I've dealt with mild paranoia before and for people who haven't experienced it: count yourself lucky on this front, support people who are paranoid/prone to paranoia, and don't go around trying to intentionally trigger people's paranoia.

Even mild paranoia is exhausting, terrifying, and wholly lonely. I wouldn't wish even the mildest, tamest bouts of paranoia on anybody.
