this is my old woman moment of the day and it's happening at barely 7 am but I have spent the past hour searching for clear rubber phone cases. with which to protect my device. I decided on rubber after bad experiences with other materials. I have firmly made up my mind I would like the case to be clear and made of rubber and suitable for an android. and I simply cannot get through the apple ads to find this item. I think it all should be less difficult

just got my new phone!!

goddamn that thing is heavy. it weighs 40g more than my old phone and somehow I hadn't considered how much that actually is (I mean, it's 25% of the old one's weight)...

and the screen is so big. oh my god. I could absolutely not use this thing without a grip. the case I got is relatively thick so I literally can't reach the opposite side of the screen with my thumb :') my hands are so small.

now I get to set everything up, yay 🥰 (that's my favourite part lol)

#this time I put the screen protector on before ever touching the screen #I think that was a good idea because it is PERFECT #not a single bubble or tiny speck of dirt or anything 😌 thank god now I don't have to get increasingly annoyed about that for months #currently still using the old phone obviously. haven't even set up the wifi yet haha #yay I'm so excited! #personal

#went to the toilet at my layover and when i got back to the gate and took my phone out (was in coat pocket draped over carry on) #giant spiderweb of cracks across the bottom half #no clue what happened #and of course 1) i don't use a screen protector and 2) nowhere in the airport sells them #and i my second flight lands at like 1045 pm so chances of buying on tonight are basically nonexistent #🙃 and i now have to either figure out how to get the screen replaced or order a new phone once i get home #randomness
