When Sarah was still alive, she was a nightmare of a threat to the rest of the settlers in the colony. It was a group of spellcasters with more noble intentions that defeated her and trapped her soul in her spellbook... and some of them were her own family.

When she was finally dealt with, the rest of the living Ravencroft family decried her actions and the whole town then buried the records of her life and existence with her evil spellbook in order to prevent her and her magic from being revived. Public records maintain the image that she was persecuted and tried as a witch, much like what turned out to be many innocent men and women. Most of history has forgotten who Sarah was...

But the Ravencrofts haven't.

But there are people she could have been friends with under different circumstances! She enjoys Allen's (@hermits-hovel ) company at times, and finds Luckless (@tallbluelady) interesting and perplexing.

Scooby Doo x Goosebumps

This better be some universal foreshadowing that we're getting a Scooby and Goosebumps crossover or I'll be so mad!

This week while I was in Barnes & Nobles I came across this and almost cried from joy. I'm a huge fan of Scooby- Doo and Goosebumps so this was just perfection. I know this was most likely a setup from leftover Halloween stuff, but I love it (also give the person a raise for the idea)!

Headcanon Time/ Scooby Doo x Goosebumps AU:

The Mystery INC is called by an anonymous benefactor to help find some missing people (mainly children) in a small town.

The gang jump to it since they love mysterious, but they love helping people more.

Once they arrive in the small town they begin investigating and hear strange stories around town for example: an evil dummy coming to life, a witch who grants terrible wishes, haunted mask that attach to people and turn them evil, cameras that predict omens, and so on.

At first the gang thinks it's another hoax and real estate plot, but the stories sound eerily familiar like something out of a 1980's -90's children horror book series.

The townsfolk don't trust Scooby - Doo due to his abilities to do things a normal dog can't possible do: speak human language, cook, dance, the works. This hurts Scooby and makes him start doubting himself (how dare you townspeople!).

The gang then investigate a writer who half the town think is responsible due to the kidnappings are similar to the horror novels he writes. When they meet the writer it's none other than *drumroll* R.L. Stine (who plays himself in the movie fanfic).

Mystery Inc: It's famous children's horror writer, R.L. Stine!

At first Velma is excited to meet the famous R.L.Stine, but after her encounter with Ben Ravencroft, she fears he'll be the same as Ben. Until -

R.L. Stine: So, you've met Mr. Ravencroft. How was he?

Velma: (Gloomy) I was excited to finally meet one of my favorite writers. Only to be disappointed when he turned out to be evil.

R.L. Stine: Yep! I met him before, he's a huge jerk! You should've met Stephen King aka the 'Adult horror writer of Goosebumps'.

Velma: *Perks up*

R.L. Stine reveals that he called them, and he is the cause of what is going on due to bunch of works he never finished/ can't find the ending for a current story from his old typewriter he had since he was nine, and if he can't come up with an ending soon things will get worse. The gang don't believe him and think all the rumors around town about him being the kidnapper are getting to him. The gang stays with R.L. Stine's place during the investigation and Scooby and Shaggy come across certain items from the Goosebumps, Fear Street, The Nightmare Room, and The Haunting Hour franchise. Scooby and Shaggy come across Slappy in his inactive state and unknowingly read his spell.

The next day Stine's home is trashed with a message in blood (or ketchup) reading: SLAPPY'S BACK!

Slappy (played by Jack Black or Cal Dodd) plans to possess Stein to bring a new era of horror to the world. He's been bringing all the monster/villains to life and the real world and framing Stine for the crimes.

Slappy: Hello papa, I'm back!

R.L. Stine: Slappy!

Slappy: That's right. Ooh! I see you got some friends and their dog.

Scooby: Rog rhere?

Shaggy: Check it out Scoob, the puppet really is haunted.

Daphne: Yeah, I guess we were due an evil dummy sooner or later.

Slappy: (Flabbergasted) W-what? You're not scared of me?

Fred: No offense Mr. Slappy, but we've dealt with real monsters before.

Velma: Zombies, cat-people cultist, witch's ghost, aliens, virus monsters, the list goes on and on.

Shaggy: Me and Scooby here even taught at a monster school once.

Scooby: Reah!

Slappy: Wow! I just met you people and I hate you already.

The gang and Stine recruit now adults Carly Beth, Danny Anderson, Hannah Fairchild (ghost child), and a few others to help end Slappy's reign.

There's an epic battle and the find a way to defeat Slappy and return everything to normal. R.L. Stein and the gang are cleared of all charges and are now heroes to the town!

It wouldn't be Goosebumps without a twist - Slappy survives and with his own typewriter he begins writing his own series. His first book is of the original Goosebumps series with an image of Mystery Inc. and R.L. Stine in the Mystery Machine with looks of terror on their faces.

I’m just gonna say it

There’s a difference between decades long franchises like doctor who, Star Trek and Star Wars and decades long franchises like scooby doo and the addams family. The first three are one long continuous story. The last two are many different incarnations. And because the last two are many different incarnations. NOT EVERYTHING IS UNIFORM!!!!

Velma’s interested in women in a recent movie and the hbo sacrilege? She was supposed, the keyword here is supposed, to be interested in women in a film 21 years ago and a cartoon 11 years ago? Sure. Fine. Whatever. But none of that erases her canonical attraction to Johnny Bravo, Beau Neville, Sam Winchester, Patrick Wisely, hell, even Ben Ravencroft. A couple of ideas that didn’t happen, a tv movie and a shameless soulless cash grab doesn’t magically negate nearly fifty years worth of different incarnations of a character being interested in men. It isn’t Velma’s personal journey, I think that’s the term, but feel free to correct me if it isn’t, it’s just a new incarnation of Velma with a different sexual orientation. By the same token. It doesn’t magically make any of your headcanons true. It just doesn’t

People complained that Luis Guzman isn’t as attractive as Raul Julia? So the fuck what? Raul Julia looked nothing like John Astin. Tim Curry looks nothing like Raul Julia. And do you wanna know why? Because they’re all different incarnations. In the same vein. While I loved Joel Glicker in Addams Family Values he doesn’t need to appear in the Wednesday show. The tentative love interests are Tyler and Xavier. And no. I’m not counting Enid because I’m talking canon here, not fanon. It’s two completely separate things and trying to merge the two never ends well. Canon and fanon are best when both are separate.

TL;DR: headcanon however you want. Indulge in fanon however you want. But with franchises like scooby doo and the Addams family. The least you can do is acknowledge that both franchises contain a myriad of different incarnations and trying to pretend that it’s one long continuous story just causes problems down the line. And again. Headcanons are all fine and dandy. But the moment you forget what happened in canon is the moment you need a reality check and a refresher course on the source material. Just as a reminder.

Reading Carnage: It's A Wonderful Life and you can like reverse engineer the characterization of movie!Carnage. It was clearly a big inspiration.

With no clue of the context or who those people are just seeing them wheeling out Lady Wolverine feels like a "kick the dog" moment.

4. "Magical Misery Tour"--He Said The Thing (totally read that in Woody Harrelson's voice). Also the horrific abuse is slightly different in the comics but no less horrible.

By the way the kid in his memory/dreamscape is Billy Bentine. His first/only friend as a kid, like Frances was in the movie.

So he's not illiterate as previously suggested in Maximum Carnage.

Why the discrepancy? Maybe its a retcon, maybe the writers figured it's not exactly cool to equating being uneducated with serial murder.

Or maybe in Maximum Carnage he and Shriek are mocking Eddie since comics!Eddie clearly enjoys using big words when speaking to show off his intelligence. Peter too enjoys his snarky banter so maybe they make a game of it. See how frustrated they can make the heroes by pretending not to understand what they're saying or even basic things.

Also, back to Lovecraft. In the movies Cletus constantly refers to Carnage as "the monster." This makes sense since, unless Carnage told him, he'd have no idea about what symbiotes are or where Carnage came from so the logical conclusion to being possessed by a tentacle monster might as well be "I have Cthulhu in my blood."

Heeey, first how are you honey? Then, secondly, we could have some nice things with the wonder trio: Acedia, Beck and Otto?

not exactly headcanons or a story, but here's a little concept I had awhile back that I'm certain I haven't shared yet:

The 1 time Acedia didn't go to check out one of Beck's heists to stop him, he ends up having a malfunction (sabotage?) and gets caught and sent off to Ravencroft for awhile and Acedia is like SICK with worry and guilt and regret. she's unable to see herbf him for at LEAST a year with good behavior at best.

He gets to call her once in awhile tho (with surveillance/supervision, it's limited how long he can talk tho). Reassures her and knows she can't come to visit him (and that she wouldn't be comfortable), but he def makes some promises to her once he's out again to help ease her mind.

Otto had accepted a little work in checking out the security tech they have at Ravencroft and brought Acedia along during the time Beck was serving time there. Acedia is, of course, in costume. the special little gadget in her mask that Otto made for her helping to disrupt the cams while she's present near them. This helps her to walk around a bit with Otto until they get outside.. and Acedia decides to separate for a few minutes to see if she can give Beck a little surprise visit.

She's got a few questions to ask about helping with whatever actually happened that got him caught in the first place.

A random headcanon: Kraven

:D! Once again doing all of these, though I don't have as much to say with Kraven... Sexuality Headcanon: Bisexual Gender Headcanon: Cis man A ship I have with said character: Honestly, just Kraven/Calypso, but they actually managed to be the one heterosexual relationship on SSM that I unabashedly loved. "The eyes suit you, my love" still gets me. A BROTP I have with said character: Maybe it's odd but I can really see Kraven and Mysterio being buds. I think he could bond with Otto and Adrian over love of animals, too. And I also like to think that in SSM-verse, Kraven and Chameleon aren't related and would actually get along well if they met! A NOTP I have with said character: Hmm... None really? A random headcanon: Hmm, other than he and Chameleon not being related and Gulyadkin being a maned lioness (which is more of a headcanon about Gulyadkin)... Kraven and Calypso are a bi4bi couple and have similar tastes. Kraven would be great with both baby animals and baby humans. And I have a theory that in Season 3 of SSM, John Jameson would've been broken out of Ravencroft with Otto and Electro, either accidentally or on purpose, and Kraven would have tried to help him by taking him to Miles Warren, which would accidentally have resulted in the Man-Wolf thing. (Well, accidentally on Kraven and John's part. Warren would have been doing it 1000% on purpose, obviously.) General Opinion over said character: SSM Kraven best Kraven, tbh. By which I mean he's, uh, the only version of the character I've ever really cared about. But SSM was pretty good for this in general!

Spider-Man: No Way Home spoilers

My rendition/headcanons on what the immediate aftermath of NWH looks like for those in the other universes: Andrew Garfield addition

The first thing Peter Parker does when he returns to his own universe, really, is let out a sigh of relief

He’s hit with this sense of loneliness, of course; he’s known the other two Peters for only a little while, but he suddenly misses them like hell

He hopes the kid will be okay, he’s going through something no one — especially not someone his age — should have to go through

He really hopes the older Peter doesn’t bleed out

He thinks he should check on Dr. Connors and Max. It’s probably the first thing he should do — and he will. Eventually. He just has this gut feeling, an instinct, and he knows there’s something he needs to do first

He spends a lot of time at home, experimenting and developing the serum. It’s kind of hard when the creature who caused the ailment is long dead and he’s dealing with the effects of a biologically engineered arachnid in addition to a genetic disease, but hey, he and the other Peters creates four cures in one night, what could possibly go wrong?

He doesn’t sleep much in that time, but he does take breaks

He finds Dr. Connors first, which is when he discovers that he and Max weren’t sent back to the moment in time they were pulled from by that wizard’s spell

Connors helps him track down Max, who is kind of freaking out about the whole being-in-2024 thing

but even then, he’s happier than Peter’s ever seen him

He may not have his powers anymore, but he has a confidence to him now that seems to compensate for the loss

(They’re best friends, you honour)

He visits Gwen’s grave the eve of his completed serum

He hopes she’s proud of him, for what he did in the other universe and for what he’s about to do now

As Spider-Man, he goes to Ravencroft and gets his serum authorised to be administered to Harry Osborn

As Peter Parker, he visits Harry, occasionally, to see his progress

He’s not sure if it’s a relief, cathartic, or just plain rewarding to see the sanity slip back into Harry’s eyes. It might be a bit of each

He nearly burst into tears when that damn patch of sickly dry, green scales that crawls up his friend’s neck disappears altogether

Harry still has time to serve. They’re still not okay. Harry’s still angry at the betrayal, at the secrets, and Peter’s still not sure if he can ever forgive him for what happened to Gwen.

But Harry’s not dying, he’s not fighting over control of his mind like the older Peter’s Norman Osborn was

and for the the first time in a while, Peter feels like he’s done something right in his own universe

Peter will, eventually, meet a striking tall, dark stranger who introduces himself as ‘MJ’ because he can’t stand his birth name. He’ll eventually come across an alien made of black goo who has symbiotically attached himself to disgraced journalist Eddie Brock. And he’ll eventually remember what it means to be the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. But that’s neither here nor there.

Some AU Headcanons for Carnage x Shriek

So apparently there actually are some people who want to hear these silly AU headcanons I made after watching Venom, let there be Carnage.

These are strictly for the movie versions of Carnage and Shriek, due in no small part to the massive difference between the comic and movie versions...

These are supposed to just be silly, amusing and an interesting read. I have the story pretty fleshed out but there is no way I have any time to actually write it. So these headcanons and MAYBE a little art will be the entirety of my contribution to this fandom.

Still, hope y'all enjoy them :)

So rather than directly planning on revenge on Brock, Mulligan and outright homicide for Venom. The three decided to take a very wild celebration/honeymoon instead. There were several reasons for this... Firstly, with how long Cletus and Frances have just longed to be reunited, them being together again trumped the desire for revenge.

Secondly as much as Carnage hated to admit it, Venom was still older and more experienced than he was in combat. So he (albeit begrudgingly) agreed getting some additional experience under his belt was probably a good idea. So after their red, bloody wedding they set off on their merry murderous way.

Headcanons:

-Frances is extremely touch starved.

-She spent 25 years in a tiny cell alone like a rat in a cage; so she is extremely clingy to Cletus for a good while after she is freed.

-Especially at night if she wakes up from a bad dream, she will cling to him even if he's still asleep. Just to reassure herself that she really is free, he's there and the whole thing was not just a dream.

-Kasady not only doesn't mind, but he is the same way in that he needs to reassure himself that he truly has found his beautiful fractured angel, and the whole thing isn't a hallucination he's having while being executed.

-Carnage rolls his eyes and thinks these two are a little too sappy. But... even he can't help but get some warm and fuzzy feelings the longer he is with them.

-Much to his dismay...

-At first there was some high tensions between Carnage and Shriek due to her powers being dangerous to him and him also snapping at her because of it... Frances reacted badly to these situations, but it became obvious pretty quickly the reason was directly tied to her mistreatment at Ravencroft.

-It took a bit of effort, but eventually things were able to get worked out so that Shriek was considerably more careful with her sonic screams not to accidentally catch Carnage in the crossfire.

-If he is in the way and there is no avoiding him and the situation truly called for her to use her powers, Frances now carries with her several flares. Which she would do her best to light before she screams. Those few seconds are often the only time Carnage needs to get out of the way due to his speed.

-The bonus would be the flare being used to cause a fire afterwards, which all three would find amusing.

-Due to this system and just in general learning to live with each other, hostility between the symbiote and Shriek is nearly non-existent. Although he will still be grumpy for a time should the very rare occasion occur where this system fails.

-While both Cletus and Frances know how to drive, Frances tends to drive more often while Cletus is in charge of the radio.

-Carnage will often materialize his head and hang it out the side of the car with his tongue hanging out, much like a dog.

-Goes without saying, they ignore speed limits.

-Any car that honks their horns at them is quickly dealt with.

-During the duos time in St. Estes, Cletus and Frances made a list of everything they wanted to do together once they were married. And they decide to cross off the majority of these wishes during their trip.

-While many of these wishes were violent, such as pushing a dozen different people in front of oncoming trains to see how different they splatter. Some were genuinely benign, like wanting to go to a drive in movie.

-It took a while, (It was surprisingly harder than killing people with a train) but they eventually found a drive in theater that had an all night horror movie marathon on.

-Carnage made snarky comments throughout many of the movies; with the only movie he was quiet through and actually enjoyed was 'The Thing'

-He stole a cell phone and wrote it a 5 star review, stating the only downside was that the alien didn't win and feast upon humanity.

-Every other movie they saw he left mean-spirited reviews.

-He tends to do this a lot.

-But his mean reviews however have earned him a bit of a following online.

-Occasionally he and Kasady will stream a horror movie, where the movie can be seen and they will just make comments throughout it. With no one actually seeing who is giving the dialogue.

-Its titled 'Red and Mr. C Review'

-It is deliberately ambiguous who is who...

-Carnage: Oh God the female is going to scream... again...

-Cletus: And they always do it while they run... Never got that logic, it just lets the killer follow your annoying screams right too you. At least that's how it works in my experience. And I am what you'd call an expert on the subject...

-Carnage: Bah, and the main character is so annoying... I would rather have our wife scream at us point blank then be forced to watch this again. Poor character development!

-Shriek is off camera laughing, nobody loves hearing their show as much as she does.

-Truthfully Carnage likes it more than Cletus, but Kasady goes along with it because the symbiote enjoys it and loves being such a jerk. All relationships are give and take after all.

-They spent a few weeks in Mexico, even attending the Day of the Dead festivities.

-Goes without saying, the party lived up to the name.

-Shriek wore a beautiful costume that greatly resembled La Muerte from the Book of Life.

-Carnage got to walk the streets in his true form...

-Enjoyable enough until they added their own fun to the rest of the party...

-Insert these two dancing together while Carnages tendrils just went out and started slicing people up, coating the ground and walls in blood and gore.

-And yeah they did spend a few days just relaxing on a beach too.

-Carnage is the reverse of Venom in that he can eat all the people and brains he wants without restraint, he does just get cravings for chocolate.

-Is an admitted chocoholic.

-During a trip through a small town, the murder family got a bit turned around down a forested backroad and came across a large secluded and gorgeous manor concealed in the woods.

-The owner of this house was disposed of and strung up by his guts in the town, a symbolic gesture of them claiming his home and belongings as theirs.

-It's their new little love nest.

-They also laid claim to the forest as well. Anybody stupid enough to go into 'Their forest' is never going to be seen again.

-Their property signs are crudely drawn images of Carnages face

-They kinda became this towns cryptids...

-The local town mayor realized these two weren't going to leave, so rather than call in any gov agency for help... which would automatically cause a bloodbath and probably get the whole town killed... he figured the best course of action was the one of least resistance.

-Namely, the town would leave the psychopaths alone, and pray to God that would get them to leave the residents of the town alone as a result...

-This has worked so far because of two reasons...

-1) The town has a higher than average population of mutants and this leads Shriek to have SOME sympathy for the residents. So she and Cletus tend to target other nearby towns for their murderous fun.

-2) There is a particular bakery in this town that just has the best sweets that the trio like... Even if they ever decide to wreck the town the owners of this shop would be safe, provided they keep their end of an unspoken bargain.

-2.A) This aforementioned bargain is that occasionally there will be a red spike nailing a paper with an order for something to the back door. The order is filled and left out back for pick up... they may not be paid for the items beyond the promise of not being murdered for fun.

...I actually have a second part of this that I will write and post some time later if people actually enjoy this one. Like I said this was just for fun and entertaining to read. :)

Funny and weird Headcanons for Franchise/Story Series

1.) Edith and Marigold were scared the first time they had to use a shower. George had to show them that the water pressure wasn’t going to tear their skin from their body ... and he had to stay with Edith the entire time. 

2.) Mary has attempted to read George’s translations of “Journey into the West” every time she stays at Crawley House with him. Matthew asks her why she bothers after all these years and Mary always replies in frustration that she would not be defeated by their son’s “ Ridiculous Monkey Book”! 

3.)  As part of the terms of Mary’s imprisonment from 1936-1942 she is not allowed to leave Downton Abbey or the grounds. Thus, it’s given rise to the popular depiction of Lady Mary Crawley as a character in a Gothic Romance Novel which captures people’s imaginations. And during the war, Both British and American Service Men would take road trips to Northern Yorkshire trying to get pictures of Mary on the grounds to send to their obsessed moms or sisters back home. 

4.) When Matthew returns from the dead in mid-1940 he becomes incredibly fascinated with radios. 

5.) When Sybil returns, she dyes her hair dark red so that people stop asking if She and George are twins and after the war she continues to keep her hair red for the rest of her life. 

6,) Thomas and Sybil go out for a cup of tea every late Saturday night at an all night shop to talk and gossip. 

7.) Thomas is Mary’s sobriety sponsor after she becomes addicted to Methadone injections in the mid-1930′s.    

8.) Alfred and Ivy return to take over as co-cooks downstairs after Ms.Patmore and Daisy’s deaths. 

9.) After Daisy dies in childbirth, Mrs. Baxter and Mr. Moseley adopt her baby and raise him as their own. 

10.) Anna and Bates have one more child, a daughter named Lily Mary Bates, of which Mary and Mr. Carson are her Godparents.  

11.) George has no cook at Crawley House and makes dinner for his Butler - Richard Ellis, His Housekeeper - Ethel Park, and himself, most weeknights when he is home.

12.) Some members of the family don’t like going to Crawley House for dinner, because, the food George makes is American workman fair (Cowboy food as Tom calls it) and, more to the point, George removed class barriers at Crawley House. Which meant that everyone - guest, member of the the family, and servants - ate dinner together, no exceptions. And there are some in the family that feel it below their dignity to eat brown gravy meat and potato stew that they have to serve themselves from a pot in the middle of a table in the kitchen sat by butler and housekeeper. 

13.) Mary cooks for Matthew on special occasions to surprise him.

14.) Mary learned how to cook out of necessity during her parole at Crawley House, because ... ‘I’m not your cook, and I’m sure as hell ain’t your damn butler. If you want something in this house, you make it yourself, Princess!’

15.) Tom and Sybil conduct their secret affair at the same Inn they stayed at when they tried eloping twenty-two years before.

16.) Lucy knows about the affair, but has not yet admitted it to herself. 

17.) Thomas also knows and often tells Sybil that she and Tom need to decide what they want, because, they’re only hurting people who don’t deserve it. 

18.) Marigold is engaged to the Earl of Ravencroft ... but she is secretly in love with another man. But they can never be together, despite being in love all their lives, due to the secret of her paternity that Edith revealed to Marigold just before the night the boy she loved was going to propose. And instead of the Soul Mate he dreamed of all his life ...

 George got a cousin instead.

USUAL HAUNT/FREQUENTED LOCATION: Citadel of the Dead, White Swallow, Eternal Falls MOTIVATION(S): Remy believes in balance over anything, and not in the way the 'light' witches believe in it. He believes that there is nature in the corrupted, that is it natural to practice the black magic, that there cannot be light without dark. He believes his darkness is a necessity to keep the world balanced. If the world's pendulum is swinging too much on the side of light, he'll quickly do something to counteract it, but if it's too much on the side of darkness, he tends to sit back and not cause any more chaos and will even sometimes give pointers to the witches of light. WHY ARE THEY IN CALAMITY: Calamity is where he was raised by his parents before they became bloodwraithes and unfit to raise him. He's traveled the world for a few years but has returned to serve the arch conduits and help balance the light and the dark. WANTED CONNECTIONS

Remy is all about balance so when he meets a witch he believes needs to stay on the side of light he sometimes offers to absorb any dark magic they might manage to conjure when they are struggling with staying on the side of good.

Someone who has found out about Remy's financial status and maybe tries to get him to be a business partner or something. 

DESCRIPTORS/TRAITS POSITIVE: Loyal, Intelligent, Observant NEGATIVE: Sarcastic, Apathetic, Blunt 

HEADCANONS

Before his parents died, they were bloodwraithes - utterly crazed with powers they can no longer control. As a sorcerer himself, Remy feels this will also be his path. It was something that unsettled him at first, but now he's made peace with the idea, believing it to be nature's course. 

As an Epithet Remy is trained in combat and favors the whip as his weapon. Though he objectively has no problem with any of the other creatures in Calamity, he is loyal to the arch conduits and will carry out their will regardless.

 During his travels, Remy spent a lot of time in colder regions and eventually decided his conjured animal would be the snow leopard. Over the years he's trained it to compliment his fighting style with the whip. 

Being a light witch was never an option for Remy, as his parents were both sorcerers. He never stopped to think against it, his powers developing quite nicely as he embraced the darkness. His belief of dark magic being apart of mother nature is something he developed on his own the more he traveled the world. 

He is a believer in knowledge is power and won't go a day without reading. Though he takes his craft seriously, he does enjoy a night out every so often as well. 

Remy inherited a substantial amount of wealth. He's not one to spend money on flashy things so he's remained unemployed, for the most part, since then.

CHARACTER NAME: Jazarus 'Jazz' Stormwind AGE: 30 FACECLAIM: Ben Hardy SPECIES: Merfolk ROLE: Civilian FACTION/SIDE: The Forgotten 

USUAL HAUNT/FREQUENTED LOCATION: Medusa's Wreck, White Swallow, Cresent Lake MOTIVATION(S):: All Jazz cares about is celebrating and experiencing all the beauty the world has to offer. It's something he wants for everyone, which is why he is always traveling, always performing. He goes after what he wants and tries to live life with no regrets. He loves attention and he loves to perform for an audience. He takes great pride in being merfolk but he also loves interacting with other creatures as well. He believes there is a way for all of them to coexist without having to constantly fight all the time. WHY ARE THEY IN CALAMITY:  His songs are known in many merfolk kingdoms throughout the world. He's currently stopping in Calamity to perform for the new king and queen, as well as anyone else who would want to listen. 

WANTED CONNECTIONS:

HEADCANONS

Despite all merfolk knowing how to sing, Jazz is particular gifted when it comes to music. Not only does he sing but he also knows how to play the harp, violin, cello, piano, and can recite poetry. Obviously the instruments are better played on land. 

Among several merfolk kingdoms Jazz has grown into having a somewhat celebrity status, recognizable for his talents most likely. His music seems to be favored among the surface as well, though the scale is much smaller (he hopes to change that). 

Typically a lover not a fighter, Jazz will try to smile out of any hostile situation. If his charm can't work, he does know a few tricks with his aquakinesis to help him out. 

Only types of creatures Jazz tries to stay clear of are the Fae. Obviously he interacts with them when he needs to exchange his scales for legs but they sort of remind him of himself and that makes him very weary. 

WHAT DOES YOUR CHARACTER DO IN CALAMITY: A musician, will perform at any venue that will have him.

Some VLTBC Shriekingcarnage Headcanons

* Frances is very good at crossword puzzles and sudoku and word games. Newspapers were the only form of entertainment Ravencroft gave her in the cube.

* She could write newspaper articles if she had a mind to--she knows the format very well.

* Cletus compulsively eats bugs because when he was growing up his family kept him locked up in the basement, starving him for weeks on end.

* Once Carnage gains an immunity to sonics he/she/they are much more chill and comes to appreciate Frances for her personality and for the affect she has on Cletus.

* Cletus genuinely thought he and Eddie were friends and feels really betrayed by him.

* Cletus uses his art to help organize his thoughts. Unfortunately this didn't work in his favor when he drew incriminating stuff on his cell wall.

* Cletus began his serial killer career trying to find Frances. But Frances was like 90% of his self control and he just so happened to give zero shits about anyone who got in his way.

* If Frances was safe and happy he'd be content to just lay low and make art and bad poetry. Hang up the whole murder thing except for when Carnage gets hungry (but you can't really fault them for that, can you Eddie...?)

* They didn't let Frances do much of anything while trapped in the box but she's determined to learn and live the life that was denied to her. Cletus (and Carnage) are there to support her in any endeavor.
