Coaster Maynia 2024 Day 1 - TOP THRILL 2

“One of the most common after effects of the anomalies, was many seemingly ordinary humans acquiring inhuman amounts of speed. Rita Ferraro was one of them of course, but found her new ability a mix of a blessing and a curse, thus deciding to join a support group for people like her. It was in this group, she met people like Enzo, a full of himself speedster who she briefly was in a relationship with, only for that to end very soured. Rita however met many others with her ability who were kind and supportive. Topher Thomson was one of them, in the support group since 2003. They were friendly, upbeat and positive, and always trying to uplift and support others who were struggling. Topher themselves was a bit clumsy much like Rita, tending to fall backwards during high speed runs and stumbling. But they never gave up, and Rita admired that. For many years Topher was a visible figure in the support group, helping others come to terms with their new abilities, making sure people were taking care of themselves and drinking and eating enough, tending to injuries of those still clumsy and running into things, and much more. But recently, they vanished for a period of time, worrying a lot in the community. Rita got word something had happened to her friend, and was desperate to run off as fast as she could to find them. But not long later, Topher returned, seeming brighter than ever, with a new sense of style and more control over their powers than before…”

Happy Coaster Maynia Season! Im so so so excited this year, I’ve gotten so much prep done ahead of time, as I want to get the lists done in time! I have a lot coming up at the end of the month anyways so I needed to be ready for it all! But yes, it’s been so fun working on the prompts this year, I’ve been doing these template backgrounds for each day, and plan to write up little blurbs to further develop each character! Also in terms of the best of list, Im prioritizing the main, but do plan to go back to the second one once the first list is done! As I plan to make the art for the best of list a bit more detailed and with backgrounds! Stay tuned for those pieces…..

Here's a drawing for this year's Christmas. We start off where the Rabbits, the Speedsters and friends got some presents from the Ramcats.

We start off with the Speedsters side.

Murukir and Popikir got some Ballet Slippers from Tory for both of them to dance together. Alongside the Speedster family.

Spot, Riya and Vanilla got plushies of Shadow, Tory and Lisa from them. I bet they'll both love to snuggle their plushies together while in bed. Cude also got a Plushie of Caleb and a Gift Card to Wingstop from Caleb and Mayu got herself a Haro Phone so that Cude and Mayu can keep in contact alongside getting connected to their Haros. Miya and Aace got armor and weapons from Porsche and Jenny. Miya got a Yoyo Ball and a stun Taser for her to protect herself with her electric moves, while Aace, has the ability to wrestle by using boxing gloves and knee caps for him to be the greatest brawler in the family.

For the Rabbits, Maxwell got an Xbox Series X from Shadow and for Maxwell to play. May got herself a Gaming Laptop from Caleb so she can play some games on her PC alongside chatting with her friends including Riya, Tory, Lisa, Shadow, Yinna, Vanilla and the kids. Sam got a Switch game from Tory and it's Super Mario RPG, looks like Sam will enjoy playing it and maybe he can invite Heffy and Zack over to play. And for Emme and Jo they got spare clothes from Lisa like her normal casual clothes that can change into different colors depending on their emotions, and got some pajamas and autumn and Winter Clothes and a device of how they can both act like Lisa together. And for Maxwell and Spot's parents, they each got some Autumn and Winter clothes from Paul and Debby and some random stuff for them. Bonn got a Digital DVD copy of Gran Turismo the Movie, Rita and Windy got iPads so they can chat and play together along with Debby. And Scottie got himself a book where he can write down his ideas on what kind of stories he likes to write about, especially when can send some to his work. And maybe Maxwell and Scottie can both write a story together like Father and son.

Hello, May! 🌏☀️ Its that day of the moms, again! 🤰👩🚺♀️ And I have this artwork, right here in a 90s style setting! 😁📼💿

• Truth be told, these three women had never met each other under the same roof, until now. 👩👩👩 In addition, they're all pregnant with their beloved children inside. 🤰 But, what are they doing while they're pregnant? 🤔Well, there are a lot of things to do while they're pregnant and I think I have the perfect activity; "Knitting". 🧶🧣😊 I was gonna say "Crochet" because my lovable mom always loves crocheting outside of our home, so yeah. When it comes to making huge lengths of the scarf (and other wearables) like what they're doing, "Knitting" is always king, or "QUEEN" because we're celebrating "Mother's Day". 😊 Rita had a little experience of knitting before she aimed at her dream career. But, with a little help from a tutorial by playing a few VHS tapes of the 90s, she can handle it like the mother she was. And she's passing her knowledge to her mommy besties. 😉🧶🧣

Rita 🐶🚺: Absolutely, tama (correct)! I used to be knitting back when I was my elementary school years. I was totally pag-ut-ot (suck) at knitting, and I given up my knitting experience to other hobbies that I've been dreaming of. Sa panahon ngayon (nowadays), with a help of VHS tapes and knitting manuals at my rightful age, I've perfected my pagniniting (knitting) skills, and I'll share my knowledge to my two kaibigang nanays (friendly mommies)! 😊 So, happy mother's day to all nanays! Tandaan (Remember): Your NANAY (MOM) will always LOVE YOU! ☝😁😘👩🤗

Yuri knows about the existence of Spirits, so he knows that the tree was more than just any tree or unusual blastia barrier - it's the home of the first naturally occurring Spirit in Terca Lumireis. But thanks to the timeline reset, Rita doesn't know that. (It's also possible that Estelle's power caused the Spirit to be born and thus Yuri mimicking that event in the new timeline caused the Spirit to be born in the new timeline. I'm still debating this.)

I'm think I know why I'm stuck on this fic, however, so I'm gonna scrap what I've got and start over. But these lines? I want to keep these lines.

Instead, Cisco was finally having the time to return to some of his pet projects. Which would have been nice, if Hartley hadn't decided that, with Harry gone, he should start showing up every day to invade Cisco's lab.

~ From a WiP intended as a more serious take on the body swap trope

I had the initial idea for this fic a while back when I wrote A Friday Flip. But I knew that a silly take on the prompt would be faster to write than a more serious view on it. This one won't be a short swap, but they'll be stuck in each other's bodies until they can track down the right meta to swap them back.

It hasn't gotten far yet; right now it's set post S2. But I might rework what I've got to set it post S4. I'm not sure if this'll be a long fic or a series of fics yet either. It's still percolating in my brain I guess.

But a few things I know for certain - Hartley already has feelings for Cisco already, which is why he's been turning up to annoy Cisco in person. Cisco does not cope well with Hartley's enhanced hearing at all. Hartley freaks out the first time he experiences one of Cisco's visions. Both of them have to exchange health information to ensure the continued good maintenance of their respective bodies.

"The timeline tends to be extra malleable around speedsters. Due to changes made by both the Reverse Flash and the Flash, your personal timeline has been altered quite drastically."

Hartley was curious as to why Rip didn't know he was with Team Flash when Rip has access to all the info about the timeline the Time Masters could fit into a ship the Waverider's size and Gideon tells him. Barry actually classified Hartley's current timeline with the original Gideon, so all Gideon type AIs created from her - which are what the Time Masters' ships have installed - have hidden his timeline from the Time Masters.

This is basically the first hints of the chess game Barry's playing with the Time Masters where he's basically making Hartley the 'queen' on his side of the board.

Coaster Maynia 2024 Day 20 - FORMULA ROSSA

“Fiorenzo Rossa was one of the handful of individuals who acquired super speed as a side effect I of the anomalies. He adjusted quite quickly, finding himself to be an inspiration to those who struggled a bit. Because of the level of control he had of his powers, he was able to run the fastest out of all the others. This further pushed him as a massive inspiration. People like Rita looked up to him greatly. He was on top of everything a great character, charismatic, kind, and motivating. Even someone like Enzo stayed on his good side. He was always motivating and never gave up on his peers, even when they got frustrated or discouraged, he was there every step of the way, even slowing down to stick by them.”

Another speedy guy! I love developing characters affected by anomalies. Im trying to come up with a name for those who can run fast…Speedsters? Is that too obvious? Feel like the support group would come up with a name for themselves! Also the reason they wear racing gear is because a lot of them also like cars/racing and compare themselves to being as fast as cars. Wonder if there is a connection…hmmm.

Here's a drawing mixed with my Gameplay of Smash Bros. Ultimate. I drew Shadow and Lisa in their Kingdom Smash attire and when Shadow has Joker on his side, we found this card that summons a Nintendog. We found this dog breed compared to the other breeds like Brawl using a Labrador Retriever, Wii U and 3DS using a French Bulldog, and Ultimate using a Toy Poodle. Spot and Rita would be surprised to see a Dog Breed like that compared to the other dog breeds they like.

To this day, Bonn and Rita are still labeled as 'Mentors' to their Speedster Kids (Spot and Riya). As for their bios, they're both old and forgotten. So, let's refresh their biography information because things change for Bonn and Rita.

Name: Bonn "The Spot" Speedster 🐰🚹 Age: 35 Gender: Male Species: Puppy-Bunny Color fur: Blue w/ dark spots Nationality: American 🇺🇸

Information: • Bonn "The Spot" Speedster is a blue-dog hybrid creature, who won numerous motorsport titles in his resume of accolades, from reigning 8-time race kart champion at the age of 12, to pro-stock car racing (3 times), to world rally championship (2 times), to F1 world champion (1 time), and even drift car championship (1 time). He's currently signed as the Le Mans Hyper Car Racer for the World Endurance Championship and has a part-time boxer career with his boxing license. Bonn is also a great athlete who always loves to shape up in the morning with his wife. He'd also been the owner of the "Bonn's Auto Customs Shop and Repair" established in 2011, the same year as Spot and Riya was born.

Other interest: Watching Anime and Cartoons (depends, especially adult-rated cartoons), loves pet bunny rabbits (all kinds of breed), playing video games, tuning/fixing automobiles, and gadgets.

Fun fact for Bonn: Bonn was idolized with the former Boxer and Philippine Senator, Manny Pacquiao (among other well-known iconic and respective Boxers, both legend and veterans). Even though, Bonn was a pure American blood, he always respect at Philippine foreigners, including his wife Rita.

Name: Rita Frias Speedster 🐶🚺 Age: 35 Gender: Female Species: Puppy-Cat Color: Light Magenta Nationality: Dual Citizen; Filipina 🇵🇭 (Philippine Citizen) and American 🇺🇸

Information: • Rita Frias Speedster is a Magenta puppy-cat hybrid who migrated to the United States as an OFW, which stands for "Overseas Filipina Worker" (For male "Filipino"). She's an Olympian sprinter who represents the Philippines at the Summer Olympics, and she takes home two silver medals, at the age of 20 & 24. At 25, she became a teacher/coach of the sprint runner before she retired at 30, and switched to a professional biker (who won 3 times at the superbike championship and won 5 times at the motocross championship on her resume) and a part-time MMA fighter. She holds two careers, to this day.

Other interest: Learning Philippine-related cultures such as language, food, and others to their foreign neighborhoods (e.g. Americans, Latin Americans, etc.), loves pet dogs (all kinds of breed), adventuring nature landscapes, riding bikes.

Fun fact for Rita: At age of 16, she used to ride motor tricycles, while on her sprint training break. The motor tricycle was inherited from her late father, and to this day, it is still operational by her numerous family members.

Prompt number #19 Fanfiction Fandom: Flash Rogues Rating: R Warnings: Death, hallucinations

Day Nineteen: “I feel strange.”

Power coursed through every cell in his body, which crackled with electricity and hummed with the song of the universe.  His skin was hot to the touch.

“I am omnipotence!  The apex of our species!” Doctor Alchemy proclaimed, arms aloft to the heavens. “Every element awaits my command, altered with but the briefest of thoughts!”

“Please, Doc,” Wally begged at his feet, the young speedster’s legs having been transformed into fragile straw.  “You can do whatever you want to me, but change my family back. My wife, my kids…my Aunt Iris and Uncle Barry!  You know them, you love them!  They’re your friends!”

Doctor Alchemy’s eyes glowed crimson, and Wally was transformed into a salt statue which quickly crumbled into a messy pile.   His atoms mixed with those of his loved ones, and the alchemist gave none of them any further thought.

“I have no friends, no ties to distract me.  Just the knowledge I have always sought, and the power to bend reality to my whims.  What good has my humanity ever done for me?”

“…Al?” a voice behind him said.

In an instant, Albert’s head whipped around to see Rita looking at him with concern.  He was seated at his desk, a scattered pile of paperwork in front of him.

“Were you daydreaming?” she asked curiously, and he looked down at his hands.  They seemed rather ordinary, with no evidence of anything noteworthy happening to him. He didn’t remember what he’d been thinking about, though he could swear he heard a familiar chuckling somewhere around him.

“Yes, I think so,” he replied after some thought.  “I must have been.”
