let me debunk this clip piece by piece. 1. you literally just said that SVTFOE is inspired by Sailor Moon, the anime that really popularized and cemented the magical girl genre for the public. although it wasn't the first one, it's the one everyone immediately associate whenever "magical girl" it's mentioned. to say that SVTOFE is inspired by Sailor Moon it's already saying that it has magical girl elements and many conventions of that genre baked into it. that's what it means. even the less knowlegeable people in anime will know what Sailor Moon is and if you tell them "this is inspired by Sailor Moon", they would know what it means. the fact that you insist that needs more "qualifying" and go on this completely incoherent rant talks more about your own ignorance than anything. "this show about a magical princess that comes from another dimension to earth in order to fight bad guys was inspired by this other show about another princess from another world that comes to earth to fight bad guys" is not a confusing statement at all, so i'm confused as to what you thought was necessary to "qualify" here? LO, when people say that your video are becoming worse because you lack structure and keep pulling words that don't end up connecting to any central idea, this clip is an example of what people mean. this whole rant was entirely unnecesary and it didn't help your point come across. any editor would have told you to either remove it entirely or worded it a lot different. by your response i can see that you think you were doing something there. i promise that you didn't.

LO, Japan is not embarassed by anime. i actually don't know from where you took that one. otakus were seen as embarassing because they were our equivalent of the incel stereotype that doesn't interact with people and lives indoors all day, but even that's changing. anime by itself was always part of the cultural expression of the country. they treat Evangelion like here in the west we treat Mickey Mouse, they plaster the images of those characters everywhere in the most populated areas. similar to how you have the "baby sister" you decided to romance in baldur's gate all over your tumblr, while trying to insist you don't have incestuous attraction to your younger sibling. but at least they don't do it to flaunt their incestuous attraction. you keep projecting this image of Japan being embarassed and annoyed by the existence of anime without any evidence or even an attempt to explain how that makes any sense. the anime industry is huge, it's one of the cultural products that Japan more profits with because they can export it to the rest of the world and the rest of the world wants more of it. in what planet does it make sense that they would be "embarassed" by something like that? 3. do you want to know why nobody ever says that something was inspired by hello kitty or hamtaro, LO? that's because Hello Kitty doesn't have an actual story. it's an cutesy aesthetic around a bunch of cute characters that a company made in order to sell cute merchandize. there was to my knowledge only one show made with Hello Kitty, but i believe none of that had anything to do with the official canon of the character. if you think about it, Hello Kitty is kinda like Barbie. it's a recognizable icon completely by itself. there can be stories made with it, but Hello Kitty will never go through a character development moment and will never change. she will always be just a cute kitty, just like Barbie can be whatever is the most convenient for Mattell in any given moment. as to Hamtaron, it was just a slice of life anime about cute animals. it was cute, indeed. but it didn't do anything new that thousands of other people weren't doing after or before with their own spins on it. here, a list of anime/manga that were exactly the same as Hamtaro without being directly inspired by it because nobody really invented the "slice of life story through the perspective of a pet" genre. it took me one google search to find, there's more if you want to see. if you're so desperate for more content "like Hamtaro" it was always that easy to find. ... more so, again, what does this have to do with SVTFOE or literally any other show that isn't about cute animals being cute? about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and nobody ever was inspired by it in the west... you have to be joking with that one.

4. the two things i circled in red are not even anime. they're games. the one with two girls hugging and looking up with fear is Rape Lay, a infamous game about raping underaged girls and their mother until you get them pregnant and they either kill you or you force them to have babies. the other one is Doki Doki Majo Shipan, a game whose main objective is that you have to undress and touch the bodies of different characters in order to find a "witch mark". many of those characters are underaged, but a few are adults and you play as a highscholer so it's still not better.

i just want to ask the following. why did you bring two games, two infamous games about touching or raping underaged bodies for that matter, when talking about SVTFOE at all? just why? what was the thought process here? how does this make your point any more clearer? how it does examplify better that "anime inspired" is bad when you don't even show anime and is instead games? anyone should seriously question why you brought this games up at all when talking about a show that was made by Disney. a show about a underaged magical princess of another world. why did your mind ever went to those games when talking about this? you just exposed, with no warning mind you, a bunch of your audience to these games to discover by themselves. you did that. and that was bad and you should feel bad about it.

Some magical animal buddies for a concept story I was playing around with! Each of the main characters has a theme color and animal; pink/rabbit, black/bat, red/red panda (there are more that go through the whole rainbow, plus a few more like teal, gold, etc). Every guardian animal is named either after a fruit or a flower. Cherry Bunny is the companion for the pink magical hero (and an homage to two of the magical girls from my childhood; Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura). Blackberry Bat is the companion for the magical hero with black as the color scheme (and has accents of pale purple, with a little pink/yellow, like actual blackberries turn as they ripen). Rose Panda is the companion for the red themed magical hero (it was difficult but satisfying to figure out how to make the rose pattern work). These would be their "powered-up" forms, with full details. When they're just relaxing with the heroes during calm moments, they are more simplified~

There once was a team of colorful magical girls who protected the world from evil... as the years went by, it seemed that they had finally won, and could retire in peaceful times. However, a dangerous enemy attacked once more, and although the magical girl defeated it, they lost their lives in the process. A lot of buildings were destroyed during the event, with civilians being harmed as well. Many people had to move away from the area...

20 years later, the city has been re-built, and a memorial park is being built in honor of the magical girls who gave their lives to save the world. A group of boys who all lost their mothers in the event are returning for the first time; they once were friends and played together, but have lost touch and grown apart as the years went by (all having their own troubles in adult life, and still with mixed feelings over what happened). As they try to talk and reconnect, the same evil enemy from before begins to gather power and return! The boys are all at the memorial site when they get attacked, and find themselves drawn to mysterious objects hidden in the dirt; these turn out the be the magical items used by the heroic girls, which glow when the boys touch them! They discover they can all transform into "magical dudes"... because their MOTHERS were the magical girls!

They slowly learn to use their new powers and try to find their own roles as guardians against the evil enemies. At first, their outfits all match what the original magical girls wore, which is a bit... awkward. However, as they become more comfortable and confident, the outfits are up-dated to better match their own styles (and some of the dudes realize they kind of like the ribbons and frills).

The flowers/fruit/animals/colors are all part of the aesthetic for each dude, but it also relates to what their powers can do. The red hero creates various weapons from red energy that takes the form of roses, etc. They can all use different methods of attack, defense, and healing. Many of them also have elemental powers part of their theme (fire, electricity, water, and so on).

Hi, I love your magical girl oc and her lore/story so far! Do you take inspiration from Sailor Moon? cuz y'know moon theme, reincarnations, pink haired magical girl from the future relating to the protagonist appears in the present, and the Glorious Nocturne form also reminds me a lot of Princess Serenity. I was just curious if you did that on purpose or if I'm just seeing things cuz Sailor Moon is rotting my brain ^^;

Yes actually, a lot of my creative project around Lettie is Sailor Moon inspired! Ofc I have a whole collage of inspirations for this story but Sailor Moon has always been a big special interest of mine and a large part of my personal identity as a queer fem autistic person.

My story is more cosmic horror and dark fantasy centric, putting emphasis on the fear of the unknown especially how it relates to space and demons. There’s something about SM’s whimsical form of storytelling even when dealing with darker territory that’s always inspired me. So my goal was to push it further and flip the themes and aesthetics on its head, even giving it a more mature theme in relation to being a young adult navigating the world for the first time!

Instead of the holy light of the moon that guides the path of love and justice, it’s the sheltering darkness of the new moon that brings a new beginning of love and joy. That in which is unknown *becomes* known through the power of love and understanding.

I printed everything at the fancy library in my hometown or at FedEx! Everything is from Tumblr, Pinterest, or TikTok and I spent a lot of time curating and saving different photos and stuff over a period of years that were both Bandom related and just fit the aesthetic I like

Other things are different memorabilia I’ve been saving for years, like a tag from Forever 21s Romeo and Juliet line is one of my favorite pieces in it, and there’s some old wrapping paper with roses my mom bought in the 90s before I was born, and there’s a semi-nude sketch my friend did of her body for art class in college, and there’s a ticket from one of those fortune machines, photo strips of me and my friends, postcards, polaroids, just stuff like that

A lot of those are also coloring pages I colored myself with glitter pens. The collage above my bed is butcher paper that I taped everything to before I moved in and the one above my desk has just slowly grown over the last year and a half. There’s also tapestries and a fairy calendar and stuff. The stars are holographic silver paper I used star-shaped hole punches my mom had to make and then taped it to the ceiling.

It’s been a lot of years of kind of intensive work at times. and I would say a decent amount of money went into the printing, but it ranges from $0.15-$1.25 a page and has been done over years so nothing crazy lol

I love my room a lot, I was not really allowed to decorate my room as a kid and it was a big point of contention between me and my mom. At risk of trauma dumping (sorry) at one point in my teens I did watercolor paintings inspired by shit like Doctor Who and Supernatural and put them on my closet door and she actually tore them up and threw them out because they were “ruining the walls.” It was part of what led up to me getting taken to the hospital in a cop car a la Pete Wentz. clover was born in the late june heat in austin, texas in the year 1998. her mother, an emergency room nurse and her father, an emt met while working and it was (according to them) love at first sight. their love for each other was certainly not lost on their only daughter, clover, and she grew up being doted on. while they didn't have much in terms of material items, and while her parents were a little strict, they always had love for each other.

as a child clover exceeded expectations when it came to her studies, excelling especially in english and art, all the way through high school, where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. along the way she really fell in love with pottery and ceramics, and longed to do it for a living, but her strict parents were not fond of the idea and she attended the local community college to become an emergency room nurse, like her mother, while secretly taking as many art courses as she possibly could.

almost directly after clover graduated and moved out on her own, her mother was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. she passed six months later. clover moved from her small apartment back into her childhood home to be with her father in the most difficult time in their lives.

about three months ago clover's father convinced her that it was okay for her to leave home again so she found an apartment in the art district, much to the chagrin of her father, and continued working as an e.r. nurse... but after her mothers passing she realized life is too short to not do what you want to do. since then she's been making as much pottery as she can while still working her day job, and she's been selling her pieces online and making quite a bit of money (some examples of her ceramics are here, here and here).

Yui is so in love with that girl she can't even hide it, it's like her pupils become heart shaped when she sees Yuutsu.

Yui would try everything to help her girlfriend out with her social anxiety problems and make her prioritize her own mental health. Yui would try hard to make

Yuutsu see she's not bothering nor a burden to her, also, would totally support Yuutsu and attend pride parades with her.

Yui finds it sad how Yuutsu is so self-conscious about her own body and feels bad about having a small chest, so Yui always tries to make Yuutsu see the good side of having small chest and how cute she looks with it!

She finds it incredible how intelligent Yuutsu is, always prizing her about it and asking for help/advice because she knows Yuutsu is the best giving it.

Yuutsu and Yui would try and do so many hairstyles on each other and it's such a cute moment between the two of them. I can totally see Yui brushing Yuutsu's long hair every night before they go to sleep.

Sometimes, she'll feel kinda nervous when around Yuutsu and doesn't know how to act, just a silly smile from Yuutsu is enough to leave the poor girl flustered.

When walking together, people would find their relationship cute because of their aesthetics that look like they complete each other + both of the girls are so pretty and sweet together it's almost impossible to not like them.

When Yuutsu is scarred/has nightmares and go to hide in her closet, Yui follows her, does her maximum to comfort Yuutsu and make her feel safe again, reassuring that she's there for Yuutsu and that she can count on her for anything.

Even tho I think Yui prefers dogs over cats, I do think she loves cats and that she would treat Snowball and Cinnamon as if they were her own pets and with the utmost love and care.

Yui is Yuutsu's fan number 1 and comments on all of her videos at least three times, like I said before, she supports her girlfriend in everything! Yui will even learn how to paint and decorate nails, just to make her girlfriend happy.

Sometimes uses Yuutsu's sewing machine when she can't find her stitching bag, and even tho Yui isn't skilled as Yuutsu when it comes to sewing, she tries to make some handmade gifts for Yuutsu.

Would frequently visit the maid coffee shop Yuutsu's work on, she'll be okay if it isn't Yuutsu who will serve her, but she gets so happy and puts such a large smile when Yuutsu is the one serving her.

BLACK: what face claim from an anime, comic book, or cartoon do I associate with you?

Honestly, as with a lot of my followers, I really do associate you with your pfp! I don’t know who they are, but putting them aside and really thinking about it, I guess the closest I come to a face claim that I picture as you would have to be Haruka Tenoh from Sailor Moon! I feel like you have a very androgynous look, plus they give off the same sort of elegant vibe, the smile, and the colouring I imagine for you in my head, if that makes any sense.

WHITE: what flame type and box weapon do I think you’d have in the khr!verse?

So, I don’t know which of the personalized prompts will come out first, just due to the fact that I do shuffle the queue every time I add a new post to it, so not even I know when anything is coming out. Due to that, I will say that, as you’ll see in the other personalized prompt I did for you, I strongly headcanon you as a Lightning Flame type with secondary, weaker Rain Flames. As for a box weapon, I do strongly imagine a Lightning Bear box as your box weapon of choice, particularly a black bear. Going just with the symbolic meaning of bears as spirit animals, they tend to represent strength, protective power, courage, motherly love and care, healing and protection, an affinity for solitude and well developed powers of introspection and a strong grounding influence and I don’t know how to explain why, but a lot of those really do feel the vibe I get from you!

Oh, this one was hard because there were so many thoughts! In the end, I do think it would be a crossover AU of some sorts, where the characters from a fandom are set into another more fantastical or supernaturally themed world, and I do think there’d have to be a real grittiness and heaviness to the story contrasted by sparkling light hearted and cute moments that make you laugh and smile. Those light moments to me really reflect who you are to talk to, how accepting and fun and interesting you are, but the heaviness and dark themes give great nods as to how you’re never afraid to really tackle the serious topics with the respect they’re due.

RAINBOW: if i were to write a khr sequel, following Tsuna’s demise, and could only use my reader’s as characters, who would you be?

I do see you as being part of the Vongola. A competent Lightning Flame user, you’re not only a good strategist but part of the information network of the Vongola, a sort of master of disguise who uses their well-honed acting skills to become different people as situations call for it, doing the fieldwork as a spy and gathering important intelligence for the family.

I have lurked LONG ENOUGH

And this hole in the ground is not exactly high living, so hi, sorry, all that. I started Stampede right after episode 12 aired, because, ah, I had actually forgotten about it -- I was never really a fan of the 98 show (I was in another, even-weirder-in-retrospect fandom space when 98 was new, but I watched it maybe three or four years later). I read bits and pieces of the manga and agreed that it seemed right up my alley on literal paper. So why didn't I like 98? Embarrassingly, I think it's a matter of genre. I am avidly attracted to science fiction and neutral toward/bored by Westerns. Trigun is either SF cleverly disguised as a Western, or it's a Western cleverly decorated with SF elements, depending on your perspective. It was clearly good, but it could just never hold my attention.

I was immediately interested in seeing Stampede when it was first announced, though. Not because I thought there were going to be any big changes, but because the animation fascinated me. How are they doing that?? I asked. Are they capturing this with the Unreal engine?? (yes, they were. kind of. that's actually become pretty common in TV shows; I don't know why I thought that would be crazy for an anime.)

Stampede, at least compared to 98, is SF with Western aesthetics. It leans toward hard SF at times, even. Which is certainly good news for me, but I wonder if it hasn't lost an important part of itself in that. Just because I don't personally like Westerns doesn't mean that it wasn't thematically significant that Trigun was a Western. This is only one of many things I felt guilty for liking more in Stampede. I could write a whole list, though now I've finally caved and made a side blog where I can actually discuss all this. It caught up to me twenty years late, but the hyperfixation finally found me. I feel like I've triggered a curse someone put on me in high school and forgot about because the only anime I watched in high school was good ol' Sailor Moon. Ha ha, hypothetical sucker! ...wait

Anyway, watch this space for a lot of rambling about that jeep. Forget Knives, that car is the most powerful being on the planet.

Sailor Moon - Episode 1

So, my first anime I shall review is Sailor Moon! My friend recently reviewed it as they finished their watch of the first series and it has convinved me to watch the show. Yes I spoilt the entire series for myself by reading the review and oof... big reveals.

I will also likely update every ten episodes or so, or when I finsih a show.

So, as a courtesy, from here on out is spoilers.

So, as a first episode, I would say it is a 7, as I really like the characters and I think the premise is exceptionally cute!

I love that Usagi actually feels like a teenager going through life rather than these ridiculous sexualised fantasies that anime has become nowadays. It's one of my biggest icks in anime nowadays. Let kids be kids ffs! Thankfully the manga artist and writer is based and actually knows how to write women and girls. Truly refreshing (⸝⸝⸝• ω •⸝⸝⸝) ♡

Anyway, yeah, I feel like Usagi is my spirit animal at the moment, crying at the slightest inconvenience and always wanting to sleep. Oh and yeah, she has a cat who is Luna who is BASED and I really like the design.

I actually love the classic 90s anime vibe that Akira created the most, and I think it's truly shown off the power of old anime. I miss the old aesthetic. Tbf, apart from Ghibli, I grew up on crunchy anime VHS tapes my dad got me, and most of them were in Spanish (lol) so this is extremely nostalgic to little me.

ANYWAY - Enough tangents - Usagi, adorable. I have a feeling the crying might be a bit annoying, however I can fully relate to every time she cried in the first episode, especially when she got kicked out for having a low grade (╥﹏╥) that truly is the worst... When her crying saved the day though, I just found that funny.

I'm not sure what to think of Naru thus far, but she seems cool. Tough luck her mother turning out to be a super villain though...

I DO NOT LIKE UMINO HE IS A SNITCH AND A RAT AND HE DESERVES TO FAIL AN EXAM!!! But also, bruh wtf why you tell her mother???

Usagi's mother (don't remember her name) is currently my favourite character. She is hilarious and reminds me of my own mother. I cannot wait to see more of her. Also yes, my favourite characters ten to be the moms and the goth mommys. What can I say, I have taste.

Usagi's brother? (Also don't know his name) I have no opinion on. He's a bit annoying.

Masked guy with rose? Idk his deal but I'm not sure I like him. Usagi immediately started falling for him so I don't know if I can like him. I don't usually like love interests.

VILLAIN OF THE WEEK -

loved her! who doesn't love a woman selling jewellery for the sole purpose of stealing the souls of humans to turn them into slaves for an ominous alien cult leader? I would've bought something!

Where the Demon Lurks (Supernatural Action Visual Novel)

So I've talked a lot about visual novels. As you may be able to tell, there's been a recent trend of thematically and emotionally intense furry visual novels in unconventional genres like horror, sci-fi, and fantasy (Well I haven't talked about any fantasy ones yet, but they are out there). And this bucks against the previous trend of most furry visual novels being slice of life dating sims. That isn't to say they're automatically bad, but they're typically not that enticing beyond aesthetics. Where the Demon Lurks doesn't fit either trend.

This game is much more in line with shonen anime and light novels. It takes a lot from the Devil is a Part Timer and borrows plenty from Mob Psycho 100, Naruto, Blue Exorcist, Black Butler, Sailor Moon, and even more unusual influences like Saiki K. It's not really common for even non-furry visual novels to stylistically be like this (at least for the ones that become popular in the West or are made by Western writers).  It's very unique in that way.

But what is it about? Well you play as Kobu, the son of the last demon king who's inheriting his father's position after he died. Kobu, however, really hates this job. He at first tries to implement his own ideas, which constantly fail, because his assistant Vendrake flat out refuses to assist in implementing any of them because he is only really concerned with getting Kobu to basically do what his father did. Eventually, after years of this, he suspends Vendrake and contemplates quitting himself. Before he can make the decision though, Vendrake carries out a coup and drains Kobu of most of his magic, leaving him with only enough to open up one last portal to the mortal realm and put on his mortal disguise. There he builds a new life as a convenience store clerk along with his manager/new best friend, King. However, after a few years, Vendrake tracks him down and sends an assassin after him. In the scuffle though, King manages to get shot with the killing blow. Since harming mortals is EXTREMELY not allowed, the assassin is automatically returned to hell before he can finish off Kobu. King is fortunately still alive, but he's also transported to hell where the protocol is simply to immediately wipe his memory of hell and return him. Vendrake however exploits a loophole to hold him hostage so Kobu can come down to try to save him. He's going to need some help though. Fortunately, in the past few days, he's met some guys who might be able to figure out how to return him. There's Morris, the exorcist, Lucien, an angel sent by God to help Kobu take the throne back, and Toast, a very dumb ghost who somehow escaped hell.

Now there's a lot to love about this game. For one, it's pretty fun in the way a good shonen often can be and while it's not devoid of drama or emotion, it's certainly refreshing to see a furry VN that's funny and quirky more often than emotionally intense. There's also this amateurish charm to it. It's something I've always loved about Echo, but Where the Demon Lurks has a unique form of that charm. There's a sense that the developer, Bokedaidu, really loves what they're doing and are more concerned with making a fun story than making a very tightly written masterpiece. It's not trying to be the next Echo, Adastra, or Remember the Flowers. It's just trying to be entertaining. I can really admire that, especially as it fills a niche that most might not even notice was missing.

I would say if you don't want something as intense as the new crop of dramatic furry visual novels, but still want a story with higher stakes than "will the cute boy I like accept my love confession at the local festival?", then Where the Demon Lurks is perfect for you. However, if you do just want a slice-of-life smutty school romance, but with characters you can be sure are unique and likable enough that they could carry a higher stakes story if given the chance, then the spinoff, Kibbleton University, might be better for you. I will warn you that neither is very close to completion. Each route has barely even started and updates are pretty rare. Still, if you want a furry VN that stands out, Where the Demon Lurks might be for you. Until next time, keep on yiffing.

Using Fashion To Make Fiction Closer To Reality

Just straight up throwing my Fashion MFA thesis plans to the void so I can edit them or look back at them later for when I work on it

I have always had a lot a love of art and storytelling growing up. And something I love about animation, which I focused my BA on, is how it brings all sorts of stories to life with the different mediums it involves. Visual art, music, and storytelling are so important that without them the emotion and tone that are integral to a project’s voice is gone. In my projects, I particularly like to focus on character design. What helps to express a character? Being able to show off their personality and demeanor with their design to let viewers know who they’re dealing with in a story, or at least how they are supposed to understand them at first glance.

And for all the fiction that they are, people love emulating their favorite characters in media as we’ve recently seen with the rise of cartoon-inspired fashion and cosplay. From the accessories that characters wear, to their outfits. Demon Slayer’s earrings. Sailor Moon’s celestial-based Jewelry and pastel 90s fashion that is famous for its soft, cute, and cozy aesthetic. The return in popularity of Winx Club for its turn of the century “Y2K” fashion that features bright colorful modern outfits in a world that is a mix of both fantasy and sci-fi.  Disney fans who are particularly known for their love of “Disney-bounding” due to the restrictions the Disney parks have on costume wearing. The practice of media-inspired wear has become a phenomenon. These outfits bring comfort to these previous viewers that come back around to turn television into a source for their inspiration and style. I certainly have found such while I was growing up cosplaying with friends and trying my best to make my clothes look like those of my favorite characters.

And although it may come off that only Fashion inspires what brings back the popularity of certain media, I also believe that the way these shows have brought attention to certain fashion trends of their time allow them to become immortalized in a way that sets them apart. And the fondness for that allows them to come back to life due to the nostalgia they bring their audience that has grown with their favorite series or movies.

So what I would like to focus on in the fashion design master’s program with this knowledge is; how do you achieve a set of outfits that become cohesive enough to help reflect the tone of the story they take place in while also reflecting each character separately to show their personality and journey through their clothing? And finally, with that research done, I would like to expand on my own work in animation and comics by focusing on designs and fabric that help to leave the wearer and the viewer understanding these characters through their outfits. I would love for my thesis to include a mix of these two mediums with my own animated fashion on these characters transitioning into real clothing to tell their stories together in a way that makes fantasy and fiction feel closer to reality.

3 ships of all time:

I have so many ships, but I guess the ones that have been most significant and long lasting to me have been...

Zuko/Katara: I remember when Zuko became my favorite character alongside Katara, and I found fan art of them paired together. I thought it was such a great ship that I started liking it more than Kataang, and now that I am older and understand the nuances of it more, I am even more of a fan of them

Usagi/Rei (Sailor Moon/Sailor Mars): Now I have on occasion found the two of them to be pretty annoying, and my first actual ship in Sailor Moon was Makoto/Ami, or Sailor Jupiter/Sailor Mercury. However, after a while there was just something very compelling about Usagi/Rei and the drama of it, how they are at each other's throats like a married couple but still deeply care about each other. Also, Tuxedo Mask never did anything for me as a character, and while I like Seiya, I will always think the true one for Usagi is Rei.

Ed/Stede: My god this one was pretty groundbreaking. My one friend asked our friend group one day in the middle of finals week to watch ofmd with her, calling it the gay pirate show. I thought that she called it that because pirates are often pretty fruity, and I thought it was just going to have a gay aesthetic. Like many others, I thought once Lucius got his kiss from Black Pete and Jim was out as nonbinary that would be it. I had never seen some of the famous queerbait media, but I had been friends with people who had, so I was not expecting Ed/Stede to become canon even though I shipped it. When they kissed I screamed and after I finished the show I went straight to reading fanfiction. Never has a ship caused my mind to be as overtaken as it was from Ed/Stede becoming canon. So yeah, probably one of the most significant ships I've ever shipped

First Ever Ship:

Gonna be honest, it is probably Zutara. My first ships were either Zutara or Torklenz (Peter Tork/Micky Dolenz of the Monkees), but given that I was into ATLA before The Monkees it is probably Zutara.

Last Song:

Given that it was the last song I played in Project Sekai, probably Becoming Potatoes by Neru (the vocaloid version, of course. I am a vocaloid fan first and a project sekai fan second)

Last Film:

I can't remember, but it might have been Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter? I did not finish it because it was a family event to watch this so bad it's good movie, and we have to all finish it together.
