the best part of bbc ghosts is that it's not just silly crazy zany ghosts and StraightFaced People having to put up with them like. the ghosts all sometimes hate each other too and alison and mike are just as bonkers as them sometimes. you must understand that in a muppet version of bbc ghosts like. humphrey's head would be the real person if anything. none of them are free from tomfoolery.

Pom Pom Crab!

[Lybia Tessellata]

These crabs are known for their signature move of always carrying a small living sea anemone around, which helps them catch food and protect themselves from predators. And thas' where they get them name from!

They arr also called "Hawaiian Boxer Crabs"

They can live up to 6 years in a human-made, low competition environment.

Yes, it do shake them pom poms. If provoked or attacked by a predator, the pom-pom crab will threaten the aggressor by waving it’s anemones around, the tentacles armed with cnidocytes (stinging cells).

The Pom Pom Crab are very popular in nano tanks. But don't be keeping these wild hearties in a small cage! They belong in deep seas, not yer aquarium.

[ Fun Fact! This fellows Hawaiian name is kūmimi pua, meaning “inedible flower crab”. ]

Lybia tessellata is a small crab growing to a width of about 2.5 cm (1 in).

The females are sometimes seen with a large red egg mass on the lower part of the body. The eggs hatch and undergo several stages before settling down on the sea floor.

The chelipeds(entire claw) do not have the broad chelae (claws) typical of decapod crabs. Instead they are slim and each has a fine finger bearing eight or nine spines.

What a fit fo' the typical cheerleader gal stereotypa!

They be professional cleaners too! The sea anemone’s tentacles can be used like mops, gathering debris and food particles from the ground around the crab’s hiding place.

They be omnivores but apparently prefer animal matter to plant matter. The front claws are not used for feeding at all, and the first pair of working legs are used for feeding.

Happy Valentine's Day! I don't have a drawing, but do know that it's chocolate chaos in Bowser's Castle right now lol.

Suzuka drew Ludwig a sketch of him and gave him homemade sachertorte (adorned with a rose teehee), which Ludwig absolutely adored. Ludwig gave Suzuka a GIANT pile of konpeitō (his favorite little candies) and chocolates he had the castle chefs make lmao, as well as an entire day of cuddles, heartfelt piano sessions, and sappy words. :,3

Wendy asked Pom Pom to hang out like gal pals. Like total gal pals who do normal gal pal things like go to the fair and sit really close on the ferris wheel and-

Morton baked chocolate cakes for everyone... And actually did a good job??

Iggy and Lemmy made heartfelt pranks... But made up for it by giving everyone little trinkets they thought they would like (and hugs!)

Roy acted grumpy and careless all day: "None of that sappy crap!" ... But secretly really appreciated getting chocolates and candies from his siblings. Maybe some confections will come in return when they least expect it...

Larry, being the 9 year old he is, was absolutely insane all day from all that sugar. He was zooming up and down the halls, crash-hugging anyone who got in the way.

Junior was showered with gifts galore from his papa, of course. He shared some of it with the Koopalings, pretending like he was told to instead of doing it on his own accord.

Kamek gave everyone little cards that said what he appreciated most about them, along with a little chocolate. He was a very happy "grandpa" watching over everyone today :,3

And Bowser... Well, I'm sure you can imagine his attempts to Peach. He may have also gotten a little valentine from Luigi to try and make him feel better, which certainly stirred the fire within him...

“where’s the sugar at?”

“i think isle four”

you held the trolly as naomi stared down intensely at the list in front of them. katie’s writing was written lopsidedly on the crumpled page.

katie had written out a list of ingredients for a cinnamon roll recipe she wanted to try. you, having the baking skills, took the offer in making them alongside naomi who wanted to help out.

katie sent you two on your way quickly. leaving the tourbus with a small piece of paper in hand to go on a side quest that consisted of going to a random grocery store to find the stuff that you unfortunately did not have at the bus.

you weren’t really sure how you were going to make the cinnamon rolls but that was a problem for future you.

“are you sure this is isle four?” you push the trolly down the isle, following naomi closely. they were on a mission. paper held tightly as they snapped their head left and right to look at the different foods stocked onto the shelves.

“i think this is the frozen isle” naomi turned back to stare at you with a deep frown on their face. “baby i’m not lost - i know where i’m going” they whined.

“not doubting you. it’s just.. i don’t think sugar would be where frozen pizzas are” naomi picks up their pace, turning the corner onto the next isle. you push the trolly behind them.

“i can’t even read what this is” they scratched their neck with a sigh, eyes scanning around the isle. “we need eggs” the tattooed brunette picks up their speed again, speed walking down the isle as they scan through all the different items in the shelves

“why don’t we swap? i’ll take the list and you push the trolly?” you suggested. naomi stopped, turning slowly to face you as they squinted their eyes.

“i know what im doing.”

“are you sure? because it seems like you’ve gotten us lost three times now” you gave a small smile.

“i didn’t.. i just- it’s a big ass grocery store- why do they need three isles dedicated to sauces and two floors ?”

“can’t we ask employees?” you admired naomi’s determination. it was honestly a bit funny and endearing.

“i suppose” naomi shrugged their shoulders, crossing their arms with a frown . “we only have two more things to get then we can head back to the bus. sugar, eggs and salt- so scratch that. three things instead” naomi mumbled to themselves. running a hand through their hair with a sigh.

“stop stressing your pretty little head baby. let’s move to the next isle- give me this.” you reached over, taking the paper from their hands.

Hey friends!

Brief update. I’ve been having a hard time for a while now when it comes to writing. This is because of a few things—mostly my health and my day job. I’m doing well, but I’ve been reserving my brainpower for more necessary things than fanfic (as sad as it is to say). I’m hopeful that my health will improve soon, I just don’t know when or to what degree.

Right now, my plan is to finish The Birds & The Bees and go into a bit of a CM hibernation. This fandom has been with me since I was 12, so please don’t think that means I’ll never write for Spencer again. I still plan on answering asks, watching/discussing the show, hosting my writing challenges, and compiling rec lists for everyone in the meantime!

I’m not going anywhere. I just won’t really be writing here for a little while (again).

In the meantime, I’ve been recharging my creative power with another fandom. Again—don’t be scared—CM will always be one of my most beloved franchises and I am not leaving. That being said, if you are like me and have allowed Baldur’s Gate III to completely consume your life—I’d love to see you join me at @mybloodystarlight (under construction). I’m considering trying to rekindle my writing skills within that fandom, but I haven’t decided yet.

If you haven’t played the game, I cannot recommend it enough. Even if you think you’d be bad at DND and have never played a turn based party combat game, the story is enough to make up for the novelty and complicated (but intuitive!) controls. The detail and variety provides for thousands of possibilities of playthroughs.

I hope everyone is enjoying the release day of Gubler’s new book! Also, with the official end of the WGA strike and SAG AFTRA hoping to continue negotiations, I am eagerly awaiting season two of Criminal Minds: Evolution!

If my instincts and hopeful deductions are correct, Spencer Reid fans will want to catch up…

Finally got around to watching Pom Poko and it's very fun. I really like the use of Japanese folklore and tradition, and how it lends itself so seamlessly into the story; I wish more Evironmental stories were like this.

I also think the blatant display of Racoon Testicles is really funny considered that shit would absolutely not fly today
