Spring cleaning was rough today. It was "all hands on deck," except not the deck (rotten) but rather the garage. We decluttered enough junk to fill the trash bin (not mine!) and vacuumed up over 5 gallons of dust! Carlin said it was "dustgusting!" They think they're so funny!!!

The vibe changed when Marcy found some old dog toys that had belonged to Chester. We decided to put them in a wooden box next to the mermaid statue in the living room. He used to try to play fetch with her.

We were so tired after all that cleaning that no-one had the energy to cook. Luckily the taquería down the street had a deal on 64 tacos. Beth is a Pisces, so she ordered it and the rest of us pitched in.

The tacos were so delicious, I forgot to take a lactaid. RIP me in the upstairs bathroom. D:

What do you think of Oranges? Y’know, the fruit. This is probably not Guilty Gear relevant, but maybe this can count as an enrichment question?

I love oranges but I suck at peeling them so I keep a knife on my desk specifically for starting the peel on oranges. Otherwise I rip them open with my teeth but the peel doesn't taste very good and I would rather not do that. Though, the place I get Chinese takeout from includes the orange pieces in their orange chicken and when the peel is cooked in that sauce and gets tender it's pretty good. The bitterness is toned down and with the sweet flavor of the meat of the fruit it really balances it out.

My favorite fruit of them all is bananas, but I'm a big mango, jackfruit, and durian enjoyer too (when I can find them...)

Sick, congested, hurting, have a headache, just woke up from a hard nap, hair matted, dealt with EIGHTEEN wasps today so its already a bad day- and having to figure out if its worth it to go down for the tacos my SIL made bc I love tacos so much but its been a while since I had them....but the majority of the time when I go down I come back up feeling worse than before.

no joke i think deep frying my hand has reaffirmed my positivity for being alive. i was so stressed out in the days leading up to it, and all that stress really dissipated when i had to go to the ER. i remember thinking to myself like, maybe life is okay & i like living, actually. the next morning i got prescribed gel hrt, that weekend i went to an anime convention and was surrounded by my closest friends, and now as my burnt flesh peels itself from my body to make way for new skin i am now 7 days on t

#it hurt like hell but honestly i thought it was funny even as i was actively in shock at the er #AND my roommate bought me taco time. so. yknow. lol #the pain was so fascinating to me. i know im a horror novelist and a goth or whatever but genuinely it was fascinating #i also reaffirmed that i am way way way too good at hiding pain for my own safety but luckily i live with people who love me #i remember describing the pain as if my hand were a sheet being fed through fast spinning rubber wheels on some form of mechanism #like i was being driven over or something... a simultaneous squashing and ripping feeling #ive had to keep it bandaged but i change it out every night and at every stage of the process my flesh has looked incredible #the biggest downside for me is honestly just that cleaning is difficult or inadvisable for me until it heals #bc i dont wanna get chemicals in the damaged sjij #skin* #talkin
