Melissa got a new neighbor so she like a good neighbor she goes to introduce herself to him. They talked and talked, but she had to get home to take care of her triplets, reminding her of her situation. Finn Lockwood (made by haleyskizzles) noticed that change in mood and asked if she was okay. She broke down and told him everything that has happened, so he tried his best to cheer her up and even offered to help.

This headcanon is getting way out of hand, however:
Walter, Dalter and Malter aren't triplets after all. Look at their clothes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Walter is the older brother (hence the grey hair) of the twins who in true twin trope fashion wear the exact same outfit and can only be identified by their different hairstyles!

DuckTales: Smart, Tough, Sharp and...?
Tumblr media
Yes, I know that when DuckTales '17 was planned, Webby (April McDuck) Vanderquack was planned to be the 'fair and square' out of Scrooge McDuck...but now that her identity as a clone and her sisters are out there, what does this make them?
Alternatively, what I believe had a fourth season been planned, while the male triplets have Scrooge's famous qualities (smart, tough and sharp), the female triplets could have different and/or more extreme angles on said qualities:
While Huey has Scrooge's intellect, Webby has his curiosity, which has been known to lead him into dangerous situations.
While Dewey has Scrooge's bravery, May has his seriousness, which has been known to shape the adventure capitalist into a miser.
While Louie has Scrooge's sharpness, June has his ability to manipulate, which has been known to stifle his relationships, for example, the Ghost of Christmas Past.
What does this mean? I don't know, but it makes sense why you see Huey with Webby a lot. Perhaps in S4 we could have gotten Dewey/May and Louie/June Episodes...and even one where they must work together to balance their flaws!

A plot bunny; just imagine if S4 had all possible time travelling versions of Five converged and existing at once? I mean they could, we have very loosey goosey rules on time travel, just think of all the Fives from dif timelines coexisting: (Assuming they somehow don't have the same level of paradox psychosis)
Baby Five: Actually 13, has been there just a few days when they the siblings arrive in S4. Sees his doppelgängers and freaks out. None of the other Fives know what to do with him and it took them embarrassingly long to notice he was there, he is appalled at all of them of course and keeps running away to try and get home.
Our Old-Young Five: As arrived with his siblings, his super competent ass finds all the other Fives in record time and has and absolute aneurysm about their being here. Tries to contain them, everything is an unmitigated nightmare. (He will eventually just give up and try to drink the insanity away after a few months, by which point the siblings have finally noticed there's way too many Fives about the place)
Thirteen going on Sixty Five (as arrived in S1): has been there since last week of March. If the first Five to time travel back and get stuck at thirteen was confused, this one is pretty sure time travel actually broke his mind. Where's the meri tech building? What about the apocalypse? Why didn't it happen? How come the other Five he landed next to has an adult body and he's stuck like this? He spends most of the time trying to rally the siblings (they struggle to know which Five they're dealing with - if they even know there are multiples at first) or find Delores.
Fifty year old Five: They one who time travelled with the correct equation, has been there since last week of March, arriving alongside Thirteen going on Sixty Five. He is smug, being the only adult. He is also trying to solve the apocalypse, being the only sane one clearly. He is also in so much back pain these pubescent clones need to slow down. He is also having to escort his other selves anywhere where a parent would be needed. He's pretty sure Our Five is plotting against him, or all of them. Wishes he'd never met any of them.
Aged Tube Five: Has been there in his paradox room barely surviving since the fifties with some life-extending assistance. Our Five unearths and kidnaps him, keeping him hidden away in the basement / attic / spare room has absolutely not told the other Fives about him, and periodically goes down there to snipe and shout at Tube Five. Tube Five just wants to die in peace.
I think that each of the Fives' stories playing out in different genres that keep awkwardly intermingling as they all coexist in the same house would be hilarious.
There has to be at least one scene where the 3 thirteen year old fives pretend to be triplets and sixty year old five alternatively gets forced to deter CPS or tries to find ways to get them all sent to juvenile detention centres.

Only Murders in the Building S3 finale
What a delightful season! I think this one was my favourite so far.
And the second Sazz showed up at the afterparty, I knew she was going to be the S4 victim. (I'm so glad we're getting a fourth season, BTW.)
Miscellaneous thoughts:
Looking back, the monologue Loretta did for her audition was foreshadowing for the actions that both Donna and Loretta would take for their sons.
And the constable (Charles's character) gets killed in the musical, setting up the end scene.
Another bit of foreshadowing: in 3x05, Sazz says, "Are we sure that the killer was after Ben and not you, Charles? I've been getting some vibes. I also have my ham radio and there's chatter of people wishing it was you instead of Ben."
So many potential avenues for S4 already! Did the killer mistake Sazz for Charles? Or was Sazz the target (presumably someone with a rifle and scope would see that Sazz is taller than Charles, even in the dark)? Sazz says in the finale that she has something a little sensitive to talk to Charles about. And she mentioned in 3x05 that she was still seeing Jan. (I assume Amy Ryan will make an appearance in S4.) Was Sazz trying to write a J on the tiles?
Sazz was humming "Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It?" as she entered Charles's apartment.
I loved that they gave Paul Rudd a song. And I loved that they filmed a full performance of "For the Sake of a Child" with Meryl and Paul. It was great/hilarious.
And I just saw that they did a Ben version and an Oliver version of "For the Sake of a Child" -- giving the people what they want!
I loved that micro-expression on Loretta's face after she finishes "Look for the Light" as she takes in the applause. Meryl, what a genius.
I hope Detective Williams, noted theatre lover, got tickets to Death Rattle Dazzle.
The gag of Tobert pretending to be a coat rack was great (especially since I'd been wondering about his claim in the first episode that he'd be unnoticeable while filming the documentary).
Uma and Matthew Broderick in the audience! Can't wait to see how Uma reacts to yet another murder in the building, especially one that happened in Charles's place.
I loved all the trio stuff in this episode. The notecards! The sparkly costumes and Mabel's gold dress!

omg since you’re in a J/H mood… any random hcs for them you want to share?? 🥰
-currently in 2023, they're soon to be grandparents (their son Reggie and his wife Mia Forman are expecting a child)
-Jackie loves to snuggle with Hyde in bed
-Hyde pretends not to like it but he secretly loves it
-Hyde's secret nickname for Jackie is Pookie Pie
-they still live in Point Place to this day
-now that the whole gang has retired, they all meet up and hang out
-Margie, Anne-Marie, and Lizzie Kelso (Jay and Leia's triplets) visit them for company
-they'd watch lots of horror movies with Betsy and Jay
-they're know as the 'cool aunt and uncle'
-Hyde likes being the little spoon sometimes
-they had a secret friendship in s4 (i remember this hc being mentioned from someone else (@those70scomics i think))

Dawn of Redeeming Grace [4/23]
Title: Chapter Four: December 23, 2005 || FFN
Rating: NC-17/Explicit
Pairings: Meredith Grey/Derek Shepherd
Six weeks after Derek left to take the NIH job, Meredith is ready to use the holidays to prove she has this working mom thing on lock. Sure, he neglected to tell her he'd be bringing a guest, but whatever, 'Tis the season for truces. Even Ellis Grey took the day off. But with every moment of family togetherness, a return to the trenches seems more impossible. Can a few days of peace put their relationship back on track, or has she fallen for the illusion of a snow-globe, destined to either settle or shatter?
Tumblr media
Dawn of Redeeming Grace|| FFN
New York Derek. Genetically-engineered for Manhattan, maybe, but it’s not all about genetics. The show never goes into it explicitly, but I think it’s very important that Derek went to Bowdoin for college. At eighteen, he wanted out. I think he came back because of Amelia, and between Mark and Addison, found his life shaped into this Upper East Side, house in the Hamptons lifestyle that he didn’t actually like. The guy with that life isn’t even the one Addison fell for, judging by things like the Chinese food on Thanksgiving. She might’ve felt as out-of-place in the world they would’ve been in if he’d had the self-awareness, or felt allowed to make the choices that would’ve taken them toward a life more like the one her and Meredith get—but it wouldn’t have been as extreme as the trailer.
I go back and forth as to Derek’s desire to have kids, and knowing what happened with Amelia makes a lot of sense in that regard. I know people who were really responsible for their siblings and feel like they had their kids. That said, his dad is his hero, and nothing in his life looks at all like his dad’s life. Kids would change that—but he’s best friends with a guy who had well-off parents who likely had their kid for the wrong reason. He wouldn’t want to do that.
At the beginning, I think a lot of the appeal of his relationship with Meredith is the fresh start. That’s a huge part of their s3/s4 issues. This guy, who clearly adores his family, wants to leave all the past in the past. He can’t do that. After he has to necessitate Meredith, he’s sitting there with Addison and Mark at his sides—exactly like he would’ve been when Amelia OD’d. It’s not a coincidence to me that his mom showing up is part of the arc before his s5 breakdown. But his assertions about his family, about “normal” families, are also pretty rose-colored. Amelia’s arrival on the show is after he’s been offered the D.C. job, but their interactions; that he reminds her of the person he used to want to be—I think that has a lot to do with why he can’t let it go. Also, we’re not two full years out from Mark dying. It’s still one of the longest periods he’s gone through without him.
If anything feels like foreshadowing or a dark joke in this chapter, it is. This whole fic is about how the past affects you, particularly on holidays where tradition rules, this is the chapter with the most allusions to A Christmas Carol. Derek throughout the end of his time in New York is a very Scroogian figure if you ask me—I really should’ve Amed one of my Shepherd kids Fred.
For reference, here is my Shepherd family headcanon.
Kathleen + Reid (2nd husband)
Allegra (’87 stepdaughter)
McKenzie (’89 stepdaughter)
Stephanie (’93)
Oliver (’99) or Lucas (’96)
Nancy + Peter
Carly (’90)
Elena (’92)
Shepherd (’94, nicknamed Squared)
Hunter (’95)
Tyson (or Lucas, ’96)
Liz + Ian
Briana (’93)
Frances, Maria, Patrick (or Lucas)* (’96)
Hannah (’00)
*I’d have to reconfigure for Lucas to be Liz’s, I think, because I don’t see him as a triplet. I think he’s Kathleen’s, since he’s Derek’s favorite and Meredith liked her kids, but if he’s not I like having the gap between her youngest wider because of how I’ve written Stevie.
