Just noticed that one of my vintage Hawaiian shirts I've had for a few years had a few holes in it (an easy to hide fraying at the seam under the collar) and some random holes that just appeared at one side 🤷

Inspired by some of the fixes you've shared I cut away some of the fluffy fray and attempted to secure it with some darning as I really wanted to make it subtle but sturdy enough to last without unraveling. Made life a bit more difficult for myself as I wanted to use multiple coloured threads to blend in with the design as best as I could, and I patched it on a diagonal as this looked better with the flow of the leaf design.

(Ps - shirt was from Beyond Retro, like a curated thrift store online, great sustainable fashion option if you need something "new" and they do sales quite often if anyone wants to check them out! I don't work for them 😂 )

Anyway, keep up the good work!!
