On Thursday, August 24th, a 21-year old pregnant woman was accused by a Kroger employee of stealing liquor in Ohio. The cops that went after her shot and killed her as well as her unborn child.

Accused means guilty, not responding how the cops want means resisting, trying to flee cops means trying to kill the cop, and guilty of a crime means that your death is warranted. Two lives lost over some booze. Absolutely inexcusable. And forever fuck that rat ass Kroger employee. I hope your name comes out too.

I hope Ta’Kiya Young’s family finds peace, or support and comradery through their rage.

The body cam footage won’t be out until Monday and it’s unclear due to pig protection laws when or if the killers’ names will be made known. Keep one another safe.

According to the Washington Post’s comprehensive database of police killings, police shot and killed 54 unarmed people in 2019, 26 were listed as white, 12 black, 11 Hispanic, and 5 “other.”

It’s also important to note that the majority of the twelve shot were actively trying to hurt or kill the officer. For example, in at least two of the twelve cases involving black men, the perpetrators were killed while trying to run over an officer with a car. In another, an individual took and used the officer’s taser on him. In another, a female officer was being physically beaten by a suspect when she fired. All those cases were classified as “unarmed.”

“Unarmed” never means “not deadly.” There is always a gun involved—the officer’s. In many encounters, the suspect is fighting to get ahold of it. In the Ferguson case, it was claimed that Michael Brown had his hands up when Officer Darren Wilson shot him, in cold blood, in the middle of the street. Upon investigation, the forensic evidence as well as a half-dozen black witnesses confirmed Officer Wilson’s account. Michael Brown tried to take Officer Wilson’s gun and was charging at him when shot. The “Hands up, don’t shoot!’ slogan was a lie.

Actual unarmed, unjustified killings are extremely rare; in the low single digits.

In reality, when you remove those cases from the data, you're left with one or two. One or two cases every year, out of a country of 350 million some odd people. One or two cases. That's what Black Lives Matter is focusing on. They have things to say about just about everything except the 7000 to 8000 homicides per year of young black Americans.

It Keeps Happening. This Time In Colorado. A 14-Year-Old Boy. Held Down. Pinned To The Ground, Then Shot Dead!

The bodycam footage showing an officer’s fatal shooting of a 14-year-old boy in the Denver suburb of Aurora, Colorado, has been released.

The footage shows members of the Aurora Police Department chasing 14-year-old Jor’Dell Richardson last week after he ran from police while officers were investigating suspicious activity on June 1, according to The Denver Post. 

Jor’Dell was shot in the stomach following the foot chase when the officers thought he had a handgun.

The video shows Officers Roch Gruszeczka and James Snapp in a squad car pulling up to a convenience store. They saw a group of teenagers wearing hoodies and medical masks running out. When they saw the scene, Gruszeczka said, “They just shoplifted out of there. I’m going to light them up.”

Both Snapp and Gruszeczka pull over and begin chasing Jor’Dell. On Snapp’s bodyworn camera, he is seen chasing Jor’Dell into an alley and yelling, “Get on the ground you f–king idiot!” before tackling him to the ground.

Once Snapp pins Jor’Dell to the ground, Jor’Dell is heard yelling, “Stop, please! You got me!”

Gruszeczka, who followed both Snapp and Jor’Dell into the alley, spotted a gun and yelled, “Gun! Gun! Let go of the f–king gun! I’m going to shoot your a–! Dude, I’m going to shoot you!” all while Jor’Dell is pinned to the ground.

Just seconds later, Gruszeczka shoots Jor’Dell. Jor’Dell is screaming after the shot is fired and yelling, “I’m sorry! I’m done! Help me. Take me to the hospital! I can’t breathe! Help!”
