Slaughterhouse 9 coffee orders

Jack: Black coffee, but he's very particular about what you serve him. He'll force coffee shop employees to make his very specific pour over order with specialty beans under the threat if he takes one sip and doesn't like it he'll kill them. Doesn't actually like coffee, it all tastes the same to him.

Bonesaw: Jack has told her she's too young to drink coffee, has hot chocolate with whipped cream instead. Makes the employees sing a little song when they serve it or she won't drink it.

Siberian: Does not drink anything that didn't come from a human being. However, Manton goes to starbucks for frappes while they're on the road.

Mannequin: Is physically incapable of consuming food. He enjoys the preparation process though.

Burnscar: She drinks whatever slop they have. Everything tastes like smoke and ash to her. Likes vanilla lattes though.

Crawler: Orders a venti cup of espresso shots and makes them pour a five hour energy into it.

Shatterbird: Doesn't like coffee, prefers tea and a nice book to read while she drinks it. Claims no coffee shop ever has good tea.

Cherish: She has the most bougie taste imaginable and will talk down to every employee there about how they're making it, how they present it, how long they take, and while she's drinking it talks endlessly about how other places prepared it better. Secretly loves a pumpkin spice latte but cannot ever order it in front of others.

Baby is a BIG tantrum thrower.... if he's angry, he stomps and kicks his feet, screeches, fists his hands and then as soon as he's out of angry steam, he'll crawl over to you and put his head in your lap, tearfully asking for forgiveness

He's a big crawler or scooter, he hates walking because scooting or crawling makes him feel smaller

He loves comforting head rubs! Whenever he's crying or sleepy, run your fingers through his hair and he's instantly calmer

He's very unaware of how big his body is so he is so confused when it's hard for you to pick him up and carry him like other littles and that PISSES HIM OFF because it makes him feel big and anything that makes him feel large when he's in headspace makes him sad or angry

Not a big candy or sugar eater but he will eat it for like christmas and special occasions

He LOVES those baby puffs things...

He has a little red wagon (That's his size) that we take him to the local library in and he loves picking up picture books about dogs and bunnies lol

Speaking of dogs, including having layla, he also has a stuffie that resembles Layla that's his emotional support stuffy that he takes EVERYWHERE with him along with at least one of his blankies, if not more than one

You love taking him to the pumpkin patch during the holidays and doing all the activities. Playing in the corn mountain, walking the maze, picking apples, riding the hay ride etc.

He gets so excited for "night nights" because he gets to cuddle all of his blankets and stuffies and head rubs and you lay with him while he watches a show and dozes off

He LOVES shows like Arthur, Max and Ruby, rainbow fish, the smurfs, etc.

Whenever he breaks a rule and has to go in time out for any reason, he's LOUD when he cries screams for you but rarely ever gets up before the timer goes off

We rarely ever get him dressed for the day if he's in headspace. If he doesn't want to, we don't force it. Onesies make him happy so why change him

Also, when he's in headspace, you can tell because his walk changes, he doddles. He's a lot more clumsy

Zardy and Pumpkin Jack were never really ones for sharing.

Hell, to this day they still have disputes over who gets what side of the corn maze.

But after you came along, respecting the crops and getting to personally know all the creatures who inhabited this place...they found themselves drawn to you.

You were never afraid of them.

In fact, you were willing to stay in the nearby house just so you could see them both more often (finding the key was...a pain, but well worth it).

After a few months, they're both completely smitten over you.

Jack tried beating Zardy to the punch in confessing to you.....but midjump he was blindsided by a flying Cablecrow and had to untangle himself from its wires.

By the time that was done, Zardy was already with you.

Long story short...you ended up falling for them both as you simply couldn't choose, and they surprisingly agree with this.

Being creatures stuffed with hay and straw makes them excellent pillows whenever you're cuddling/hugging them.

And they talk about their past, or the latest stupid thing some trespasser or Brute/Rattler/Cablecrow did, or what they wanted to do for Halloween.

However, something maaay have to be done about Pumpkin Jack's claws if you're gonna cuddle with him alone.

He insists they're for your protection (or if he needs to answer the call of a crawler who was attacked).

Zardy just shakes his head and urges him to move aside so there's room for him, too.

Of course, repairing them becomes a skill you learned rather quickly during your time in the maze.

But after fixing them up, you always leave kisses on the newest patch you've added to their bodies.

Jack just grins and giggles, kicking his feet and everything.

Meanwhile Zardy hides behind his hat, wishing he could go invisible.

Don't get him wrong, though, he loves your affections just the same.

Today I read Annihilation and I got to where it first says "where lies the strangling fruit" and I was like "huh that sounds very familiar" so I googled it and of course the results were all from Annihilation which I had never read before. but the familiarity was so intense and I was so sleep deprived that I became convinced that Jeffy V had accessed words embedded through our DNA into our subconscious. Let me tell u that really increased the horror feeling of the novel until suddenly I was just like "oh yeah that's one of Charlie's tags isn't it"
