Albert Brooks, one of the greatest character actors ever, summed this up perfectly in the movie Malcolmx!
Malcolm X: Because they don't want to walk around with a nappy head, looking like…
Baines: Looking like what? Like me? Like a nigger? Why don't you wanna look like what you are? What makes you ashamed of being black?
I used to be mad at these people, but now I pity them. They traded a rich and diverse culture for one that sees them as things and accouterments! Trump clarified that when he spoke about Michael The Black Man at his rallies. “His” Afrikan American. There’s no hope for them. They’re too far gone, and they are my enemies. Ase! In POWER and LOVE!

Black Women are Magical
Curly hair, thick lips, dark skin.
Carrying all those curves, long legs that stretch and wrap thinly around a non-existent waist line.
Black Women, Girl Yes you are magical.
Gap, Freckles & Glasses you have mad style
If slicking edges & popping lipgloss was a class you’d be the major.
Corse Hair & light skin doesn’t make you any less black.
Your Blackness is Magic no matter the shade, size, texture or thickness of thighs.

Compensation isnt new ... compensation for the enslaved is... Reposted from @odunifehistory Follow @odunifehistory to support this page. Do you see a pattern here? In 1825, Haiti paid the sum of $21 Billion USD to France in order to maintain its independence and as compensation for the loss of enslaved Africans This was done because the French ruler Charles X had demanded that Haiti pay an "independence debt" of 150m Gold Francs. At the time, the amount was unimaginable for such a young nation and was at least 10 times its annual revenue. In the end, Haiti held to ransom, paid 90million Gold Francs, (about 21 Billion USD) in today's money thus enriching France and impoverishing itself. in 1833, after slavery was abolished in Britain, the British government pledged £20 million taken as a loan to compensate enslavers of enslaved Africans for their “loss” This money went exclusively to the enslavers with nary a thought for the enslaved who received absolutely nothing as compensation for generations and generations of toil, trauma and trouble. This loan took British taxpayers 182 years to pay off and was only completed in 2015! In fact if you are a taxpayer in the UK reading this, there is a great likelihood that your tax funds might have been used to service this "loan” In 1862, America paid compensation to enslavers of up to $300 for the loss of each enslaved Africans. The enslaved Africans received nothing by way of compensation or reparation. In 2020, after years of strict sanctions by the West, Zimbabwe is obliged to pay $3.5 billion as compensation to descendants of white farmers who colonized them and violently stole their lands. To add salt to this wound, Zimbabwe does not currently have the funds and will have to borrow, thereby keeping the country perpetually indebted and economically crippled What a way to hold a nation ransom Do you see a pattern here? What patterns do you see?
