Piglet & romantic academia might seem odd, but in New Adventures of Winnie Pooh we see him writing poems & reciting them to his friends, and (if we leave out the changes that Tigger makes) they're preeetty romantic (not in the flirty way, you know what I mean). Also, he can enjoy little things in life, he likes decorating his house & is fond of beauty.

Gopher. Do I need to explain more? He spends most of his time in the dark tunnels (even though he's afraid of the dark), he's very logical, down-to-earth & doesn't seem to enjoy the fun/lighthearted activities that much. His human, modern wardrobe would definitely be VERY dark, sophisticated & edgy.

Okay, I think we can agree that Eeyore is such a relatable, underrated donkey. He seems passive & pessimistic but on the inside, he has a soft side & he's seen enjoying some quiet, creative activities. In The Book of Pooh, there's this episode called "You Can Lead Eeyore To Books" where he doesn't enjoy reading until he finds a book with sad poems that he loves. He's known to be quiet & sometimes philosophical, he can get very deep too.

I think, Tigger's association it's pretty self-explanatory. I can see him enjoying unconventional ways of learning, be curious about banned literature and have a messed up daily schedule with little to no routine. Tbh, if you look more into chaotic academia, it seems perfect for him BUT on the same time, pirate academia would also fit. There are multiple episodes where the friends play pirates, and you can see how much Tigger enjoys it. I guess, he would totally be fascinated by pirates, love piratecore, watch movies, read pirate adventure novels etc. He's also quite imaginative.

Christopher Robin's personality is rather "unspectacular". I don't want to say anything negative against him, but he seems quite normal & classy. His bedroom is literally described as one that could belong to any little boy. He doesn't stand out a lot. (He has a lot of good qualities but what I want to say is that he would represent the classic one among the academia aesthetics).

Kanga is the mom friend™️ (while being a mom). She's known to be friendly, patient & she's more in the background, usually not joining the adventures. She's a homebody & ensures that everyone is fine.

Ok, I admit that I partly link Lumpy to pastel academia because of his color BUT it's not the only reason. He's very soft, sensitive & I believe that his light purple suits his personality very well. He can be anxious & shy, but also adventurous, playful & creative. In the Heffalump Movie, he plays the more cautious role next to Roo while playing together & exploring the 100 Acre Wood. In the Halloween movie, he's the one who's scared of the spooky stuff. In some lesser known show, he spends the nights at Roo's place & gets homesick. But he's still curious, sweet & always wants to play.

Roo reminds me of the lesser known kid academia aesthetic. Of course his age plays a role, but crayons, elementary school learning styles, childlike stationary & clothes,... I think the aesthetic fits him very well. He's playful, imaginative & loves to learn new things. Kawaii academia also reminds me of Roo, I can't really explain it.

Rabbit, the pragmatic, practical & sometimes strict one who wants everyone to follow the rules, has to be linked to science academia. I initially thought of cottagecore but this was just because of him gardening. He's more on the logical, head-over-feelings side which is frequently shown. He can become a bit too focused on facts when it'd be more important to listen to emotions. He prefers to make an exact plan & actually enjoys following the instructions (like, when planning a party, celebrating Easter or when he was overly fixated on the map Owl drew while searching for Christopher Robin).

And Pooh is so connected & attentive to nature & simple things in life, I can't think of another academia aesthetic that would fit better. Cottagecore academia is about connecting traditional academia & a passion for learning to the cottagecore lifestyle. Pooh might seem like he's not paying a lot of attention to his surroundings, but he's actually heavily influenced by them. He goes to his special spot for Thinking™️, he enjoys nature & his actions are often influenced by the wellbeing of his friends. He spends a lot of time with deciding on a nice gift, making someone happy etc. And, of course, his daily life focuses a lot on honey.

Owl seems to be the only one who really fits the academia aesthetic in the traditional way. He loves reading, long discussions, a good cup of tea and he gets very passionate about knowledge. He'd also definitely have a soft spot for vintage things. I think he would prefer the lighter side of the academia aesthetic, as I can't see any of the dark academia characteristics in him

During battle, however, and in very close-quarters combat, he can change instruments and use an ocarina made out of black porcelain instead.

He/him. Average height as far as dwarves go. Long, slightly lank hair. Has the most magnificent beard in the world. Wears a large beaded bracelet on his left arm, (it currently has 2 rows) and each bead represents an unforgettable moment in his life. He carved the beads himself, of course.

Because he lives in the wild, he takes, trades, or buys clothing he likes or thinks will be useful. Just in case. He's a little bit of a hoarder that way. Sometimes wears mismatched clothes. Like a heavily repaired studded leather armor and an expensive-looking snow-white human noblewoman's fur coat.

Skin color: They have vitiligo, so mint (#9FE1BD) and an even lighter mint (#D4FEF0). Their horns ombre from their skin color to a darker green (#0A3B25).

They/them. A little above average in height for a tiefling. Their horns curve upwards and outwards, then back and down, and then curving upwards again, ending it pointed tips, which are decorated in dangling opal and silver jewelry.

Their clothes are flowing and in cool tones to complement their skin, eyes, and (dyed) hair.

She/her. On the taller side of dragonborns. Definitely taller than Marsh. Muscled, stern-looking. Has a jagged scar that goes from her left jaw to just under her right eye.

Upper two horns angle up, then back, then up. Lower two horns angle up and out, back, then up and out again.

She/her! Jill is...kinda small for a halfling, but she's gonna turn into big animals later so that's okay.

I like what the girl hobbits are wearing in Lord of the Rings, so that's my fashion! I don't wanna go barefoot, though. I want really sturdy footwear, but I want pretty flower designs on them.

I also want to have a shoulder bag! A normal one that can hold a normal amount, so I can gather pretty rocks and have somewhere to put my notebook and color pencils. Do those exist in DND?

I can occasionally have a beard, especially in the cooler months. Nothing as magnificent as Reggie's, though. I suppose it would look like my beard in 1389. Which...only Death and Dream have seen, sorry. Uh, imagine Thorin's beard in the first The Hobbit movie, I suppose. In the hotter months, I think I'll just stick to the stubble.

Clothes. Dark in color, hidden pockets everywhere for knives, ropes, caltrops? Other rogue stuff. Think maybe Bucky Barnes in The Winter Soldier movie. Yeah, that's a good look.

Goldie casually walked through the Money Bin, although it was difficult to not get nervous with the atmosphere here today. She hasn’t heard much yet, but the older woman had a feeling it probably had to deal with Scrooge. Whatever the case, she’d have her lover’s back, through and through.

As she walked up to his office, the duck realized the door was already open, something Scrooge rarely ever did. Not only that, but his chair was faced towards the window, another unusual occurrence. Goldie then took a deep breath and knocked on the doorframe. “Hey, Scrooge? Is everything okay?” She asks softly as she walks closer to his desk.

As Goldie spoke and startled the FemScrooge, it sent a bit of a chill down her spine. She wondered what she would think of this new Scrooge. "Oh, Goldie, w-w-what a surprise," the FemScrooge said in her absolute gruffest voice, trying to sound as close to the normal Scrooge as possible." She didn't turn her chair around. "Um, you'll have to excuse me. I've got a bit of laryngitis."

ෆ this is what I imagine for each love hard svt member’s acnh island:

seungcheol: casual player. doesn’t use custom designs and uses the provided paths. definitely has a villager neighborhood and is trying to complete the robot hero. doesn’t know time traveling is an option.

jeonghan: stalk market enthusiast. he probably has that island where people have to pay him in order to go to his island to catalog items (either irl or through nookazon). sets a 5 min limit for visitors (10 if they're nice).

joshua: nightcore but his island is named and modeled after his favorite nightclub. uses a ton of floor lights. island looks like a giant rave or festival. definitely has a water booth section 🥴

jun: kidcore 🥺 loves the pastels and all of his villagers are cat villagers. lolly is his best friend. gifts all of the villagers cat-related items. definitely says sorry if he bumps into a villager.

soonyoung: junglecore. do I even need to explain what kind of villager he collects? anyway his island is lush with a ton of greenery but there’s this random gym area for his jock villagers. definitely uses tiger flooring.

wonwoo: casual player like seungcheol. but the thing is he doesn’t really decorate at all. he’s goal-oriented and makes it his goal to complete the museum and all of the nook milage tasks. loves fishing.

jihoon: his parents are interior decorators so you KNOW his island is an elegantcore island. it’s modeled after europe and he creates his own custom designs. there are island tour videos of his island online.

mingyu: japanese-inspired island. i just know he was fighting for his life trying to find shino. has a beautiful rock garden that took forever to create. island is put together just like him.

minghao: horrorcore but it’s so aesthetically pleasing. so more like a witchcore. uses a ton of wells and tombstones. will time travel to meteor showers. rodney anti.

seokmin: naturalcore. has his own island lore. lives for the drama so he follows his villagers around and knows which villagers are beefing and which are dating. definitely has beef with some villagers ngl.

seungkwan: bought the game when it first came out, and gave it to jun after a month. couldn’t care less about it.

hansol: towncore. flattened his cottagecore island and is currently building a suburban towncore island with diagonal paving. travels back and forth between paradise planning and his island. doesn’t like acnh spoliers so his jaw DROPPED after he completed 30 vacation homes.

chan: piratecore/beachcore. uses a ton of rusty jail bars and barrels. included a section just for redd at his secret beach. absolutely furious he can’t catch a giraffe stag. hates catching beetles in general.

Lowkey I really like the idea of Piratecore becoming the Next Big Aesthetic Craze to follow Cottagecore of this past year.  Like, billowy white tops cinched in at the waist with belted black trousers that are tucked into black boots.  Tons of rings of many colors, some with meanings, others that just look pretty.  Perpetual smirks, even while swordfighting.  Sea shanties.  Annotated maps, candles, and wax seals broken only by lovers.  Self-confidence, self-acceptance.  Accepting of others, too.  Ambitious, driven.  Hunting for treasure with your best mates, enjoying the ride.  Salty spray and wind in the hair.

It’s like a historybounded grunge.  Aspects of Dark Academia and Goblincore, with a focus on the sea, of course.  It’s not for me, but I love the idea.  Unfortunately, I do get awfully seasick.

Now that I think about it... it’s funny how many of the major aesthetics recently have been going back further in time.  Dark Academia felt very early/mid twentieth century, cottagecore feels like a loose return to the nineteenth century (emphasis on loose), Piratecore would probably be a return to the... eighteenth(?) century (I’m too lazy to ctrl+t and look it up (that was a lie It was mostly late seventeenth and early eighteenth, as I’d suspected))... If we go back far enough maybe people will realize that cloaks are valid and deserve to return.  In the meantime, perhaps we can exchange those hideous fanny packs (though, the kinds that are worn around the shoulder like my photo-friend would wear his ain’t too too bad) for some super stylish eighteenth century pockets?  Hm?  Corsets (of the decorative style, mostly similar to a bust bodice) are, apparently, making a return, so why not?

Anyway if y’all start seeing pirate-related things on my feed... this is why.

In other news, I’ve begun watching Wandavision with my dad and the more I think about it the more I like it (though I don’t particularly care for the way that we’re being strung along with only half-hour episodes released once a week through a streaming service).  So!  Actually writing out the title makes me realize that it’s more than just a play on their ship name, its also a play on words from “television,” I suppose, since there are many aspects of it that resemble old 50s(?) sitcoms (like I Love Lucy).  First of all, I adore the humor, I just think it’s really silly.  It feels so odd for a main-ticket Marvel featured show but I think it’s grand.  I also love the dresses.  AND I love the sinister undertones that pop up.  Based on the YouTube comments under the trailer which I watched a few months or so ago, fans are guessing that it might be an alternate reality that Wanda created for herself after Vision died to cope (she’s done crazier in the comics when she gets mad).  The question of the truth behind whatever this show is keeps me engaged, and I also just think it’s really cute.

Personally, I’m looking forward to the Bucky/Falcon show (and, I suppose, to the Loki show to a lesser extent).  That one is sure to be good, with action and comedy, probably like another Agents of SHIELD.  But!  We’ll have to wait and see.  This is sure to be an interesting phase for Marvel’s main universe.  I hope it does well (I’m sure it will).

dang dream is such a good villain.

and he admitted to blowing up the community house (after Ranboo admitted to it on Techno’s stream though??  but!  he said he didn’t remember it, so maybe Dream wrote in Ranboo’s book of memories that Ranboo did it to frame Ranboo  OR OR OR okay so if this ~Dreamon~ is a real thing right what if it’s just one entity that hops around?)

oh ok ok ok so Dream made the prison.  makes sense.  but wait wait wait apparently the prison was meant for someone else and dream won’t admit who that was supposed to be.  ranboo?  techno?  hm.  don’t know.

anyway i do feel bad for tubbo being used as leverage.  not even as leverage.  dream’s made it up in his mind to kill tubbo on his last canon life and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.  how they gon’ get out of this one?  a cavalry, perhaps?  there’s allllll those people still online...  a... cavalry  a CAVALRY??!?!?!?  There’s like fifteen people and I’m cryingngngnng

waaaaait wait wait okay so the nether is hell and dream said that the big ol nether portal was his way home so, like, ok going off of the Dreamon thing what if the Dreamon’s home is hell, you know?

ugh there’s really no reason for me to be so invested in this but that’s not stopping me from being so smiley I’m so happy rn??  this feels like a whole anime omg.  and Tommy gives off really big main character vibes with him being the youngest on the server and super charismatic and everything.  Like, he reminds me of Natsu from Fairy Tail (hhhhhh I’d love to actually finish that anime but they had a competition arc that was lasting so long that I just stopped but I had really been enjoying it.)

GHOSTB-- NOT GHOSTBUR??? WHO THE HECC--  Wait is it... is it Wilbur?  it is wilbur.  from the afterlife.  and... ok ok so Wilbur doesn’t want to come back to life.  (by the way, this is a disembodied voice that’s entered the vc while Tommy and Tubbo were celebrating with the disks)  yuckk Wilbur’s ghosty echo-y voice is real slimy, like Dream’s.  WOAH Ghost Wilbur (who’s voice faded from the plane of the living, and is notably not Ghostbur) thinks Dream is going to bring Schlatt back.  That’s baaaaaaaaaad.  (though I’m not actually sure that schlatt would agree to return lol, but i’m doubtful that they’d put wilbur saying that in the script if he hadn’t already agreed to it so idk we’ll see)

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOOW THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!  and i’m kinda happy for the child.  imprisoning his enemy.  good for him.  good for the whole server.  probably.  we’ll see if Dream cashes in that favor from Techno.  While I don’t think Dream planned for this, I do this he’s scheming his way out of it already.

Today I’m thankful for... well, I’m thankful for the whole lot of fun I had with the big showdown on the DSMP.  I didn’t think that watching a green man do weird Minecraft challenges would lead to me watching a series that is responsible for large amounts of my serotonin (dopamine?), but, alas, here we are.
