New Good Omens tattoo! I'm super into divination and tarot so I wanted it to be something to do with a prophecy. And this was my favorite adaptation from season one of the show.
Did you all know that long ago, Neil's fans posted photos from the bath?
Welcome to Tumblr, 2012. Just as adorable and quirky as Tumblr of today, and with just as much Neil Gaiman appreciation, but with fewer fans to fuel the fads:

(I went looking for Good Omens clues in the time capsule that is the internet, and Tumblr decided that it knew best and instead sent me down this rabbit hole from which I may never recover. 1 point to Tumblr; please send help)
Why were people doing this?? I think it's because there's a poem, Bathing with Gaiman, by Zenobia Frost @zenfrost
And it inspired a dedicated blog, @bathbookneil-blog, featuring an entire collection of fan photos reading his books… in the bath.
Neil encouraged fans to read their books "in the bath naked, fully dressed, they can be of any gender or all, masked, alone, or in groups of as many of them as can fit into a bath." He also suggested trying to read while showering, a feat he said he's attempted, unsuccessfully.
When asked, Neil agreed to share a photo of himself reading in the bath if the donations for the free Audible release of Click-Clack the Rattle Bag reached 100,000 downloads/dollars.
He promised fans a "proper nakedy bath" with some discreet bubbles.
Alas!
I'm not about to reveal a long-lost photo of Neil in the bath.
The donations didn't reach the goal, and the bath-photo-sharing trend quietly wound down.
But maybe he gave us this glorious moment with David Tennant-as-Aziraphale-as-Crowley, to make up for it:

This has probably been said before but good omens had made very clear aziraphale and Crowley's relationship at the end of season 1 for any doubters
Here Crowley says 'time to leave the garden,' like God had said 'the story ends as it began - in a garden,' not just referring to Adam young. The Garden of Eden represented their responsibilities as angel and demon, especially their very first responsibilities. Leaving the garden means leaving it all behind.
When they met in Berkeley Square, they met no longer as angel or demon but as lovers, 'the first meeting of two lovers in Berkeley Square.'
I can't get over the fact how similar angel Crowley is to Eden Crowley. Before we saw angel Crowley, we didn't have the comparison and continuity, but we do now.
Just look at his hairstyle; his Eden hair is longer, as it logically should be because the angel phase was before the fall, but it's still wavy, and the swirl remains the same... 🥺
the script book makes all the sweet, heart-wrenching moments even worse because you realise just how much of it is david and michael. i was reading through the tadfield manor scene and i will kill to get season 2 and 3 script books once s3 has been released.
a few highlights:
the paintball and coat scene where crowley does his little kissy blowy miracle? you know what the script says?
gestures. GESTURES. and i assume david went no yeah, kiss time it is, and here we are. unbelievable.
and that soft smiley "come on" it's killing me. someone take this show away from.
ah yes, pushing.
great pushing. amazing pushing. might even be called kicking.
crowley growling out hastur when the nun mentions the fire? not in the script! very curious who decided to add it because i love that change.
this change on the other hand? neil, neil who decided to cut this, NEIL stand trial for your crimes WHERE IS MY GRABBING WHERE IS MY HAULING
I'm not sorry. I cackle every time I hear the "oh Lord, heal this bike," from season 1. It's such a married gibe. Like Crowley is ticked his angel loverboy fucked with his car, but is tickled fucking pink that he also managed to blow their cover in the span of 5 minutes.
