✨ENG This is how I create detachable hair for some of my sculptures. I usually do this so that the painting is easier and neater, so after the painting step, the hair is glued to the head. But this method can also be used to make a set of interchangeable hairstyles - or hats.

If I had to choose a favorite step in the art making process, it would be painting. Painting always take the longest time but that's when the piece truly comes alive.
One if the most frequently asked question I get is I if I teach how to make painted polymer clay figurines and the answer is yes! I have hours and hours of video material on Patreon, showing how I sculpt and paint my pieces. The videos include a bite-sized article explaining the process, materials and why I use those materials.
If you're curious to learn which paints I use with polymer clay and why, I have an entire booklet which is also on Patreon available in all tiers.
This latest video alone is over 20 minutes long so pour yourself a hot cuppa and enjoy!
