I think the hate at bsr from the antis (seems they can't decide if it's "nothing new" so "boring" or totally new but "trash" lmao) isn't that the drama doesn't change, but the history doesn't. I truly think they'd only be happy if the next show they watch changed the past so Anne was guilty or the end wasn't about Elizabeth being a great ruler and Anne's legacy. Anne has no children, is executed, and Henry restores Mary to the throne as the only legitimate heir on May 1536. Sounds like some 17th century fanfictive script might be what the doctor ordered. 

I can't really take them seriously about how unappealing or alienating or whatever else it was because it's like...clearly not that much if you all watched it from beginning to end?

It feels like they're torn between wishing she had been Queen for longer because they're convinced if she had, she would be less famous/'overrated' versus wishing she had married Henry Percy or something because they believe that somehow means Henry would have been married to Catherine forever and Mary would have reigned for 100 Utopian years and not be remembered with an epithet attached to her name.

Not once did I say I am searching for tomdaya content, if anything it’s the opposite. The spideychelle and PeterMJ tags are flooded with paparazzi photos, long and detailed timelines of real life people like creepy fucking stalkers, obsessing over who wore what, and more that I never wanted to see when searching for stuff about the characters. It DOESN’T matter that they’re a real life couple but i genuinely wonder sometimes if 80% of this fandom is able to distinguish the difference between fictional characters and the actors that play them because of the content flooding the tags.

I have literally written 3% of all MCU spideychelle fic that exists on AO3. I’ve written almost 2% of every work tagged “Michelle Jones” on AO3.

If there’s anyone that wants more for MJ and for their relationship, it’s me.

People are so distracted by this "dig at Matty" they can't see what's right in front of their faces. Heroin with an e = heroine. As in, the female hero of a story. The joke is that the one to "save" Taylor won't be any of these jokers dressing up as kings. It's a woman. A HEROINE. Not a hero.

And then we get a football metaphor everyone will assume is about Travis, even though Karlie's love of football is well-documented. Do we really think Travis cares more about the beard he's made his meal ticket than he does about winning a trophy? Yeah, right. The days of wasted celebration with no Taylor in sight really give that impression. The thirst traps he was liking on Instagram while "dating" Taylor really show he only has eyes for her. Totally.

Meanwhile we have a million songs where Taylor tells us all her obviously-Karlie lover ever wanted was her.

I can't see The Alchemy any other way than as a Karlie comeback song. Bring it home, Karlie! We're all rooting for you! Go! Fight! Win! 🏆
