Crowley must know about Shax the hitchhiker, right??

He can tell if the Bentley is yellow for someone's sake - he's got to know that a demon was literally sitting in the car. Of course, it's not really new information that they are being questioned - Shax was already sniffing around the bookshop - and it's not a surprise that she asked the other half of the duo what was up. However, it does put a spin on Crowley telling Aziraphale that he was worried something must have happened... and readily accepting Aziraphale's answer that nothing did... and the way he's stuck to the angel like glue most of the next day during preparations for the Ball.

But I guess the most important question? Could he sense the bitchy eyebrow???!

Why each song?

•Starlight by Muse: It makes me feel that Crowley is listening to it, thinking about everything that he could have done with Aziraphale in Alpha Centauri.

•Love Of My Life by Queen: I mean, it's obvious, but it could make him feel like Freddie, the love of his life broke his heart and deserted him.

•Wicked Game by Chris Isaak: The lyrics 'I don't want to fall in love with you (this world is only gonna break your heart) makes me think about the before and the after of the kiss.

•Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears For Fears: The lyrics 'Nothing ever last forever' and 'everybody wants to rule the world'. This last one could make him feel like Aziraphale chose having an important role in heaven that gives him the possibility of choosing what will happen with Earth over him.

•Say Yes To Heaven by Lana Del Rey: Basically for all those tiktok edits with the lyrics 'Say yes to heaven, say yes to me'.

•Every Breath You Take by The Police: The lyrics talks about how the protagonist looks at the one he loves while they go and how it hurts to see them going away.

•Take Me To Church by Hozier: Another obvious song. I don't think I should explain this, right?

•Devil Came To Me by Dover: Could remember him about his falling, bit mainly for the lyrics 'I lied for you', because he lied to a lot of people, and mainly hell, for Aziraphale.

•Mr. Loverman by Ricky Montgomery: Just listen to it and you will feel heartbroken.

•Poison by Alice Cooper: It talks about a toxic relationship and I feel Crowley would see it as if Heaven had made Aziraphale become a poison because of how toxic Heaven is.

•Rolling In The Deep by Adele: 'We could've had it all'. That would remind him of his dreams of going to Alpha Centauri with Aziraphale.

•Yesterday by The Beatles: Just read the lyrics. Just read it.

I'd love your answers to 1, the character everyone gets wrong, and 16, thing you can't understand so many people liking.

1: i have to say that most people in our corner of biggles fandom don't get characters wrong often, but that just means i can complain ONCE AGAIN about how the forum talks about my beloved joan "worrals" worralson. the disrespect she experiences in the worrals et al thread genuinely drives me insane. the fact they've been having an ongoing debate about how she and biggles would get on is making me long to start a proper flame war for the first time since about 2013.

i just really think that if you can't recognise the concept of a transplanted girl's school book protagonist in the collectable children's book fandom then that's on you.

16: this is a divergence into doctor who but i really don't understand why so many people are still hung up on ten/rose to the point that they ship rose with every new doctor that turns up. there are other companions. biggles-wise i suppose i'd have to go with the vast swathes of people who really like spending silly money on norman wright editions when the covers aren't even that good
