Altogether it seems we'll have around 500 auditions! And for that we can't thank everyone enough.

We also really appreciate those that have an investment into this project and who have gone the extra mile to pitch ideas and become friendly and close to the core team. We're excited that you're excited about this game. And it pushes us to work hard.

I want to take an extra minute to explain how the casting will work so that there's no confusion, or just to be informative to those whose interests are piqued: The top core team members will each choose their favorite for each role. Then, we'll pass along the remaining top 1/3rd or so auditions to our metal slime role members (those who have done things like donate, or buy Discord perks, or have a popular idea implemented) and they will vote on a favorite.

After all of these top voices are picked, a reveal video will be released in the 2nd half of January 2021 showcasing some of the game's player to NPC interaction (which includes the voice acting). The remaining potential playerbase/public can then cast their vote for which voice they like best for each. These will then be tallied and the winner of the roles will be announced early February 2021.

IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THE FIRST CUT or are not cast, **the team may still wish to cast you in future roles based on your performance**. There are some that have voice qualities similar to other characters, that I plan to reach out to should we go the path of voice work! To be able to fully understand my interest and the career I want to pursue, I needed to narrow down my options while studying Digital Media and had come to the conclusion that I wanted to move forward a pursue a profession in Visual Designing. This would allow me to showcase my creative and passion for my craft while also allowing me to be versatile and exploring new things.

For the role you must own the creation of our Illustration system. Secondly, you must support the creation of animations and motion graphics. Presenting design solutions to stakeholders, defending design decisions and being open to feedback, incorporating it in your work is another obligation listed. Lastly, you must be able to contribute to idea generation sessions and taking charge when needed.

Skills Needed

For the skills set required, you must have an ability to create an illustration design system from scratch, an ability to create 2D animations. Furthermore having a proficiency in digital layouts (social media creatives, email design, landing pages) and a proficiency in design principles and typography. Also having a good form of proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. Moreover, an undying love for visual storytelling. Another skill needed is that you have a quantitative and qualitative understanding of why your design works or doesn’t. Also, ability to adapt to and build on TransferGo’s brand and design systems. The last two requirements, is that you are in fact a UK resident and have a right to work in the UK.

New Painting – Break Free

Here’s the latest oil painting update of my equestrian fine art series for the upcoming Surrey Contemporary Art Fair at Sandown Park Racecourse in Esher from 13 – 15 March 2020 and it’s a beautiful, large feature painting of an Arabia Horse at 91cm x 61cm.

My new painting – Break Free is in a contemporary style, supplied ready to hang and framing isn’t required as the sides are painted for a more modern décor, though is may be framed if required for a more traditional décor. Images are shown of it hung in my home for reference. Isn’t he gorgeous!

The Surrey Contemporary Art Fair is on:

Friday 13 March: 6pm to 9pm Private View, by invitation only Saturday 14 March: 10am to 6pm Sunday 15 March: 10am to 5pm
