#ive been running around stuck on Babysitter Duty for the past three days and the teacher only gave us any instructions on thursday yet #somehow expected a full paper done and edited by sunday. even if i wasnt stuck on babysitter duty she'd get a shitty paper just due to how #little TIME that is to get things done. but because i am on babysitter duty uhhh..... well so far there's no paper #ive been spending practically full days having to take care of my sister and i cant just Ignore Her so i havent done my paper while watchin #her because again: my focus needs to be on Her. and shes incredibly loud which makes it super hard to focus. fun combo /s #so i was like 'i'll just stay up Really Late and do it then' but that hasn't worked because my sister WONT GO TO BED if im awake. i was up #until 4am last night hoping she'd fall asleep and shut up and i could work but Nope! #and then i got too tired to even care anymore #i've tried explaining this to others and they're just like 'ok well you just need to find a way to make it work :/' which is very much #easier said than done! and im scared about this paper because this teacher doesnt accept late work at all for pretty much any reason #and im sure she wont understand my situation. because shes also the teacher that didnt understand that i didnt have the textbook on time #because it was still being shipped and i dont control the rate at which book ships and she was like #'..........okay well you still need to have the book by tomorrow at least <3' when i told her the book had Just shipped and idk when i'd ge #the dumb thing. so yknow i dont have high hopes about this #also just as extra 'make stuff more difficult' i have zero accommodations because my mom cant keep track of my fucking IEPs and they wont #let me have accommodations unless i have that and idk how to get a copy anymore. so i've also been running around with no help in that area #and it's not great </3 #idk im just stressed out and frustrated and i Want To Cry :) #vent

Gosh aren’t they gorgeous tho ♥ Especially the latest and largest, though I have to give all the credit to the paper on that one haha, it’s stunning IRL, I could almost stare at the gold lattice forever rather than read, but I’m so happy with how it turned out between the pages as well!

My Drinking Game as another test run, I got the spacing how I wanted it! Yay! It’s so much handsomer and less cramped! Also I gotta say, if it wasn’t such a large usage of paper, this would be my ideal way of checking for typos - I found a couple after setting it down to ink lol, they’ve been fixed now at least ♪ Paired here with the emerge, transformed three-parter, one of my all-time-favourites <3 I reread it the night I finished it and cried again, a little bit of tender mercy always wrecks me hhhh ♥ There are so many beautiful evocative lines! I’m so happy to hold it ♪ And as you can see above, that was the one that got the cute little ghost dust jacket :D

Another test run of what I’m calling volume 1 of my Vargas Drabbles lol, so not including Have you lost your mind? since that one’s currently unfinished. I do fully intend to print it once it’s done tho :3c Hopefully that one will cause me fewer problems! I hate measuring, so I may have flubbed two covers before finally getting this one into good enough shape XP And my red yarn is still in storage so >.> Did I go purchase another ball of red yarn? I’ll never tell. You can’t tell me it doesn’t look great as a bookmark tho <3

And my current happiest! Ah!! It turned out fantastic on all counts! The cover paper obviously, as I couldn’t Not lead with that, but also the size of the spine and the way the pages settled against each other while glueing - I used a different type of paper for this one and I think I’m completely converted over, it feels amazing to work with. Whatever I was using before had to have been like 15lbs lol, I’m literally just using normal 20lb printer paper but it feels and looks and behaves so much nicer <3 The size of Helix also allowed for a slightly larger bookmark, which was perfect because we had this soft gold ribbon that was all of a couple millimeters wider than the other ribbons/yarn I’d been using, and it looks so so so pretty with the gold detailing!! I’ve put it between Ch. 1 and 2 and getting to see the actual physical size differences of the chapters is so fun ♥

#Hhhhhh crafting is so funnnnn <3 <3 <3 #Fully intending to make more - I have the next set picked out and the accompanying dust jacket to go with it haha #I've decided to stick to dust jackets for the plain non-textured covers for the most part #It does hide my detailing on the covers but it also hides if I haven't done anything to the fronts as well! Haha ♪ #I added a Captain/ZEX caption to Drinking Game like I did with ZEX/DAX but the latter is still the prettiest by far <3 #Their names were made to go together you could say hehe ♪♫ #You can kinda see I tried my hand at making a custom cover for the Vargas drabbles as well - it kiiiinda turned out? Lol #As stated I hate measuring and the lines turned out wonky :P But it's done and I've reread it for typos lol #I was worried I'd find rereading my own work cringy since most of those are older than either of my SCII fics but no it was nice actually :) #I did actually go supply shopping yet again for these since I'm having so much fun with it hehe <3 <3 #The yarn and the cover paper I used for Helix were both good finds :) I got a whole booklet of space-themed cardstock! :D #That one was one of the lesser space ones hehe ♪ I had a couple other considerations - like a yellow-on-white constellation one ♫ #But I think I'm the happiest with this one! It's beautiful and I feel like it reflects the Idle Rich themes a little bit hehe <3 #Hhhhhhh it's so nice to read them like I would a book ♥ I enjoy reading them on my iPod but there's something about The Experience hehe #Being able to hold it and place a physical bookmark and not having the glare of a screen or if the scroll goes funny lol #Just exactly what it is! And I can pull any of them at any point! #I actually had a moment where I wanted to read one of them but didn't want to move from my spot to physically go get it #Only to realize later I was holding my iPod at the time and could've read it that way as it's still very much available online lol #SCII #LAC #Vargas

It's so nice of you to check in like this, thank you! 🥰 Honestly, just about every health issue I have decided to flare in the weeks leading up to the show, so I was fairly nervous going into it, but it all actually went really well! (Of course, my body essentially insisted I go into hibernation the entire week after the show but that was inevitable tbh 😅)

The night started off a little iffy when I was waiting for my brother by a concession stand and a passerby stepped on a stray ketchup packet and it exploded all over my legs and bags. 😃 But after a brief pity party and an emergency purchase of unnecessarily expensive bottled water (crazy long bathroom lines limited my options), I got myself cleaned up enough to appreciate the humor of literally getting sauced at The 5SOS Show. 😌 (Sadly, that particular shirt was already sold out or else I would've got it to commemorate lol)

But except for that unexpected moment, it was a fantastic evening! I won't go into details about the show so that I don't have to spoiler tag this post (🥲) but I had the most amazing time. Even though I've obviously been following the tour online, there's really nothing like experiencing it firsthand and I still found myself floored by certain moments.

I'm always happy to see 5SOS but I suppose because of the uncertainty I felt leading up to this particular show, I just remember feeling so, so grateful to be there. Overwhelming bursts of gratitude and joy to the point of tears a couple times, which is crazy because I am far from a soft girlie. It was just a really beautiful experience and I'm so thankful to have had it! 💙

#yes even grateful for the saucing incident 🤣🤣🤣 #honestly even that worked out - it was mostly clear corn syrupy stickiness that got on me not red globs of ketchup #i was given a plastic merch bag instead of one of the branded paper ones so my stuff was actually protected really well #& i was wearing fishnets so cleanup of myself was also very easy #the hard part was just getting over myself and the emotional damage 🤣🤣 but it quickly became funny tbh #and then like i was saying as far as the show goes it just felt really good like. in my soul. i needed that. #proud of myself for pushing thru to go and i really just appreciated it all #and even tho getting out of the forum was a nightmare #I was waiting so long to get picked up that I ended up getting a bootleg hoodie for only $20 in the parking lot lmaoooo #oh and i loved walking around the forum before the show and seeing what song lyrics they chose to decorate the outside with #it was just a really really fun night and worth the extended recovery time lol #thanks for asking! 🥰😘 #ask #anon #the 5sos show tour la

#spielzeugkaiser talks #to be completely honest - there is not much difference #my body is deteriorating #migraine is baddd #but so far I'm handling it! #I'm a bit worried because I'll be working full time again from next week on and that means drastically less time to rest #as long as I'm always one step ahead (organization wise) I'm still capable of acting and don't go into simple reaction mode #like doing prep now writing papers now getting stuff now done so I can pull them out of my desk in autum and winter when I need them #but I also need good grades and think about if I want to do a doctorate and study and publish and start to design a study #and decide on a topic and finish the things that are already running and go on congresses and juggle all three jobs without dropping one #and why is it all so expensiveee I'm a fool #but also do the MAIN job right #uff uff #also I really should do more sport to help with the migraines and the overall pain level #oh well #so far I'm doing good! stressed but I'm currently managing it #I would enjoy a break - I fought for it on all fronts and got one in October but maybe I can take three days off in August to go hiking #or something like that! that would be nice #sorry for the rant 😅 #I used this to organize my thoughts for a moment; now that it's written down it's better and out of the head! #my body is bad overall but my mood not - I do believe that I can do it :) It just won't be nice at times 😂😅🙈
