Fyodor and Nikolai hate the cold despite being russian and ukrainian.

After living on the streets for years, they don't have many good memories with the cold. They remember very well how they were cowering in the dirty side streets in the winter, shivering, noses, fingers and feet hurting because of how cold they were, both sitting close together and Fyodor putting his own shaggy but warm coat (which was warmer than Nikolai's) around both of them in a desperate attempt of keeping them both warm. Both watching how the people with money and a home buyed warm bread, coffee and hot chocolate from the bakery and Fyodor praying that they would survive this winter. On top of that came that they had to be even more careful than during the rest of the year cause the hard winter made other homeless kids and adults so desperate that they won't hesitate to steal anything. Especially if the kids from which they wanted to steal looked so weak.

Nikolai can also remember clearly how much fear and despair he felt when Fyodor who had always been a sickish person became sick in the winter. He sometimes still dreams about how he held the other one close to him trying to warm him, wrapping him up in Fyodor's own coat and his very own coat, freezing even more due to this but willing to freeze to death if he could save his Fedya like this. Fyodor had lied in his arms, eyes shut, breathing heavily, shivering despite heating up too much, clinging to Nikolai and not loosing up his thight grip on the others shirt. His whole body had been in pain and often he had fever dreams causing him to forbid Nikolai from touching him after a while whenever he was half awake for some time due to his deep fear of crime and punishment activating once again out of fear when he woke up from another fever dream and killing Nikolai. Nikolai would be desperate at first because now he couldn't even hold his Fedya to warm him now but eventually he still held him again when the other was asleep despite all the risks that came with it. Usually he didn't prayed but in this time he prayed a lot and shoplifted a lot medicine even tho Fyodor forbid him to steal a lot after they had met and teamed up to prevent from people noticing it and them getting in trouble.

Eventually Fyodor managed to get healthy again and they both got through that winter and all the others following.

By now, they may love Christmas and how snow looks (Nikolai also enjoys snowball fights and building snowmans) but they hate the cold itself.

Of course thier boyfriends know about this and look after them a lot during the cold months. They always look out that they both are warm and feel good. Sigma often makes them hot chocolate and Shibusawa sews them all very warm fancy clothes which his boyfriends love. Fyodor latches himself into Nikolai and Shibusawa in these months even more since they both have naturally a very high body temperature. Shibusawa is basically a human heather since he is half dragon and radiates a lot warmth.

In the evening where it's even colder they all go together to bed and even Fyodor joins them. Normally he would work for hours until late at night and come to bed very late or early in the morning when the others didn't wrestled him to bed beforehand. They all lie cuddled together then and they keep three to four blankets (two normal and two wool blankets) in thier bed which get all hogged by Fyodor. He struggles even more with the cold than Nikolai since he is already always feeling cold because of his anemia. He and Nikolai also wear thick wool socks to bed then which Shibusawa knitted for them. Fyodor's are purple with small rats while Nikolai's are very colorful and mismatched.

They all cuddle a lot more than usually then too which they all enjoy very much.

Sigma definitely has very bad anxiety

Often it reaches it's peak at night. Whenether he said something normal at the casino but which he regrets now or if it's just overthinking to a point where he gets a existence crises.

He will be unable to sleep then, even if he sometimes thinks about just closing his eyes and trying to doze off bc he's tried and exhausted af

He often really wants to get up and take his melatonin or lavender pills but if he gets up he will wake up at least Fyodor for sure and he doesn't want them to know that his anxiety got bad again

All four sleep in one big bed so ofc they can feel if Sigma's anxiety is getting bad again

The constant tossing and turning aswell as the constant leg bouncing, the constant changing of positions, the cracking of the bed due to all the shifting, the hitched breathing, the random deep shaky breaths and the shaky bouncing and twitching of his legs wake the others up

Fyodor is usually the first to wake up because he has a very light sleep and rarely is in deep slumber

Shibusawa and Nikolai need a bit longer to wake up since both of them are heavy sleepers.

Depending on how bad the anxiety is, Sigma won't notice it directly if someone woke up and will get frightened at first if one of them asks him if everything is okay

If he noticed before they talk to him, he will try his best to seem perfectly fine with trying to get his casino facade back together (It doesn't work. Not in front of his boyfriends bc in truth he craves comfort )

Fyodor asking him basic questions like if it's okay to touch him, if he's mentally here with them and how bad it is on a scale from 1-10 which they made together for these cases after Sigma firstly opened up about his anxiety

In the most cases Sigma litarally craves the soft touch of a person he loves while they are completely concious and not asleep so he usually gives the okay for touching

Them cradling Sigma in thier arms, carefully going through his hair, soft kisses on his head and letting him grab thier hands or thier clothes.

Sigma's facade slowly breaks and he starts to ramble about all his dark thoughts and fears

They need to watch out so his rambling won't throw him into a full blown panic attack or hysterics so they listen to him but also hush him with soft "it's okay"s and locigal reassuring from Fyodor who is analyzing and calculating all the fears anyways.

Sigma latching himself onto Shibusawa because of his high body temperature (man is a dragon) but pulling the other two close too

Rarely he starts to cry but if he does the others hold him even closer and let him cry as much as he needs

They still calm him down tho

Nikolai or Shibusawa wiping his tears while reassuring him that everything is okay and that he's safe/here with them.

They also call him soft nicknames like Darling, Love, my tressure (Shibu), Cookie (Nikolai), Doll (Nikolai), Dove (Nikolai), Dearest (Fyodor), Lovely (Fyodor), myshka(Fyodor, russian:mouse)

After he calmed down he is just very very tired. He often struggled with the anxiety for hours and the final anxiety attack is always even more tiring

He hugs them, thanks them and apologizes. They always remind him that he doesn't have to apologize or to thank them

Fyodor braiding Sigma's hair new because it got all messy and he wants to avoid Sigma getting any more sensory issues or that he feels disgusting

Nikolai making jokes to cheer him up and getting some water aswell as a plate with cookies for him through his overcoat which he always keeps close to thier bed

Sigma usually says that he isn't hungry at all but he will chuck down the water in no time

Nikolai still makes him eat a bit so that he gets some sugar for his nerves

Shibusawa holding him carefully and warming him the whole time

Sigma is the type of person who's chest gets all thight and starts to ache due to this when his anxiety gets this bad again so Shibusawa is also carefully massaging his chest in circles and slow motions to make the aching go away

The first time one of them did this Sigma got all flushed but it felt so good and reliving that he allowed them continue. Now he sometimes even asks them for it, even tho he finds asking embarrassing

When Sigma gets a bit salty again at Nikolai's slight teasing they know, he's getting better again

Sigma usually falls asleep in thier blanket pile, cuddled up again Shibusawa, holding Fyodor's or Nikolai's hand

The next day they let him sleep in and after he got up he recrives twice as much affection as usual.

If someone, p. ex. a casino costumer is responsible for making Sigma feel like this, the other three will plot murder after Sigma fell asleep

After Shibusawa started going out with Fyodor,Nikolai and Sigma he started wearing three rings. One for each boyfriend. He picked them all out individually and choosed rings which reminded him of them.

For Fyodor he choosed one which is kind of simple but very elegant with small shiny clear gems. It's shaped into a very simple but extremly beautiful form and looks a bit like an antique ring.

For Nikolai he choosed a ring on which are theatre masks. It's also a very elegant ring without much shine and glittery gems but the two big theatre masks (one happy one sad) make it stand out in it's very own way

For Sigma he choosed a ring with shining and slightly glittering gems. It's in a very unusual yet beautiful shape and looks very elegant. The gems represent little stars.

He keeps all of the rings very close to him and rarley takes them off. A bonus for him is that Sigma and Fyodor often start playing or fidgeting with them unconsciously while holding his hand which he finds adorable.

The most people who know Fyodor think that he is uncapable of love or very cold and cruel in a relationship but in truth he is neither of this. He actually thinks of true deep love very highly and sees it as something beautiful so he actually takes great care of his partners.

He always makes sure that Sigma, Nikolai and Shibusawa are feeling good and have everything they need. He isn't the most physically affectionate person but he shows his deep affection for them in his very own ways like stopping his work (which he usually never does) when they need him or one of them feels bad, reading books to Sigma when he can't sleep, buying them things, helping to lift the weight of Sigma's anxiety with pure logic, playing card games or chess with them, he's willing to try out new clothes for Shibusawa and he spends quality time with them in general. He's also very protective of them. Not as much as Shibusawa and he's usually very chill unlike Nikolai when jealous but as soon as one of them gets in danger he will get them out personally if needed.

Shibusawa is basically half dragon so I like to imagine that he has some small dragon like behavior. Like being very protective of what's his or his boyfriends. But my favorite part of this is, him hogging pretty jewelry, shiny things and jewels. (Which is kinda canon). Just imagine, him having a big pile of this stuff and just lying on top of it like some dragons do- Just the imagination.

Poly decay (+Shibusawa) adopting Karma pt.1

My take on the headcanon/AU where Fyodor doesn't kill Karma but takes him with him instead.

Also Karma, Shibusawa and the ship are all horribly underrated and Karma deserves so much love and attention

Something else I want to mention because I know how many weird disgusting people are out here: Karma is like thier child here. Adopted child. But he isn't romantically/sexually/whatever else there is included into thier polycule. He's a child. (It's sad that I have to mention this)

Karma loves all of them really much but if definitly took some time for him to get close with all of them

The first time where he lived with them, he was basically glued onto Fyodor since he was the one who saved him, took him away from Ace and freed him from years of abuse

After a while he also latched himself onto Sigma since he finds Sigma very nice, kind, comforting and gentle

He was really scared of Shibusawa in this time bc his ability reminded him a lot of Ace's. Besides this, he knew the story about the collector and his bored and unreadable personality scared him too, not knowing what the man was truly thinking about or if he was plotting something

Shibusawa on the other hand actually tried to show the kid that he doesn't wants to hurt him

After seeing how nice, caring and protective he is towards his boyfriends and how even Sigma truly seemed to love him deeply, he got less and less scared of him

Nikolai acted like Karma was his child from the day on where Fyodor first took him in.

Karma was scared and cautious of the clown at first too due to his unhinged, energetic and loud personality and his constant pranks on others but he also started to like him after a while

They all treat Karma like thier child, always making sure that he feels well in thier very own ways

Fyodor is often busy, locked up in his office until late night, only occasionally coming out but he reads to Karma if he finds the time or lets him listen to him playing cello

Sometimes Karma falls asleep on Fyodor when all of them watch a movie while cuddling on the big couch and Fyodor won't move until the kid wakes up, letting him sleep peacefully

Nikolai drags Karma with him whenever he goes shopping, teaches him how to shoplift (Sigma scolded both of them) and lets him join his panks on the others

He also shows him a lot magic tricks and cheers him up with jokes when Karma is sad

Sigma won't let Karma come with him in the casino for many reasons but sometimes he takes him with him to the casino after it's opening times and plays cards with him on the fancy tables, treating him like a noble guest (in a playful and non serious way) for fun and giggles

It definitly took a long time for Karma to warm up towards Shibusawa but now Shibusawa sews clothes for the child too just like he does for his boyfriends and himself

Karma learns some russian and ukrainian too from Fyodor and Nikolai

Sigma feels horrbily bad for the kid after Fyodor told them what happened to Karma. After all he knows how it is to be kept as a prisoner, being used and having to do everything which his captures told him to do against his own will bc otherwise they would have killed him.

Because of this he feels a lot empathy towards Karma and probably understands him the best

Nikolai who was abused in the orphanage in which he lived as a kid before running away also understands Karma a whole damn lot and is careful with him despite his loud and cheerful behavior

In the first time Karma still kind of behaved like a servant, always trying to please the four and becoming incerdibly anxious when any of them showed signs of anger or annoyement bc of somthing.

It took some time to convince him that he can be himself and that they don't want him to behave like some servant.

Karma loves to see them all being caring and loving with each other. He only saw the twisted kind of "love" before which happened between Ace and some random strangers which came to the Mafia casino but the love of these four is something completley diffrent and feel comforting and safe and he feels at home

In the first time he didn't really wanted to get touched even tho he was really touch straved but by now he likes to cuddle with them, likes the head pats which Fyodor gives him occacionally and lets Nikolai carry him around on his shoulders

He loves the four pet rats of Fyodor, Sigma and Shibusawa and he is allowed to pet them, feed them and sometimes he is even allowed to take them out to play with them

He often spends a lot of time sitting in front of thier cage and watches them

Because they are a household with a bunch of very diffrent cultures mixed together (Fyodor is russian, Nikolai is ukrainian, Shibusawa is japanese and Sigma is most likely japanese too) Karma learns to cook a lot of diffrent meals from thier cultures

They teach him chess, self defense, how to wield a weapon correctly, diffrent card games and sewing too

Karma knows that they are all involved in very shady things (he isn't stupid after all) but he would never betray them

He actually feels safe with them

Sigma, Fyodor, Nikolai and Shibusawa never raised a kid before and especially not a heavily traumatized kid and it shows sometimes. They struggled a lot at first but by now they manage it pretty decent

Karma still has horrible nightmares about Ace sometimes and when he is too scared and shaken up to fall asleep again, they let him sleep in thier bed with them

Sigma always makes him hot chocolate, a calming tea or hot milk with honey when he can't sleep, makes himself a lavender tea too and sits with him in the kitchen and talks with him until the cups are empty and brings him to bed afterwards

Karma hates the little scars around his throat which were caused by the heavy thight metal collar which he had to wear and felt very insecure the first time so Shibusawa made him a beautyful scarf in Karma's favorite color and talking with them about it and getting help from them and after seeing Nikolai who has a big scar over his eye himself and never seemed to feel insecure about it, he slowly started to feel better about it

Bsd poly decay (+Shibusawa) headcanons pt.1

Pairings: Poly decay + Shibusawa (without Bram and Fukuichi)

Fluff, slice of life, hair braiding, a bit ooc ( I think)

Fyodor likes to braid hair but unfortunaly his hair is too short and to thin to braid it frequently so when he met Nikolai on the streets when they were teens, he started to braid Nikolai's hair everytime before they went to sleep.

They kept this habit even now as adults bc it calms and comforts both of them. Every evening they sit on the bed, Nikolai in front of Fyodor who braids his hair and the clown rants about events of the day while Fyodor listens.

After Sigma joined thier relationship, they included him into thier little "ritual" as a sign of affection and love. Now Sigma would sit with them on the bed in front of Nikolai who braids his hair while Fyodor braids Kolya's.

At first Sigma was worried that Nikolai would mess up his hair but after a short while he found it incredibly relaxing

After Shibusawa joined as the 4th and last partner, the three of them quickly included him in thier hair braiding chain

Sigma, who was now the one braiding Shibusawa's hair, quickly found joy in doing so because Shibu's hair is incredibly soft and fluffy

Shibusawa wouldn't talk as much as Nikolai and Sigma during this but he would relax completly at the feeling of the soft tugging at his hair and the sound of chatter behind him.

Sometimes they let Fyodor sit in front of Nikolai so he can braid his hair

On rare ocasions they watch TV instead of talking but Fyodor and Shibusawa always get bored in under 10 min. so one of them always starts to doze off ( ususally Shibusawa)

BONUS:

The hair braiding is kind of practical anyways bc Shibusawa,Sigma and Nikolai have all really long hair and if they don't tie it together in some way at least one of them always wakes up in pain at night since one of the others is lying on the long hair which is like everywhere.

BSD college!AU headcanons pt.2

Tws: Mentions of breakdown, crying, scars, unhealthy relationships with food, mentions of starving oneself, mentions of slamming ones head against a wall

Pairings: Soukoku, Shin Soukoku, Poly decay (+Shibusawa), Steincraft, (for now) one sided Bram/Lovecraft, Ranpoe, maybe developing Perfect crime trio/Mystery trio, Montcott, Higugin, Kunikatai, mentioned Rimlaine, platonic!Fyozai? Idk?

Obviously thier mental health isn't as fucked up as in canon

Shibusawa has three big scars over the right side of his face from a horrible accident and he always covers them up with tons of make up since he is terribly embarrassed of them and hates them. A perfect appearance is very important to him. After all, he studies fashion design

When Fyodor accidentally saw him without make-up, he didn't say something about the scars at first but Shibusawa panicked and was afraid that Fyodor wouldn't like him as much anymore, especially because Fyodor liked beautiful people so much and he thought of himself with scars visible as kind of ugly so Fyodor gently grabbed his face and told him that he still loved him very much and that he still thought of him as beautiful.

He then kissed each scar and layed his forehead against Shibusawa's afterwards. He didn't forced him to tell what happend, he probably could guess it already but he urged him a bit to tell Nikolai and Sigma too

When he told them, both were kind of shocked at first, Sigma hugged him thight and reassured him too that they didn't liked him any lesser now only because of some scars

Nikolai kissed him and also reassured him. He also told him that he himself also had obviously a scar in his face which he never tired to hide and the others weren't bothered by it at all

He also jokingly said that he and Shibusawa matched now because both had scars in thier faces

Dazai and Fyodor may piss each other off sometimes but they get along really well

They are really similar and love to talk about anything

They really enjoy thier talks and one can often see them literally giggling about stupid shit which one of them said

Thier boyfriends know that they aren't cheating on them but they don't really understand thier weird bond

They shouldn't get complelty separated or else they will most likely secretly miss thier best friend

Fyodor and Dazai know each other since they were young teens

Bram's first love was Lovecraft. They met as teens back in Ireland in Bram's hometown but they never got together/had the guts to confess and lost contact after Lovecraft had to go back to America.

When they met each other after years again at this college they had a bittersweet reunion. Bram is now in a wheelchair, sleeps more than needed to escape reality and is still in love with Lovecraft and Lovecraft is in a happy relationship with Steinbeck.

Dazai actually goes to therapy

Higuchi and Gin are one of the power couples at college but it took a while for them to get together.

They got together after Higuchi stayed at her dorm for a week because she was experiencing a lot of bi-panic and serval existence crises after she found out that Gin was a girl and Akutagawa's sister.

Gin and Tachihara are best friends. She can rant to him about anything and he was her main emotional support when she was feeling heartbroken because Higuchi loved Akutagawa for a long time while Gin loved her but she always comforted Higuchi after Aku shoved her away again

Kunikida is the only one besides Chuuya with a actually healthy sleeping schedule to which he sticks but sometimes he is way too anxious about something to sleep, most likely because some professors put too much pressure on him and expect too much of him, so he randomly started cooking small meals in these nights to calm down

Katai often wakes up then (if he slept and wasn't gaming again), talks to Kunikida about what is going on in his mind, comforts him, eats with him and then gently drags him back to bed again

Chuuya and Dazai often visit Verlaine and Verlaine's husband Arthur on weekends

Verlaine despises Dazai but Arthur is very kind to Dazai and is always making sure that Chuuya and Dazai are both okay when they stay at thier home

Arthur gently asking Verlaine to give Dazai a chance and the fact that Verlaine only wants that his little brother is happy are probably the only reasons why Verlaine hasn't attempted to strangle Dazai yet

Louisa often visits Lucy in the coffee shop in her free time and Lucy always makes her her favorite coffee or hot chocolate for free.

Lucy has memorized how Louisa and Atushi like thier coffee and hot chocolate but she wouldn't openly admit this

Nikolai once played the role of an slightly insane and slightly lovesick clown and he did it so well that some professors were concerned for his mental health

Nikolai is in fact okay. He just can act really really well. It has always been his dream to be an actor even when he was still living in the ukrainian streets as a young kid and he works hard to achieve this dream

Fyodor and Dazai make weird bets regularly

Shibusawa has a kind of unhealthy relationship with food caused by his fashion major

When ever he has to model for a task he starts to eat lesser but his boyfriends don't have any of this shit and kindly force him to eat enough

Shibusawa is allowed to help the theatre students with thier costumes and costume designs after Nikolai introduced him to his friends there

Nikolai is the best actor out of all the students

Chuuya thought Akutagawa how to make a perfect eyeliner wing during one of thier band meetings

Atushi is normally very strict with himself when it comes to college stuff and always comes to the lectures but when Akutagawa got sick he called in sick too and stayed with him until he was better again

Whenever Karma comes over to Fyodor, Nikolai, Sigma and Shibusawa and is completely overwhelmed with a subject because he doesn't understand the topics for the upcoming class test, Fyodor will always help him to study and explain him everything. When he can't because he is packed with work himself the others will do thier best to help him

Sigma is very good at maths but not if the problem is split up in very small steps like in the elementary school books so he once despaired because of elementary school math problems.

Nikolai saw it, wanted to help, looked at the problem, internally despaired too but didn't wanted to admit it and then proceeded to tell Karma that maths isn't important in life, that a bad grade isn't something terrible and that he should just do what makes him happy instead of stupid maths which earned him a smack on the head from Fyodor

Shibusawa suffers from overwhelming boredom often and had a breakdown because of it once after it wouldn't fade away for days, leaving him bedridden, depressed, unmotivated but also desperate to do something

It took all his willpower not to repeatedly slam his head against the walls and cry

He just cried instead and rambled about it to Fyodor while the russian held him

Fyodor and a few others who play orchestra instruments sometimes play pieces for the plays of the theater students and he does it happily

Fyodor is one of the best of the cellists and he plays the cello which such elegance and passion and it looks so simple when he does it that Nikolai always watches him in awe and then proceeds to tell everyone that this man is one of his boyfriends

When Fyodor goes out, which happens rarely, he often listens to music over his headphones. The most think that the kind of creepy looking man who is way too intelligent and seems to know everything only listen to dark classical music but that actually isn't true

Yes he mainly listens to classical music but he actually also often listens to Russian rock (often from the late 80s), the favorite songs of his boyfriends which include Lady Gaga songs, Vegas from Doja cat, IAMX songs and Disney songs and he also listenes to the ratatouille soundtrack regularly

Dazai and Fyodor are both in the chess club but only play against each other since the others don't want to play with them

Nikolai once visited them, played against a student, ate chess pieces and cheated because he had serval chess pieces in his sleeve which he kept placing on the board when the other wasnt looking and left again randomly

He is actually good at chess tho

Ranpo had a hard time figuring out if he liked Mushitaro romantically just like he loved Poe or if he was just very fond of him as a friend

He was acting like a complete moron in this time because he was so deep in thought all the time

Poly decay (+Shibusawa) - Taking care of Fyodor when he catches the flu

Tws: the flu, explicit descriptions of someone having the flu, slight mention of nightmares

They litarally have to wrestle Fyodor to bed. Otherwise he will continue working until he collapses

They care for him obviously but Sigma abruptly took the role of the one who stays with Fyodor on his bed side. The others wanted to stay too but Sigma needs them, especially Nikolai with his overcoat which let's him teleport around quickly, to get the supplies he needs

Fyodor hates being sick. He can't work, his weak boney body is in pain and he feels so dirty

He always feels so damn dirty if he's sick and not being able to shower makes it even worse

He can't sleep a lot due to his racing too intellegent mind which always keeps him wake

He tries to send Sigma and the others away, not waning them to get sick too but he fails each and everytime

Of course they get the flu after a few days too. Besides Shibusawa. His immortal dragon ass is immune to such mortal things

Sigma sits next to thier bed, helps Fyodor to change his nightgown/Pyjama, talks to him about lighthearted things to keep him from falling down the overthinking spiral, helps him to sit up to eat and drink, helps him getting up and walking if he needs to go to the bathroom, watches out that the fever doesn't get too high, gently wipes the hair who stickes to Fyodor's damp forehead out of his face and frequently places a cold wet towel on his forehead

Sometimes he just takes the towel and wipes his face really gently, tracing his facial features and also carefully rubs the wet towel over the inside of Fyodor's forearms too to lower the fever

He is really patient and caring the whole time, never leaving the bedside for more than a few minutes

Fyodor can't really do anything, not even read because his eyes are tearing up so much so he usually just wants that Sigma turns on thier playlist with classical music

Often he manages to fall asleep for a bit to this music while holding Sigma's hand

Nikolai and Shibusawa also often come to them, sit on the bed too and just chat a bit. Fyodor can't really speak due to his sore throat but he enjoys listening to his boyfriends talking

Nikolai often brings a bunch pillows for Fyodor so he can lie a big propped up so that he can breathe better and doesn't caught as much anymore

He also shoplifts all the medicine they need

Afterwards he just sits next to Fyodor on the bed, holds his hand, runs his hand through his black hair and caresses him a bit

When the fever gets so high that Fyodor gets the shivering fits, Shibusawa who always has a high body temprature holds him close, warming him a bit while Fyodor clinges to him

Nikolai always preforms small special magic shows only for them but especially for Fyodor then. He already did this back when they were teens on the streets when Fyodor got sick.

In the first few days where Fyodor is sick and the fever is very high, he kind of forbids the others to sleep in the same bed as him because he knows that he will most likely get horrible fever dreams and he is worried that he can't control crime and punishment in his weak state and that it will activate and kill his boyfriends because of how much the fever dreams terrfiy him

The others accept this and sleep on matresses in the bedroom.

He does,in fact, get horrible fever dreams where he starts tossing and turning around in the bed only to shoot up, breathing uneavenly and looking around anxiously

Often he does feel crime and punishment starting to activate in the moment where wakes up and where he shoots up but he has it under control in no time

Of course at least Nikolai who was already expecting it to happen wakes up, climbs into the bed and comforts him.

He knows about what Fyodor most likely dreamt and doesn't askes any questions which relives Fyodor since his voice is betraying and failing him these moments, showing openly how scared and shaken up he is

Nikolai then also waits patiently until Fyodor let's him touch him again and only then gently holds him and places gentle kisses on his head and forehead

When the other two catch the flu too, Fyodor is often feeling a bit better again so they lie with him in bed and Shibusawa takes care of them all (Which is a bunch of work considering Nikolai being all whiny about being sick and Sigma being anxious often) but he does it gladly, only wanting his boyfriends to feel better again quickly

The three basically sleep and cuddle the whole time while Shibusawa makes sure that nobody's fever gets too high, that they can breathe, take thier medicine, eat and drink, he cooks for them, takes care of thier pet rats, keeps the house clean, helps them with things like walking and changing clothes, watches out that none of them falls down a depressive/anxious/ovrthinking spiral and brushes/braides Nikolai's and Sigma's long hair on regulary

When they all feel better again, Fyodor takes a very long shower and is in the bathroom for longer than half an hour

Fyodor is always very thankful and even tho they all say that he doesn't need to give them anything since they only did what good boyfriends do, he buys them a small present

They all thank also Shibusawa and buy him a present, give him a lot of hugs and kisses and he doesn't have to do his part of the chores for the next week

Poly decay (+Shibusawa) dealing with Sigma's overworking

Tws: overworking, mentions of OCD/OCD compulsions, mentions of anxiety, unhealthy working habits

Probably ooc but idk.

I am in need of comfort. 🤡

This is just a bunch of hurt/comfort with very little hurt and very much comfort. Also I'm not trying to baby Sigma in any way.

When Sigma is overworking himself again, Nikolai is usually the one who notices first. Unlike Fyodor and Shibusawa who are often busy the whole day, he jumps from activity to activity and searches his boyfriends to pester them often. Due to this, he notices easily when Sigma is working too much and past his limits once again.

The casino manager gets irritated and pissed at the clown bc of the smallest things, urging him to leave his office. His hair is sticking up in all directions, his handwriting gets barley readable causing him to angrily scrunch up the paper and starting to rewrite everything again causing him to get even more frustrated and irritated, he often sits there holding his head up right with his free hand trying to memorize even more information about his costumers and his OCD often makes him cross out words only to write them again and again bc in his overworked state his anxiety and OCD get harder to control. Sometimes he will kneel on the floor once again, surrounded by tons and tons of papers scattered around him.

Nikolai will ask him a few times to stop working but Sigma refuses. After some time, Nikolai just gently takes the pencil out of his boyfriends hand despite his protests. After he simply throws the pencil into his overcoat (or out of the window) Sigma will start to give in, protests getting weaker and the Fatigue crashing down hard on him.

Nikolai is always worried about his boyfriend then but he's very gentle and kind, not making any hectic movements. Besides this he knows very well how to deal with an overworked person due to Fyodor overworking himself on weekly base.

The clown carefully picks up his manager who slumps down against him as soon as he lies safely in Nikolai's arms. Normally he would try to get out of Nikolai's grip, saying that this is humiliating and that he can walk on his own but right now he is just too tired to care. Besides this Nikolai is warm and being held like this makes him feel weirdly safe. He is still very tense though. Thoughts, worries and OCD racing in his mind but he still nealry falls asleep right there. Nikolai softly tells him to stay awake for now though.

The ukrainian man carefully carries his boyfriend out of his office, going to the bathroom and running a soothing lavender bubble bath for him. The warm water makes Sigma's body relax nearly immidiatly and it gets harder for him to keep his eyes open.

Sometimes he asks Nikolai, who walks around the bathroom getting and warming up towls and a fresh pyjama with the dryer to join him in the bathtub. Nikolai usually doesn't says no to this so Sigma shifts a bit in the tub so that the other can sit comfortably behind him. After he sat down, Sigma always leans back against him, feeling incredibly safe and comforted by the feeling of the warm water and his boyfriends warm body. Nikolai cuddles with him for a while, before massaging Sigma's tense back and his hand which hurts from all the writing. While doing so, he talks about litarally anything lighthearted which comes to his mind.

Afterwards he starts washing Sigma's long hair carefully and washes him. The first time they did this, Sigma was incredibly worried that Nikolai would get a thousands knots in his hair but the clown is surprisingly very skilled when it comes to taking care of long hair. During the whole time Nikolai often asks Sigma how he's feeling and what's going on in his mind, making sure that he isn't close to a panic spiral bc of his overthinking regarding his work.

If Nikolai isn't joining him in the tub for whatever reason, he will still sit next to it on a chair while chatting with Sigma and hold his hand, caressing it softly. Of course he will still do all the work like washing his hair for him. Sigma needs to fully relax after all.

Usually he will also always get him a glass of water with the help of his overcoat, knowing that Sigma most likley forgot to drink and eat.

Nikolai always thinks that Sigma looks like some magical angelic creature when he is half lying in the tub, the water making his skin shine a bit, his tired body covered by white purplish bubbles, eyes half closed and his beautiful long hair floating on top of the water.

After they finished bathing and the water already got cold, Nikolai dresses himself quickly, if he was in the tub too, helps Sigma out of the bathtub and hands him the warmed up towls and pyjamas. While Sigma dresses up, Nikolai gets everything he needs to treat Sigma's hurt and overworked hand. After he treated it, he leads Sigma to thier bedroom where Sigma immediatly flops down onto the bed. After telling him once again to stay awake a bit longer, he hurries to the kitchen to prepare something to eat and some tea.

While the tea is brewing, Nikolai goes to Fyodor and Shibusawa to inform them about the current situation. They normally don't keep such things as a secret from each other. Fyodor usually sighs before asking how Sigma is doing now. He can fully understand him. After all he is always overworking himself too. He then tells Nikolai that he will come over in a second. In this time Nikolai goes to Shibusawa who also asks worriedly how Sigma is doing now after receiving the information, cursing a bit internatly bc it happend again and goes to thier room with Nikolai.

By the time they arrive, Fyodor usually already made his way over to thier bedroom and is now lying next to Sigma. He holds Sigma close, plays a bit with his hair, rubs his back, plants small kisses all over his head and softly talks to him, asking him things like how he's feeling now, makes him a ton of compliments, asks the rethorical question why he did this again and reassures him that he understands him and that taking a break doesn't make him weak or lesser worthy of the casino and it's people. He keeps his voice down the whole time to avoid overwhelming Sigma with a lot of noise. If Sigma lets his guard down so much that he openly struggles to hold back tears because of the mess in his mind and the fear of doing any mistakes which would cause people at the casino to get angry at him, Fyodor holds him even closer, calms him down and gently wipes the tears which he can't hold back away.

Shibusawa gets into thier bed too, lies on Sigma's other side and hugs him too. Just like the others, it pains him to see Sigma like this and he wants to comfort Sigma the best he can in this time. Nikolai gets the warm meal and the tea which he prepared for Sigma with the overcoat. He also always gets him some cookies too, knowing how much he loves them. After he helped Sigma to sit up and handed him the food, he quickly feeds thier rats and climbs into the bed too.

As soon as Sigma finished eating and drinking, Nikolai, Fyodor and Shibusawa change into thier pyjamas too, Sigma quickly gets up to get his pills which he needs to fall asleep and Fyodor gets a movie. Usually Shibusawa and Fyodor aren't very fond of movies because they find the most of them boring due to them being able to tell everything which is going to happen but they still watch movies sometimes with thier boyfriends. As soon as the movie is on, they cuddle while Sigma finally manages to doze off. On other days Fyodor gets his cello and plays some pieces while the others lie comfortably in bed and listen and sometimes Sigma just wants that Fyodor reads something in russian to him. Usually Sigma then falls asleep in no time, unable to stay awake any longer due to the fatigue crashing down on him completely.

At the end of the day they all lie cuddled together in thier big bed, hidden under many white and purple soft blankets and pillows and sleep soundly.

He has a list with all thier preferences in clothings and always pays close attentions to what they like to wear and what makes them uncomfortable so he can avoid things that are unpleasesant for his lovers

Fyodor always wants to do thier hair. (Kind of canon with Shibusawa's hair anyways)

They have two pet rats

When Sigma comes home from the casino, completly overworked, stressed and struggling with his OCD, the others comfort him with cuddles,kisses, praise, jokes and let him rant as much as he needs before pampering him. Sometimes one of them prepares a warm bath for him and makes his favorite tea, sometimes Nikolai quickly shoplifts fresh cookies with his overcoat, sometimes they watch a movie while cuddling on bed together and Shibusawa always massages Sigma's chest which is thight aswell as aching due to all the anxiety and stress

Occasionally Fyodor plays cello for his partners and not rarley, Nikolai joins with playing the piano

Shibusawa plays the pipe organ ( Bc he is dramatic like that)

They play cards together very often. The loser has to do some chores.

Fyodor uses Nikolai and Shibu has human heaters bc Nikolai has naturally a high body temperature and Shibusawa is a dang dragon so of couse he's warm af

They all sleep in one big bed so it usually gets very chaotic at night

Nikolai kicks all the blankets out of the bed in deep sleep while Fyodor hogs all of them. Sigma gets them barley and has to scoot closer to Shibu for warmth

Fyodor chews of the others hair when he's in really deep sleep

They often wake up with completeley tangled legs, limps and hair

Fyodor is still new to recriving this much touch and affection from 3 diffrent persons and sometimes it overwhelms him which leads him to worrying about his ability activating. He gets better tho

They watch Disney movies together in the evening and Nikolai sings all the songs along very loudly. Sigma cried during serval death scenes and at the end of beauty and the beast, Shibusawa falls asleep after like 15 Minutes into the movie and Fyodor judges the decisions of every single character. They all enjoy the movie nights though. Especially bc of the cuddles and the snacks.

Sigma secretly likes to sing and dance to music in thier room or his office

Shibusawa listens to Queen

Fyodor told them all that he only listens to classical music and then proceeded to blast russian rock after moving together

Nikolai likes to dance with his lovers but he rarley slow dances with them. He likes to dance dramatic "slow dance" with them, twirls them and dances joyfully with them. ( He is calmer while dancing with Fyo, not wanting his bf to pass out due to his anemie)

Soft hand-, neck-; and headkisses are more common than kisses on the lips between them but they mean just as much

After Shibusawa joined thier relationship as last patner, Nikolai and Fyodor where worried that Sigma wouldn't accept Shibusawa or wouldn't get along with him but the two of them got along surprisingly well and both fell really hard for each other. Shibu likes to spoil Sigma and admires his special ability to memorize so much aswell as his innocene. He loves making him pretty clothes and seeing him happily twirl in front of the mirror.

They all share one Spotify playlist to which everyone can add something. They play it in the car.

Nikolai has made it his mission to add the worst things he can find to the list

Bernadette is playing in one moment and in the next moment CPR starts playing, causing Fyodor to nearly cause an accident

Shibusawa and Sigma may not understand russian or ukrainian perfectly but they love listening to Fyo and Koyla talking or ranting in thier languages.

When Sigma is unable to sleep, tossing and turning in thier bed overthinking and if the only other person who's awake is Fyodor, Fyo will ask him to come over to him, places his head in his lap or on his chest and he will read to him in russian. Listening to his calming voice, the language and his heartbeat has Sigma sleeping in no time and calms his anxiety

Bsd Mystery Trio as detectives in the late 1870s-1880s AU

First of all, this isn't proofread. My attention span got cut short.

I had this idea for a few weeks already caused by this playlist right here.

Just imagine, Ranpo, Poe and Mushitaro living in a town in the late 1870s-1880s. (Timeline in which the Sherlock Holmes books take place) Ranpo works as a eccentric private detective with a huge ego but there actually isn't a single case which he couldn't solve. He only takes cases which truly interest him and which he views as worthy. He lives in a small flat with Poe and Mushitaro.

Edgar Allen Poe works in the towns biggest library but he always had a special talent for solving cases. He wanted to become a famous detective in the past but after he had to join the army for a few years (The real E.A.Poe had to join the army for a few years and BSD Poe was shown as a sniper in one of the chapters of the DOA manga arc), he seeked a peaceful life, so he choosed a work where he could live out his other passion a bit; books. He worked in the library for a few years but then he met Ranpo.

Poe instantly fell for the quite special man but wouldn't admit that he fell so fast, not even now. Ranpo would be lying if he would say that he also didn't took an interest in the mysterious shy librarian the moment he saw him. Bc Ranpo had been working on a pretty hard case and didn't had any assistans who could go to the library to gather informations for him so he had to go himself and he did it frequently. After some time he started to stay longer than needed just to observe the librarian who always covered his eyes with his dark brown curly hair. After a few visits, Ranpo kind of had an idea about the history of the man. His kind of muscular statue, the position of his fingers when he relaxed his hand,.. he had to be a sniper in the military years ago. He was sure about this but his anxious and jumpy behavior gave away that he most likely didn't took these years too well. Despite having figured out so much about him, he was still pretty interesting for the detective. One day he saw how Poe was able to detect who of the other employees stole one of the rarer books. It wasn't the most impressive thing but it was still kind of rare for a normal librarian to solve a theft in only a few minutes. Normally Ranpo hated working together with others because he viewed them all as incompetent or too slow, his old childhood friend Yosano who worked as a doctor and who had often helped him analysing victims of murder was the only exception though, but something in him was amazed and wanted to get to know this man. Having an assistant who works in the towns biggest library is also something that can come in handy when working as a detective. Or, that's what he told himself.

One rainy evening where he was staying in the library for the case and nearly nobody was left besides him and Poe, he called him to his table, asking him for his opinion on some clues and the case. Poe was confused as hell and chaught of guard for a moment that this one costumer just randomly asked him such a weird question but he quickly collected himself and gave his opinons and ideas. To Ranpo's surprise, Poe was good. Really good. He analysed everything so quickly and had some ideas or found some clues that even Ranpo, the great detective himself, had missed. At first his ego was a bit hurt but somehow he couldn't talk the other down with sentences like " Yeah yeah good. Nothing what a normal commoner couldn't answer too". The way how Poe was analysing the given information so quickly and, he was scanning the papers with so much energy and how he looked in the soft candle light made Ranpo feel things he hasn't felt before. Poe felt that Ranpoe was staring at him and he quickly stopped his rambling and apologized nervously for talking so much and getting carried away. Before Poe could leave and probably dissapear for weeks drowning in embarrasment, Ranpo quickly told him that he was testing him if he was worthy of being his assistant and that he indeed pass the test. Long story short. Poe ended up moving into Ranpo's flat, assisting him in all the next cases. Of course there was some jealousy on Poe's side at first after finding out how good and popular the detective was in truth but they sorted it all out. Poe continued with his work at the libary too so they could always habe acccess every book and informations they could possibly need. After one year of being detecive partners, they got together in a romatic way too but kept it a secret for many reasons. (Homophobia in that time, enemy's could use this information for horrible things,etc.)

One time they were working on a case which lead them to meeting Mushitaro. A heavily traumatized criminal who lived among the normal commoners and tried to escape his past as a criminal. Of course his past wasn't a secret for long when Ranpo and Poe where the ones who were solving the case. Especially not if so many clues lead to him. He was a master at hiding and destorying any clues though and made the two have a hard time figuring everything out. After facing him with everything they found out Poe was able to sympathize with him somehow and convinced his boyfriend to not hand him over to the police immediatley. Poe was more sensitive than Ranpo could ever be but he never stopped him from handing over criminals to the police. He often felt a bit sorry for some of them but he knew they deserved it. This one was diffrent though. Instead of a criminal he saw a man who commited a crime to which he got forced after falling into the wrong social circles and who was so utterly broken that his own heart ached. He saw that the Mushitaro had tried so hard to erase his past but of course things like this never worked out. He didn't know why exactly he stopped Ranpo from calling the inspector but he did it and convinced him to give Mushitaro a choice. Either they would call the inspector and he had to face punishment or he would work with them. It all seemed ridiculous to Ranpo and Mushitaro but in the end he moved in with them. Ranpo was extremly sceptical of the ex-criminal but after half a year in which Ranpo could really make sure with his deducion that Mushitaro was harmless and wouldn't betray them, he accepted him fully in the household. Besides this, it was really useful to have an ex-criminal who was a master of hiding any clues and practically making them dissapear for years as a assistant. Like this, they were able to solve a lot cases even faster.

Eventually they formed a loving relationship between all three of them even though Mushitaro exclaimed often that his flatmates made him lose all his braincells. They grew fond of each other and started to work together extremly well. Ranpo had the role of the brain of the group the most of the time. He was the one who made the decision of which case they would accept and which wasn't worthy and he was the one who spended the whole day on his desk, thinking about the case and trying to solve it while consuming more sweets than any child in the town. Poe was out of the house the most of the day, working in the libary or buying groceries or other necessary things like Ranpo's sweets and brining home new informations. Mushitaro usually stayed at home with Ranpo. His trauma often made him weak and bedridden causing Yosano to come over regulary to check how he was doing. She was the only one besides Poe and Ranpo who knew about his past as a criminal but she tolerated him after threating him to cut of his limbs if he should betray or hurt Ranpo or Poe and after scolding the two for letting a criminal stay at thier home. On some other days Mushitaro went out until evening because the house seemed sufficating for him but he was always aviable if Ranpo needed the thoughts of a person who had knowledge about the shady side of the town regarding a new case. In general it was also Mushitaro's job to scold Ranpo for his unhealthy eating habits and for Ranpo and Poe being reckless in some cases.

I had to cut the post short so I could mention every character for which I had a special idea. Here's the rest of the AU idea in short.

Later they accept two cases of two missing young men who dissapeared over night. The cases seem to be interwinted with each other even though the boys are so diffrent that thinking the cases would belong together seems ridiculous.

Roles of the others:

Chuuya as missing person no.1 who worked normally in the bakery of his brother Paul Verlaine and his "close friend" Arthur Rimbaud and is Dazai's secrety boyfriend since shortly he fished him out of the river and dragged him to the bakery, forced him to eat fresh pastery and drink hot coffee to prevent him from freezing to death or passing out aswell as letting him stay over night. Eventually Dazai sneaked out at night more and more to meet Chuuya in the town since he isn't allowed to hang out with commoners. Eventually the got together. He is also the only one who knows about how terrible Mori abuses him. Chuuya is also very strong just like his brother and isn't afraid of rich people.

Dazai Osamu as the oldest of the three kids of Mori Ougai who is the second missing person. He is very suicidial because of his father's abuse and medical experiments on him. After his father figure the houseteacher Oda got shot he completley let himself go down until he met the hot tempered red head who saved his life on thier first meeting. He is very intellegent, a bit too intellegent and loves his siblings.

Mori Ougai as one of the richest men in town and a militairy doctor who lives with his three kids (every kid from a diffrent women) in a big mainson. He only cares for his daughter Elise in a very quesionable way. He abuses the other two in very diffrent ways.

Elise Ougai who is a devil in angel disguise but who cares about her two siblings. She is intellegent just like Dazai and is able to manipulate Mori to her own liking. She managed to sneak out Yumeno and herself out of the Maison to ask the three detecitves for help after her brother Dazai dissapeared over night. He does this frequently but bc he fears the anger of his father if he would find out that he sneaks out at night he is always back in the morning. When he doesn't come back, Elise starts to worry.

Yumeno Kyusaku as the youngest of Mori's children. Mori views them as cursed child bc they decline the male and female gender for themself and because the have an interest in obscure things so Mori usually lockes them in thier room. They care a lot about Dazai. They may be more sensitive than Elise but they are still a little Devil.

Paul Verlaine as the calm, collected, strong and tough bakery owner and big brother of Chuuya who came from France with Chuuya and his husband close friend Arthur Rimbaud after he served his time at the military to open up a bakery. He looses all his calm after his brother dissapears and begs the detecitves to find his brother again,

Yosano Akiko as one of the few female doctors who is Ranpo's childhood friend, who helps him with inspecting victims of murder, who faces all the hate she gets as a female doctor and stays strong and who is horribly in love with the rich woman Koyo.

Fyodor Dostoevsky as neighbor of the Mystery Trio. He comes from russia and lives together with his boyfriends Nikolai Gogol, Shibusawa Tatsuhiko and Sigma and a very intellegent yet shady man. He is rarley seen on the streets. He is pale as a corpse, sickishly boney, fragile and has pitch black hair but there is something hauntingly beautiful and elegant yet intimitading about him. Poe still can't understand how people like Gogol or Sigma managed to sneak his way into his heart. Ranpo is sure that Fyodor is involved in multiple illegal activities but he has no proof. Fyodor also seems to be friends with Dazai but it's unknowns how they even met. He and Nikolai know creepily much about the underground of the town.

Nikolai as boyfriend of Fyodor,Sigma and Shibusawa and professional magican and clown who works at the local theater and occasionally works at the circus. The ukrainian is amazing with magic tricks and even Ranpo sometimes struggles with figuring out how he did some of the tricks. He is cheerful and friendly aswell as outgoing and energetic but he seems to have a shady past.

Sigma as casino manager who got freed from criminals who captured him. He keeps it a secret from anyone besides his boyfriends who freed him anyways. He is one of the most beautiful, kindest, gentlest and most understanding person of the town which is why a lot already fell in love with him. It's a wonder for many that he kindly rejected every person who confessed to him and keeps living with such shady people like Fyodor. Little do they know that Sigma loves them all very much and that they are in truth kind loving and caring. Because he is always with a lot people and can memorize a lot he knows a lot about everyone and is always willing to help out if needed. He also sufferes from heavy panic attacks and overthinking.

Shibusawa as the towns tailor who is also very intellegent and who collects shiny things. He did taunt Ranpo on the streets for diffrent reasons somethimes. He is a very very pretty man with clear pale white skin like the one of a porclain doll but he can be just as scary and intimidiating as pretty. His clothes are known even outside of the town for thier quality and for his neat but fast detail loving work.

Jouno and Tecchou as police men who Ranpo hates working with. Jouno was secretly a criminal like Mushitaro but he started working for the police after getting captured. He and Tecchou are basically glued together even though Jouno always says that he hates the man. Some people think of Jouno as unsuited for a police man since he is blind but they only say such things until he points his gun perfectly aimed onto thier head. Tecchou always has to stop him from scaring people.

I probably have more character ideas but the post got longer and longer and I think I have to cut it here.
