Question, i was looking at Kabru art, specifically the one with the bulleting board thing behind him and i noticed that the names on the people on that board were written in japanese (if not correct me) and under in another language (native of that world) does that mean common toungue is the equivalent of our lenguage? And if so do you happen to have any more info?
Btw, if i'm bothering you can ignore! Love your posts 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Specific questions about tiny details in Dungeon Meshi could never bother me!
I'm pretty sure common is japanese,
I assume the writing below is the made up 'common' writing made up for this world and the names are in japanese so we can understand them as readers? But the spoken language they call common is surely Japanese to me due to this bit from the Adventurer's Bible page on dwarves.
They mention Senshi is a word picked up by common from dwarf tongue. Senshi in japanese is warrior just like in common!
Btw Senshi says in his introduction that his name means Seeker in dwarfish. His name is written in katakana (センシ) like the other character names, instead of the actual kanji writing for warrior (戦士) but the pronunciation is the same

So, I found these perfumes inspired by JJK characters and it's very very funny to me that Megumi has "fruity" notes in its composition (Megumi Fushiguro I know what you are), plus woody and leather go well with it.
Another thing is that I've read Yuji being described with citrus scents in several fanfics and seeing this confirmed by this brand makes me very excited. Citrus fruits suit it, I think.

So curious I don't remember ever seeing hom, but do you have a design for Red Alert. I forever associate him with the Lambos because he was listed as their brother in old extra material and shared their mold.
I read your ask and was immediately like "That's so funny, how did I not know that trivia bit?"
The terror twins have a brother like Red Alert of all people? An upstanding individual with anxiety and OCD? How much would they have put his poor spark through?
I didn't actually have him designed before this ask. But the idea of Red Alert having to deal with his awful big (?) brothers tormenting him a little is too good to pass up. Now I just have to go apologize to Barricade for pushing his design back again...
Thank you so much for this brain-child.

My brother conned me into helping him put together three bookshelves today (and by conned, I mean: he promised me food, so. y'know. fair.)
While I was at his house, a commercial for Liberty Mutual came on and his ten-year-old said, "ew, why is there an ostrich in this commercial?"
"Hey," I said. "That's an emu and we don't mess with emus, okay? The Australians lost a war to them. That's not a joke, that actually happened."
My sister-in-law gives me this what the fuck look and was like, "How do you know that???"
Later on, as I'm laying down for bed, my sister calls me.
"If I were to say '[Name] has a new beau,' could you explain 'beau' in that context because my husband has never heard of it."
"It's a paramour," I said, because genuinely it was the first thing that popped into my head.
Before I can continue with other synonyms, all you hear is a grown man yell in the background, "WHAT THE FUCK IS A PARAMOUR?"
In conclusion, I don't think either of these people were prepared to have me as a sister-in-law.
