One thing I like about Nancy Bobofit is that her bullying Percy is taken seriously. Because in pretty much all of the stuff I've watched whenever a girl is bullying a boy, they either pull the stupid bullshit excuse that "she's only bullying him bc she likes him" or they treat the whole situation as a joke.

In fact, in the og script for the awful fucking movie they changed Nancy into a boy (in the final version they cut her out entirely and btw I recommend watching Ashlee Tayla's yt vid in which she reads the og script) which I'm guessing is because they just thought that general audiences wouldn't be able to take a girl bullying a boy seriously.

No more fighting!!! The movie and book versions of the camp halfblood kids are all friends and get along because fuck you!! They all see the movie versions as like their cool older siblings okay!!

Picture it:

Book Percy and Movie Percy venting about their shitty step dads and how much they love their mom and then a lengthy discussion on what it was like to save mom and leave Grover versus leave mom behind.

Movie annabeth and book annabeth comparing absolutely boneheaded moves their boyfriends have done in the past and giggling.

Movie Grover lookin at book Grover and saying “Look at this boy, he gets absolutely no bitches, I love him”, movie Grover will then go on to say “excuse me, he asked for no fuckin pickles.” When a fast food worker messes up their order.

Movie luke trying to explain new gaming technology to book luke since he isn’t allowed to use technology.

He’s just like “bro, dude, there’s this game called half life 2 and also portal 2” “Why aren’t you telling me about half-life 1 or portal 1 first?” “Shutupshutupshutupshutthefuckup-“.
