get drunk, flirt around a bit. That being said, four hours later - two hours past her curfew - when he tried prying her away from the drink table she put up one hell of a fight.
"You have the balance of a newborn giraffe! You're done! I'm cutting you off!" He'd yelled over the music, hearing his own parents' scolding in his tone but he ignored it. He had to take on the parenting role with his friends, it was his turn after all. He knows they'd do the same - they've done the same - when he was plastered. He owed them the same curtesy. Especially Y/N.
She's usually on parenting duty, not really on the heavy drinker side. But after the fight with her parents she told him about earlier, he can't blame her for wanting to drown it out with a few extra shots.
A few too many extra shots.
He was planning on just safely storing her in one of the guestrooms for the night and playing nurse the following morning when all three would undoubtedly have a hangover. But that's when Y/N's cognitive thought kicked in.
"My parents are gonna kill me if I don't make it home tonight! I can't sleep here!" She was - and still is - heavily slurring her words but the thought of further pissing off her folks drove her into an almost sobering panic. "Call me an Uber while I find my shoes. What time is it?"
Colby had carefully dodged around answering that question, knowing it would send her into a full blown heart attack knowing she was running so late. He tried telling her on time but she'd blown him off, saying she didn't care about the stupid curfew or at least that's how much he'd caught from her string of slurred rambles.
"You're not getting an Uber at this hour. Come on, I'll drive you." He'd said reassuringly as he picked up one of her stray shoes.
They soon found the second one and her missing purse and within fifteen minutes they'd gotten in his car and were gliding down the road with the speed of a tortoise. At this point in time Colby was neither drunk nor tipsy but that didn't stop him from sweating bullets as he operated the vehicle.
"I don't wanna go to Barton!" He'd believed she was asleep after the long stretch of silence following their departure so her sudden exclamation was quite startling.
"You won't, Y/N. You're coming with us to LA, remember?" He believed in that lie as much as she did, but he needed to soothe her somehow.
"Not according to mom! I'm gonna be stuck here in Kansas all my life!" Her anger was now engulfed by sobs Colby gently offered tissues for.
He stayed quiet and let her ramble, only partially listening to the words spilling directly from her heart. He especially tried drowning out the part where she went on a whole rant abut her massive crush on Nate.
But, alas, he wasn't successful, seeing as how he was white-knuckle-gripping the steering wheel more than half the way to her house.
That's how they've ended up here - one a giggly and mascara stained drunken mess and the other a bitter and regretfully sober babysitter. Well, babysitter, Uber driver and therapist all in one. He really should start charging for his services.
He wraps one of Y/N's arms around his shoulders, securing it there by holding her hand while his other arm fixates itself around her waist to keep her upright and at least semi steady on her feet.
With a silent prayer, he tries pushing the front door open with zero luck. It's locked.
He's cycling through all the stages of grief as he comes to terms with the fact that he will, unfortunately, have to ring the bell and alert Y/N's parents of their arrival.
He does just that, although quite begrudgingly, sighing heavily when he sees a light turn on through one of the windows. The sound of oncoming footsteps follows.
His eyes are soon met with the unpleasant glare of Y/N's mom who - as he's picked up on from their handful of interactions - already isn't very fond of him.
Just him!
She's lovely to Sam and Nate, but he's not extended the same curtesy. You can visibly see the air around her get colder when she approaches him whereas she's always been so kind and welcoming to the other two people in their friend group. He hasn't been able to figure out why. Bringing it up to Y/N proved futile as she just shrugged and shook her head.
"No clue, Colbs. But don't take it personally. She's just like that." She had said, but it didn't sit right with Colby. It made no sense. And it continues to bother him.
And unnerve him, specifically now as he's being stared down by her icy gaze.
"I'm sorry to bother you, Mrs. Y/L/N....just bringing Y/N home. She had a little too much to drink." There's no way in hell he could've concealed her drunkenness. She's hanging off of him with her head bowed, her hair forming a curtain over her face. He wouldn't be surprised if he were to find her already asleep.
"You know where her room is." There's an edge to her scoff that could slit a man's throat, but Colby chooses not to dwell on it. Truly, he can't, seeing as how she's already moving away from the doorway and down the hall into the living room, leaving him to deal with the mess she thinks he caused.
He can't find it in himself to be offended right now, although he probably will be later. He has bigger fish to fry.
And so, with his options limited, he opts to pick her up bridal style so he can easily carry her up the stairs. He hopes to God her parents don't see this and get the wrong idea.
Oh if he only knew what's to come...
As carefully as he can, he settles his unconscious best friend on her bed, tucking her in. He's murmuring reassuring words under his breath as he does so, not sure if they're meant for her or him but in the end it all works out.
"Night, Y/N." With that whispered in the darkness of the room and a gentle kiss on her temple, he makes his exit, briefly stopping at the bottom of the stairs to peek into the living room, "Good night, Mrs. Y/L/N."
"It's almost morning." Her reply is on-par with most of their interactions so he just pushes past it, shaking his head slightly before leaving out the front door.
As he does so, he notices the sky has taken on a brighter shade of blue, signaling Y/N's mom really wasn't exaggerating. With a sigh, he gets back behind the wheel, heading to Sam's house to check on his other two patients.
* * * * *
Her head is pounding but you'd never be able to tell from the giant grin on her face as she sprints through the neighborhood, skipping through backyards and hopping the occasional fence to cut the trip short. The strap of a duffle bag is slung over her shoulder, she's clutching onto it tightly. It has all her belongings in it, after all. It's of upmost importance she doesn't lose it.
That's be rather unfortunate right after spontaneously moving out, wouldn't it?
She wouldn't say she got kicked out of the house per-se. That would indicate that she was thrown out against her will. Quite the contrary actually. She was more than happy to leave. Had she known those were the magic words, she would've said them so much sooner.
She catches herself before she can make a face-first collision with Sam's front door, stopping to catch her breath and knock a couple of times. And a couple more times. And a few more times.
It's safe to say she's impatient. But with the news she has, you can't blame her.
"Stop! Stop!" A disheveled Sam finally opens the door, one hand partially covering his pale face, "Too loud..."
Y/N gives herself a moment to feel guilty and hug him apologetically before dashing inside. "Colby's here, right?"
"Yeah!" She hears his voice coming from the kitchen and immediately makes a beeline in his direction, dropping her bag in the foyer.
Upon entry, she finds Colby and Nate sitting by the kitchen island, both in different stages of 'the morning after'. Despite the crippling headache, however, the latter finds it in him to give her a genuine smile, sliding off the stool to envelop her in a hug.
"Aww, is someone hungover?" She mocks Nate, sneaking a sip from his Gatorade.
"Hey!" He complains, reaching over to snatch the bottle from her, "Give it back! I need it way more than you do."
Colby, unable to stomach their interaction - for reasons he doesn't want to get into right now - busies himself by looking down at his phone.
He's known of Y/N's little crush on Nate for months now. At first it was only speculation based off her demeanor around him. And then it was more like a punch to the gut when she tipsily confirmed it one night.
"Colbs?" Her voice snaps him out of his brief bitter spiral, forcing him to look up, "Can I borrow you outside for a sec?"
He's struggled with saying 'no' to her since the day they met. Not that he wants to turn her down, he just wishes he could.
And wishes she didn't. Without even knowing it. Turn him down, that is.
With a nod, he follows her out to the patio where the sun isn't kind to either of them, adding gasoline to the fire of their raging hangovers.
"Sup?" Try as he might, he has never been good at feigning nonchalance around her.
It's surprising to see her nervous. For once, he believes their playing field to be even. "So...I've got good news wrapped up in bad news."
Her words would panic him a lot more had she not come in like a force of nature with a gleaming smile adorning her face. Still, it's not at the top of the list of things he wants to hear on a Saturday morning. So, with an exaggerated sigh, he signals for her to continue, "I'm all ears. The last twenty four hours can't get much worse."
He watches her face twist as she cringes, well aware she's about to prove him wrong, "Well...." With a deep breath, she finally spits it out, "The good news is, I'm coming with you guys to LA."
Colby doesn't spare a second, momentarily forgetting the bad news she'd mentioned as he scoops her up in a hug, "No fucking way! Hell yeah! I fucking told you!" He can't describe the immense joy and relief he's feeling right now. "Kiss that Barton College shit goodbye!"
Giggling, Y/N kicks her feet, looking for solid ground beneath them. Not that she's in a rush to be set back down. In fact, for a split second, she wishes this moment could last forever.
But, she's aware it's impossible.
Suddenly, she feels guilt creeping in for even letting that thought run loose in her head. She doesn't even know how or why it popped up.
She just knows she's about to ruin it all.
"One problem..." It's actually far more than one, but they'll dissect that later on. She just has to get the main one out the way, "You see, how that came to be...."
"You have no shame! You get wasted at parties, break rules, come home past curfew." Mrs. Y/L/N's voice is shaking the house, echoing twice as loudly in Y/N's head as she's just trying to eat a bowl of cereal. "Random people are bringing you home at dawn!"
She has the gull to argue back, "Colby is not just some random person, mom!"
"Oh yeah, he of all people was the one bringing you home! What the hell, Y/N?!"
Her mom has never liked Colby. The problem is, no one knows why. Y/N isn't sure if her mom even knows why. She tried asking once, it didn't go over so well.
But that's when two and two click together into a four in her head - a bright idea. Actually, 'dim' would be better. Nothing bright is welcome within her proximity with the splitting headache she's nursing.
Without a second thought, she blurts out: "What's so wrong with having my boyfriend take me home after a party?"
Her words ring out like a gunshot in the quiet house. Yet they are nothing in comparison to the explosion of her mother's anger in response.
Colby's mouth is hanging open, his gaze piercing through more so than focusing on his friend.
She, on the other hand, is sweating bullets, anxiously waiting for him to say something and break the long silence that has fallen upon them. When he doesn't, she wills herself to whisper a mousy little "I'm sorry."
Finally, a voice leaves his parted lips: "Y/N, you're fucking insane."

-Do not fear, this will be a multi-part fic and I will end up finishing it at a different time, an explanation can be found in my reblogs here

Nate Hardy x fem!medium(?) reader
Summary: Ahh yes, finally a haunting where the spirits don't hate women
Word Count: 852
Warnings: hauntings, language, inconsistent capitalization, my usual grammar warning, short
Dialogue Key:
Y/N
Nate
Sam
Colby
Steve

━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
"Oh. Well that's fun." you joked walking through the door, "My favorite thing to see when entering a haunted area," you turned, watching as the boys filtered in behind you-Sam filming, "Is a shit ton of creepy-ass dolls."
"No!" Sam exclaimed, walking over to film some of the dolls closer up, "you don't just walk in and there's this many dolls just staring in your direction"
Probably wasn't the best idea to kick off the night by making fun of some weird and possibly haunted dolls... but you only live once, right?
After a thorough bullying session, the four of you went to do a quick walk around the building, some light exploring, if you will, before the night truly begins.
Nate was in the front with Colby, followed by Sam who was filming, you walking slightly behind him at the end of the group.
"Isn't there supposed to be some strange occult shit in here too?" Nate called back, as he looked at all the walls, trying to find any of the alleged sigils.
Sam stopped, moving to the side as he positioned the camera to look at the triangular thing he found on the floor. "What is that?"
You, however, weren't phased by the "sigil" he found and walked right on top of it.
"What are you doing Y/N?!" he shouted, "That could mean anything-"
You pierced your lips, trying to hold back your laughter at your blonde friend, "It's a shuffleboard, Sam."
The blonde looked down one more time, tilting his head slightly as he did so. "Ooh, ok, yeah I see it now."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
"Guys, this building is actually insanely huge" Colby explained, during the initial information portion of the video, "it actually has 88 rooms in it and the haunting s are rumored to be started at the beginning of the 20th century, so it's been haunted for a very very long time."
"Legend has it," Nate joined in, "that there have been approximately 200 bodies found here. It's frequent for people to experience shadow visitations, they will get disoriented, dizzy, nauseous-"
"There are even reports of people getting like choked."
"Poltergeist activity, things getting moved around, getting pushed... this is not a good spirit place."
"And, they don't like men"
Your eyes widened as you looked between the three guys around you, "wait are you serious?"
They all nodded solemnly, mistakenly believing you to be worried on their behalf.
At least until you fist-pumped and started cheering.
"I'm sorry" you spoke despite the unapologetic grin on your face, "it's just, this is new to me" you explained gesturing to yourself, "usually in the place we go, the spirits all hate women"
Colby tilted his head to the side with a shrug, "Yeah, yeah that's true"
"So" you spoke nonchalantly, raising your arms to grasp Sam and Colby's shoulders in faux sympathy, "how's it feel to be in my shoes"
Sam laughed, shaking his head at you, "Honestly? Not a fan."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah... we might need to be more considerate in the future"
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
You truly began the investigation within the basement of the Seminary. It is believed that this was the area where a woman was buried under the floor.
In this area, an anomaly was detected beneath the floor as well as a cadaver dog hit about three feet away. However, when they looked into it and dug the hole, nothing was there.
"Alright" Nate announced, stepping around the railings "I'm goin' in the hole."
"You're really going for it this video" Sam nodded from the corner, "Proud of you."
"Thanks, man" he deadpanned looking between the blonde and the raven-haired man controlling the camera, "Yeah, I'm stoked you guys brought me out to butt-fuck Ohio to be in a hole."
You stood behind him on the other side of the railing, laughing softly as he jumped in.
"I just want to point out" Steve spoke looking over the railing, "this is the second night in a row that we made Nate be a dead body."
"Wow!" Nate mocked, "I didn't even notice that dude."
"Wait, yeah!" you joined in, raising your voice and crunching up your face a little, "Can we talk about that for a second? It took me long enough to not be single... can we please stop killing my boyfriend" you whined stomping your foot for good measure.
The boys laughed at your antics, all the while Nate leaned forward, grabbing onto the bars, "Can I have a good-bye kiss this time?" he pouted, "You know before I leave this earthly plane and die... again"
You leaned forward and grabbed his cheeks looking straight into his eyes, "You're just pitiful, aren't you?"
"Please" he whined, dragging out the end of the word and keeping his pout.
"You're ridiculous" you whispered before leaning down and pressing a quick kiss to his lips.
He smiled, pushing himself from the bars and plopping down in the hole, "Kay, thanks babe!"
Colby 'Aw-ed' obnoxiously from behind the camera, whipping it back and forth between zooming in on Nate who now was crouched below the floor, and yourself as you leaned over the railing looking down at him.
Sam just blinked owlishly, feigning annoyance for the video, "Ok, now that that's over, can we begin the investigation now?"
once again, don't worry, i will be making a pt. 2 for this fic

Attention Grabber
Seth Borden x Reader
Sam, Colby, Nate, Seth and Reader are doing an investigation. What happens when the Reader faints by Seth?
Content: established relationship between Reader and Seth, mentions of murder, evil beings, harm to people, sickly but mostly fluff for Seth.
If any of these things mentioned above makes you feel bad or something along those lines, please click away
Sam, Colby, Nate, Seth and I walked around the Villisca Ace Murder House before Sam and Colby started their video. The house had a very dark entity and it did well to make itself known. Even during just the tours during the day the guide explained that people would get scratched, pulled and sick.
"When we initially walked into the house I was like okay it's creepy in here, little spooky but I'm fine. When we went upstairs, it wasn't when we went into the parents room, it's when we walked into the kids room, I felt the same feeling in my back that I felt when I had that experience at the seance at the conjuring house when I got an attachment. When a spirit is trying to attach itself to you it starts by making like a back pain in the bottom of your spine and it goes all the way up. That's legit what I felt and I just felt that same thing upstairs." Seth begins their video by explaining how he felt during the tour.
"That's crazy because I noticed the shadows around you but didn't say anything because they didn't seem ill intentioned. There were three around us in the kids room and were trying to play. I don't necessarily think that they were trying to attach themselves per say but they did look very curious." I told the boys what I saw when we were touring. They all looked a little scared when I was finished but they nervously laughed it off. I thought it was hilarious because the kid spirits were super friendly. Yes they had a bit of sadness and anger but they were residual emotions from the murder.
"I definitely felt like how I did during the conjuring house." Colby added onto what Seth told us.
"To be quite honest when I was like alright we're gonna go to these haunted houses, alright, but compared to like Hell Week we're chilling. After all of these stories and interviews we've done today I'm like thinking this might be one of the more scary places we've actually been to" Sam confessed to us.
"Seriously it feels like it too." Colby responded.
"This feels like you walk into the room and there is a psychic oppression. I noticed (y/n)s shift of mood really quick." Nate noted. I got nervous for a second because I hadn't even realized I did that.
" I'm not trying to hype this place up for the camera. I'm being so serious right now, like I have not felt that feeling since I had thy experience. " Seth chimed in. Reconfirming that this house was full of bitter emotions.
"He said that this house was actually known for physical touch, scratches and things happening. Most paranormal occurrences are like sounds or like you see apparitions. This is physical it's different." Sam pointed out. He was right. Most paranormal occurrences don't result in poltergeist activity.
"Oh and what's freaky is its not even the axe murder that's freaky. It's the fact that there's an energy that's been here for a long time. But that entity is still here. So that technically means that the murder is still here. " Nate pointed out.
"You guys all have great points. Now let's see if we can get anything. But we have to remember, we were told that this entity, spirit, being, whatever you may call it. It is a trickster. We may not come to the official conclusion like we hope. " I commented. The boys all agreed but we are all in the best spirits to keep hope that we can help shed some bit of light on the story.
Time skip to after the attic Estes Method
"That was crazy. I feel like it's still with us. Maybe we should try to go down to the guest room to do another one. I feel sick being up here. Something definitely wants us to leave." I proposed. The boys agreed luckily and we left the attic. I was feeling dizzy. "I think I am gonna get sick. I need to sit." I announced. Seth looked very concerned. I grabbed ahold of his hand and sat down. I was about to talk about how I wanted to just leave because something wasn't right when the music box started going off. I stood up really quick because I was sitting right by it.
"It's like something was waiting for us to come down here. I feel genuinely sick being in this room. " Seth muttered.
"I agree. But I think it wanted us to retrace its steps. I think it's playing with us again. " Sam frowned. He was right. I looked towards the door again. I could see the figure there. It was then that I got a throbbing head pain. Not quite like a headache. It was way worse. My vision went blurry and then eventually went black.
When I woke up I was confused. My head was in a lap and my hair was being played with. I turned onto my back and saw Seth smiling at me. He looked so cute.
"You fainted straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention that bad you could have just asked for it, you didn't have to go to such extremes. " Seth smiled when I looked away blushing.
"I wasn't trying to faint but we do need to get out soon. Did you guys get anything when I was out?" I questioned trying to change the subject. The boys nodded.
"Yes. I don't think you'll believe this but it couldn't be the rival because he was out of town. If we are thinking logical then it was Paul because of the identical crime scenes. If we are thinking more spiritually then it is the reverend. When we did the Estes method, the answers it would give us were too perfect. It would give us a trail and then cut us off. " Nate indicated that the spirit continued to mess with them.
"In any case I think we should leave. I know that we technically haven't come to a conclusion but the ghost wants us gone and I have a feeling the next attack won't be as kind to you guys. " I voiced nervously. Seth helped me up and we gathered our equipment up.
"Hey (y/n) have you scratched your leg recently?" Colby inquired. I shook my head as I looked down. I had three long claw-like marks from the outside of my calf leading to the top of my shoe.
"Ya let's get out of here quickly. Thank you for communicating with us but you may not follow us. You may not attach yourself to us. You have to stay here. " I headed towards the door and the boys followed me. "Thank you again Seth for helping me. I appreciate it." I confessed to him.
"It's honestly not a problem. I didn't want to see you get hurt. " he leaned down and kissed me.
"Awe what a cute way to end a horrifying video." Sam chuckled

Odessa Catacombs - Nate Hardy
Roughly based off of this video
This is my first request ever ashakjht thank you so much anon! I hope you like it :)
Disclaimer: The video and the story take place before the whole war thingy. I just want to say that I am not in the slightest way ignoring anythinig that is happening at the moment and that my heart goes out to everyone there <3
Summary: you join Nate, Sam, and Colby to explore the Odessa Catacombs in Ukraine
Word count: 3.8k
Warnings: fluff, mentions of death and hauntings, sum kissing, again not proofread lmao
“Babyyyy.” Nate drawls out the last syllable. A small smirk forms on your lips, knowing that he only did that when he wanted something from you.
You’re currently sitting on his couch, feet on the coffee table, mindlessly scrolling through your phone. Nate walks closer to the couch and hugs you from behind, burying his face in your neck.
“Yesss?” You say innocently in the same tone that he did.
“You would do anything for me, right?” He asks, voice muffled by your hair.
You laugh. “Depends on what you want me to do, babe.”
“Sam and Colby are going to Ukraine for a video and asked me to come. Come with me?” He says, and even though you can’t see him, you know that his puppy eyes are on full display.
You pretend to think about it for a moment. “What’s in it for me?” You tease. “What do I get in return?”
You feel the corners of his lips curl up against your neck. “I can think of a few different things.”
He starts placing kisses on your neck and you immediately know you’re  a goner.
“Pretty please?” He pleads. You let out a breath of air when he kisses that particular spot on your collarbone, and he smirks at your reaction.
“Not fair, Hardy.” You huff and you turn around to face your beautiful boyfriend.
“As long as I get the window seat on the plane there.” You say.
So here you are, in Ukraine, countless hours later. You had met up with Sam and Colby as soon as you arrived and are now preparing to start the intro to the video.
“Today, we are going to be visiting the Odessa catacombs, the single largest group of tunnels and underground city in the world.” Sam says to the camera.
“During Odessa’s industrial ‘boom’, they started digging for limestone underneath the surface. But because there were no regulations, they just dug at random.” Nate says.
“Which basically created a massive labyrinth that’s only like, half mapped. So  it’s like, really easy to get lost in there.” You add.
“There were literally like 2 people found dead this year in here.” Colby states.
“Wait really?” You ask. “No one told me about that part.” You chuckle but the fact kind of creeped you out. One of your worst fears about this place was to get stuck down there and never find your way out again.
Colby nods and continues. “Yeah, this isn’t like from ancient times. Even today, people get lost and there’s even cults down there.”
“Right now, we’re at the catacombs museum, a pretty popular tourist spot, but later today, we’re also going into the uncharted catacombs.”
“The wild catacombs.” Nate says dramatically and you snort.
“Wild, seriously? How can a bunch of tunnels be wild?” You ask. Sam had cut the camera by now and you start walking towards your guide.
“Babe, I know a wild thing when I see one.” He smirks as he puts an arm around your shoulders. You playfully roll your eyes at him, and you see Colby in front of you who had turned around to listen to your conversation now turn back again with an odd expression on his face, making you chuckle.
“Alright everyone, this is Ivan, our tour guide. He’s going to be helping us through the tunnels since we have no idea what we’re doing.” Colby says. “Can you maybe tell us some history about the museum and the catacombs itself?”
“The museum here was built in 1960 to remember the partisans who were hiding here during the second world war.” Ivan starts. “But the catacombs are actually just stone mines. Odessa was basically built from this material.”
“If the mines are that big, isn’t there a high risk of it collapsing while we’re in there?” You ask slightly worried, and you feel Nate take your hand in his own.
Ivan nods. “In these types of things, there’s always a risk involved. In fact, there are still many bones of miners buried underneath the collapsed parts. But hopefully everything will be safe today.” He says with a small laugh.
“Hopefully.” You mutter. You feel Nate give your hand a gentle squeeze before he turned to Ivan.
“Do you believe this place is haunted?”
The tour guide shrugs nonchalantly. “Yeah, maybe.”
Sam laughs. “He’s just like, oh whatever.”

“Dude, it’s so much colder in here.” You remark as soon as you step in the tunnels, your worries from earlier disappearing to the background.
“Yeah, it’s gonna be cold like all day.” Sam agrees.
Ivan takes you through numerous rooms and you already feel like you’re completely lost. You learn that the miners often take horses in here and that they would eventually go blind because of the absence of light. After discussing what this place would do to your biological clock and seeing the shooting range, Ivan takes you to the partisans’ hospital.
“Isn’t this like, way too small for all the people that lived down here?” You ask.
“Yes, of course. I am convinced that there are lots of other hospital rooms like this one throughout the tunnels. Obviously they won’t have like the beds in them because this is just part of the museum, but there are lots of places that could have been a hospital like this one.” Ivan says.
“C’mon dude, get it up.” You hear Sam say. You look over and see that Nate was messing with a blood pressure device thing.
“A lot of guys struggle with this, okay.” He says.
“I can help if you like.” You say seductively, winking at him. You see Colby fake gag and you’re pretty sure that if it hadn’t been for this odd lightning, Nate would have been blushing.
“Wrong website, guys!” Sam shouts laughing,
“Join xplrclub for only one dollar this week for more exclusive content.” You say at the camera, wiggling your eyebrows.
---
The hospital was the last stop of the museum tour, and you had to take a different entrance to go to the uncharted catacombs. What you didn’t realize, however, is that you had to walk up like 5 flights of stairs just to get back to the surface.
Once you get to the top, everyone’s panting heavily.
“Oh, fuck me.” You say, since that was more physical than you thought it would be. You realize how your exclaim sounds and you hold up one hand to Nate. “Don’t you dare make a joke out of that.”
He chuckles as response and puts both of his hands up defensively.
---
Once you get to the other entrance, you instantly notice the difference with the tunnels from the museum. The ground is muddy and slippery, and you have to carefully pay attention so you don’t end up on your ass.
“Somehow, you have to get down.” Ivan says, and we all let out a laugh.
Colby goes first. “It’s doable.” He says after he gets down. “I only caused like one avalanche.”
Once Nate had safely gotten down there, he extends a hand to you which you gratefully take.
A few meters further, Ivan stops and scans the area. “The entrance of the catacombs is blocked because of the flood. We’ll have to get in this way.” He says, gesturing to a tiny hole in the ceiling.
“We have to fit through that?” You ask perplexed.  You turn to look at Ivan, but he was already gone.
“Bro, our guide just disappeared.” Sam chuckles.
Once again, Colby decides to go first on this one. After a couple of moments of struggle, he had disappeared, and it almost looked like the ceiling had swallowed him. Sam is up next and then it’s your turn.
“Wish me luck.” You say and Nate kisses the top of your head gently. You hand him your go-pro and start climbing up.
“Did you hear that?” Colby asks as soon as you get your head up through the hole.
“What?” You frown, pushing yourself up as gracefully as you could.
“Dude, where did Ivan even go?” Sam wonders while looking around, the sound now completely forgotten.
You lend Nate who was right behind you a hand and pull him up.
“He went left, for sure.” Nate says, going in that direction. And sure enough, you suddenly bump back into Ivan, making your heart skip a beat.
“I checked and the lower levels are ruined from the flood. A lot of small tunnels, so probably not the best idea to go down there.” Your guide says and Sam’s eyes were already screaming ‘hell no’ at the small tunnels part.
“So, I propose we climb up.” Ivan continues, pointing a big gap in the wall about a meter and a half up. He shows us how to climb up and makes it look way easier than it would turn out to be.
“Why do I always wear skinny jeans when we do these types of things?” Colby sighs before holding onto the wall and climbing up. Nate is up next and this time it’s his turn to stretch out his hand for you.  Your foot suddenly slides off the wall and you feel Sam’s hands supporting your butt in order to not make you fall.
“Were you seriously groping my girlfriend’s ass, Golbach?” Nate asks once Sam gets up as well.
“Would you rather she broke her neck?” Sam says and Nate begins laughing. “Dude, I’m joking. Thank you so much for saving the life of my one true love.” He says dramatically, putting a hand over his heart.
Even though he had a playful tone, you couldn’t help but smile at his words.
---
You gather around the camera to start explaining the ghost stories of this place.
“It’s not just the biggest labyrinth in the world, on top of that, it’s also haunted.” Colby laughs.
“It is. There are a lot of ghost stories from here, one of them being Masha.” Sam says.
“Masha and her friends decided to explore the catacombs here late at night. They were drunk, it was New Year’s eve, and they were just some teenagers looking for some fun. They ended up spending the night here, and when they woke up, Masha wasn’t there anymore. Her friends tried to look for her but they never found her, and now she’s rumored to haunt these tunnels, still looking for a way out.” Colby says.
“Damn, that’s sad.” You say. Nate nods and continues the story.
“There were a lot of search parties sent out to look for her. A while later though, a group of young explores thought they had found her body and took pictures in front of it. A lot of people believed that this story was all a myth. So much even, that a journalist had to pressure the police to get the body out. From the looks of it, she had spent three days in pitch black and cold trying to find her way out before dying to dehydration.”
(A/N: I did some research on this story and there are a lot of different versions. Some of them say that Masha went in alone, others say that her friends went with her and ‘abandoned’ her in the tunnels. Some even say it never even happened. I just went with what I wrote here)
“Another entity that supposedly haunts this place is Bout.” You say. “He is said to protect any treasure from these tunnels. Bout was an officer from Odessa who was on board of the Titanic. They rescued him and he made like a small Titanic out of gold. He hid it in these catacombs and never came back for it.”
“For three generations though, people have come here to look for treasure. As the legend goes, if you took anything from here, Bout would cause amnesia and make whole tunnels collapse to make sure you never got out again. If you died here because of that, you would become the next Bout to protect the treasure here.” Sam says.
“There are actually a few versions of this legend. Another one is that it’s Brigantine, and not the Titanic. We’ll see some pictures of it later.” Ivan says from behind the camera.
“Obviously there are many ghost stories from this place, but I think the last one we should talk about is the White Hunter.” Sam says. “A long time ago, there were two guys down here and one of them got trapped. His friend ended up not helping him get out.”
“You guys better help me get out of here.” Colby says, looking at us.
“Yeah, 100% dude.”
“Oh hell no.” You say and Colby looks at you with a fake shocked face. “You put green hair dye in my shampoo. I’m still not over it.”
“For the record, that was three years ago, as a revenge prank. She had swapped my toothpaste with soy sauce.” He says while looking at the camera, and you grin at the memory.
“Anyway, this guy had so much anger at his friend that he came after anyone that was in here. If you didn’t, like, make the right offering, he could make you the next White Explorer.” Sam continues.
“Then, there’s another version of this story, that if you do make the right offering he would actually help you get out.” Colby says.
“Do we have anything to offer though?” You ask.
“We have Nate.” Sam deadpans and we all burst out laughing.
“Oh hell no, I don’t want his angry girlfriend putting ketchup in the coffee maker.” Colby says, looking at you with a scared expression.
----- Tiny time skip yall im sorry lol -----
“I can give you, like, a small task to test your orienteering skills if you want.” Ivan says, “if you go left on each crossroad, you should end up right here where we are now.”
“You’d be able to find us if we got lost though, right?” You ask, slightly nervous about going into the catacombs on your own.
“Yeah, I hope so.” Ivan says and everyone starts laughing uncomfortably.
“I’m going to need that hat of yours for this.” You say, taking Nate’s hat off of his head and putting it on your own.
“You look better with it anyway.” Nate flirts and Colby groans.
“Sam, why did we invite the lovebirds?” He says, seemingly annoyed, but you know he doesn’t mean any harm with it. While Colby was the one usually complaining about you and Nate being all cute together, he was also the one who rooted for the two of you the hardest when you weren’t dating yet.

“This is like, my worst nightmare.” Sam says and you immediately agree with him.
Nate places an arm around your waist and pulls you closer to him as you all start to walk into the dark tunnels.
“If we don’t find the way back, at least we’ll die together. That’s kind of romantic, right?” He says, probably attempting to comfort you a little.
“Dude,”, Colby says, “since when is dying together romantic?”
Nate rolls his eyes. “Have you ever heard of Romeo and Juliet?”
You take the first left turn before Sam replies. “Juliet was literally thirteen years old.”
“Guys!” you say loudly. “I don’t see any of you getting comforted by your significant other. Y’all are just jealous.”
Colby laughs. “Fair point.”
---
“Are we sure this is the right way?” Sam asks as Colby and Nate had already climbed through a hole in the wall.
You shrug, “It’s the only way to go left here.”
“Alright, so far we’ve taken two lefts and now we’re taking a right. So that means we should take two more lefts to make a square.” Sam says, slightly confused. “No wait, one more left.”
“So after three lefts, straight should come here.” Sam continues, pointing at a brick wall. “So if we take a right, we should take one more left.”
You laugh. “I didn’t understand anything of that and I’m pretty sure none of the viewers did too.”
“Wait, guys look.” Colby says, walking to a small hole in the wall.
“We’re not going down that, right?” You say as your eyes go wide.
“Yeah, no, Ivan said we’d come through that massive hole. If the massive hole is through the tiny hole, there’s no fucking way bro. I don’t want to go down that.” Sam says, and he looks just as scared as you.
“So we must have taken a wrong turn.” Colby says, thinking, and you nervously fumble with your hands. Nate notices and takes both of them in his own to calm you down.
“But we only took left?” Colby wonders, looking confused as shit.
“I guarantee you, the big hole is through the little hole, but I don’t want to go through the little hole.” Sam says, letting out a laugh.
Just as his sentence ends, you hear a bang down the small tunnel, making you jump. Nate lets go of your hands and hugs you from behind, leaning his head on your shoulder.
“Did you hear that?” Colby says with wide eyes.
“Yeah I heard that too.” Sam confirms.
“If this doesn’t work we’ll just go back the way we came, right?” You ask and you feel Nate nod against your shoulder before letting go of you to go first.
Nate attempts to shuffle through the small tunnel, and as he’s almost at the end, he quickly tries to get back as soon as possible.
“Did you hear that?” He asks, still halfway in the hole.
“Dude, that shook the ground. It sounded like giant rocks falling.”
“That means something collapsed, right?” Sam says.
“Ivan!” Nate yells through the tunnel.
“That’s got to be him, right?”
“Oh! Ivan, what’s up?” Nate says relieved as he pokes his head through the other side of the tunnel.
You let out a breath and Sam laughs. “Oh man, I was scared for a moment.”
Sam’s up next and after he tried to crouch through the whole thing, you start to go, but Colby holds you back.
“Wait, let’s mess with them for a bit.” He says and you grin at the idea. After dimming your flashlights, it didn’t take long for your friends to start calling out for you.
“Colby? Y/N?” You hear Sam’s voice. “Guys, are you coming?”
“Y/N? Please, this is not funny, okay?” Nate shouts and you almost feel bad for him.
“Nate really doesn’t give a shit about me.” Colby whispers, laughing,  and you snort before covering your mouth to stifle the sound.
“Should I go check?” Ivan says,  his voice muffled by the rock between you.
“Nah, we’re just messing with you.” Colby says, turning on the flashlight and you hear the others starting to laugh.
Once you got through, Nate places his hands on your hips and pouts. “Don’t do that to me, okay?”
You put your hands on his shoulders, looking into his adorable puppy eyes. “Aww, I’m sorry. A kiss to make it up?” You ask, eyeing his lips.
He grins and connects your lips, lightly squeezing your hips. Your hands make your way up to his hair and you forget where you are as that glorious tongue-
“They’re definitely dying here together.” Sam says and you notice his voice sounds a little too far away.
You pull away from Nate to see that the others had already started to move further down the catacombs.
“Forever lost in eternal love. It’s a good headline.” Colby snickers, looking at the two of you.
You shake your head at your friends before looking back at Nate who had the most adorable expression on his face.
“So it’s totally the hat, right?” You say, smirking. Nate usually wouldn’t let himself go this far when his friends where near.
“Yeah,”, he breathes, “it makes you look really fricking hot.”
--- time skip to the rituals lmao ---
“We are here, us four, all the way from the United States, to talk to any sort of spirit down here.” Sam says.
You were all set up, equipment scattered through the room and candles on the table in front of you. Not to mention the burning goat heads on the walls that made this place look even creepier.
“We don’t mean any harm or disrespect, we just want to hear your story.” You try.
“Woah, look!” Sam exclaims, pointing to the thermal camera that Nate is holding. “That just shut down!”
“And it has like no automatic shut down, right?” Colby asks.
“Yeah, after what happened at the conjuring house I checked, and it didn’t.”
“If anyone is down here, could you maybe try to communicate with us using one of these devices?” Nate asks. “You can come up to them and touch them, to let us know you’re here.”
After getting no response, you tried again with Ivan translating, but that didn’t seem to work either. You decided to move on after about thirty minutes, but then one of the candles from the goat heads fell down.
“Woah, holy fuck!” Sam shouts, walking over to where the candle fell. Just then, another one in the back of the room tumbled down.
“Look! That one as well!” You say, both scared and excited that something was finally happening.
“What?”
“Dude, two candles just went down, it was like the devil just winked at us.” Sam says.
Almost immediately after Sam said that, a cloak that hung on the wall fell down too, right next to Nate.
“Did you just hit that off?” Sam asks, pointing at the cloak.
“No, it just fell down right next to me!” Nate says with wide eyes.
“Nothing has ever happened before you, so maybe we should just go.” Ivan says from the side of the room, his eyes going between the cloak and the music box going off every now and then.
“Bro, it smell horrible in here.” Colby says.
“Honestly, let’s just get out of here.” You say, now definitely on edge.
“Yeah, if Ivan wants to get out, so do I.” Sam agrees, but another candle falls down.
As Sam and Colby are shouting about it, you grasp Nate’s hand and he squeezes back, just as scared as you are.
“Alright, I’m done.” Ivan says, and everyone agrees to get out of the tunnels.
After the fifteen-minute walk all the way back, you are finally able to breath in fresh air again. You close your eyes as the sun warms your skin, and Nate swears you had never looked more beautiful. The afternoon sun makes your hair look like it’s glowing and a peaceful expression on your face.
“Dude, you’re whipped.” Colby says with a smile, patting him on the shoulder before getting ready to film the outro to the video.
A smile forms on Nate’s face just by looking at you. “Yeah, I am.”

“Do you like my new tattoo?” You asked as you showed the raw skin to your boyfriend, Nate, as soon as he got back from hanging out with his friends. “It’s nice isn’t it?”
“Didn’t I tell you not to get a tattoo?” He sighed jokingly, knowing he had no real influence on whether you got a tattoo or not. “What even is that? A crow?”
“No!” You gasped, slightly upset he did not see the significance. You waited a few beats to give him a chance, but he just kept staring at you. “The first time we met, a raven attacked us, so it’s for us!”
“That’s stupid,” He lagged as he pulled you in to get a better look at it. Upon seeing your glare he responded with, “but cute.”

Nate Hardy NSFW headcanon
Minors DNI
A/N: NSFW stuff, I'm so sorry if it took it this long, I wasn't really motivated to do anything and didn't wanted to give something not so good, I still don't like it that much, but it was the best I could do for now.
Tumblr media
- He's definitely a soft Dom BUT can be rough when he feels like it or after some heated argument.
- For make up sex, he's also rough and will mark you as much as he can.
- I feel like he would like to leave mark on you a lot, like he genuinely like to see you get all red and flustered when someone point out some hickey on your neck, he also likes to do it if he's feeling more jealous or more possessive.
- if you're feeling stressed for some reason, I feel like he would eat you out to help you get distracted and also to help you relax.
- talking about eat you out, Nate would do this for hours if you let him, I feel like he genuinely enjoys it and he also love to hear the sounds that you make.
- If you have been a bit bratty and having an attitude with him, specially in front of his friends one of your punishments when you guys get back home would be him overstimulating you but not letting you cum, UNLESS you've been his really good girl, he would allow you to cum, but other than that not being able to cum would be your main punishment I would say.
- If he went to some investigation with Sam and Colby, and the camera wasn't on your guys, or you guys were together but separated from the other two investigating, or even if the boys were just not really paying attention and distracted, Nate would definitely tease you somehow, by whispering dirty things to you, he would have his hand on your lower back and slowly get to your ass and squeeze it, depending on how he was feeling, I can see him slightly brushing his fingers or putting a little bit of pressure with his fingers, on your cunt from behind of course, so his friends wouldn't see what's is going and he would keep teasing throughout the night, to the point where you almost can't keep it together anymore.
- I'm not sure if he's not vocal, I'm gonna say he's a bit vocal and will whimper and will be whining here and there or even grunting a bit, but nothing too much and nothing too loud.
- When you don't act like a bratty, and you guys just have a sweet and loving sex he definitely praises you a lot, you're his sweet good girl that he's so proud of.
- On the other hand, when you guys have a more rough and angry sex, he won't praise you but I don't think he will degrade you either, he has other ways to punish you.
- Definitely would fuck your mouth for talking back to him, when he told you a few times to not do that.
- I feel like when he cum, his hips would stutter and sometimes he "accidentally" pulls out which makes a mess all over you.
- But that only happens sometimes, usually his pull out game isn't that strong, so he definitely cum inside of you. Nate have a secretly breeding kink he just didn't fully discovered that yet, go tell him 😘.
- The aftercare with Nate it's just heaven, he's just so sweet and caring with you, will be making sure more than only one time that you're okay and he didn't hurted you, will kiss the marks he left on you, clean you and prepare a bath for the both of you, will get you water with snacks and after the bath both of you will cuddle on bed.
- Loves every part of your body, but his favorite is your titties and your ass, but he will go more often for your titties, even in a not sexual way, he's the type to have his hands on your titties a lot or lay down his head on them while you play with his hair.
- In a sexual way, this man will play with your boobs for hours if let him, squeezing it, twisting your nipples, licking it, softly bitting it, kissing it and the list goes.
- Oh also... This man will definitely to grabby hands to you, everytime you don't have shirt on and and have your titties out for him. He definitely likes when you ride him so he has easy access to them.
- Love shower sex.
- But also not really in a sexual way, this man love to shower with you so he can get to wash your body, he loves taking care for you and love every inch of your body, so why not wash your body for you, right?

From My Love to You || n.h. x reader
Prompt: after breaking things off with Colby, you realize just how much you yearn for a real love. it’s too bad that that kind of love had been there for you all along, and you missed it.
tw/cw: post-breakup, mentions of emotional abuse, friends to (potential) lovers, alcohol.
Tumblr media
pic is not mine, but was edited by me.
“I’ll be back for you, I promise”
“You should never make a promise you can’t keep, Cole.”
These were the last few words you spoke to one another. Colby had been beyond preoccupied with his and Sam’s workload. And aside from the sparse phone calls you both had while he was out traveling the country, communication was difficult to come by. He hardly ever reached out despite posting luxuriously on his socials, and neither of you could keep up with your schedules enough to miss one another.
Things turned sour far too soon into the relationship, and you two reached a heartbreaking epiphany; this wasn’t working and neither of you were content with each other’s presence. So, you bid him one last goodbye and safe travels, and left— something the both of you knew meant far more than it should’ve. You two were finished for good.
That night, after arriving to your crowded muck of a studio apartment, you thought of everything and anything you could’ve done to salvage your heart and mind. In the end, you reached an endless road and hit it head on.
You crashed and fumbled to regain yourself. And at some point, crying yourself to sleep was becoming a chore.
Three days after Colby announced the news of your breakup socially, you received a phone call. You dreaded having to explain yourself to yet another unsuspecting individual.
“Hello?”
“Y/N, it’s Nate. Do you want to have a drink?”
The silence beyond the line echoes into nothingness as you stare at the crowd of half-drunk beer and whiskey bottles spilling over your coffee table.
Nate is quick to correct himself,
“Actually.. how’s pizza sound? I can order some wings on the side. The good ones, yknow! The ones you liked last time?”
And oh,
Oh.
There went your last supply of tears until the next century. You bawled. It’s foolish, you think. But you do so anyway. This, in itself, is all it took for Nate to arrive at your somewhat-humble abode, hands and heart full of affection ready to be pooled at your desire.
“Wow you look..” Nate starts shakily, eyes narrowing in on the birds nest of a hairdo you’re sporting.
“Awful, I know.” You tut and offer assistance in lugging the bagfuls of snacks and drinks to the barest space in your mainly-stuffy living room.
“Ignore the mess.” You drawl sarcastically and Nate chuckles under his breath, bridging over cans and bottles to make it to any spot on your couch free of snot-cluttered tissues.
“Yeah I can’t say that’s possible, but what I can do though—“ Nate melts into the cushions with a groan as he unwraps a thank you bag and offers you your first full meal in what.. a week and a half(?)
“—Is feed you. Eat up, buttercup.” He smiles, forking into his own to-go box. You stare owlishly at his attire, finally having a moment to delve into any and all dilemmas aside from your own.
The clothes he’s clad in are splattered in paint, all aimlessly strewn. He’s taking his next bite into his meal when he feels your eyes boring into him. He pauses, gesturing for you to eat and you do. Still, your eyes never leave him.
“What’s the matter?” He ultimately says, breaking the sounds of the two of you eating. You shift further into your cushions, a pained grin finding it’s way to your lips.
“I’ve just ruined everything I had with one of your good friends and you’re asking me that? Nate, I’m heartbroken and wallowing in my own depression.” You blurt.
You hadn’t realized your eyes had shut until there’s a weight being placed into your shoulders. He’s wrapping you in his jacket and pulling you into his chest, seared just inches next to you.
You allow yourself to settle deeper into his embrace, making way for him to wrap his arms around your form.
“Look, I’ve made friends and lost some over the span of my twenty plus years of life. It’s unfortunate, yes, and I can’t say it’s the same as losing a partner, but I can at least sympathize with you in the sense that we both lost something in the end.”
Nate repositions your head underneath his chin, carefully rubbing at your back in mindless little shapes and movements. “It doesn’t make us any weaker; losing people. If anything, it makes us stronger. You’ll find new people and learn from them each step of the way. Regardless of how it ends up going.”
“You know, I thought..” he murmurs, voice rumbling from his chest against your ear. You take in his scent; fresh paint and pine. Home. He smells like home. “I thought I had lost you for good years ago. Back when Colby made you his.”
“Nate, what?” You pull away, frowning. His arms fall from you and instinctively wrap around himself. He shrugs, eyes focusing elsewhere. “You would never lose me, not that easy.” You joke.
He chuckles and nods. “I know. But I thought you would’ve given me the boot once you had a guy like him in your life.”
“And why’s that?” You speak, slow and cautious as if afraid of asking the wrong questions. He peers over his own lashes to look at you.
“Because I loved you in a way I shouldn’t have. Not as a friend. As a lover. I wanted you the way he had you.”
Your hands twitch from where they sit on your lap, fingers worming into a locked position as you wrap your mind around what you’d just heard. Was this a dream? Did you deserve to know this?
“I’m sorry, this is inappropriate for me to be saying so soon after—“
“Why did you let me go?” You interrupt him. He stops, mouth agape before proceeding with a breathy sigh.
“if I had you in the way I had wanted for so long, I would’ve never have been able to let you go again.”
“Then why didn’t you? Why didn’t you keep me?”
“Keep you?” He blanches, confused.
You nod. “You had me, back then. I was yours. You just never said it or asked for it. I would’ve.. I would’ve stayed yours.”
He’s wrapping you in arms once more, except this time, he’s holding you in a way you know all too well; he’s afraid. Afraid of losing you, just like you were only weeks ago in his friend’s arms. Begging for this to be a dream.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t save you from this heartbreak.” He mutters.
“If I let you fix my heart.. not now, but soon, will you keep it safe?” You ask, and before you have the opportunity to retract anything you said, he’s moving to peck your cheek. Gentle and loving. This is what it must feel like to really love someone.
It wasn’t a question, but a confirmation. You already knew the answer.
He’d love you in any way, shape or form that you allowed him to.
You didn’t have to ask for it because his love for you had never once dwindled past empty. His heart was full of you. From his to yours, he’d make sure your heart was ever full and cherished.
He was there for you.

Piss off your parents pt.2
Tumblr media
PART 1
PART 3
Colby Brock x Reader (Female)
Warnings: Drinking, Swearing
Genre: Angst, Friends to Lovers, Fake Dating, RPF (Real Person Fic)
Summary: Turns out, LA is packing way more surprises than you were prepared for.
He's still nursing the same drink he started the night with. Not by choice - he just knows that he might make some serious mistake if he indulges in anything more or stronger. The beer is treating him well.
Then again, if he sees Nate and Y/N making out one more fucking time he might steer to the whiskey.
He feels like a terrible friend, unsure of who he's being more unfair toward of the two. He should be happy for them. Like Sam. He can't take a page from his book, though. He can't be openly supportive and encouraging of the blooming romance between his friends. The most he can do is plaster on a strained fake smile and try to enjoy his night, keeping himself away from them. If he can't be a proper friend, the least he can do is not let his displeasure - and borderline selfishness - swim up to the surface.
Although his features are definitely giving a clear glimpse into the warzone that is his mind. Hard glare, set jaw, gritted teeth, furrowed brows. If Sam wasn't already several rounds deep he'd probably pick up on it instantly.
Thing is, he already has picked up on it. The avoidance, the cold shoulder, short-spokenness. He's been picking up on the clues for months but dared not bring it up. In his head, it makes no sense. To him, it always seemed like Colby and Y/N were the rom-com waiting to happen. Stolen glances, gentle touches, subtle affection, their own love language. All trademark Colby-Y/N stuff. Where Nate came into the equation is unclear to him.
Truthfully, nothing is clear to him right now. Which is why Colby is currently helping him off the table he can't remember climbing onto.
"Come on, dude. You're gonna break something important." He says, steadying his best friend when he hops down too enthusiastically for someone in his state.
Sam slurs a response but is grinning from ear to ear so he can only assume he's enjoying himself enough to not mind Colby gentle-parenting him. But also enjoying himself too much to be trusted and left to his own devices.
Scoping out the hotel club with a quick glance, Colby's gaze thankfully finds Corey. Who it doesn't find is the main culprits responsible for his deteriorating mental state. Where's a shot of whiskey when you need it?
"Mind watching over him for a bit? Imma go get a drink." He yells over the music directly into Corey's ear, nodding to the inebriated blonde who's swaying to the beat of the music without a care in the word. Colby aspires to be him in an hour, the risks of it be damned.
Corey accepts the duty, earning himself a grateful pat on the back from Colby who disappears into the crowd the same instant. He's heading toward the bar, eyeing the bottles lining the wall behind it greedily. He's sees the amber liquids as a sea he's about to drown his worries in.
That is if he can shake them, though.
And, try as he might, he can't.
Surveying the venue a couple more times, he feels a sickening pit settle into his gut at the absence of his two best friends. He can't remember when he lost sight of them nor how, especially since his eyes were glued to her the whole night.
Others would be a lot less concerned with this predicament. I mean, when two people like each other veryyy much, have had several drinks throughout the night and have disappeared from the party, it's pretty clear where they might be and what they might be doing. But Colby doesn't even wanna let his train of thought travel that way. Neither his heart nor his liver can handle that.
But that's when he spots Nate with Sam and Corey. Yet still no Y/N in sight.
Colby decides this calls for a search party.
He checks each and every corner of the club with upmost diligence. She's wearing a little black dress that is for sure to help her blend into the blur of the party with the minimal lighting and packed crowd. It's not a problem for him though, he could spot her from a plane. Which makes his lack of findings all the more concerning.
He eventually takes his search outside the club and into the hotel lobby. Then out on the sidewalk, then in the parking lot. He has soon scoped out the entire perimeter around the hotel without finding a trace of her. He's all out of places to search and chock-full of sickening worry. It's as if she's disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Speaking of smoke...
As he's making his way back to the hotel entrance, he catches something out of the corner of his eye. A small plume of smoke emanating from the cracked open window of one of the club bathrooms. That's when the idea pops up in his head.
He never checked the ladies' room. For obvious reasons, of course.
But his rationality and reasonability were checked clear from his system ten minutes ago when his body entered full panic mode. So...
Still he tries to reason with himself: Play the drunk card. Just accidentally stumbled into the wrong bathroom, that's all. 'I'm not a creep I swear, I just mixed up the doors'. That could work, yeah....
And so, with a quicker pace to his step, he steps out of the humid LA air and into the chillier and more pleasant hotel lobby. He stops for a second under the cold AC breeze to take a breath. Collect himself.
What if it's not her? What then?
That depressing train of thought is interrupted by a slight ping coming from his back pocket. He nearly drops his phone he takes it out so damn fast. He'd sent Y/N a string of messages and even tried calling her a few times, all attempts with no success. Therefore, for a split second, he's hopeful that maybe she's finally replied.
Much to his dismay, it ends up being wishful thinking.
Much more to his dismay....
"Hello Cole. How is Y/N?"
...it's her mom.
It's been eight months since the incident, six since they moved to LA. In that time, Y/N's mom has come around approximately half an inch closer to tolerating him. Mostly because he's her only intel on her daughter since she's so adamant on being stubborn and not talking to her. And Colby is more than happy to be of service, he just wishes....
What exactly?
Wishes they could mend their bridges? Wishes he didn't have to lie on both his and Y/N's behalf? Wishes he didn't feel s fucking guilty?
Wishes it wasn't all a ruse?
Mrs. Y/L/N checks in once every couple of days, often with texts at odd hours like this. She has a lot of night shifts to handle at the hospital so, when she gets downtime is when she stops to reach out with a message to Colby - who she believes is her daughter's boyfriend, mind you - to ask about Y/N.
And he's always been instant with the replies. 2AM, 4AM, 7AM, you name it. Never once has he taken more than a couple minutes to reply. He can't remember sleeping more than two to three hours a night if any since they moved here. He'd blame it on the weather change. Then again, he knows better.
His correspondent noticed this too...
"Why are you never asleep? Is something wrong?" She'd asked him at one point, showing genuine concern which truly warmed his heart. And then broke it right afterwards when he remembered he can't tell her what's wrong. He wishes he could tell her for whatever reason. He has a feeling she'd understand, maybe even like him better because of it. But how could he tell her? The charade needs to be upkept, the show must go on, and he'll just...well, suffer, really.
With a quick confirmation of Y/N's well-being, he continues his venture back into the club, making a quick beeline for the dark hall leading to the bathrooms. And yes, he feels like a creep but no, he can't turn back now.
So, he pushes the door to the women's restroom open.
Thank the heavens, he thinks to himself. For two reasons.
Firstly, because it's a single stall bathroom.
Secondly, because on the sink counter outside the stall sits Y/N and suddenly he's getting deja vu.
Mascara is staining her cheeks, a cigarette is hanging between her lips, her hair is a mess. But she still gives him a smile when she sees him come in. "Hey." She greets him, voice barely above a whisper, "You're not supposed to be here."
Colby quickly locks the door behind him, approaching her with a newfound shake in his knees. Given her state, he's quick to assume the worst. "Jesus Y/N, what's wrong? Did something happen? Talk to me."
She shakes her head, a few more strands of her disheveled hair going awry, "Nothing happened, nothing's wrong. I'm just...having fun." She sounds bitter. Not sad, not angry. Just bitter, regretful almost.
For some reason he chucks up to human nature, he feels anger start boiling in that lingering pit in his gut, "Where have you been?"
She motions to the counter below her nonchalantly, slurring a little "Here" in response.
"Where'd you get that?" He asks, nodding at the cigarette between her fingers.
She laughs, whether drunkenly or genuinely he's unsure. "Some girl gave it to me when she heard me crying in the bathroom."
Alarms start goin off once again. She's unaware she's playing him and his sanity like a yo-yo with each spoken word, "Why the fuck were you crying? What happened?!"
Y/N finds the audacity to roll her eyes at him, "Nothing! For fuck's sake, Colby, nothing happened!"
"How can you say that and expect me to believe it? Look at yourself! You're a mess!" He tries subduing his anger but it's impossible. He doesn't know where it's stemming from. Maybe it's all that pent up adrenaline from twenty minutes ago coming loose. Maybe his worry is mixing with the relief and melting into frustration. Maybe he's taking out his bitterness - piled on for months, mind you - on her. Even though she doesn't deserve it. And he knows that.
She deserves the world.
He just doesn't deserve her. And he's yet to come to terms with that.
"I'm perfectly fine, thank you." She sasses him, taking the last puff of her cigarette before tossing it out the window.
"You're mascara is running down your face, your hair is all over the place, your lipstick is smeared as fuck. There's a party going on out there but you prefer sitting on cold marble and smoking in a bathroom. You can't tell me there's nothing odd about that." He's losing it, he can feel his sanity slipping from his grip and he can't get a better grasp on it. All he can do is watch as it leaves him.
Y/N, in her usual fashion, is quick to clap back, "You're the odd one! You're fully sober at your own party, angry for whatever reason. You're standing here lecturing me instead of being out there having fun. Oh, and need I remind you, you're in the ladies' room."
He laughs humorlessly. Exhaustedly. "I haven't been on a wild goose chase the whole night for you to...."
"He doesn't want me."
Her words cut him off and cut him deep. The confusion is brief but the pieces fall into place almost immediately.
Nate
"There's no fucking way. You've been all over each other..." He stops himself when he realizes how upset he sounds recollecting all the instances he caught the two in their own world. The pit rattles, a sickening feeling climbing up his throat.
She scoffs, "Yeah, well that's all there is to it. It's all physical. And always prompted by alcohol." A long sigh escapes her lips, her shoulders slumping in defeat. "I'm just disappointed I didn't notice it sooner."
Colby Brock, for once in his life, has been rendered speechless. But he's aware staying quiet isn't an option. So he makes a weak attempt at a consolation, "Y/N, I-"
"Did you know?" She thankfully cuts him off before he can continue word vomiting.
He quickly shakes his head, "No. I swear I didn't. I would've told you."
"Yeah, I know. I know you would've. I just don't know why he told you he liked me when you asked him..." She sighs, picking at the hem of her dress, thankfully oblivious to the sudden paleness of Colby's face.
The sickness gets worse as he remembers his huge mistake. A lie he told months ago.
Y/N had asked him to fight this one battle for her and he still didn't do it, for utterly selfish reasons. She'd asked him for something so simple - ask Nate about his feelings for her, if there were any. And what did he do? He kept his tongue behind his teeth and quietly hoped she'd forget about it. Such a foolish thing to expect from someone completely head over heels in love.
So, when she inevitably checked in to find out the response, he had to lie. Lie and give her false hope he didn't even know was false at the time. There was a devil on his shoulder telling him to tell her the complete opposite but he could never be that evil.
He'd rather drink and sleep his way into coping through it all than watch his best friend be brokenhearted.
In the end it seems he somehow swerved the situation into hitting both those nails on the head. And he completely and utterly hates himself for having done that to Y/N.
The least he can do is come clean.
"I never asked him."
Silence. Fucking crickets. They can hear each other's heartbeats. And he can't bring himself to look up at her, let alone meet her eyes.
It feels like forever before words are spoken between them. She's the one to break the silence with one simple word: "Why?"
He can't tell her why. He doesn't know why.
Actually, you know what, fuck that. He knows exactly why and that's the reason he can't tell her.
"I don't know." He feels like such a coward. But the consequences of the truth terrify him.
"Why did you lie to me?" She doesn't sound angry. He wishes she did. Because the hurt he can hear in her voice is far worse than any furious wrath she could unleash upon him.
"I don't know."
"Fuck that, Colby. You're my best friend, for fuck's sake. You're the last person I'd expect to lie to me and you-"
"You don't wanna know why, Y/N." His restraint is growing weaker. He regrets the words as soon as he says them. He's aware she most definitely not leave it alone now. They're both stubborn, so fucking stubborn. Mules, if you will. Legends say they still reference something they bickered about a decade ago today.
"Yes I fucking do, Colby."
"It could ruin a lot of things."
"It won't."
"I don't wanna lose you."
"You won't."
"You promise?" He feels horrible asking for a promise from her after having revealed the biggest lie he's ever told her.
Well, second biggest anyway.
But she doesn't second his opinion because her response comes out faster than a bullet, "I promise."
In this moment of honesty, raw and bare honesty, how could he lie? How can he look her in the eyes and not tell her the truth? How can he even look at her? He owes her that much but doesn't know if he has it in himself to do it.
Forcing himself to look up, Colby swears he can feel a sharp pain in his chest. Her eyes are dry of tears by now but the shine remains, accentuated further by the fluorescent lighting. He swears he can feel himself fall for her all over again, even deeper.
"Because I'm in love with you, Y/N."
The crickets are back. The silence is eating away at him. He can feel her slipping through his fingers. Their decade long friendship flashes before his eyes. It feels like he's saying goodbye. To the memories, to the friendship. To the love of his life that never was.
The weight of the realness knocks his head back down, his gaze fixated on the black tiles beneath his feet. Shame, pain, dread and fear are all battling for first place, causing a whirlwind in his brain that nearly knocks him off his balance.
It's astonishing how much it hurts losing something you new you didn't deserve all along.

Villisca Axe Murder House
❥ Back to the Control Center
❥ Nate Hardy Masterlist
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Nate Hardy x fem!medium(?) reader
Summary: You decide to test yourself with this investigation of the place of the gruesome octuple murders... you've yet to deside if that was a horrible idea yet.
Word Count: 5.2k
Warnings: gore, murder, child murder, hauntings, language, probably an inaccurate spirit box session, inconsistent capitalization, my usual grammar warning, and for this fic in particular, I recomend you watch the video before to brush up on your knowlege of what this video exactly was. I will be mentioning some of the research and background, but I will not be going into detail and will be skiping most of the info sections. This is because, due to the sensitivity of this particular haunting and the details surrounding it, it didn't feel right to add it here in this way.
Dialogue Key:
Y/N
Nate
Sam
Colby
Seth
Tumblr media
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
It was dark by the time the boys realized they hadn't made the intro to their video yet. So, even though it would have to go about 15 minutes into the video, they decided to record their usual greeting by the wooden sign for tonight's location.
"What's up guys, it's Sam and Colby"
"Tonight we are at one of the most, spooky, haunted houses in the United States, the Villisca Axe murder house"
Sam stepped behind the camera, showing the two guests fade in from the dark behind the sign, "Today we got Nate, Seth," he spins around to where you were, still messing with the car. Not too long ago, you all got pulled over for a light being out, just to find out the light was fine.
You stepped forward when you heard your blonde friend, waving both hands at the camera with a wide smile.
"and Y/N!"
You stepped further - abandoning the weird occurrence with the car, slightly irritated about the ticket you got for what seems to be, no reason - and join the group instead.
"Right now we start a night alone, in this house. We are about to tell you, guys, one of the most insane murder mysteries I've ever heard of."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Usually, haunted places didn't have the best energy surrounding them, but that was hardly unusual. The difference between this house and the others was the sheer intensity of the feeling. When entering a location, you usually could tell it was haunted due to the emotions you picked up on.
First of all, there would be way too many, feeling as if you were in a crowded street rather than an empty house.
Secondly, no matter what feeling there was - of a spirit or a residual haunting - there was a layer of grief, sadness, or pain floating above it all. It was hard to explain, but it was almost as if no matter the emotion you picked up on, there was a layer over top of it, a veil of anguish covering all.
This house, felt as if you entered an ice bath.
It was intense and strong, the light feeling that you'd come to associate with the dead surging up through your veins in intense amounts. The coldness of the spiritual atmosphere so extreme, it caused a physical chill to rise through your bones. The change from so drastic, You almost stumbled walking through the door.
Nate noticed. he knew all your quirks by now, and the shiver that racked your body the moment you entered took him by surprise. The shock, quickly vanished when he realized that whatever the intensity he felt in the house, you felt a hundred times over.
He moved to stand behind you, slipping off his jacket and draping it over your form. He couldn't tell if you were cold, if it was the shift, or both, but he hoped that it would give you a sense of comfort no matter what.
You jumped a little when he did so, startled out of the light trance you fell in, trying to pinpoint exactly where in the house the feelings originated. You turned, smiling up at him as you pulled the jacket tighter around yourself.
Unlike the boys, this was your first time in the house. you'd opted out of the tours earlier that day, having a sudden urge to stay out of the home... only wanting to stay in there for as little as you had to.
You were able to brush it off easily, Sam and Colby were so interested in your "gifts" that they quickly agreed when you told them the reason you didn't want to go with them on the tour was so you could test your abilities later, seeing if you could figure it out with no prior knowledge.
Soon, all the boys had entered the room, including Colby who was currently operating the camera.
"So Y/N" Sam spoke, rubbing his hands together with a slight smile on his face, "What do ya' think so far?"
"Well," you sighed, bouncing slightly on the balls of your feet, using it as a way to release the feeling of the excess energies surrounding you, "It's a very strong feeling, not like anything I've ever felt before." your eyebrows crinkled slightly, trying to figure out the best way to explain it exactly. "You know when like, you have an overload of feelings? and you can't tell if you are angry or sad or upset?" the boys all nodded. "it's like that, but heavier and darker, it's almost suffocating if I'm honest." you laughed off the last bit, hoping to dispel the intense looks from the other boys.
"Yeah, that makes sense." Colby nodded, "The house is known to have a particularly dark feeling associated with it."
"Yeah, yeah, I could even feel it when we were just doing the tour earlier," Seth added.
Sam, meanwhile, just looked incredibly excited about the whole endeavor. As previously explained, he was probably the most interested in your abilities and was excited whenever something happened with them. "Well, in that case anywhere you think we should check out?"
You laughed softly, "Well, I don't really know anything about the layout of the home or which room is which," you trailed off walking across the room and toward a doorway, approaching the stairs, "but I'm thinking upstairs? I don't know, it seems to be stronger? I guess? the closer I get to them."
You were still facing the stairs, so you'd yet to see the wide-eyed looks from all the boys-- well, all save for Nate. He'd gotten used to it spending more time with you and knew how good you were at figuring things like this out. So, while all the boys looked surprised he just stood there, looking incredibly smug and proud.
"I don't know" you shrugged, always one to doubt things like this. After all, it could just be your nerves tainting whatever you thought you were sensing, "I could be wrong though."
"No, no you're right" Sam rushed excitedly, looking at the door, "The killer would've come in here" he walked over standing beside you, "and would've immediately gone up these steps."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
It was clear after a bit more information was revealed to you why Nate was acting so strange in this house, and it was all because of one particular suspect who was said to be around the house, Reverend Kelly.
Usually, while the boys were talking about the facts and explaining details to the viewers, you would be able to wander a little. You couldn't see or hear spirits speak like other mediums, but you were able to pick up on emotions.
So, you would take this little bit of time to follow these emotions around the house until you found the specific spot they came from. You'd also use your knowledge of such emotions and energies to help the boys with where to investigate first, and where to steer clear from. However, it didn't seem like you would be doing that tonight.
You tried to walk off almost immediately after you'd gained your bearings from the initial energy shift, trying to walk up the stairs as Sam continues to explain the story in the first room of the house. You were quickly stopped by Nate, who just shook his head as he pulled you closer to him, wrapping his arms around you from behind, chest pressed against your back as you both faced Sam.
You looked upward, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "What are you doing?" you whispered, "I was just going to go check things out" You cut yourself off when you saw the grimace on his face, "Is something wrong?"
He would've explained it all to you then since you hadn't heard earlier, but he decided against it, knowing that they'd get to it when they were upstairs in the kid's room. The explanation there would be a million times better than whatever quick filler he could give to you then while Sam was explaining the main story of the home. So instead, he simply shook his head, "You'll hear about it later."
And hear about it later you did. When the group migrated upstairs, you understood perfectly.
It all made sense why Nate wanted to keep you in his sights at all times, why he always seemed to be hugging you from behind, or wrapping his arm around your shoulders.
The Reverend was far from holy and was one of the most corrupt ministers you'd ever had the displeasure of learning about. To sum it up, he had a love for women and a history of doing anything to quench his lust.
You, just so happened to be the only woman in the house.
If it was even possible, your stomach dropped further than it already was and you felt sicker than you already had.
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
A few minutes later, the summary tour for the viewers was over and you all gathered in a room to begin the investigation, the EMF pump turned on and equipment ready to go.
The spirits seemed ready to communicate as well, seeing as things started going off before the camera was ever rolling. Namely, the toy you all found in the laundry basket and the cat ball placed in the closet.
"Can I request something insane for later?" you asked, watching as each piece of equipment by the closet seemed to go off, "Can we try the Estes method in the closet later tonight?"
Everyone turned, all the boys looking at you like you were crazy.
"Yeah... I don't know about that-" Colby spoke up, apprehension clear in his voice as Sam and Seth nodded along.
"We were just talking about how dangerous that closet has been" Nate chimed in cutting off the others.
"Well to be fair... that was because they admitted they were trying to provoke it" you shrugged, "who knows, we might get something good. especially since it seems to be pretty active in the past."
Nate looked wary, his lips pulled in a tight wince unsure of what to say, "I don't know..."
"I mean I'll do it" you spoke nonchalantly looking at the rest of the boys, "Just thought it may be a good idea."
Then the cat ball in the closet went off.
"Looks like they agree" Colby laughed unsure of the situation, and quite frankly a little freaked out. The cat balls usually didn't go off at all, but they seemed to be going off constantly here and they barely even started.
Then the REM pod in the doorway also started going off.
"It's pointing toward the ball" Colby shouted, quickly whipping the camera back and forth, showing the clear path the equipment was starting to make.
You were beginning to regret offering to sit in that closet, senses diluted, and in the dark for that Estes session later.
"Should we put it in the closet-" Sam began to ask, stopping himself short and looking back at all of you with wide eyes, "it just changed directions"
"Do you think it wants us to follow it?"
Sam moved to make a step toward the device and it immediately stopped.
"Dude it stopped as soon as you said it" Seth spoke, equal parts excitement and astonishment in his voice.
Nate just stood there, smiling in disbelief and rubbing his forehead with one arm as the other was wrapped tightly around your waist. his grip tightened slightly each time a piece of equipment went off.
"Oh my god! It wants us to go upstairs!" Sam yelled, realisation strung across his features, "Johnny literally said-"
"Right now?"
"Johny said that 90% of the activity happens upstairs."
"You said do you want us to follow it..."
"That's the only time it left the room," you spoke over the boys dragging Nate behind you as you approached the doorway, "it's telling us to follow it, so I think we should go while it wants to talk to us."
"If there's something here, we're goin"
"We're listening"
You led the group, Sam and Colby tailing the back.
You made your way up the stairs, no real destination in your mind other than 'up'. At the sight of a room not that far ahead, your first thought was to go there... until you felt something guiding you elsewhere.
You tilted your head, pivoting slightly away from that room and walking further down the hall. The air felt more electric here and it only seemed to get stronger the more you progressed down the hall. You recoiled at a sharp chill that went down your spine.
This room. This is the one to go to next.
You turned, facing Nate outside the room, cutting him off before he could ask the question you already knew he would ask, "I'm fine, just a weird feeling" you shrugged off, "Anyway, what's this room? Is it important?"
He was smirking when he realized where you'd lead them, "Are you sure you didn't do any research before?" He walked past you, entering the unfinished room, "Babe this is the attic"
He spoke with so much emphasis and with so little explanation you swore he was making fun of you. Like, 'Oh wow, of all the places in the haunted murder building you brought us to the attic, not you know, the place of the crime.'
Which you totally understood. You weren't quite sure why it felt so weird in the attic either. Maybe it was because it was an older house and falling through a modern home's attic was a legitimate possibility.
You crossed your arms over your chest in irritation, adding in a dramatic eye roll for effect as your boyfriend continued to hop around the unfurnished room. "Yeah, I see that Nate. The lack of real walls and crummy floors really sell that. Come on, let's just go to one of the rooms or something-"
"No, babe" he moved forward, grabbing your arm and pulling you into the attic space, "This is where they think the killer was hiding."
Colby entered the attic after the two of you, the rest of the group being slightly behind the two of you. The tree of you searching the space with the help of your phone's flashlights while Sam and Seth set up the equipment on the landing.
You had ventured to a further back part of the attic when Sam called from outside the door, the faint sound of the REM pod accompanied his words "Yo guys!"
Nate and Colby were closer to the door and entered the hall quicker than you could from the back.
Sam saw you coming toward the door to leave but motioned for you to wait a minute gesturing down at the music box, which was facing into the attic. You understood immediately, stepping to the side out of the range of the doorway.
You were still pretty far back in the attic and it would take you a second to reach the door. It needed to be tested now, and it would be much easier to test if a spirit was actually messing with the equipment if you didn't run the risk of accidentally setting it off or decalibrating the device as you exited the room.
As soon as the music box was turned on the music began to play alongside the REM pod.
"It's pointing to the attic!" Colby exclaimed, showing the bright green light facing the doorway through the camera.
"The theory he could've been in the attic" Seth rushed with wide eyes.
Nate looked toward the camera to elaborate, voice raised a little to make sure you could also hear the information from the other side of the wall, "So this is one of the areas the killer might have been hiding. It's either here or the barn."
"If the killer was in the attic can you make one of these devices stop?"
The two devices dwindled, both completely stopping after a few minutes.
You didn't hear any of the conversations, only being able to make out a few muffled words from where you stood to make sure you didn't accidentally trigger the device. The only thing you heard clearly was Nate explaining what he'd already told you.
But, at the same time that Sam had asked for the spirit to turn off the devices if he was in the attic, you started hearing a different form of communication. A steady series of knocks on the wood panel behind your head.
If you'd known any better, you would've realized the pattern in which the taps came. four, one, three, one. over and over.
Which, just so happened to be the series for the word 'here' in Morse code.
It was after you heard the faint noise of the equipment stop that you spoke up. "C-can I come out now?"
"Yeah, sorry about that Y/N"
Nate stuck his head in the doorway, sticking out his arm to help you out. It took him all of half a second to recognize the slight panic on your face and the white-knuckled grip you held on the sleeves of his jacket- which you still wore. "You alright?"
"Uh" you spoke louder so everyone could hear, "I don't really know what you guys were talking about, but there was some pretty constant- uh- knocking in there..."
"Oh my god- you're joking-"
"No shot"
"Are you serious"
You simply nodded, glancing between the four of them until Sam decided to fill you in, "Y/N... we just asked it if the killer was in the attic."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
For the next several minutes, you and the boys tried to come up with reasonable explanations for the equipment to be going off like it had been.
After confirming that there was no way to debunk it, the group concluded that the equipment was guiding you all on a tour, retracing the steps the killer made.
At least, until you made it to the kid's bedroom, where none of the equipment was going off at all.
Colby turned to the REM pod placed on one of the beds, "Do you want us to leave?"
and for the first time in that room, a piece of equipment went off.
Sam stood staring at the device, "And look where it's pointing"
"Outside."
None of you freaked out, all of you were shocked into silence. Five minutes of trying to communicate in this room, and it only went off when you mentioned leaving.
Sam moved to collect the equipment when Seth spoke up, "I really think we should do something in the attic"
You nodded, pointing at him, "Yeah, yeah I definitely agree"
"if the killer was waiting in the attic, he was waiting there for a long time. If this activity is residual, he's bound to still have an imprint in the attic. What if we can talk to him via a spirit box or something?"
"Yeah," Nate nodded along, "Plus that's the first place Y/N went to"
"It feels very static-y in there if that makes any sense" you added, "I don't know how to really explain it. I agree with Seth though, if we're going to get anything else tonight, I have a really good feeling it's going to be in the attic."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Colby was the first to go under.
The minute he put the headphones on, a noise came from downstairs. One which sounded like the front door slowly swinging open.
Your head whipped up, wide eyes flicking between the others. You didn't have to ask, their own wide eyes answered just fine, but you couldn't stop the words from leaving your mouth, "Did you hear that..?"
Your boyfriend nodded, reaching to you next to him and grabbing one of your knees, which had begun to shake. "What is that?"
"Is someone here?"
"If you're here, can you make yourself known?"
Silence.
"We have the geophone-"
"Mystery"
"If anyone"
"Is here"
"Oh, it sounds like-" Sam tried to speak, constantly being cut off by Colby, speaking on behalf of the spirit box, "it sounds like two people talking to each other"
"Family"
"Yeah, it's sounding like a conversation"
"Me"
"Record that"
The four of you shot up at that.
"No way" you whispered
"We're not even asking any questions" Sam uttered in pure disbelief, "are we talking to anybody in specific?"
"Watching"
"Are you watching us?"
"One flight"
"One flight of stairs?"
"Now"
"Do you want us to go downstairs?"
"Fired"
[Cutting out this portion because... well... above disclaimer. If you watched the video you probably know what this is, it just feels wrong to add and makes me sick to think about.]
"End this"
"I don't know what you're talking about-"
"Is he with you?"
"Is who with me?"
"Me"
A door slammed downstairs, shocking you to the point that you would've fallen from your chair if Nate hadn't grabbed you.
Seth jumped as well, hitting Colby to get him out of the trance and fill him in on what was going on.
"What?" Colby repeated over and over, his friends were all freaking out, and he had no clue what was going on.
"The door slammed" you breathed out.
"What?" he exclaimed, looking between all of you, "What door?"
"I don't know" Sam panicked, "the one downstairs, It's on camera, I actually don't know."
"It could've been the front door?" you guessed
"No." Colby shot down, shaking his head, "Nah, I closed that one."
Sam and Nate went down to investigate and figure out what could've caused the slam, you, Seth, and Colby staying up in the attic.
[ Also cutting this, nothing special, just pretend reader was just sitting along for the ride when Seth and Colby heard the stuff on the stairs. We're cutting to when they all go downstairs to the last room and Colby goes back to the estes method. ]
You shivered, arms wrapping around yourself as you rock back and forth, "I don't like this room" you stated, "like I genuinely feel like I'm going to be sick in here-"
"That's about right"
"Sweet." you huffed, "Fucking love that."
"I think it was right here"
"No way!"
"What? You're kidding"
"Cold"
"You think what was right here?"
"Please"
"Explain what was right here"
"You walk away"
The second Colby finished the sentence, the REM pod began to go off, pointing out the door.
Your eyes widened, "Do you think the spirit was telling a different spirit to leave?" you looked quickly between the boys, "And thats why the REM pod is going off and pointing away, out the door?"
Seth nodded slowly, "Yeah... yeah that's definately a possibility."
"Who's talking to us right now?" Sam rushed, "Who are you? Can you give us a name? Anything a sign?"
"You said you think he was here, who is he?"
"That would be able to get away with it"
Colby yelled, that was one of the longest and most clear sentences any of you had ever gotten. Even crazier was how much sense it made for the conversation the rest of you were having.
"Who would be the guy that would be able to get away with it?" Sam pushed, stepping closer to Colby just to get cut off by said man.
"Lies"
"Screaming"
"Trust me"
"Give us a name-" Sam insisted.
"Please give us a name"
"-He said... who would be the person who could get away with it?"
"Remember"
"We're remembering" Seth added, voice calm as he could manage, "we remember you."
"Do we know this name?"
"Do we already know who you are?" you spoke up, "Are you telling us to remember because we already know?" you had a sneaking suspicion of what was coming through, and you really hoped it was wrong.
Otherwise, you're really beginning to regret volunteering to do the method in the closet.
"That's the reason why"
"What's the reason why? What was the reason for these murders?"
"Train"
"Were you on the train?"
"Implications of..."
"Implications of the train?" Sam spoke, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, in the end deciding just to ignore that for now. "Who are we speaking with?"
"yes please tell us who you are."
"You know"
"no, we don't" Sam insisted.
"I-" you began, only for Colby to interrupt.
"You know"
"I think..." you whispered, waiting for Colby to interrupt you again. when he didn't, you continued, "I think I know."
"Good job"
"Oh my god-"
"I think it's-"
"No, no"
"Mk" you spoke, fake cheeriness dripping from your tone to hide the discomfort flooding your body, "That's cool. I'm not gonna say it then."
"Paul Miller" Sam spoke, trying to solve it instead, "was he the murderer?"
"Impossible"
"Was it the Reverend George Kelly or was it something-"
"Kill me"
"He was going"
"How would you feel if we took off the cover to the mirror?"
"This one?"
"Yes this mirror"
"We can"
Sam stepped forward, a hand on the sheet to pull it off, "Ok were going to."
"Run"
"I had to run"
"You had to leave the scene of the crime?"
"No choice"
"It was worth it"
"That gave me chills" you spoke, shock rendering you almost breathless at this point
"What was worth it? The murders?
"Who are you?"
"You know"
The session started to run on the lengthy side, so to be safe, you pulled Colby out to converse.
"Did any of that make sense?"
"Yes, you kept saying 'you know him' and you kept saying stuff about railroads and trains."
"Speaking of 'you know him'" Seth began, turning to face you, "what were you thinking?"
"Oh right!" Sam exclaimed, "You said you had an idea of who it was but Colby kept cutting you off" he reiterated for the viewers as well as the man who hadn't been able to experience half of the conversation.
You looked up between all of them from where you sat on the bed, shrinking in on yourself a little, "I just-" you stuttered, "I just have a really good feeling it's Kelly."
"That would make sense why he kept saying no" Nate spoke, "he was a reverend and was probably ashamed of his sins for doing it. Yeah, he was cryptic as hell when he left and ended up confessing to it all, but he was still a preacher... maybe that's why he was saying 'you know' but never actually wanting you to say it out loud."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Next, was the part that you had slowly begun to get less and less excited for as the night went on. Now it was your turn to do the Estes method, sitting criss-cross on the floor of the closet.
"This is your last chance-"
"Put out the lamp"
"Do you want us to turn out the light?"
"He's here"
"Who's here?"
Nate thought back, remembering all the times you'd offhand mentioned something to him though the night, and that was that you thought it was playing tricks on you all. It enjoyed how your group would follow it aimlessly through the home and freak out when it set things off, you felt like it was watching you, messing with you, and playing sick a game of tag with you all. So, he decided to ask the question you'd been secretly asking all night long.
"Are you messing with us?"
"Thanks for being here"
"It's fucking with us."
"All over"
"All over the house?"
"Mhm"
Sam jumped, "The cat ball!" he yelled pointing to the closet, "The catball behind her just went off"
You're head popped up and you shook your head a bit, "That wasn't funny at all." you rushed, the boys all began freaking out, thinking the box was saying that when you spoke again "This isn't the box by the way- but I swear to god Nate if you pull my hair again while I'm doing this shit, I'm breaking up with you."
The boys really began freaking out then. All were at least 3 feet from you at the time.
"You'll see why I'm so excited"
"Oh my god" Sam yelled, "It never says full sentences like that-"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah! And to have so many all in the same night?"
You pulled the jacket tighter around yourself, "It's so fucking cold" you muttered.
"Wait-" Nate gasped, "there was something-" he turned to the closet, "are you behind her?"
"Behind"
"Did you commit these murders because you were a pervert?"
you ground your teeth, "Nate I swear to fucking god" you hissed, "don't pull my hair-" your back quickly straightened, hearing more words flood through the speakers.
"You said this already"
You spoke in a sing-song voice, doing your best to imitate the intonation of the voice you heard through the headphones
"At the beginning"
"The who are you" Sam insisted once more, starting to get irritated by the sheer number of times he'd asked the same question.
"You know"
"I am"
"I'm the Reverend"
Nate dove forward, looking back to the rest of the group now that he was inches in front of you ready to rip the headphones from your head.
"Are we done?" he rushed, eyes wide in urgency, "Can we be done? Can I pull her out? I do not want her sitting in the closet with him behind her- especially when it's pulling her hair and stuff-"
The boys all began nodding, Colby the first to speak, "Yeah, yeah dude, get her out of there like now."
That's all your boyfriend needed to lean forward and take the device off your head, pulling your body from the floor and as far from the closet as he could manage.
You glared at him as he did so, slapping his shoulder once "That wasn't funny. Don't fucking do that-"
"Babe" he grabbed your shoulders, looking you straight in the eyes, "I didn't touch you. I swear."
"Yeah" Sam spoke up behind the two of you, "We were all like, several feet from you."
"Yeah Y/N, no one touched you" Colby gestured to the camera, "We can show you the footage if you'd like."
You were freaked out before, but with that information as well as everything they filled you in on, you were ready to leave. You didn't care about finishing the investigation and you didn't care about any more information they could possibly gain by going any further.
The boys, for the sake of closure and for the sake of answers for the viewers, wanted to continue. You respected it, but you couldn't force yourself to do it anymore and to be completely honest, you were terrified.
Doing investigations with your friends was fun, but this was one you couldn't finish. Not when you felt this sick to your stomach. Not when you potentially had a creepy pervy Reverend standing behind you in a closet pulling your hair. Not when you felt as targeted as you did. Not when you could tell whatever the spirit was, was having fun running all of you in circles.
So instead, while the boys tried the Estes session one last time in the master bedroom, you had taken the keys to Nate's car and was driving back to the hotel. You'd brought some sage on the trip- not too sure how to use it, but you had a feeling it may be necessary for this little road trip of investigation videos.
You don't know why you hadn't brought it with you earlier, but you felt like leaving to get it was more than worth it in this scenario.
You began by smudging yourself, then the hotel room just in case you brought anything with you. Then, you walked to the parking lot, smudging Nate's car as well. The people who saw you probably thought you were insane, but you couldn't care less at the moment.
Better safe than sorry.
When you deemed everything properly smudged, you plopped back into the driver's seat, sage bundle in the cupholder, on the way back to the Villisca House to do the same to the boys.

hello, happy new year, hope you have a great year <3
do you think you can write a seth borden relationship headcanos? like what is like to date him
thank you, hopefully you write more and also any reactions including the whole group (seth, sam, colby, josh)
Hello, Happy New Years to you as well! I am so sorry that it has taken me a few to answer this! I am a CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant) and my place of work wants me to work more hours. But anyways, let's go!
Dating Seth Borden Would Include:
Seth Borden x Reader
I feel like be would be really shy at first, given his family's history, not many people got too close
But you liked him
Like a lot
You guys met during the Bell Witch Cave video, Sam and Colby allowed you to come along with them because your Colby's little sister and you begged to come along
You may not be in the video but you did experience every thing with them
You went to the back of the cave with Josh and Seth and you felt the presence of the Bell Witch and froze
Seth didn't think anything of it and hugged you, you were in shock and began the blush really hard, he was really comforting
You guys came back and he was stuck by your side and you didn't complain, although Colby was a bit protective and did the typical older brother thing
After the video, Seth asked you on a date
Typical dates for you and Seth are picnics, going to candy stores, and going to the movies
It is cute and he is super clingy, staying by your side the entire time and holding your hand
Of course everyone is happy for you
When you told Colby you are dating Seth he had told him to be kind and not to hurt you, he was your first boyfriend so it would all be new (mostly because Colby never thought anyone was good enough)
Sam thought of you as a little sister as well but was beyond excited for you because he knew that Seth is a good person
Nate sees you as a best friend after growing up with you and Colby and he had a bit of a crush on you but he wasn't gonna let that stop you from being happy with Seth
Seth is just over all a good person and a great boyfriend
He is clingy, loves to randomly dance with you without music
He loves to take you on trips with him and have a good time exploring places with him and his group
Sorry if that wasn't exactly the ask but I hope you like it!

Fanfic Ideas I Probably Will Never Write (8/?): Hangover Movie AU
“ You spin my head right round, right round When you go down, when you go down down You spin my head right round, right round When you go down, when you go down down.”
“SHIT!”
Colby tried to calm his breathing, but it was a bit hard when Alex was having a panic attack behind him and Nate trying to calm him down. He looked down at the number calling on his phone, surprised he could even see the number with how cracked his screen was, but he knew that number anywhere.
“Fucking answer it, Colby,” Nate snapped at him before turning back to Alex and getting him calmed down, “Breathe, Alex-- in and out, brother! Not that fucking hard!”
“Shut up!” Both Colby and Alex snapped at him.
Nate only narrowed his eyes at Alex.
Colby hesitantly pressed “Answer,” and brought the phone up to his ear, trying to keep his voice even, “Hey, Kat! How’s the wedding prep going?”
“Good-- I was wondering if I could talk to Sam?” Katrina’s voice was pleasant and calm, as any bride-to-be should be on their wedding day.
Everything flashed in Colby’s mind:
1. Sam was missing. That was quite important considering he was supposed to be at a wedding in less than six hours... and he was the groom.
2. They couldn’t find Sam. That was also quite important, too. Probably should be number one on this list.
3. Alex was missing a tooth. Not sure how that happened, but then again, they woke up with a fucking tiger in their penthouse. Knowing Alex, both of these coincided. Alex now talked with a lisp, and he was wining about how his mom was going to kill him.
4. There was a baby in the backseat of their stolen cop car... and now it seemed like Colby had end up married to some woman he didn’t know, who just so happened to have a baby and was a stripper. Not that Colby had anything against strippers, but that wasn’t the top of his list of possibilities to take home to see mom.
5. They had no money, no ID, and no idea what to do now. They probably were wanted fugitives considering they had a stolen cop car, a baby, and some fucked up memories of the bachelor party the night before.
So, when Katrina asked if she could talk to Sam, Colby swallowed his pride and ran a shaky hand through his hair, “Ummm... Kat, we fucked up.”

𝟳 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗬/𝗡 𝗕𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗘 (𝗣𝗟𝗨𝗦 𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧)
Tumblr media
pairing: chris sturniolo x fem!reader
word count: 2.4k
summary: you find a video of a series of clips that someone found of you and chris being cute
warnings: established relationship, swearing, kissing, covid (yes, it has to be a warning because it is horrible)
Tumblr media
Your eyebrows lifted in surprise when you saw the title 7 minutes of Chris and Y/n being cute. You had just been scrolling on YouTube while sitting on the couch of the triplets house, waiting for the boys to be back from filming. You had started on Instagram, catching up on family and friends, and liking some posts that you were tagged in. You then moved to YouTube after getting bored and there was nothing new on your feed.
You never expected to see something like this besides the five to ten second clips on TikTok when you’re caught in the back of a video or posted on someone’s Snapchat story, but you were surprised and entertained that someone had gotten a whole seven minutes. You weren’t an influencer or content creator of any kind; you worked a menial job and only posted on Instagram and TikTok, and rarely featured in the boys’ videos. You knew you would be in the public eye when you and Chris started dating, but you didn’t expect your relationship to have a following.
You ended up clicking on it, interest taking over and the amount of views reeling you in. You wanted to see why the video was so popular . . . And maybe show it to Chris when he came home. The first thing that greeted you was an intro, and then the clips started. The first one was from a recent video where Nick, Matt, and Chris travelled to Texas for a Sam and Colby collab. You tagged along, wanting to go to a couple stores and also offered to help film for the duo’s video. The clip was where Nick decided to wake up you and Chris with Lemonade. You barely remembered that happened as you were so drowsy, and are still confused why the oldest brother thought it was so funny.
Nick walked towards the bed where you and Chris were laying down. Chris was on his back with his head facing the direction of the camera. You were on your stomach, head tucked into the boys neck as your arm was sprawled across his chest. Chris opted to sleep shirtless even though it was insanely cold in Texas while you were wearing a sweater and some spandex, your leg peeking out of the comforter. When you and Chris cuddled when you slept, he always ended up burning hot and you subconsciously slip some part of your body out of the covers.
“Chris do you want a sip?” Nick’s voice was heard as he tilted the bottle of lemonade towards you both. “Y/n?” You made a ‘hm’ sound and Chris lifted his head up, delirious but still making sure not to knock your head. He put it down once he saw his brother. He shuffled a little bit, turning his head. “Do you want a sip or no? Are you thirsty?” Nick continued, tilting the bottle even more? This time you had opened your eyes, looking up at your best friend. “Nick . . . What?” You questioned, confused. “Of what Nick?” Chris’s voice came from beside you, hoarse from sleep.
“Lemonade. Do you guys want some?” The oldest triplet continued. You curled more towards Chris and tightened your arms around him as you made a sound of annoyance. “Nick, I’m tired. Please.” You begged him, shoving your face into the crook of your boyfriends neck again. “Are you fucking stupid?” Your boyfriend asked, awake enough to realize what was happening and get angry. “Leave us alone.” Nick raised his hands in defense. “Alright, alright. It’s over here if you want it,” he spoke as he placed it down. “Go away.” You murmured as you fell back asleep, Chris turning towards you.
The next clip was the boys on the podcast. They were talking with Nate about childhood memories and growing up together in Boston. The camera flipped from Matt to Chris as he was doing something on his phone. “━━ I’m sorry Matt. Chris . . . what are you doing?” Nick interrupted the boy as he faced towards Chris. Chris lifted his head in surprise. “We’re literally doing a podcast. Who are you texting?” “Probably Y/n.” Nate guessed as the whole table started to laugh except for Chris. “No, I’m not.” He denied as he covered his face with his hands. “You totally were.” Matt argued. “Okay, fine, I was. It was about something important though so let’s drop it and get back to what we were talking about.” Chris shut the conversation down and placed his phone on the counter face up.
“Alright. Matt, what were you saying?” Nick turned to Matt. The topic was dropped but every once in a while Chris would look at his phone. The group must’ve been really into the podcast as no one noticed your car pull up, or the door opening and you walking in. You had placed the cases of Pepsi and Doctor Pepper on their counter before opening the Pepsi case, grabbing one, and heading upstairs. Nate was in the middle of talking about hockey when they heard your footsteps. Everyone swivelled their heads to see you walking into the room with a can of Pepsi. “Oh. My. God. Chris.” Nick gasped as he saw you. “Hi,” you waved, “sorry to interrupt.” “It’s no problem babe.” Chris responded, grabbing your body as you got close and put you in his lap.
“Did you call her all the way over here to bring you Pepsi?” Matt asked, clearly shocked. Chris blushed out of embarrassment in response. “You think he wouldn’t?” Nate butted in making everyone laugh. “I also got Doctor Pepper,” you shrugged, “I was also getting off work.” Your boyfriend pointed to you. “Like I said, it was important.” Nate was laughing as his best friends stared at their bother in shock. “Alright, I’m going to head out. The cases are downstairs. Anyone want one?” You asked, getting up off of Chris. There was a chorus of ‘no thank you’s’ from around the table. “Thank you.” Chris smiled at you as he grabbed your hand and kissed it. “Yeah, yeah. Have fun!” You waved as you headed downstairs.
The first time you had really been “revealed” to the fan base was on a livestream . . . And it was by accident. This clip was shorter than the rest, but it was probably the most popular if you had to guess. You had been dating Chris for awhile and this live was around the time when they started to get attention and more followers on their social media. It was back in their house in Boston. Nick had started a livestream for whatever reason and Matt had joined it after a couple minutes. You and Chris were watching a movie in his room so you didn’t participate ━━ and the fact that people didn’t even know about you. You didn’t even know it was happening, the boys didn’t text and warn you guys, so when you went downstairs with Chris to get some popcorn and drinks, both of your figures were shown in the background.
Nick and Matt didn’t even notice you guys until you appeared in front of them and were in the middle of opening the fridge. They looked to the chat to see if they saw you . . . And they definitely did. Not enough to identify you because all of the comments were asking who you were, but still enough to let people know Chris had a girlfriend. The two boys looked at each other before muting the live. It stayed on for a minute or two before they had ended it with a quick ‘goodbye’. Next thing you knew, #chrissturniologirlfriend was trending on your twitter with pictures of you and Chris from the live plastered over the tweets. That’s what led to the soft launch Instagram post and your presence being known, as well as you making your Instagram private for awhile.
A certain clip had you smiling and blushing like a little kid, remembering it happening and the whole trip. It was when went to Vermont for their annual family holiday and Chris had asked you to come along, as well as Nick and Matt. You said yes, but we’re nervous. I mean, you were going on your first trip with his parents? They ended up loving having you there, but you were scared shitless. Nick was holding the camera showing Matt feeding some of the Alpacas with Chris in the back.
You could see the brunette go slightly out of frame before he comes back, you trailing behind. “Come on,” he said to you, “just try it.” You playfully rolled your eyes before he passed you some of the feed and you held it out. You let out a noise of surprise as the alpaca started to eat it. “Oh my god.” You whispered, looking at it before pulling away. You were clueless to the camera showing you and Chris whispering while you were holding each others hand. “Do you want to do it again?” Your boyfriend asked you. “I think I’m alright.” You laughed. “Here’s a couple change to get some more food though.” He kissed your cheek as you passed him some coins from your pocket. “You’re the best,” he said before quickly kissing you and going back to the machines.
You never knew how they get their hands on them, but so many clips of Chris and Matt playing lacrosse ended up on your for you page and feed on Instagram. You didn’t even know those were on the internet except for Mary-Lou’s socials. There were so many edits of that clip of Chris taking his helmet off and them posing for a picture with all three of them and their mom, but you had yet to see this one. It was practically the same, all four lined up while their picture was getting taken. Then Mary-Lou made a ‘come here’ movement with her hand and you appeared on camera next to Chris. You remembered that moment and being so proud, but not video taped.
You posed for a couple pictures with them, then just you and the triplets. They were also your best friends, you even came to the game with Nick and Mary-Lou. You three had gossiped while watching the game and taken so many videos. Then, the two brothers moved away and Mary-Lou moved into frame with her phone up. It was just you and Chris posing this time, and it caught you licking your finger to get some of the leftover face paint that was a little messed up off his face. Chris had made a weird face but let you do it anyway. You would’ve slapped his hand away if he even tried. You think you said something along the lines of “you’ll thank me later.”
You had watched Larray after you had seen some of his vines on a vine compilation while YouTube was just filled with those. You were so excited ━━ and jealous ━━ when the twins got noticed and met up with Larray for the first time. You were even more excited when you met him. You had watched him for years, through all his phases, so you recognized when one of his videos popped up.
“Where would you want your first date?” Chris had asked Larray. They talked about Larray’s choice of waffle house before Chris said “I want to go to Topgolf.” “You want to hit balls with your girl?” Arrington replied, looking at Chris. “Well, I didn’t have a chance to take Y/n on a first date in LA, and we’ve only went with Matt and Nick, so I’d want to go to TopGolf with just her,” Chris explained, “our first date back in Boston was at some mini golf place. I’d like to take her to remind her of our first one . . . And because we both like TopGolf.” “That was so cute.”Larray chimed in, covering his mouth with his hand. “It’s one of the only times.” Matt joked which earned a slap from his brother. “That’s so not true.” He argued. “Either way, it’s well deserved. She’s amazing.” Larray praised you.
You remembered watching this with Chris when it came out and literally standing up in shock, hitting him when you got up. “You got more excited over Larray complementing you than me being cute and talking about us?” Chris asked in shock. “You think I wouldn’t?” He nodded at that. “Still upset, but that is true.”
The last clip was one of you and Chris like the rest . . . But also Nick and Matt. Nick had had a cold the last time you saw him, Matt, and Chris. He didn’t think it was anything but a cold, but it turned out it was COVID. Chris let you know as soon as they figured it out, and then Matt tested positive. You felt bad because they were stuck in the house for at least a week . . . And they’re not the best at cooking food for themselves, all they did was just order in or go out if you didn’t bring over some food or cook when you’re over there.
Since you weren’t over there, you figured you would go over and drop off some pre-made food and some other drinks and necessities like medicine, toilet paper, masks, tests, etc. You had had the weekend off so you had time to go over and help them. You didn’t know they were vlogging so you were surprised when you knocked on Chris’s door with a mask and a bowl of soup and he greeted you with a camera in your face. “Y/n? What are you doing here?” He asked you, tilting the camera down a bit. “I felt bad because you guys - no offence - eat like shit and thought you would want some homemade food.” You laughed, giving him the bowl as he put the camera down.
“Thanks. I miss your cooking and you over here. It’s so fucking boring.” He told you. “I’m sure you’ll survive. On the kitchen counter there’s some medicine, masks, tests, and some other stuff that you might run out of. If you need anything else.” He nodded. “I wish I could hug and kiss you but I’m sick and don’t want to get you sick.” “How am I going to survive?” You teased, smiling at him from under the mask. “I don’t know. Well, anyway, go save Nick and Matt too. I’m sure they’ll appreciate you.” Your boyfriend smiled at you as he waved and closed the door.
It was almost the exact same situation with Matt and Nick. Door opening with a camera in your face and surprise written in theirs. You had given them your soup and the same rundown you gave Chris. They said their ‘thank you’s’ and Nick promised to give you a hug. This was all caught on camera and added into the vlog, with an edit from Nick saying “you saved our lives.”
