Austria, prima conferință de presă a Comisiei Corona. La sfârșitul lunii septembrie va fi o nouă lege epidemiologică

La sfârșitul săptămânii trecute, a avut loc la Viena prima conferinta de presa a Comisiei Corona. Au participat cancelarul austriac, Sebastiana Kurz, vice-cancelarul, Werner Kogler, Ministrul sanatatii, Rudolf Anschober, Ministrul de interne, Karl Nehammer si reprezentanta noii comisii Corona, Daniela Schmid.

La aceasta conferinta de presa s-au repetat multe dintre informatiile pe care le-am publicat cu două zile înainte (AICI), unde am sintetizat toate datele importante si de ultima ora de care avem nevoie ca sa stim cum mergem mai departe in aceasta toamna. În plus, s-a anunțat că la sfarsitul lui septembrie Austria va avea o noua lege epidemiologica, lege care va permite punerea in aplicare a masurilor Corona.

Noutatea a fost faptul ca s-a anuntat in mod oficial ca inafara de 4 zone galbene, in rest toata Austria este verde. Care sunt cele patru zone galbene? Viena, Linz, Graz si Kufstein. Ce masuri se vor lua? Obligativitatea mastii va fi extinsa, au anuntat guvernantii.

Inafara de aceste zone galbene, mai exista cateva, care se afla peste valorile limita impuse de comisia Corona pentru verde, dar care inca nu trec la galben deoarece se asteapta evolutia situatiei din urmatoarea saptamana si eventual, vinerea viitoare, ziua care de acum incolo va fi asa numita zi a semaforului, se vor da publicitatii poate noi masuri, daca vor fi necesare.

Printre zonele care actual sunt in discutie, daca sa fie sau nu puse pe galben se afla si Wr. Neustadt, Innsbruck, Eisenstadt-zonele limitrofe (Eisenstadt Umgebung), insa, foarte important, nu avem de ce sa intram in panica deoarece situatia se poate schimba in bine, iar evolutia sa nu faca necesara schimbarea culorii din actual verde in galben sau alta culoare.

Guvernanti au facut cunoscut faptul ca valoarea limita pentru culoarea verde este de 20 de cazuri la suta de mii de locuitori. Exista domenii, au spus acestia, unde avem o perioada de tranzitie, anume in domeniul invatamant, unde astăzi se vor face cunoscute masurile care trebuie luate si domeniul gastronomie, unde acest lucru se va face saptamana viitoare.

Atat culorile diferitelor regiuni din Austria cat si ce masuri se vor lua la ce culoare vor fi publicate si permanent actualizate, pe pagina speciala de web cu adresa: corona-ampel.gv.at, pagina care, incepand de acum o ora, este deja online. De asemeni, aceste informatii se afla si pe pagina de teletext 659 a televiziunii austriece, ORF.

Un domeniu la care se lucreaza intens in acest moment este acela al reducerii timpilor in care se prelucreaza datele privind noile infectari, se urmareste asadar ca de la comunicarea telefonica la test sa nu treaca mai mult de 24 de ore, de la test la primirea rezultatului, tot maximum 24 de ore si de la rezultat la gasirea persoanelor de contact, la fel, nu mai mult de 24 de ore.

Ministrul sanatatii, Rudolf Anschober, a specificat faptul ca este normal ca in orasele mai mari, cum ar fi spre exempul Viena, sa avem o rata mai mare de infectare si de transmisibilitate a virusului.

Acolo unde avem galben, asa cum am mentionat mai sus, obligativitatea purtarii mastii va fi extinsa, in domeniul invatamantului, spre exemplu, toata lumea o va purta peste tot, mai putin in clase, la ore. La sfarsitul lui septembrie Austria va avea o noua lege epidemiologica, lege care va permite punerea in aplicare a masurilor Corona.

La intrebarea daca rosu inseamna automat shut-down, adica inchiderea totala, raspunsul a fost NU, rosu nu va fi automat inchidere insa, in cazuri grave si dupa consfatuiri suplimentare, se poate lua si aceasta hotarare extrema de inchidere totala (shut-down).

Diversity - Events: my experience at the Straßenfest of Hartheim.

Last year, before going back to university, I spent the year doing voluntary work at the Institut Hartheim of Austria, which is, for those who have never heard about it, one of the biggest and most well-known institutions for people with disability in Austria.

It is a place where people can live in peace – where they can get treatment, have therapy, or where they simply spend their lives in a save environment.

Some only come here for work, or their medical or behavioural treatment, while others are permanent residents.

The Institution is located in Alkoven – a very small town in Austria, with a dark past – given how there used to be a concentration Camp within the Schloss Hartheim, which is only a few hundred meters away from today’s institution.

To some, this might seem morbid and cruel – for the people of Hartheim however, having the castle this close is important. They say that even now, after WWII has ended, they still want to stand strong and to set an example. Today, the castle is a reminder and a place of education, teaching everyone willing to listen about the crimes which were conducted in WW II. Some clients of Hartheim even work in the castle, giving tours themselves, or helping out in the Café Lebenswert, which is right next to the castle.

The Institution of Hartheim is all about inclusion – it is about giving people with disabilities of all kinds a voice and a community and place to live. People of Alkoven already know Hartheim and it’s clients and it is astonishing and heart-warming to see how natural and normal a shared every-day life is for everyone.

The Institute however has been changing – instead of having all clients in Alkoven, all of them living in the same, giant building, they are relocating all their groups, distributing them across all of Upper Austria, in order to give the people a more natural environment – and actual houses where they can live in, together with their care-givers and fellow flat-mates.

These newly established houses and apartments however are often in places where the townspeople aren’t used to the concept of inclusion yet, to the full extent. Hartheim in general does it’s best to raise awareness and bring people together – usually in the form of festivals and parties of all sizes and in all forms, which are meant as encouraging possibilities for “both sides” to meet.

(Only last year, a new café in Linz opened, which also has an art gallery where the people of Hartheim can showcase their work!)

The event I am going to talk about now was nothing big, like the annual Summer Festival, or the annual Rock im Hof which is always during Autumn. In fact, the event was very small – we’re speaking 50 to 100 people, but this definitely does not take away from how nice it was, but, first things first!

The event I attended was a Straßenfest.

A group of flatmates, along with their care-givers, had planned to hold a small summer-straßenfest, using this as a chance to bring the flat-mates and neighbours, as well as other people of the town together. They had planned it all thoroughly and even invited local musicians!

There was food, the mayor held a speech, multiple higher-ups of Hartheim themselves were present and directed a few words to the attendants and of course, the clients of Hartheim too had some singing and dancing prepared~!

There was also a charity event – a raffle, for example, as well as auctions of some of the paintings some of the clients had drawn and painted! All the funds went toward the shared saving-goal of a new, barriere-free bathtub, since most of Hartheim’s clients are old by now (having come to the Institute at a very young age) – and barrier-free bathtubs make bathing a much more pleasant experience for both Clients, as well as their care-givers. By the way - The Institute is always saving up for these bath-tubs - even now! In case anyone has a coin to spare, it will definitely be greatly appreciated!

The weather was wonderful – it was sunny and warm, but not too hot and while the area was a bit narrow, it sure was not too crowded! The Straßenfest took place from 2pm to around 10pm and everyone could come and go as they pleased - no proof of invitation or anything else needed!

Unfortunately, on this very day the local market was being held, thus many townspeople were busy. However, some did find their way to the Straßenfest!

What I really loved was how many people of Hartheim had undertaken a small journey to get here! No matter if they were from the main Institute in Alkoven, or if they were from another town. There were also many staff-members of Hartheim, or relatives of the clients!

This is something I have always loved about the Institute – everyone seems to know everyone, despite the huge number of clients and staff members and relatives! It is indeed a bit like having a huuuuge family – and even after only a year, I too started recognizing familiar faces. (Or, well…face-blind… it was mostly me being recognized, not vice versa – but you catch my drift.)

I stayed for a few hours and took my turn leaving when it became a bit colder. I had not been on duty or anything and even after having been away from Hartheim for almost a year, people still approached me after having recognized me from where I had absolved my year of voluntary work!

Thus, I had great fun and amazing conversations with both old and new faces!

I really love how hard Hartheim tries to really connect with the people from ‘outside’ – how hard they try to bring everyone together! They try to be open about their work – and about all the people who make Hartheim to what it is. Like this festival, many events are very accessible, friendly and open for everyone interested, which is amazing!

It is just a bit sad to see, that sometimes people are still hesitant.

Despite banners saying, “EVERYONE is invited!”, people still often think “Really? Does this really include me?” – and then, they don’t dare checking out what’s up, which of course defeats the purpose a bit. However, the people or Hartheim are still doing their best and that’s what counts.

I am a bit hesitant about posting pictures online for everyone to see, because privacy and all – and given how I actually live not too far away from these areas, I want to hold back on giving town-names in order to not out myself (Upper Austria sure is a tiny place to live in :’D ) – but to give you a small impression, have a heavily censored picture, coated with the best filters my phone had to offer – laughs –

I heavily doubt anyone reading this will be from Austria, let alone the area surrounding Alkoven – but in case you indeed are… feel free to drop by at the Institute of Hartheim.

They have an amazing restaurant / café and a beautifully amazing garden – for everyone to see and chill! Additionally, as terrible of a Place as it might have been, the Castle is a must-see.

Also, chances are high the people of Hartheim got some other, neat events planned for the summer and weeks to come~!

Professional Third Wheel - The Innocent Friend

You have asked me to to be your professional third wheel.

My role is as the ‘Innocent Friend’.

My natural lack of understanding of 'flirting’, along with the odd way everyone sees me as someone to 'protect’; allows me to create a comfortable bubble where everything is platonic. I come along and sit between you and your not-date. I will talk to you about your passions and about work. I will be polite to your not-date but will mostly sit in silence - giving an aura of polite awkwardness.

*If I am with you I will 'receive a text’ that will make me burst out laughing (may get a real friend to actually send me the text for 'proof’). If I am meeting you I will rush in already bursting with laughter. I will tell you both that so-and-so just asked me if you two were dating. The idea is so unbelievable it makes me laugh for ages, and I have to share it with you because you will find it hilarious as well*.

I will apologise for laughing and be sure to comment on how both are wonderful people, but I just do not see you as dating. All you need to do is genuinely react.

* Based on real events. At the after-party of a Children’s’ Play, one of the young actors (14) asked me if the director (female, 20) and a mutual friend (male, 23) were dating. I gave a confused no before the question sunk in and it was so ridiculous that I couldn’t help bursting out into laughter.

I had to rush up stairs to where the director and a few friends (including the guy) were hanging out, and told them what had happened through my laughter. Both were horrified because neither of them like the other in way (which is why it was so hilarious to be asked), and then both laughed along. It still makes me laugh to this day.*

Happy Aspec Saturday!!!

Because we deserve a special day to celebrate ourselves!

Normally on Saturdays (U.S.A. central time) we’ll be posting our new weekly prompt. But this week-- because we’ve extended our first prompt until August 17th-- we’re doing something a little different for Aspec Saturday~

Send us a community intro!

We’re hoping that this blog will be a place for aspec community, a place to meet some cool people with common experiences and interests. So if you’d like to introduce yourself to the growing community, just send us an ask with a little bit about yourself! It can be on or off anon and include as little or much as you want (as long as it follows our community guidelines, of course).

We’ll accept and post community intros at any time (not just this week), but why not kick them off now? The tag we’ll use on all of them is “community intro!”

She’s the light of my life,

my one true love—

all brown eyes

and warm smiles

She doesn’t always smell like flowers

but hey, who does?

She’s a sloppy kisser

but the best at cuddling

She likes it when

I stroke her hair

We go on walks together

to the beach

to the park

I tell her all my secrets

(she’s a great listener)

I’m taller than her

She likes it when I call her

Sweetie

and Honey

(her hair’s the color of sunshine)

We have different native languages

so there are some challenges

with communication

But really

that doesn’t matter

She always knows

when I need a hug

We have separate beds

but always end up

in the same one

We’re practically inseparable

And when I do have to leave

I’m only a little sad

because I know that she’ll be there

to greet me with kisses

when I come home

I know it’s not typical

not sexy

or romantic,

but it’s a love story all the same
