Dream pretends to ponder this deeply.

“A nice spring day,” he starts, “not too cold or too hot, we have a picnic on a hill… with a beautiful view of the city of Verona below us.”

He smiles at the image, continuing, “I shiver in the light breeze, underdressed, and Pedro Pascal lends me his jacket-” Hob bursts out laughing at that- “he lends me his jacket, hand feeds me strawberries and italian cheese, we drink Chardonnay...”

Hob laughs so hard it makes him bend in half. “Pedro Pascal??? Pedro Pascal hand feeds you strawberries?!”

Dream gives him a cheeky grin. “Yes.”

“Okay, incredible. I’m skying in the Alps with Keanu Reeves if you even care,” Hob parries.

Dream smiles at him beatifically. “I don’t. Pedro’s taking me to Teatro alla Scala to see Carmen in the evening.”

By this point Hob is straight up wiping tears of laughter from his eyes. “Oh my god. Okay. You absolute madman, you win this round. I concede defeat.”

okay so basically reality shifting is the process of using affirmations, manifestation, meditation, and a few other things to shift your consciousness into another, mroe desired reality. its based off of the multiverse theory, that there are infinite universes with every impossible possibility.

some use it as a way of escapism, some use it as a way to explore various fictional universes, some use it as a way to date whoever it is that they have a crush on. there are some who literally keep everything the same except for one small change. it honestly depends on the person and their end goal

and the great thing about it is that you can make it whatever you want. because its based off the idea of infinite universes, there will always be at least one universe that perfectly fits everyones most desired existence.

and it is real. its not a mental illness, its not schizophrenia or hallucinations, its not some huge joke. its real. there are hundreds of thousands of people that do it, if not more. i do understand your scepticism though, it does sound kind of wild at first, but i promise that its real.

I had this very strange dream last night, but, being honest, it was one of my best dreams ever.

(Slight spoilers for Nope under the cut)

I was watching Nope for the first time, but this time it was in a movie theater, not at home. It played out normally, still terrifying, perhaps some details and scenes were fucked up because dreams do that, but then the credits roll.

I remember I was crying because of the last scene when they finally kill Jean Jacket and OJ is in the distance, looking back at Em. The screen goes black and it's silent, and then a microphone is tapped and Jupe of all people speaks, short and single name credits start rolling, the screen still black.

Now, I don't remember exactly what he said, so I'm gonna have to romanticize and fill in a few gaps, but he said something along the lines of this:

"Hello? Okay, uh.. Well, welcome to the Star Lasso Experience! Now, the original plan for this show was to show you all a discovery I made, but it kinda disappeared, heh. So, instead of that, I suppose it's about time I try singing again!"

"I assume some of you remember this one scene in Kid Sheriff, where Jupiter sings to distract [typical villain in a western kids show], yeah? Well, that was actually the first time I ever sang in front of a large crowd, even after training for months. I was really scared, but the people loved it, so I thought I should try singing again today. So, without further ado, I dedicate this cover to my gorgeous wife, Amber. I'd dedicate this to my kids and lovely staff, but it's a love song, so.."

Jupe and the crowd chuckle. I started thinking "Weird way to roll credits, but okay, I guess."

The black screen becomes an animation of the view of a sunset from atop a hill, with a view of the Haywoods' house and Jupiter's Claim, the credits are less vague and more specific. Jupe exhales shakily, and starts singing Cannonball by Kiesza throughout the credits.

Such a weird fever dream, I want Steven Yeun to cover Cannonball now, I'd listen to that on loop for YEARS if it existed lmao

again, very angry that hollywood seems to think that roman history stopped with antony cleopatra and then had some minor resurgences around jesus and gladiator when there's a story about augustus appearing unexpectedly as a surprise witness to a trial to defend the honor his very recently deceased beloved nephew (a few months after he himself had nearly died) and he literally wasn't even called by either side he just showed up out of the blue and said he was gonna testify and the defense attorney got mad and asked him why (apparently very rudely) and augustus just said that it was in the public interest that he testify so he was gonna do it. this guy was the brother in law of one of augustus's best friends. he later tried to kill him.

RIGHT RIGHT so Xero. i am soooo normal about him. i think i once saw a head canon about how he could've been one of the first bugs to be infected and ok ok hear me out: WHAT IF he was some sort of general or advisor or something close to PK. Not just close as in status, but close relationship-wise. so maybe at this point, the infection was just starting to take hold, just something bubbling underwater: you know it's there, you just can't really know exactly WHAT it is. maybe there's some denial in there too. PK maybe thought that it wasn't much of a big deal at first, but then anxiety starts creeping up on him as more and more infection cases pop up, and when Xero got infected and started acting in ways, initially only being more rash than normal but slowly becoming more violent and his judgement getting clouded, firmly believing that strength and violence were the answer (as shown by his dialogue). The insanity reaches its peak and he turns against PK, probably believing him to be a foolish idiot for not doing much against the infection, and not really leaving PK with another option (or maybe he DIDNT want to take another option again because of the traitor example shit) he obviously loses (also his four arms get cut off in that fight. another hc. something something being powerless to fight). AND also his grave is supposed to be a warning to traitors and such, but what if in some tiny part of the PK, he also intended it as a memorial for someone previously close to him, now lost to the same light that was taking his subjects and kingdom? maybe after that, he took a smidge of Xero's approach, and took more severe measures (*coughs* the vessels)

DONT TELL ME IM LOOKING TOO MUCH INTO IT. I KNOW HE HAS LIKE 8 LINES OF DIALOGUE. but i am being insane and free
