Soo I just saw you're headcannons are literally 💞💞
It's lowkey the only thing keeping me safe and alive ✋😌......soooooo can I request Gom + kuroko and kagami (if it's to much you can just doo Aomine, Kise and Midorima and akashi)where they accidentally hurt their s/o feelings pleaaseeeeee..... I need some angst but please end it in fluff (cuz i lowkey cannot handle it)
Please take care of yourself, your health always comes first, I love youuuu ❤❤❤
Ofc love! I hope you're doing well and I love you too :) <333
Akashi
He disregarded your hard work :(
You're trying to start your own small business and you're having a little trouble, which is not unusual that happens sometimes!
You were having trouble hiring employees and you were talking to him about it, and he was in a bad mood prior to you approaching him
"You're not going anywhere with this. It would just be better to give up on it. You're not going to make it that far even if you do succeed. And can you leave? I'm busy and all you're doing is acting as a distraction."
You just froze, you couldn't believe what he had just said
Not only did he know how much work you were putting in, he also knew how excited you were for the future of your shop too
You didn't even say anything, you just froze with shock, hurt, and surprise and stomped out of his office
You left the house, you needed some time to cool off and cry
It took Akashi a second to realize what he had said and how hurtful his words were, so he started looking all over for you in the house. He goes into the garage to see your car is gone and he assumes the worst.
You don't pick up the phone when he calls you or answer his texts, opting to turn it off after the fifth call.
You stay by your best friend for the night and they comforted you and told you he probably didn't mean it, and that you can stay as long as you need
After you leave from by your friends place you go to your favorite cafe for some breakfast
And guess who's there, Akashi.
You turn around and walk out because you were honestly not ready to deal with him just yet and it was too early in the morning for all that
He catches you on the way out and apologizes :)
"Love, I apologize for what I said yesterday. It was inconsiderate, hurtful, and wrong. You've been working so hard on your business and you're doing your best to make it happen. I was in a bad mood yesterday and I dont know what came over me. Will you forgive me?"
Looking you in the eye as he spoke every word, holding your hands and rubbing them, you know he was truly sorry and wants to fix what he did.
"I forgive you Sei, but what you said was really hurtful. You know how much this means to me and how much work I've been putting in. But I do forgive you."
He takes you out to eat at your favorite restaurant and watch a movie afterwards back at home, kisses you tons and holds you in his arms when you fall asleep.
He also puts in a good word with his work associates about your business and you gain more employees and popularity! But unless you want to do it completely on your own he's there supporting you every step of the way and giving you advice :)
Midorima
He acts like your affection is kryptonite, even though you're not a clingy or overly-affectionate person
You guys had been together for about 3-4 months
He always brushes you off even at the most simplest acts of affections, you're starting to really question if he even wants to be together.
Well this particular time he embarrassed you in front of the team :/
There was a break in between practice and you went to give him his water bottle and give him a hug
"Hey Shin he's your water bottle, don't work yourself too hard okay?"
After that you went in for a quick hug but he held a hand against your chest and glared at you
"Why are you always so clingy? You're always on me and its annoying. Can you just leave me alone or leave?"
He said that right in the middle of the court, everyone's eyes were on you and you felt embarrassed.
"...alright."
That's all you after said you shoved the water bottle into his hand and walked out of the gym.
Takao was the one to call him out on his behavior and tell him that he was being rude and that he should apologize
Midorima took that advice and after practice, he went to find you and apologize, except you weren't anywhere he checked or thought you would be
You avoided him for 3 days straight until he arrived at your house unannounced
Your lucky item in his hand, he gives you a well deserved apology
"Y/N I- I'm sorry that I was being rude to you. There was no reason for me to act like that and I haven't been appreciating you like I should. That was rude of me and I hope you except my apology. Also- this is your uh lucky item."
He hands you a plushie :)
He gives you hugs and reassures you that he appreciates your affections despite him not being used to it!
He also got an extra lap at practice from Miyaji lol but he decided not to tell you that part
Kise
Is very busy and it's sometimes hard to make time for you :(
And you also couldn't show him affection in public or be around him because his fangirls would throw a hissy fit
He hasn't been answering his phone and he can't really get that close to you at school so you've been feeling left behind
When you finally managed to catch him, you said you wanted to go out and just catch up because you two haven't spent much time together and he agreed
However Kise forgot about the plans and you were waiting at the restaurant, alone.
You went home that night upset, tired, and wondering if you even want to be in a relationship anymore
You stopped texting him and talking to talk to him at school, not that you even had that much time to talk to him and school anyway
Kise had realised a whole day later that he had forgotten about the plans you two had made together
He took off from work the whole week, even though his manager was mad about it and went off to find you
He found you at a park after school and approached you with flowers in his hand
"Y/N baby I'm so sorry I forgot about our date. I can't imagine how you must've felt and to make up for it I called the whole week off! I'm really, really sorry that I havent had time for you. Do you forgive me?"
"Yeah, I forgive you Kise I'm just really hurt that you stood me up. You knew we hadn't spent alot of time together and I was really hoping to catch up with you that night. But I'm just happy you're here."
He takes you to a concert! Your favorite artist was in town and he bought tickets for the two of you!
The whole week was filled with fun, love, and lots of conversations :)
He promises to make more time for you and be there for you whenever he can!
He also posts you on his socials and shows you affection at school, showing his fangirls that he's not for them, but for you and they can go away of they don't like that
Aomine
You feel like he doesn't put any effort into the relationship
It's always you doing everything, it just gets tiring
He doesn't really make an effort to do anything, like plan dates, hang out, or just spend time together
He also uses basketball as an excuse to not hang out with you when you already know he's not at practice
Like if you want alone time man just say that
So you had planned a date for you two, nothing big just going to the movie theaters yk
He cancelled last minute, saying Imayoshi was forcing him to come to practice
It was a sunday, they don't have practice in sunday
You talked to Momoi as she is a close friend of yours too, about how you feel like you're the only one making an effort and that you feel like he doesn't want to spend time with you
She tells you to confront him about it, so you do
The next time Daiki comes to your house you ask him about it
"It just feels like I'm the only one putting work into the relationship and I feel like you're avoiding me. You make up excuses to not be with me and bail on me last minute...do you even want to be with me? And if you do want alone time just be upfront about it, don't give me terrible excuses or flake out on me."
Aomine honestly didn't know you felt that way
Now that he looks back at it, it has been mainly you doing most of the stuff in the relationship, and he can see why you feel like it's only you trying
"You're right, it has been mainly you doing stuff for both of us. I'm gonna start putting in more effort because it's time I do. I'm sorry that I've been making shitty excuses to not hang out with you, and cancelling all of a sudden. I'll be honest when I don't feel like going out and I'll spend more time with you."
He makes it up to you by taking you to a festival and going to see a movie with you
True to his word, he starts putting more effort into y'alls relationship and you two take turns planning dates
And if he doesn't feel like going out you guys have at home dates instead :)
I know this took a little longer than usual, I'm sorry for the little setback. Hopefully you like them! Thank you for requesting and feedback is appreciated! Love you <333

phonetics ; kagami taiga
pairing: kagami taiga x f!reader
wc: 2.2k
synopsis: there’s something about three syllable sentences that worm their way into your heart.
featuring; minor unrequited love, grammar, other girls that aren’t you, bad characterization, a whole lot of being dumb, and a happy ending
-> i wrote this in two hours during my peer tutoring class please don’t murder me; i saw .5 seconds of him during the netflix trailer and busted the phattest emotional nut
This is how your story begins
You’re five and on the top of a slide, it’s sticky with sweat and electric on your skin but you can’t go down, not yet. There is no way you’re going to give the kid behind you the satisfaction, not until he says please.
“Say. it.” you demand, your hands gripping the side of the slide tighter. the space between his eyebrows scrunch together, like an inchworm, the type you learned about in class only a few days ago. “just say it. it’s not that hard. only one syllable.”
Your mother would scold you for that sass, but she’s too far away to hear and quite frankly too far to see your current predicament.
“No. see, that’s one syllable.”
And yes you know that violence is never the way, (that’s also what you learned about at your school, the same day as the inchworms), and that maybe there is a verbal way to resolve this agreement, but the thing is, your five year old brain is tired of using words. and so this is the part where you resort to fists, tiny fingers that gripped the side of the slide ball up slowly and then.
The sky is down. down? and no your hands aren’t on the slide they’re trying to brace your fall from down the slide and all you can see is a muddled red face before you hit the ground crying.
→
Here’s the thing about parks, technically, technically, their public property. So that means, technically, technically, just about anyone can show up and play. It’s terrible. It’s especially terrible when the only person on the playground to play with is also the one that pushed down the slide (quite aggressively! you might add) only a week ago. If there was ever any violent tendencies that lay dormant in those tiny hands of yours they might as well have been awakened.
But instead of fighting, or attempting to fight, someone who looks like they could be the kids mother ushers said kid in your direction.
and instead of a “No.” being spit in your direction you get an,
“I’m sorry. Three syllables, see. I said it.”
and a hesitant hug, awkward and gangly.
And so it begins.
→
“If you’re going to be stupid like this I’m going to stop showing up.” you sigh, taking a seat on the bench, cringing at the scent of sweat and rubber. Beside you, a messy bundle of red hair lays splayed on the hard metal, a rough hand wiping the sweat out of his face. “Hello, is Kagami home? Or do I really have to stop showing up till you remember you need me. ”
A groan leaves his chapped lips and an arm extends across your lap. “ Did you bring it at least?”
You surrender the plastic bag, watching the steam rising from his body melt the ice. It’s disgustingly sensual and for a split second you can almost imagine what the girls interested in him think. Unfortunately they’ve never seen him like you have, bloody noses and sweat, black stains from the court staining his dirty clothes, and just going through middle school in general. It sends shivers up your arms. Gross. He pushes himself backwards, lifting his head up onto the hem of your skirt.
“You’re just so sweaty, all the time.” you sigh, wiping a handkerchief across his forehead.
The sight of the two of you is one to behold.
It’s always been to Kagami at least, which is a surprise considering that the only things he really cares to look at anymore is game highlights and illicit magazines that he really only gets away with buying because of his height. To be fair it’s not like he really reads the magazines anyway, not without getting distracted, not without the guilt that comes with thinking of you, during, ah, certain periods of time. He’s gross, he knows, and here you are, walking a mile in the summer heat because his ankle was too dead to get ice and there’s no one to watch #2 if he leaves. (fucking Kuroko he swears)
He can see the soft outline of your jaw like this, laying down. He can see the way your tongue casually glosses over your lips and and the way it seems like you're blinking in slow motion, he can see your lashes gently brush your face when you blink. It’s a goddamn sickness.
Now usually, when this happens, when this wave of amorous nausea fills his head he does what he’s best at, absolutely destroying the court. But in the few steam filled moments between his attempt to get up and realizing he has to get up or he might vomit hearts all over the floor, you’ve already pressed the palm of your hand into his shoulder.
“Don’t think you can get up, stupid. Your ankle looks like a purple yam for goodness sakes. Gross. ”
He’ll hold onto the spare bit of affection in your words till you give him more, which you will, because you’re like this. Stubborn and loving, and always seemingly annoyed with him. He won’t mind, he never does.
→
It’s not until the end of third year that he realizes he does, he does mind. He minds all the damn time now.
“Don’t complain now that I’m not giving you all my attention,” you had scolded, “You’re the one with a girlfriend Ka-chan.”
“You don’t even bring me ice anymore!”
A shitty retort indeed but, true nonetheless.
“Kagami,” you had warned, “It might not be a great idea for me to bring you stuff anymore. Think about your girlfriend! How is she going to feel, another woman bringing her boyfriend what he needs.”
There was no response back this time. In his defense, Lisa hated the smell of basketball, “it sticks to you!”
Which he thought she might’ve considered before confessing but, semantics. There was nothing wrong with Lisa, she might’ve been everything he looked for in a woman. Hot, decently smart, very, very good looking on his arm, and she loved the attention too. Except her lips were too sticky, and she hated the smell of the gym, and he could go on and on making up petty excuses because she wasn’t the one who demanded that he say “please” on the playground.
(He’s just picky!) His brain argues!
It takes three more girls until he realizes they’re not you.
→
There is a brief moment in time where you fall for Kagami Taiga. There is a moment so small it slivers past you in the form of iced plastic bags and steaming windows in the gym. But the moment isn’t so small that no one around you notices. It isn’t so small when your best friend goes through three different girlfriends in a moment that doesn’t even make it through a set of nails. Not one nail chips.
It’s an odd moment. Only, at the end of this moment, there is no return to normalcy, there is no getting over it, there is another one waiting for you to leave those chipped nails and iced plastic bags behind.
It starts with praise and glimmer pop of jealousy.
“Absolutely not.”
“ You can’t argue an opinion you can’t even have, Taiga.” It comes out nastier than you want and you kick yourself for it. He catches it, the grimace waiting on your face and the quiver in your eye. The two of you are waning, stuck to your respective places in his living room, movie paused. There is a chance you will cry, but a more realistic chance that this will end in useless fight, that the aching silence between the two of you will become your shield against a barrage of his angry glares.
This might be the only chance you ever feel what it’s like when he’s in the zone, except you're not a five man team (with subs) , you’re a teenage girl with goddamn feelings. It’s the playground all over again, but this time you won’t be pushed.
“He’s a fucking player.” his voice raises at the end and the tense in your calf sharpens. “He’s a disgusting shitty haired player, how are you being so stupid right now?”
By the time he’s done he’s yelling. The two of you have argued sure, but never... not like this.
“I’m allowed to be dumb sometimes!” you breathe, “ Look at you Taiga, how you are not the same as him? It takes you weeks, days, to get a new girl. How in the world are you even qualified to be talking to me about this.”
It takes half a second for his eyes to narrow, sharper than his looks and for a moment you stagger back. It takes even less time for you to grab your bag and leave.
You’re not angry, not for the right reason. This boyfriend is going to end in heartbreak, it’s a given, even Kagami knows this. But you can’t help yourself, this might only be a blip in time, it won’t matter in a year right? It won’t matter when Kagami finds himself wrapped around another girl, too busy to even remember what day of the week it is.
And it kills you.
You’re killing him.
There is never a moment where everything is clear, unless he’s playing one on one, but this isn’t him versus you. This is him versus himself, a freaky nightmare he only dreamt about in middle school; and you’re not someone he wins by dunking on. It’s the type of win where he has to lose a little bit of something too. The type of win that he’s been avoiding.
→
Your house has been the same for years, flower boxes on the front porch, a few twigs on the lawn, less than a thousand steps from his own place, somewhere he could sleep walk to. It’s never bothered you, he was your best friend, how could you complain about living so close?
Well, you’re complaining now.
“I’m sorry.”
His eyes are drilling into the ground, fingers fidgeting like a boy, like a child who’s never had to say sorry before. Even so, you love him, so you relent, allowing yourself to lean on the doorway, absolutely oozing casually (ty?) (ness?) You can’t think.
“Three syllables. Thanks.”
The visible sigh of relief warms your achy breaky heart and absolutely tears into your soul. The grip on your heart he holds falls loose, unveiling the mismatched pieces that you’ve been forcing together for years. And for a moment you feel weak to it.
“ You should,” he starts, gnawing on his bottom lips this time, “be with who you want. So, I’m sorry.”
It’s exasperating, but even if it is, Kagami Taiga is the most stubborn man you know so these words no doubt are being pulled out like teeth and you love him all the same.
To Kagami’s surprise (and disappointment), a year later you are still quite in love with the man you call your boyfriend. But to his own sick delight, the two of you are fighting (again).
“So you’re here.”
You nod, pushing the door to his bedroom open and slipping yourself under his covers. If he was anyone but himself he might’ve looked down, seen what was going on and promptly collapsed onto his knees. But, willpower is a strong suite of his (thank god), so he takes a seat on the foot of the bed.
“ Kagami, you can say it.” you mumble from beneath his covers. At your words his eyebrows scrunch and his knuckles tighten around the blanket. You’re not provoking him, just asking for the honesty he carries on his shoulders.
“Ah, well.”
You shift the blanket off, propping yourself against the headboard. It’s only then that he can see the old tear tracks down your face.
“ I’m glad you’re here ya know. With me. Here.”
The last part is a whisper, one you catch.
One you can only sigh with.
“ You can’t say that Kagami.”
“It’s true.”
It feels like a lifetime has passed by the time you gather the courage to look up at him, up at those deep red eyes that give away every emotion that passes through him. You don’t think can hurt you, not anymore than he has. Not with the hands that have held you up and stuck bandages on your knees and not with the heart that cared for you so deeply. He wouldn’t dare.
But the sun is setting between the two of you, and the radiant glow only illuminates your features. You have to remember that he is only man, only human, and humans are easily seduced into stupid things by the sun.
“ I love you.”
The delicate words aren’t voluntary, nor are they forced. It’s the space inbetween that pushes someone in the right direction, whether they know it or not.
“ Three syllables Taiga.”
He watches you untangle yourself from the bed and take your place beside him. Carefully, he drops his hand in your lap, palms up and clammy. Slowly, you place your hand in his, taking up the space between his fingers.
“Four syllables. That’s what you get.” you shake, squeezing his fingers.
It takes him about two seconds to understand what you mean.
And he does.

Five times (Kuroko x Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media
I do not own the gif.
Please feel free to ask for Imagines, preferences, and scenarios, I don’t mind and I will be more than happy to oblige to your requests.
Have a wonderful end of the month of December, whatever it is that you are celebrating.
The boys and Riko were used to see you wait until practice ended so that you could walk back home with Kuroko. Sometimes they would catch the both of you drinking milkshakes at Maji Burger. But sometimes, Kuroko wished that they would get the message.
1- When you were walking his dog.
The practice had lasted longer than Riko had intended it too.  The boys were being brats all practice long and she really just wanted to tiered them out for the form. Kagami had been complaining about the overwork they were doing, resulting in getting him much more circuits than the others. Hyuuga's patience was getting dangerously low as each minute passed by and Riko wasn't doing much better than he was. Izumi was doing the honors of being on everybody's nerves. Kuroko, on his side, was slowly getting discouraged. His batteries were running short, he wanted to go home.
A bark resounded in the gymnasium, making everyone turn their head searching for the source of the sound. Nigou was sitting close to the bench, the one that was closest to the exit. A light blue collar matching his innocent puppy eyes, attached to a leash sharing its color, that was ending between the hand of a small cute girl who owned the most dazzling smile.
''Ah! (Last name)-chan, good evening!'' Shouted Riko as she raised a hand up to greet you.
You responded by a shy smile and small wave, which was soon followed by Nigou's bark once more.
''Practice is almost done. Are you waiting for someone?'' She asks.
You shrug, of course, you were, but it didn't really matter because you had to go and get some food at the grocery store anyway.
''Take your time, don’t worry about me.'' You reassured her. If you knew one thing, it was not to press Riko into something. You smiled once more toward the team and sat on the bench to wait until their practice ended.
Kuroko was quick to change and get back to you and his dog. Riko waved you goodbye with a broad smile as the both of you left the gym. Your conversation was quiet, neither of you was loud. None of the guys had asked why it was that you had brought Nigou with you in the first place.
                               2- Studying every Sundays.
Sunday was your favorite day of the week. You weren't working on Sundays, never. Not that the flower shop where you had been taken in was very demanding. But Sunday was the day where you could do all of your homework and relax at the Maji Burger with a milkshake.
Today was no different. Kuroko was sitting in front of you, reading the assignment you needed to do. With milkshakes and fries near the abandoned books and pencils, you were studying for the next exams. Because Kuroko didn't actually have the time to prepare for his exams because of his matches and practices ever since he started playing basketball, the two of you had picked up a scheduled to study.
Maybe an hour after both of you started to study, a voice called your name, making you look up in its direction.
'' (Last)-chan!''
Riko and Hyuuga were walking in your direction energetically. Well, Riko was, Hyuuga was more following than anything else.
''How are you? What are you doing here alone?''
''Hm, Riko-san... she's not alone.''
Riko screeched, surprised to see Kuroko with you.
'So transparent' thought Hyuuga. Even after months of playing with him, he could still pull out his tricks so easily with them.
''O-oh... What are you guys doing?''
She took place in the same booth as you were, forcing Hyuuga to it. Kuroko didn't seem really bothered, but then again, when did he really show his emotions? He just took a sip of his milkshake.
''(First)-chan, do you have your history notes ?''
3- That time on the roof.
Kuroko had dozed off on your shoulder. His book long forgotten near the lunchbox you had prepared in the morning. A quiet lunchtime was rare those time around. With everything that was going on, you couldn't blame him. With all of his matches and the exams and the stress from practices was taking all of his time. His breath was deep and silent like a murmur in your ear. Your hand was in his hair, stroking them slowly.
The light blue of his hair was matching the sky and you were lost in your thoughts.
The door blocking the roof from the rest of the world opened harshly, waking Kuroko at the same time. The both of you took a little distance, taking in the newcomer near them. The blue-haired boy was looking distressed and lost until the fiery red hair of his friend came in his viewing range.
''Oh, Kuroko. I didn't expect to see you here.''
Kuroko blinked, unbothered, as he took a bite of the lunch the both of you shared. Kagami sat with you and began to eat his own meal.
''Kagami-kun...''
''Huh?''
''Could you leave?''
You choked a laugh at the face that was pulling the redhead boy at Kuroko's statement.
4- Kuroko's phone.
'Work hard at school and practice today.'
‘I’ll do my best, you better do the same.’
'Is tomorrow still working for you?'
‘Yes, same place, same time. See you there.’
'I'll take Nigou with me.'
‘His collar broke yesterday, take his harness.’
Kuroko's phone was open for everyone to see the conversation he had with you. The constant buzzing was distracting him from the team's winning meal.
''Kuroko-kun, who are you talking with?'' Riko was looking over the table with prying eyes.
''(First)-chan is asking the details of the game.''
''Ah, right! I didn't see her today.''
''She had to leave early.''
Riko took the phone from Kuroko's hand when it buzzed once again. She scrolled through the conversation.
'Don't stay up too late.'
‘Don’t worry, don’t sleep too late either.’
'I'll take Nigou home with me, come and get him tomorrow, okay?'
‘Yes, thank you. I’ll text you when I’ll get there.’
'Could you tell your mother that her Yakitori was delicious.'
‘I will pass the message, I’m glad you liked it.’
'Don't overwork yourself.'
‘I’ll be careful, but you should do the same.’
'Play well today.'
‘I’ll try to make you proud.’
''You two talk a lot right?''
Kuroko nodded briefly, taking a bite of the offered meal by his coach.
5- The quiet talk after practice.
The month had been hard for both of you. The exams week was now done. You could feel the tension going down under the mask of heavy and warm tears. You were sitting in the back of the bench, Nigou laying at your feet, waving its tail with happiness.  Was taking the time out during the practice to go see what had happened to you.
The boys weren't that interested in the matter, but Riko was and informed quite loudly the whole team about it.
''Do you think (Last)-chan is alright?''
''What do you mean?'' Asked Hyuuga, who didn't understand what she was asking.
''She looks like she's crying.''
''Huh??''
The boys hurried to see if what their manager was saying was real, of course. Only to find Kuroko's back shielding you from their intrusive eyes. The blue-haired boy was talking silently, they could only overhear the murmur of his voice echoing in the gym. The only thing they could see about you was your shivering shoulders. Riko shooed them away, making them run laps, giving Kuroko more time to go through whatever he was going through with you.
The boy hugged you gently, before getting back to practice. He had promised to talk more about the matter after practice. Nigou near you, his head on your laps, as if he was asking you how your days had been.  Bad, the whole week, but the dog couldn't understand. That's why you were waiting for Kuroko no.1.
Sometime later, Kuroko was clothed in his school uniform and ready to walk you home, quietly speaking encouragement and other sweet thoughts in your ear. The team was following close behind you. They were trying to catch a part of your conversation and have content to talk about.
''You did well during those exams. You worked hard.''
You only nodded in response. Your breath was shaking and sometimes cut by little crying sounds, but everything else was fine.
''Stop crying now, what do you want to eat?''
''Can we go to your house? Your mom makes the best food!''
                                  6- Their obliviousness fell.
Saturday was always a crazy day. Your parent accepted that you slept at Kuroko's house when you worked during the weekend and you usually had to work early in the mornings. The silent blue-haired boy had an early practice this morning. Riko was making them run all around town so they would be more apt for their next matches.
Walking hands in hands, Kuroko and you were directing yourselves toward the flower shop where you worked. The silence of the town was calming and serene. The chirping of the birds was making you smile, the wind was just enough to make you feel comfortable.
The both of you were quiet, shy and discreet. You didn't like when the attention was on you. So in the morning, when only trucks and older people were strolling down the roads, it was a perfect time. You felt invisible, invincible, even. The older people looked at the both of you with smiles on their face, the rest of the world was oblivious of your presence.
It was Kagami's voice that made you jump out of your comfort bubble. Looking behind you, trailing with the rest of the team, the red-haired boy was looking angry.
''Why are you not home when we said to get ready, huh?''
Riko was seemingly agreeing with him when she caught your tied hands.
''Heh?!? Kuroko and (Last)? You two are together?''
''Don't act so surprised please.'' Asked Kuroko.
He knew how you didn't like attention, and she was currently drawing the attention of the whole street in your direction. Your cheeks burned a bright red, as Kuroko was becoming gloomier as the looks accumulated on your backs.
''When did you to started going out together?'' Asked the manager without a care in the world.
''Some months before Senior High School.''
''That's beside the point!'' Exclaimed Kagami who was still angry.
Red, embarrassed and slightly late for you shift, you took the opportunity to squeeze Kuroko's hand before leaving. There would be a time to discuss your relationship with everyone else.

hcs for how Akashi, Kuroko, Midorima, Takao, Kagami would propose marriage to girlfriend?
Hi dear! HereI am! I admit it wasn’t easy to think about them, but I’m satisfied with theresults! I hope you enjoy!
Have a niceday!
Akashi,Kagami, Kuroko, Takao and Midorima Wedding Proposal Headcanons
 AkashiSeijuurou
-In grand style. Damn, this boy doesn’t know how torestrain himself when it concerns you.
-He starts planning it five months before. He thinksat least six different plans, looks at more than a hundred rings and drivescrazy all of your friends because it has to be perfect.
-I don’t know why, but I believe Akashi would loveParis so, he’s going to bring youthere with the excuse of a “weekend to relax”. He has booked a table on theTour Eiffel for a romantic dinner.
-At first he would have liked to do it in public becausethe world has to know you’re his, but in the end he freaks out at the last minute. For the first time in his life, he’s scared and has a million doubts. What ifyou don’t accept? What if you say no? What if…
-he waits for when you two return to the hotel, in aluxurious room with a double bed covered in red roses and with candles givingeverything a soft atmosphere. You understands there’s something off but try towait for him to speak, a bit anxious. He asks you to sit down and then plays a beautifulpiece, which he has written for you, with his violin.
-As soon as he finishes, he slowly gets on his kneesand pulls out the velvet red little box and proposes.
-He cries when you say yes and you have to repeat ittwo times because he can’t believe it.
-The ring is an elegant gold circle with a small, refined red ruby. It was his mother’s.
Kagami Taiga
-One day he’s walking back home (to you) when he passesin front of a jewelry and sees a silver ring with a small ruby. Somethingsimple, pricy, but…he thinks of you. He suddenly thinks that it would look goodon your finger. For the rest of your lives. And since he’s very impulsive, hebuys it on the spot.
-And now he’s in your apartment, the pretty box hiddenin his sport bag and he’s starting to feel nervous because realization iskicking in. What was he thinking? He has to…propose now, right? He looks atyou, comfortably sprawled on the couch in his baggy t-shirt. You are waitingfor him to have a shower and then eat together.
-During the dinner, he’s more clumsy than usual andblushes on his own; it’s funny but you’re a bit confused. He’s actuallydebating inside his head if it’s a good idea or not: he knows he should have plannedit before and maybe he should wait a more proper occasion (Momoi is gonna killhim for sure) but now that he has thought about it…he wants you now. He wantsto know if you’re going to be with him forever immediately. He needs too. Hedoesn’t understand why he had never thought about it before.
-It’s only after you’ve washed everything and you’regoing to your room that he finally finds again his foolish courage. He grabsyour wrist to stop you and make you face him. He blabbers somethingunintelligible, becoming redder and redder
-When you start giggling, without understanding, heclumsily falls on his knee and pulls out the box.
“P-please marry me.”
It’s out of nowhere. Totally absurd and unplanned. You’reunprepared and you would have never thought he was going to… but you feel tearsin your eyes as you nod frantically. You jump in his arms and he laughsrelieved, picking you up and spinning you giddily. He kisses your cheeks, yourlips, your hair, your neck…he feels drunk and quickly carries you to the bedroomlike a princess.
Kuroko Tetsuya
-He wants it to be in a comfortable, romanticatmosphere. Something private but sweet. And he wants it to be a surprise.
-One evening, you come home and when in you enter in thedining room, he has prepared the table for two, with candles and a bouquet ofred roses in the middle. He appears behind you, making you jump. He takes yourcoat and leads you to your seat.
-He has cooked a simple but delightful dinner. He’susually not very good, so he has asked Kagami to teach him and spent threeweeks practicing. They are all your favorite dishes.
-You two eat calmly, chatting and giggling like usual. You feels a bit excited but don’t want to make assumptions. It’s comfortable, familiar. Kuroko can’t take his eyes from you and has a soft smile on his lipsthat makes it difficult for you to focus.
-Before the dessert, he calls your name, stands up andmoves in front of you. He kneels and takes your hand.
“SO, I know that maybe it’s too early, but I can’t stopmyself. Will you marry me?” and shows you a silver ring with a small diamond. His hands are trembling and his face is flushed. You throw your arms around hisneck and, caught by surprise, he falls on the floor hugging you.
You repeat “yes, yes!” in his ear like a chant, like apromise, and he hides his face in the crook of your neck. You can feel histears wetting your skin.
Takao Kazunari
-He’s excited and scared about it at the same time. Hewants it to be special.
-He brings you to a park for a midnight picnic under thestars. He has brought candles, flowers and your favorite sandwiches. The two ofyou lie down on the blanket, curled against each other, and whisper jokes andtalk about anything and everything at the same time.
-His heartbeat is faster than usual and he seemsnervous and hyped, but you can’t quite understand why. At some point you starta tickling fight and it ends up with the two of you rolling in the grass andlaughing like crazy.
-At some point, he manages to pin you down, stillpanting and giggling. He has his hands beside your head, his cheeks are red andhis piercing eyes are glinting like the stars behind him. He takes a deepbreath, resting his forehead against yours.
“Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we could stay like thisforever?” He asks you with the brightest smile he has ever shown and your heartstops.
“What-?”
“Marry me, SO-chan!” His voice is filled with fondnessand desire. Maybe a bit of fear too.
Everything stops. Time, world, people. It’s just thetwo of you.
You cup his cheeks and kiss him, crying and laughingat the same time.
“Yeah, let’s stay like this forever!”
-He later gives you the ring. Silver and simple, butshining as he is.
-you end up sleeping outside, hugging under the clearsky.
MidorimaShintarou
-He’scompletely lost about it. You two had already joked about getting married, butsince you were still studying you hadn’t take it seriously. Now, herealizes that it’s the right time but doesn’t know how to do it. He. Is.Panicking. So he watches videos and tutorials, asks his friends and…in the end decidesto go for the most simple, direct plan.
-I can imagine him buying the ring (silver with anemerald), planning a romantic dinner in a good place and then…then messingeverything up because he’s a clumsy dork.
-You two are preparing to go out for that “surprise”dinner and he’s searching for the ring box of the ring. It’s pure bad luck, but when hefinds it, he exults and the box slips out of his hands. It rolls down the floorin the exact moment you enter to ask him if he was ready. It’s instinct: you benddown and pick it up. Midorima screams internally but it’s too late.
-It’s slightly open so you see it. You freezeimmediately, mouth open and wide eyes. It can’t be true.
“Oh my God.”
Midorima is paralyzed, blushing like crazy and feelinglike dying.
You look at him, your brain finally catching up. Whenyou see his face you realize that yes, it’s true. It’s true.
“YES!” you scream, suddenly rushing into his arms andknocking him down. You two fall on the bed and you squeezed the hell out ofhim, who stutters unintelligible things.
“L-let me at least ask you first,” he finally groanscovering his face, deeply embarrassed.
“Ah, yes!” you thrill rolling off him and sitting onthe edge of the bed, looking at him expectantly.
He stands up wobbling, takes the box and kneels trembling. He clears his throat.
“SO, would you marry me?” he asks stuttering andnearly fainting even if he already knows the answer, yet he manages to look intoyour eyes. He’s serious. Midorima wants to marry you for real. This stiff, clumsy, strange dork wants to spend the rest of his life with you.
You feel like melting and tears stream down your cheeks.
“Yes, a hundred times yes,” you whisper, nodding overwhelmed, and stretch your hand to him. He gently puts the ring on the right finger.Perfect size, obviously.
Midorima looks at it for a second, before kissing itsweetly.
“Sorry, it should have been diff-”
“It’s perfect,” you interrupt him opening your arm, “It’sperfect.”
And he hugs you, matching tears shining in his eyes.
-You then go to the restaurant and then for a walkunder the fireworks planning and dreaming about your future.
-You are going to mock him forever for this night, butyou wouldn’t change anything.

“A plain black coffee for someone named… Kuroko?”
The said male steps up to grab his order, trying to resist the urge to sigh at yet another mispronunciation of his name. He knows that there’s an extreme difference between the Japanese and English language, but he forgets that it means also having a difference in the sounds; but he should’ve gotten used to it already anyway, having lived in America for almost 4 years now.
Kuroko manages to get his order, softly say his thanks to the worker, and leave the coffee shop without too much of a hassle. There’s the usual scream or two that still follow him with his misdirection, but that’s at least something he’s used to, having it happen in both Japan and now here.
He easily joins the walking crowd of fellow students, automatically following the path to get to their shared university. He takes his free time to take out his phone, almost routinely checking on everything he needed to from his text messages to his very boring social media accounts.
From: Kise-kun
Message:
kurokocchi~!! im going to be in cali tonight for my next match against kagamicchi, can you come and cheer me on plssss!!??!
To: Kise-kun
Message:
I’m already attending the match because Kagami-kun is playing. And because of that, I’m afraid I’ll have to reject your wish of me cheering for you to win. Please do not ask me again to cheer against my own boyfriend.
A sudden stop nearly sends Kuroko faceplanting against the back of a stranger, but basketball had trained his reflexes enough to avoid that catastrophe. He sips on his coffee as they wait there at a crosswalk, continuing to check his phone.
From: Midorima-kun
Message:
I, unfortunately, lost to Kise in our last match despite having my lucky item on me, my bad luck being worse from being in last place that day. In tonight’s match of Kagami vs. Kise, Kagami is highly unfavored as he’s also in last place while Kise is in first. Please give him his lucky item of an airplane, and his lucky color is purple.
To: Midorima-kun
Message:
You could simply say that you want him to win for you to avenge you until you can win against Kise-kun yourself. Thank you for telling me, Midorima-kun, but I’m afraid I’ll be unable to provide today’s lucky item for him.
Kuroko can see the familiar, brick-paved entrance to his university in his peripherals from when he’s looking down at his phone. He’s about to place it back into his bag, but a sudden buzz of another message makes him keep it out longer; he had been tempted to ignore it if it was a text from Kise, but he resisted. And he’s glad for it too.
From: Taiga-kun
Message:
really exited to see u again @ tonights match. meetup @ locker room before n’ after? i cant pick u up at uni cuz of training. but after match, lets go on a date again at ur fav fancy restauraunt n’ we can cuddle at our place after?
To: Taiga-kun
Message:
Of course, we always meet there already. But we don’t have to go to a fancy place for a date, especially if you don’t like them, Taiga-kun. Let’s just go through the In N’ Out drive through, and spend the whole date doing whatever we wish at home. I do agree to cuddle, though.
Kuroko softly smiles at Kagami’s awful spelling and general texting skills, finding comfort in a tiny part of his boyfriend. He looks up to see that he’s already on campus, and he’s starting to make his way to his literature class when he hears another buzz.
From: Taiga-kun
Message:
cool!! but u know that i dont mind doing those things with u if its for u. i mean, u do the same for me for way bigger things. but all i want is to be w/ u, so burger n cuddle date it is. practice starting again tho, have a good at uni, tetsuya. i love u.
He feels his heart lighten at the thought of their date later that night, and he sends one last message before he enters his class. He slips it back into his bag, but the message stays with him in his mind for the rest of the day, excited at the thought of the match and seeing Kagami again.
To: Taiga-kun
Message:
I know, but I also genuinely just want to have a date where it’s just us two in our home plus Nigou with no workers or people to interrupt us, and we can do whatever we wish. Good luck, though, during practice, Taiga-kun. I love you too.
Kuroko waits in the familiar ‘belowground’ area, hearing a few people talking and walking occasionally in the audience seats over him. He goes back to reading his book on his phone, the audience still small and quiet enough near him that it wouldn’t bother him – it’s still a little early for people to arrive considering there’s no worry for fighting over good seats.
He’s only able to get a few more pages into the chapter when the door next to him opens. Closing his phone, he braces himself for what’s next.
“Tetsuya!”
Kuroko feels a tight hold around his waist before he’s being lifted up into the air, and he’s looking down at the beaming face of Kagami. Having gotten used to his boyfriend’s greetings, he only returns the smile before he wraps his legs around Kagami’s waist and his arms around the other’s neck.
“Hello, Taiga-kun,” he greets quietly but with just as much affection. “How have you been?”
Kagami hugs Kuroko tighter. “I’m way, way happier now that I can see you and hug you again. I missed you a lot even with all our skype calls and text messages,” he grumbles at the end.
“I feel the same way, but at least we have moments in your season where we can meet. This season is halfway over as well, meaning we’ll be together almost everyday during that break soon,” Kuroko says, watching his boyfriend’s eyes glimmer brightly again at the thought.
“Yeah, only 5 more months until it’s just us and the hellhound in our cozy place,” Kagami grins before starting to spin around with Kuroko in his arms. “We’ll be going on so many dates around town, cuddle a lot at the apartment, and we’ll just be the best damn couple with our sappy, domestic shit. We can finally cook together again, and invite some of the guys over or even fly out to meet all your Miracle friends.”
Kuroko’s giggling at the end of Kagami’s little ramble, heart fluttering at every single thing he said they’d be doing during that break. He feels warm just imagining doing all those things together with him, and he presses a soft, chaste kiss on Kagami’s lips as if saying – ‘Yes, I agree. Let’s do all that and more, together.’
They pull back and return to each other over and over again, letting themselves kiss the pain of the other’s absence away. Kuroko’s lips taste like sweetness the of his vanilla treats, the ones that Kagami always scolds him for eating too much but still buys it for him anyway; but Kagami tastes like spice, the same spices that uses in his favorite dishes and that Kuroko always loves stealing bits of food from.
It’s an odd mix, but it’s always been a perfect combination to them – perfect enough to want to keep returning to each other’s lips. And they’re captivated enough by it that they’re still in their hold, pressing kisses on the other when the rest of the team start to stream out.
Kuroko watches Kagami flush cherry red when all his teammates start to cheer at them, whooping and hollering for their ace to ‘get some’. He only chuckles softly at his boyfriend’s torment.
“Oi, you’re all assholes!” Kagami yells before burying his face in Kuroko’s shoulder of his still lifted body. His next words are muffled, but Kuroko knows him well enough to have a fairly good guess of what he said.
Kuroko pats the back of Kagami’s head, peering over to see the familiar faces of Kagami’s team. He says hello to all of them, trying his best to give an impression of a bow towards them.
They all greet him back in their own ways, but all ending in a similar ‘stop being so formal with us’ phrase. Even the coach agrees with them, and Kuroko stifles a chuckle at the affronted face he makes when he hears the ‘-san’ instead of ‘-kun’ even though it isn’t the first time. But that easily falls to the side as they all ease into conversation.
“Stop being nice to them, pay attention to me,” Kagami finally complains a few minutes later, lifting his head up slightly to glare at the team and almost pouting at Kuroko.
“Please do not ever attempt to copy my ‘puppy-eyed’ look again, Taiga-kun.” Kuroko frowns, pinching Kagami’s cheek. “And as your boyfriend, it’s one of my responsibilities to make sure I’m good friends with your friends.”
Kagami doesn’t reply immediately after that, and it sends warning bells ringing in Kuroko’s mind. The others must have noticed too when they quiet down.
Loosening his playful pinch, Kuroko motions his hands over to cup the sides of Kagami’s face lightly and lift his head fully. He gazes worriedly at the look on his boyfriend’s face who’s gazing down at the floor or something towards their feet; Kuroko waits for him to come out of his stillness, hoping that he’s only lost in his thoughts and that it’s nothing bad.
He sighs in relief – team following suit behind him – when Kagami comes back to make eye contact with Kuroko again, a genuinely real grin on his face after his almost ‘distant’ moment. He must have been thinking, Kuroko muses.
“Sorry,” Kagami apologizes sheepishly as if he knows the worry he accidentally set off in all of them.
“It’s fine, Taiga-kun. I’m hoping it’s not a serious issue,” Kuroko trails off when he sees the shaking of Kagami’s head. He wasright when he said Kagami was thinking. “But if you could right now, please put me down. I love to be held up by you and I’d love to be held up for other purposes, but you have a match.”
Kuroko says it all without a hitch of his mask, but he knows that Kagami can hear the implication in that one sentence, and Kagami loses his breath for a moment. He sees the redness bloom up his neck, and Kuroko only pecks his cheek in consolation.
“I have to go to my seat now, Taiga-kun,” Kuroko murmurs. “You’ll see me up-close considering my seat is front row.”
“I know, but you’re still all the way across from me and closer to the blond bastard,” Kagami grumbles again. “Can we take a picture together first?”
Kuroko raises an eyebrow at that, unable to keep his apathetic expression this time. “Are you actually okay, Taiga-kun? You usually hate pictures especially since you’ve started to become an NBA star alongside my friends.”
“Yeah, I do, but it’s different with you, y’know,” Kagami starts, eyes averted. “I didn’t realize how little photos I had of us together, and I kept getting lonely when I was away, so…”
He trails off there, soul quietly bared in a rare instance for Kuroko to see. The smaller male scrutinizes Kagami for a few more moments, wondering if he’s truly okay or if something had happened while he was away from California; finding nothing, Kuroko silently takes out his phone and bumps noses with Kagami.
“Sure, Taiga-kun,” he concedes, opening up the camera on his phone. “But only if you can win this match for me.”
Kagami snorts at that, but his voice is soft when he says, “I always win my matches for you.”
“I know,” is all Kuroko says in return before he snaps a photo in that moment.
The audience is packed, but Kuroko already knows that, having attended every single game when one of his friends were in California; he knows that the people here see what he sees and feel the same passion he does when he watches them play.
Watching two of some of the most important people play against each other is like lightning; it sends currents of adrenaline and electricity through his veins, and he feels so alive even though he’s only a spectator – like he’s playing in that match beside them.
A part of him feels glad that they’re still playing so vividly, having found that the American form of basketball had been the perfect way to compete against each other. All of them had found challenge in every single match of theirs, and their love for this sport was staying unwavering again.
Another part of him feels regretful for not being a part of their own feud. He glances at his wrist after that thought, a flash of familiar pain sending him wincing for a moment. As if to check if it was still working, he rotates his wrist, hearing a soft crack from it; it’s always surprising how such a tiny event could change a lot of things.
He continues watching the match, trying to ignore the sudden heaviness in his heart.
His eyes focus solely on his two important people and smile getting wider at every single point scored by his boyfriend; and as much as he secretly cares for Kise, he’s cheering for Kagami.
Kuroko forgets how fast basketball feels sometimes when he’s completely immersed in it. Soon enough, it’s half-time, and the teams are heading back to their side of the court to rest up and talk strategies.
Kuroko unashamedly stares at Kagami from his spot, smiling at the sight of a fired-up redhead and with all his teammates feeling just the same as him. He furrows his brows in slight confusion, though, when Kagami makes eye contact with him for a second and looks away immediately with a blush instead of maintaining it; all the other team members glance back to look at him too and suddenly shuffle closer, but he relaxes when one of them mouths ‘ it’s nothing bad’.
Kuroko turns his gaze away from his boyfriend’s oddly acting team and towards Kise’s own team.
They look like they’re doing fine, having gone into halftime with a fairly small deficit. Kuroko notices how none of the team is near Kise right now, but he knows that it’s them respecting Kise’s wish to be alone to stay focused rather than them being rude. And when the buzzer sounds at the end of halftime, the team give their own tiny encouragements towards their ace and each other, unruffled by score and unwavering in their unity.
Kuroko’s glad Kise’s found a good team, but it makes him even more worried when he glances back at Kagami’s team. Usually, they had their own subconscious routine they followed before going into the second half, but it seemed absent today.
The game restarts, and Kagami sends a glance and a smaller grin towards his way when he’s walking back out. Kuroko returns the smile, ignoring the unsettled feeling in his stomach.
He doesn’t bother to dwell on it for now, though. He just keeps watching the game, completely focused on it when he sees both Kise and Kagami enter the Zone.
Kagami’s team wins over Kise’s.
“With a score of 125-120, the Chicago Bulls win!”
The crowd’s disappointment couldn’t be contained, having cheered for their home team, but they clap anyway for the game – as much as they hate losing, Kuroko knows that they can’t deny the impressiveness of a match with 2 Zone players.
Kuroko stands up after most of the people around him are already making their way out, but goes to stand by the outside of the court instead of following them.
He watches Kise and Kagami meet up on the court, giving each other a hug, saying something to each other that Kuroko can’t exactly figure out before Kagami starts to send Kise away. But knowing the two of them for more than half a decade, Kuroko wants to say that they’re most likely issuing more challenges to each other because that’s how they’ve all been.
When they’re done, Kise not leaving just yet, the two of them look around, and Kuroko can’t help the inward joy he feels when they smile and beckon him over to join them on the court. He does join them, already halfway to them when a lady stranger darts past him to make her way to Kagami, microphone in hand and camera following her.
Ah, an interviewer.
Kuroko’s never been a person to be negative, but he is a little annoyed at the interviewer who just cuts him off and indirectly cuts his time with Kagami. He tries not to show it, simply continuing to make his way towards a flustered Kagami and the interrogating lady.
“Taiga-kun,” he calls out softly when he’s close enough, ignoring the way the cameraman and the lady jump too but pan to him anyway.
“Agh, what the–Tetsuya!”
Kuroko stifles a giggle at how he can still scare Kagami with his misdirection even after all these years.
Even though Kagami spins around with an annoyed look at first, it easily fades away into a simple sigh of exasperation then into a fond grin for still managing to fall for Kuroko’s tricks. His hand comes up to ruffles teal hair before he goes to move in for a tight hug.
Kuroko just takes it all with a smile, drowning in all of Kagami’s affections and hugging back just as tight. As if they’re not in a crowd of people in the middle of a court or in front of a live camera, they’re finding comfort in their shared moment of unity – they fit perfectly against each other with tiny and lithe slotting against tall and bulky. They forget about everything besides each other.
“Also, uh, by the way, Tetsuya,” Kagami starts nervously when he pulls away from the hug. “Can we talk about something?”
Kuroko pushes down the wave of iciness that crashes over him. “Of course, Taiga-kun. What’s wrong?”
At the question, Kagami waves his hand spastically with an odd look on his face. “It’s nothin’ bad, I swear! I just, uh– oi, Kise!”
Kuroko pretends he doesn’t reel back from the sudden calling of Kise’s name, only blinking when he sees a flash of blonde beside Kagami’s side and hears a quiet whisper of ‘good luck’. Why does Kagami need good luck for if he’s only talking to Kuroko about something not bad?
He eyes his redheaded boyfriend, wondering what exactly he’s up to; Kuroko might be one of the most observant people, but even he could be evaded if someone tried hard enough.
“Look, this isn’t bad, alright,” Kagami repeats, more sweat starting to bead on his forehead. “I’m just not good with these kinda things, y’know?”
The smaller male resists the urge to laugh, instead nodding and patiently waiting for his boyfriend to gather himself together.
“You’ve been here for a long time, putting up with me and all my weird and probably really bad habits,” he says. “You’ve put up with me for over 6 years now, ever since we started dating after that Winter Cup in Japan.”
“I never thought of it as ‘putting up with you’, Taiga-kun. I simply accepted all parts of you that weren’t harmful,” Kuroko corrects. “But yes, it’s been just a little past 6 years since you made my life so much brighter.”
Kagami flushes red but continues with his point. “And then when I ended up wanting to go back to America to be part of the NBA, you just – went along with it. You didn’t have to come with me especially after what happened in our third year.” The two of them wince at the memory. “You could have just stayed in Japan, I would have returned to America still, and we would still be dating, but just long-distance. We would have made it too because it’s us.
“Instead, you ended up studying your ass off just so you could stay with me and see me live my dream in America. Even if it meant leaving you to be alone for most of the year while you’re still in college. We had all those calls and texts, but–”
Kagami trails off, mouth twisting as if he couldn’t find the words to say. He’s never been good with emotions like he said after all.
“You’re about to graduate college, and that means you’ll have more free time after that. After spending a lot of time without you by my side physically,” Kagami chokes up here. “I want you by my side for a long time.”
Kuroko’s caught on by now, surprise evident in his wide eyes. But then he sees Kagami clumsily kneel down, a hand hiding behind his back now coming out and holding up a closed black box; Kuroko loses his breath for a moment when Kagami opens the velvet box, and everything finally sinks in at the sight of the ring.
“So, please, Tetsuya, will you marry me?”
Before he can stop himself, he’s crying like a fool. He can’t even get his answer out before the emotions rush in because his mouth is quivering and tears are falling down his face without abandon; he hates how much he feels like Kise now, with his over emotional reaction, but at least his tears are silent. But he supposes that the romantic in him that had always hoped for an ending like this – an ending where he’s loved – can’t be easily stopped after spending so many years with Kagami.
“Y-yes, Taiga-kun.”
Kuroko goes to wipe away his tears, but his hand is stopped. His blue eyes just watch as Kagami stand up, his figure still as looming and tall but feeling so warm and protective over Kuroko.
Kagami fumbles with the ring a little, earning a few laughs from the crowd, but Kuroko just finds it...endearing. How Kagami is still so easily shy and clumsy with things like these with Kuroko; how he’s still so genuine and innocent in every single act of affection; how he’s just so good.
A few tears are still running down his cheeks as Kagami slides the engagement ring around his finger, and Kuroko can’t help but stare at it.
It’s a simple black band with a row tiny diamonds wrapping around the entire middle of the band, but in the very middle, there are two very different gems – an aquamarine and a garnet placed right by each other.
“Taiga-kun…” is all Kuroko can manage for now.
“I-I actually had this custom made here a long time ago, even before I managed to get signed on a team,” Kagami confesses, still quiet and nervous with quivering hands.   “I was already planning on marrying you a long time ago. I just wanted to wait for you, Tetsuya.”
Kuroko can’t stifle the urge, so he kisses Kagami right after it. It’s a sudden one, searing and strong but passionate and loving as well; he can still taste the sweet vanilla and spicy heat, feel the same warmth and homeliness and just be the same Kuroko and Kagami duo that they’ve always been. They’re still all that but more and as a Kagami duo now instead.
“Taiga-kun is so mean,” Kuroko sniffles after he’s kissed Kagami senseless and after Kagami’s yelped at his accusation. “First, Taiga-kun wins the match for me, and now there’s a proposal with some of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard.”
Kagami just laughs, grinning like a madman now that there’s his nervousness gone and a ring accepted by his beloved. “If it helps you feel better, I was gonna propose at the Championships, but I can’t guarantee that with all those Miracle bastards.”
“I can’t believe I love an idiot.”
“I can’t believe it either.”
They kiss again to the noises of a cheering crowd, the flashes of an interviewer’s cameras, and to the staccato rhythm of their synced hearts.
(...but they also forget that they’re in the middle of a crowded court in front of an interviewer.
It’s only when she’s finally brave enough to interrupt them that the two of them realize, a glint of something terrifying in her eyes. Kagami starts to sweat in nervousness, just finally realizing that he proposed to another guy in front of who knows how many famous people in the NBA; Kuroko’s realized that everyone he knows that’s in America is going to see this, and he’s inwardly mortified at the thought.
The two of them share a familiar glance, and before the interviewer can start their questions – thank you for not interrupting the proposal, though, at least  – Kagami’s lifting Kuroko up again into his arms.
Kagami runs, and Kuroko holds on. Kise laughs from somewhere behind them.)

the nights
Happy White Day, @dessahvb! You gave me such cute gifts, so I tried to write something really cute in return, but I’m not sure if this is quite what I was imagining... I tried my best, and I hope you enjoy this gift!
AO3
Rating: G
Pairing: Akakuro
Word Count: 3k
Summary: For the past four years, Kuroko Tetsuya has been the only one to live on the top floor of his apartment building. That changes when his new red-haired neighbor moves in.
Warnings: None
Tetsuya has lived in this small, humble apartment for four long years now, and he’s enjoyed his simple life. He may not enjoy waking up at dawn almost every day, but he does love commuting to the kindergarten and greeting his students as they come in, receiving warm, cheery words in return. He loves teaching them, loves looking after them, loves seeing them off to their parents. He is incredibly grateful for being able to finish work and be called by friends, invited out for a relaxing evening. He even enjoys staying up late and grading his students’ work and creating new things to do every day.
He does not enjoy the sound of people moving things outside his door at five in the morning.
It must have been a mere three hours or less since Tetsuya fell asleep; he’d been so busy that he wasn’t able to sleep until two. He lifts his head groggily and stares at the door for a long, long moment.
The noise continues.
Irritated, Tetsuya pushes the covers off of himself and grabs his sweater that was hanging on the back of his nearby desk chair. He punches his arm down in hopes of sliding it on, but his arm misses entirely, and the momentum nearly tips him over in his exhausted state. Sighing to himself, he fumbles for a minute, trying to slip his sweater on. After a couple more misses, he manages to finally slide it on, and he closes the front of it, hobbling to his door. He’s cold, tired, and very, very annoyed—a terrible mixture on anyone.
He opens his door slowly; the only thing holding him back from slamming it open are his manners, which are somehow intact despite his state of mind. When he pokes his head outside, he notices what look to be movers carrying things into the apartment next to him. He blinks in surprise. In all his years of living here, for some odd reason, no one has ever moved into the apartment next to him, which is the only other one on the floor.
“Ah, my apologies. Did we wake you?”
Tetsuya is caught off-guard, but he conceals it well, looking in the direction of the voice. A well-dressed man is standing against the railing opposite the wall, crimson hair muted in the darkness before dawn. And yet.
And yet blood red eyes glow as they seem to dissect Tetsuya from head-to-toe.
Tetsuya subtly tries to wrap himself even tighter in his sweater.
The uncomfortable feeling passes as quickly as it came as the man’s eyes move up to meet Tetsuya’s again, waiting for his answer. Feeling relieved and a little winded, as if he’d just run a marathon, Tetsuya finds the will to reply. “Yes, you did.” Blunt. It isn’t as if lying to him will do anything. The other man seems like he would know if Tetsuya was lying or not.
The man seems briefly amused by his answer, but his expression neutralizes just as fast. “I see. I apologize again; I wanted to move in as soon as possible, but I had hoped that my new neighbor would be a deep sleeper or not home,” the man explains, tipping his head slightly as an apologetic gesture. Tetsuya is, honestly, ready to retreat back into his apartment and pretend this never happened, but the man has different plans. He pushes himself off the railing and approaches Tetsuya, offering him his hand. Tetsuya eyes it warily. “I believe we got off on the wrong foot. My name is Akashi Seijuurou, and I’ve just moved in next door. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He punctuates his statement with a charming smile, but Tetsuya is utterly unfazed. It’s five in the morning, and the hours before dawn have no place for attractive men. At least, in Tetsuya’s opinion, that is.
Tetsuya shakes his hand, but only briefly. His expression is blank. “My name is Kuroko Tetsuya. I’m afraid I can’t say the same, but I hope you enjoy living here,” he deadpans. With that, he steps backward, and shuts the door in Akashi’s face.
As he makes his way back to bed, he swears he hears the other man chuckling, but he decides to forget he ever heard anything and falls face-down onto his creaky bed.
He’s sleeping just a moment later, and his dreams are, thankfully, free of any day-ruining redheads.
When Tetsuya wakes up a few hours later, head full of cotton and tiredness settled firmly into his bones, he completely forgets what happened before dawn and goes about his morning normally. He eats a slice of toast and a boiled egg and then washes up in the bathroom before dressing for the day. After that, he gathers all his supplies and his students’ work he’d taken home, and he leaves his apartment. Normally, he has a quiet walk down four flights of stairs and then an irritating time waiting for the bus and being pushed around by antsy commuters.
This is not normal.
A man with blazing red hair jogs toward Tetsuya, drenched in so much sweat it should be disgusting, and it is, but it seems considerably less disgusting than when Kagami or Aomine is drenched in sweat. Because he’s wearing a sleeveless shirt, Tetsuya is momentarily distracted by his surprisingly large arm muscles (why can’t he have muscles like that), but his moment of being impressed ends when memories of earlier that morning come flooding back to him.
Akashi notices him and sends him a polite smile. “Good morning, Kuroko,” he greets, wiping some of the sweat off his face with a towel. Tetsuya won’t lie. He half-expects the sweat to come off sparkly.
Tetsuya decides he should at least be polite despite the other man ruining his morning. “Good morning, Akashi-san,” he says, simply. Tetsuya adjusts his grip on his bag. Akashi notices.
“Ah, are you on your way somewhere? Sorry, I won’t stop you. Have a safe trip,” Akashi steps to the side to let Tetsuya pass. Tetsuya’s shoulders loosen a little. Akashi doesn’t seem like a bad person.
Tetsuya smiles a little, bowing. “Thank you. I’ll be off now.” As Tetsuya passes by Akashi, he thinks the other’s eyes follow him to the stairs, but he dismisses the feeling.
“Oh, poor Tetsu-kun,” Momoi laughs lightly, hugging Tetsuya and patting his back. Tetsuya sighs a little; he’d told her what happened this morning, but unfortunately, she isn’t very sympathetic about it.
Having finished work at the kindergarten for the day, Tetsuya had gone to meet Momoi for dinner as they’d planned a few days ago. When Momoi had asked him if anything had happened recently, he had decided to tell her about the morning’s events. She had seemed highly amused the entire time.
“Momoi-san,” Tetsuya sighs, as they break apart and head into the restaurant, “please be more sympathetic to me.”
Momoi giggles, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. They’re seated before she answers him, smiling brightly in the way that makes Tetsuya relax. “Well, I do feel bad for you since I know you don’t get enough rest, but he did apologize,” she points out, picking up her menu and flipping through it. Tetsuya mimics her, a small crease in his eyebrows.
“He… did…” He mutters under his breath, reluctant to say it. Momoi giggles, winking at Tetsuya.
“He’s your first neighbor, Tetsu-kun. Try not to butt heads with him too much, okay?”
Well, Momoi has a point, as always. Tetsuya had already known on this, but… Well, if Momoi asks him, then he has to do it. He sighs lightly, smiling a little at Momoi.
“I will. Thank you, Momoi-san.”
Momoi laughs. “Anything for you, Tetsu-kun.”
Tetsuya looks down at his menu, smiling softly.
Tetsuya realizes that he hardly sees Akashi around, and when Tetsuya is home, Akashi generally isn’t. While Tetsuya has no idea what the other man does, he thinks it’s probably a well-paying job. From what Tetsuya can remember of the morning Akashi moved in, he seemed to have a lot of high-quality furniture.
Which begs the question, why move into such a low-end apartment building?
Well, it isn’t really any of his business.
One night, about a week after Akashi moved in, Tetsuya is up late. This time, he isn’t up late because of his work; rather, he’s practicing on the upright piano that barely fits into his apartment. Tomorrow afternoon, he was asked to give piano lessons to one of his students, so he decided to warm up and make sure he isn’t too rusty. He’s been so busy with his job that he hasn’t had time for playing the piano.
As he’s falling asleep to the soothing, peaceful music he’s playing, he hears the door to the apartment next to his open. He blinks lethargically, glancing at the alarm clock next to his bed. 3:14. The numbers glow red, carving themselves into his vision.
He gets home late.
The walls are extremely thin. Tetsuya stops playing the piano—his fingers had been barely touching the keys anyway. There’s a couple of muffled thuds, probably Akashi putting down a briefcase Tetsuya once spotted him with, and then another door opening and closing. About a minute passes before the pipes creak and a shower turns on.
Tetsuya leans back without tumbling off the bench.
Showers are perhaps the loudest and most obnoxious things in this complex, and it’s impossible to not be able to hear them through the walls.
Has Tetsuya just been sleeping through this, or is this the first time Akashi’s taken a shower at this time?
He doubts the latter.
He believes in the first.
Tetsuya, now wide awake because of the rumbling downpour from next door, decides to resume practicing. He unapologetically plays at mezzoforte and perhaps even louder so he’s able to hear himself over the roar of the water.
Yes, it’s that loud.
Thankfully, Akashi finishes showering in fifteen minutes or less. Tetsuya resumes playing at a normal volume, arranging songs he’s heard lately for fun. He’s about to stop, not only because he’s tired and because he doesn’t want to keep Akashi awake with his playing, when he hears a creak of a chair and then the sound of a lamp turning on.
It sounds like Akashi is staying awake, too.
He’s not sure what compels him to, but he decides to keep playing. Akashi never comes to his door and asks him to stop, so he doesn’t.
He wonders why the night is so peaceful.
Tetsuya wakes the next morning with a low buzz in his ears and his cheek glued to something hard.
He winces, slowly lifting his head. His alarm is screeching, so he reaches out to hit the snooze button.
His hand hits something hard, and it isn’t his alarm.
Realizing something is amiss, Tetsuya opens his eyes, and the first thing he notices is the piano in front of him.
The second is that he fell asleep at the bench and not on his bed.
He groans quietly, his back protesting as he stretches his sore limbs. He’s definitely paying for his mistake, he can tell. He sluggishly stands, making his way over to his wailing alarm and shutting it off with a decisive chop of his hand. That done, he starts his morning routine, feeling like he’d barely slept at all.
At most, he’d gotten two hours of sleep, so it isn’t too far off.
It doesn’t take long to be on his way. As he’s adjusting his bag on his shoulder, he hears the sound of footsteps on the stairs, and soon enough, he’s face-to-face with Akashi.
…Who’s just returning from a run.
“Good morning, Kuroko,” he greets, not missing a beat. There aren’t any dark shadows under his eyes. As if noticing Tetsuya’s subtle examinations, Akashi wipes some sweat off his forehead and sends him what looks to be a small, tiny, miniscule…smirk. “You look tired. Are you alright? You shouldn’t stay up late if you have to leave this early in the morning,” he notes, voice absolutely polite and concerned.
Tetsuya practically feels the invisible vein on his forehead pop.
I take back any nice thing I’ve ever thought about him.
“…Good morning, Akashi-san,” Tetsuya just barely manages, voice teetering on the line between neutrally polite and coldly irate. Before he can do something he regrets, he decides to leave it at that, brushing past Akashi to head for the stairs.
A day-ruining person indeed.
Sure enough, he seethes over the man’s triumphantly snide comment for the rest of the day. In the first place, who stays up just as late, if not later, as Tetsuya did and wakes up earlier and isn’t tired at all? What kind of superhuman does his neighbor think he is? And there wasn’t any need to comment on Tetsuya’s obvious inferiority. Unlike his neighbor, Tetsuya isn’t capable of only getting two hours of sleep and waking up looking like he just walked off a magazine cover.
Tetsuya sighs.
He’d managed to get through the piano lesson alright, at least. He really didn’t want any of his irritation to seep out when he was with his students, and it thankfully didn’t, since he has such good control on his outward emotions. Once he’s finished with the lesson, he’s so tired that he just wants to go home and sleep early.
So that’s exactly what he does.
He doesn’t even have to worry about running into Akashi because he knows he’s usually out at this time. He safely gets into his apartment without any interruptions and quickly finishes any leftover work he has. Once done, he takes a warm shower and then eats while his hair is drying. Kagami texts him and asks him if he wants to eat dinner with the guys and Momoi on Sunday night. Tetsuya texts him back an affirmative; having dinner with his friends should be very de-stressing.
After eating, Tetsuya sits at his table, staring at the wall. He wonders why Akashi gets onto his nerves so easily. While they didn’t have a great start to their acquaintanceship, he generally doesn’t dislike people this much. He supposes he doesn’t dislike Akashi that much. However, the other man’s attitude rubs him the wrong way. He’s sure all that charm is fake. He prefers people to be real with him; he doesn’t like people who are fake.
He wonders if that makes him a hypocrite.
He decides to sleep, unsure of what to do with all these thoughts of Akashi. He just moved in, anyway, and Tetsuya doesn’t even know him that well. Why is he thinking of him so often?
He sighs, getting under the covers of his creaky bed.
He just wants to sleep.
Around four hours later, he wakes to the sound of music.
A violin, to be exact.
Tetsuya keeps his face buried in the blankets, just listening for a long moment. Whoever is playing is experienced; the way the violin sings tells him that. Tetsuya nearly falls back to sleep right away.
It has to be Akashi playing the violin.
Well, now he’s awake.
He sits up, staring at his wall with half-shut eyes. He realizes that Akashi is following the song pattern he was playing last night, and he isn’t missing a beat. In fact, he might be transitioning even smoother than Tetsuya did. He can only wish that he was that skillful at playing an instrument.
He sits there for a few more minutes, listening to Akashi play. Realizing that his fingers are itching to play the piano, Tetsuya sighs to himself, a small, wry smile on his lips. He supposes he isn’t sleeping for a while.
When he stands, the bed creaking under him, he thinks he hears Akashi stop for a split second. But then he’s playing again, and it could very well just be his imagination, so he shrugs it off and walks over to his piano.
Akashi changes the song, and it doesn’t match what Tetsuya played last night. Tetsuya tilts his head, listening—the song sounds somber, not as light as the other songs. Tetsuya blinks. Akashi continues playing.
It almost sounds like an apology.
Tetsuya looks down at the keys of his piano. Trying not to smile, he settles his fingers on the keys lightly.
A light jingle, like bells chiming.
Akashi pauses for a long moment, listening as Tetsuya plays it again. Akashi mimics the jingle perfectly. Tetsuya doesn’t feel that jealous.
Maybe he isn’t so bad after all.
They play together, two different instruments singing in the dark of the night, until the world wakes.
It turns into a routine. Every night, they play together for at least an hour, and then they sleep. They never speak a word of it, so it could all be a dream that Tetsuya has every night, but.
But when Tetsuya sees Akashi in the morning, the other man has looked a lot warmer than when he first moved in.
He doesn’t think it’s a dream.
He won’t lie. He loves playing the piano, and he’s missed it, so being able to do this is one of the most enjoyable things he’s done in a while. While he does love his job and being with his friends, there’s something about playing the piano that makes him feel happy and fulfilled.
He probably wouldn’t have played the piano again after he finished his piano lessons with his student if not for Akashi.
Odd how the world works.
…Akashi himself is...special, Tetsuya realizes.
One night, after he and Akashi finish playing together, Tetsuya is walking to his bed when he hears a quiet knock on the wall. Tetsuya pauses, deciding to knock back to let Akashi know he’s listening. He wonders if Akashi is going to ask him if he wants to practice face-to-face, or maybe if he wants to write a song with him—
“Dinner tomorrow night?”
Muffled, yet clear enough that Tetsuya knows he hasn’t misheard anything. Tetsuya stares at the wall.
That’s not what he expected. Is it what he wants?
It might not even be in that way. But the silence between them seems tense, and Tetsuya has a feeling Akashi is on-edge waiting for his answer.
He closes his eyes, leaning his forehead against the wall.
“What time?”
Omake:
“Did you know that you’re the first person to move into the apartment next to mine since I first moved in?” “Why, yes, I did.” “Really?” “Yes. Your neighbors are all convinced that there’s a ghost living in your apartment, and they tell that to all the people who plan to move into this complex, I think.” “…I see.”
hi, my knowledge of how to play the piano is still limited and my knowledge of kindergarten is probably non-existent, so I apologize.
I’m really sorry, I did try my best with this fic, but I apologize if this isn’t what you wanted Dessa ;w; I noticed you liked things in a domestic setting, so with that in mind, I tried to make it? as domestic as I could without them living together yet? since pining was good too, but...not much pining actually happened. again I’m really, really sorry if this doesn’t meet your expectations after you gave me such cute gifts T_T

Note
kagami, kasamatsu, midorima where their crush gives them chocolate, and their teammates tell them to stop being shy and ask the girl out?
Note: giri-choco
means obligatory chocolate that girls give to guys in Japanese Valentine’s Day,
honmei-choco means the chocolate given
to people they have feelings for (genuine instead of obligatory).
This also feels so typically shoujo manga, I’m sorry.
Midorima:
“What, you haven’t asked her out yet?”
That
was Miyaji, bluntly speaking out his mind while autonomously practicing his
footwork.
Midorima
can hear Takao burst into laughter several feet away from the scene—the
dark-haired athlete is lucky that you’re in the perimeter, because if you
weren’t, Takao would already have a basketball shot exactly to his head.
Your
intentions are simple and straightforward: to give him your homemade
chocolates. You might not be confessing yet, since you feel like you haven’t
prepared enough, but you’re sure that even someone as dense as Midorima is able
to get the message. They are homemade chocolate cookies, after all. A girl
doesn’t just give this to any person
on Valentine’s Day.
The
intricately packaged cookies are held close to your chest when you hear the
upperclassman’s words. You feel your heartbeat speeding up exponentially once
your brain processes the meaning behind that sentence, which doesn’t take much
time: does this mean Midorima intends to confess his feelings to you?
A
part of you that hates being disappointed tells you that it might just be a
form of teasing, that the boy you’ve pined for so long does not actually return
your affections. When you look at him, you bet everything you own that Midorima
is going to look more disinterested or annoyed than flustered.
Imagine
your surprise when you find him, towering in front of you effortlessly with
that height, blushing and melting into a stuttering mess—you catch him saying
something along the lines of “senpai, why” but his words are so jumbled and his
voice shaky that you almost think you misheard. Midorima covers half of his
face with his hand under the pretence of fixing his glasses, when in fact you
can clearly see the eyewear pressed so tightly on its correct position.
Hope
takes shape as butterflies in your gut, and with whatever voice you are able to
muster, you tell him:
“Midorima-kun,
I actually l-like you.”
The
gym falls into a complete silence.
“I
have for quite a while now!” You resume quickly so as to not prolong the
awkwardness—you can feel stares pointed at your general direction and you feel
your cheeks turning hot red, “so… please accept these?”
Your
hands are now outstretched, offering him the packaged cookies.
“They’re…
not giri-choco.”
At
that, Midorima seems to be getting worse—if only you had the courage to look
him in the eye rather than looking down on the gym floor, you would see him
look as if he’s on the verge of crying, cheeks flushed red. He covers his face
more blatantly now, while the other one shakily accepts your gracious gift.
Miyaji, Ootsubo, and Kimura have to take care not to let their jaw drop down to
the ground as they watch the scene unfold. As for Takao, he’s visibly shocked
like the others, but there’s a glint of happiness in his eyes like he has been
waiting for this moment to happen.
“Stupid…”
Midorima murmurs, averting his gaze shyly—should he make eye contact with you,
he’ll for sure faint from being overwhelmingly joyful at the fact that you actually like him back. “Why confess
now?”
The
two of you secretly know that if it weren’t for your sudden burst of bravery,
it would take another year or more for him to gather the courage to ask you out
first.
Kagami:
“Don’t forget to say ‘I like you’,
Kagami-kun.”
Kagami’s usual first reaction of Kuroko sneaking up
on him would be shock, but this time things are different. In addition to that,
his face gradually turns as red as the strands of his hair, and when he slowly
turns to you only to find the shocked look on your face, he feels like burying
himself six feet deep.
“Kuroko!!”
“What? I thought you asked me to help you practice?”
You’re
left to your own devices as the two friends banter, Kagami shouting at Kuroko
most of the time for ‘not having good timing’ or ‘ruining his chances’, but
truth be told, their words are nothing but meaningless noises to you—you are
very much surprised at what Kuroko just said, not knowing whether the boy with
thin presence means it or not. Taking Kagami’s reaction into consideration, it
is likely that Kuroko indeed tells the truth, which means…
At
this point you’re the one flushed
beyond control, but deciding that it’s now or never—the two of you will
undoubtedly be too awkward if you get to meet after this incident—you grab a
hold of Kagami’s wrist, tugging him with enough strength as you jog out of the
classroom. Kagami lets out a slight yelp from the sudden jerk, and his
frustration directed at Kuroko is immediately replaced by anxiety as you lead
him to a more secluded staircase, away from prying eyes.
“__________!
I swear, it’s not what you—”
“I
like you, Kagami-kun.”
His
eyes widen, panic slowly diffusing into realization as he tries to comprehend
your confession. You like him? The whole school year he’s been
sending secret glances and watching you from afar, gradually trying to accept
the fact that he’s always a bystander. Now here you are, telling him you like him.
“I…
don’t know what that was between you
and Kuroko-kun,” you say again, eyes down on the ground as if the tiled floors
are the most interesting thing in the world, “but if you don’t like me back,
it’s okay. I was—I just felt like it was the right thing to do. Telling you I
like you, I mean.” You’re rambling now, and your cheeks are starting to gain
color. The wrapped homemade chocolates you have been holding in one hand is
starting to get cold, you realize—or is it just your senses being numbed,
because of Kagami’s lack of response.
“Anyway,
that’s all I wanted to say. I-I’m sorry for dragging you all of a sudden…”
Just
as you begin your swift escape, Kagami manages to grab your arm. You gasp,
unable to release yourself from his strong hold even if you wanted too—you find
yourself not wanting to run away,
what with him suddenly pressing you against his chest in a tight hug. You can
feel his rabbit heartbeat, pumping abnormally fast even as his arms around you
tighten. One look to his face will tell you he’s nervous, but hugging you like
this feels so right to him he can’t
bring himself to let you go despite his apparent embarrassment.
It’s
time for him to show you the result of his confession practice.
Kasamatsu:
“Just ask her out already, senpai!”
Kasamatsu’s
breath hitches in his throat, the shock causing him to freeze while he’s trying
to accept the confectionaries you worked so hard on making. Kise has a knack of
pushing his buttons, and Kasamatsu doesn’t know why he didn’t expect this to
happen—you, his crush, entered the
gym like a freaking angel, wanting to
give homemade chocolates to no one
other than himself, Kasamatsu Yukio, your upperclassman, and Kise just had to open his stupid mouth.
Under
normal circumstances, Kasamatsu would be very, very pissed off at the golden-haired boy, and would undoubtedly
resort to kicking Kise repeatedly until he calms down. This time around, he
can’t, because look at your face: your mouth shaped into a small “o” (from the
surprise, he assumes), your whole body seemingly at a standstill…
He
knows he can’t keep his feelings for you a secret anymore, so in the heat of
the moment, he encloses a hand around your wrist and walks toward the gym exit,
making you follow behind him whether you like it or not.
Your
mind is still racing. Kasamatsu is walking in front of you, eerily quiet. What
if he’s annoyed of you, that you’ve interrupted practice just for a bag of
chocolate cookies? What if he tells you he doesn’t want to see you again? You
realize your thoughts seem so far-fetched, and you blame it on your hammering
heart and your brain for overthinking every situation possible.
There
are not many people around the premises—it’s dusk, and most students are going
back home after club activities. You see several couples here and there,
holding hands and enjoying each other’s presence more than they usually do,
considering that it’s Valentine’s. Somehow you feel a tinge of jealousy tugging
at your heartstrings, the want to be one of those people who loves and is loved
in return. But you want only his love
in return. Kasamatsu stands stone-faced in front of you, gaze focused elsewhere
as you try to swallow anticipation like a bitter pill. He looks as if he is
about to scold you, and so you brace yourself of what’s to come.
“Listen,
__________. I… I like you. A lot.” Kasamatsu’s hardened
expression quickly melts into that of embarrassment. “Stupid Kise blew it away
already, I guess. I-I’m sorry about that.”
For
a second your eyes meet, and like innocent middle-schoolers, both your face and
his are flushed pink, and that’s when you’re too shy to continue looking at
him. Kasamatsu acts similar, ruffling the hair at the back of his neck as an
unintentional reflex to his shyness, but when you stretch your hand out to give
him the chocolate again, his attention is all on you.
“Actually,
Kasamatsu-senpai, I like you too—I’ve liked you for a while now, um, and
these,” you say, placing the bag in his hand, “they’re honmei. For you.”
At
that moment, Kasamatsu feels two things he has never felt before: the first
being so faint and yet so aware at the same time, and the second feeling so full of happiness he wants to shout it
out to the whole world—multiple times, if necessary.

GIFT
Kuroko No Basuke — Tadatoshi Fujimaki Gift — t41g4 Please understand, if : Character in this fanfic could be very OOC, my grammar is very bad, errors of writing everywhere, plot is not clear and confusing, and various other mistakes. .. He had never seen that blue-haired man so busy for the rest of him life, even though they had decided to stay together for a rather long time—from the end of high school. But still, for Taiga to have Daiki is everything he needs in this world, because he is his world. Even so, in fact Taiga did not refuse when Daiki give his gift. It is not expensive. But Taiga is sure, he will remember the gift from Daiki for the rest of him life. .. Taiga was’n sure how much time the lazy man spent studying this, he really looked stunning in a tight old cowboy suit and hugged him so tightly, and Taiga would not lie if Daiki looked so hot right now. Him navy's hair was hidden inside a broad brown hat, while the man smelled of wood. Totally burn Taiga from inside. It was like Taiga wanted to wrap his arms around him all night long, and be in the strong arm's sleeves and comfortable thick muscles. Maybe he'll do it while they sleep. Because now Daiki looks very excited, and it seems like it will last for a few hours later. Seeing what is happening now, incomplete if it does not discuss everything from scratch. What else if you see how this morning Daiki is still asleep so soundly on their bed when Taiga went to work. And when Taiga came home he was startled by the outages of all the lights in their small apartment. Taiga thinks it has something to do with the damage and thinks of calling the electrician immediately, if Daiki did not light a candle in the middle of the room. The light shone on his strong face. Afterwards, Daiki lit another candle and made the room filled with candle light. The tantalizing scent came from the center of the table. A rather lavish banquet and many neatly arranged above it—which Taiga believes results Daiki delivery. At that Taiga could only frowned confused with the situation around them. Until Daiki starts turning on his music player. Excerpts of the guitar sounded later. And it feels like Taiga knows the song. Daiki leaned in with a hot, dangerous glance, making Taiga feel the hair on his neck stand up. He approached to close the door of their apartement, before hugging Taiga's waist from behind. They lightly follow the rhythm until Daiki sings the lyrics. — Si sabes que ya llevo un rato mirándote, Tengo que bailar contigo hoy His voice was hoarse and a little awkward, making Taiga unable to laugh at him. That means, Hey ~ it's completely different, Daiki never spoke Spanish before, and Taiga sure, he must be trying hard to do it. Perhaps he took Spanish lessons without Taiga knowing or maybe he studied independently, remembering if Daiki was really smart, his only fault was that he was very lazy. Taiga just know what Daiki wants to say through the lyrics. They rarely spend time together, even just to hug and kiss. Considering how they work. — Vi que tu mirada ya estaba llamándome... Muéstrame el camino que yo voy, oh... And the lyrics are not much better. It made him feel more embarrassed. How can a firefighter who returns with a sweaty body can be included in a calling category? And Taiga thinks it's sweet enough to say to someone who just got home from work. Then the music began to change a little more fun, and their body shake changed. Daiki twisted it until they faced each other, and whispered something to Taiga's ear while blowing his breath while his hand was still on Taiga's hip. — Tú, tú eres el imán y yo soy el metal Me voy acercando y voy armando el plan Sólo con pensarlo se acelera el pulso Oh, yeah... Daiki tapped his shoe on the floor and now his arms wrapped around Taiga's body. The eyes of the deep color of the ocean stared Taiga deep into his soul. And Taiga thinks they are really the right moment. — Ya, ya me está gustando más de lo normal... Todos mis sentidos van pidiendo más... Esto hay que tomarlo sin ningún apuro... Fix it back, until Taiga thinks he will fall. But Daiki caught it appropriately, until their position seemed to do a dance, maybe a tango or maybe a flamenco that Taiga thought. Although in the end not both. — Des-pa-cito Quiero respirar tu cuello despacito Deja que te diga cosas al oído Para que te acuerdes si no estás conmigo — Des-pa-cito Quiero desnudarte a besos despacito.. Firmo en las paredes de tu laberinto Y hacer de tu cuerpo todo un manuscrito Daiki threw a gentle smile at Taiga before kissing his forehead. Daiki thought he needed to praise himself for singing his lyrics appropriately while teasing Taiga. Then Daiki let Taiga out in the middle of the room and circled it while patting his hand on the air. Make Taiga laugh amused. — Quiero ver bailar tu pelo Quiero ser tu ritmo... Que le enseñes a mi boca Tus lugares favoritos Taiga smiled sheepishly before trying to get closer to Daiki, he thought he wanted to hide his face on a man neck. But Daiki just touched their noses, before retreating backward to finish the song. — Déjame sobrepasar tus zonas de peligro Hasta provocar tus gritos Y que olvides tu apellido Taiga saw a small fang sticking out of Daiki's thin lips and it made him furious to pinch his muscular arms. Daiki took a breath before he started singing the hard lyrics—which he practiced until he felt his tongue split open. — Si te pido un beso ven dámelo Yo sé que estás pensándolo Llevo tiempo intentándolo Mami, estoy dando y dándolo Sabes que tu corazón conmigo te hace bom bom Sabes que esa beba está buscando de mi bom bom Daiki signaled Taiga for him to come closer, before pulling the red-haired man to sway with him. — Ven prueba de mi boca para ver como te sabe Quiero, quiero, quiero ver cuánto amor a ti te cabe Yo no tengo prisa, yo me quiero dar el viaje Empecemos lento, después salvaje Taiga laughed a few times while Daiki screeched his forehead as he sang the lyrics. — Pasito a pasito, suave suavecito Nos vamos pegando, poquito a poquito Cuando tú me besas con esa destreza Veo que eres malicia con delicadeza Daiki makes funny movements by shaking his shoulders—or just Kagami who thinks so. Seeing how her effort to look romantic Taiga could not possibly not give him a short kip in him dark cheek. — Pasito a pasito, suave suavecito Nos vamos pegando, poquito a poquito Y es que esa belleza es un rompecabezas Pero pa' montarlo aquí tengo la pieza Now Daiki walked forward-backward as he shuffled his shoulders and flicked his hand. While Taiga does what he can. He never really danced before. But Taiga thinks Daiki is just as awkward as him too. His warm breath tickled him. And they rocked while hugging tightly. Missed some lyrics that should be sung. Taiga thinks it's because Daiki is tired. That means talking in a language that is not a daily language would be difficult. — Des-pa-cito Vamos a hacerlo en una playa en Puerto Rico Hasta que las olas griten "¡Ay, Bendito!" Para que mi sello se quede contigo And it becomes the last lyrics that Daiki sung before he closes his show by force by stealing a deep and forceful kiss from Taiga. Make Taiga laugh in their kisses. "Why?" He asked with a pout while their music player still rang, buzzing the song quietly. "I just do not think you're going to sing in Spanish," Taiga replied as he kissed him in his dark blue hair. "My friend in the office says giving surprise to your partner who shows your feelings and a candlelight dinner will make your partner feel he is the luckiest person in the world." Taiga smiled "Of course I'm lucky, who else will see Aomine Daiki wearing Maji Burger's mascot in the middle of a basketball court to say its feelings, if not me." His dark cheeks flushed "Did I tell you not to talk about it anymore," he said angrily, while Taiga just laughed amused before kissing him again. "Feliz cumpleaños, querido. Sorry I have more time for work, I hope you will not take me off for that. " Taiga laughed "Even if I'm going to throw you away, I think it's because of your often annoying attitude." Daiki laughs before lifting his waist and turning Taiga in the air. Makes Taiga screaming afraid—just imagine, their weight and height are not much different. "I love you," Daiki said before kissing Taiga slowly. .. Fin ..
