It’s strange because in one way, it doesn’t feel like The Owl House has ended. It doesn’t feel like they’ve said their last goodbye’s, and that we won’t be seeing them again.

Usually when a show ends there’s this very specific and bittersweet feeling of letting something go. But not this time.

And I think it’s all because of the timeskip at the end, which showed that they created a new portal between the realms. Luz didn’t have to say goodbye to the demon realm for good, it’s still there for her to return to whenever she wishes. Much in the same way that The Owl House will still be there if we ever want to go back and rewatch it.

So in that sense, it feels much more like a “Goodbye, for this time”

I just broke into Raphaels House to retrieve my contract for the first time and some of the lines are just excellent, why did nobody tell me?

A rather unique soul. Most cherished client, huh? And he puts it on the pedestal where the Orphic Hammer was.

I know it's because we are the key to the crown, but I do believe him when he said "I've grown quite fond of you, in my own way." Even if we're just the most entertaining client he had in centuries. He did assume a sort of mentor role and followed our adventures, even helped us out of critical situations. "unforgettable", he says. He seems genuinely disappointed by the betrayal and doesn't seem to want to kill us but, using his own words again, we're leaving him "no choice" at that point.

He's horrible but I still feel bad for breaking his heart, not going to do that again. You want the Crown? Well, everything for you my king.

Also damn, Haarlep really hates the guy.

I know I'm just one Tumblr blog with less than 300 followers, the vast majority of which aren't active. But I really hope this post reaches many people, so there'll be one last tragedy in Palestine. I'll repost this many times if I have to

Mohamed Abdul Hamid is a Palestinian currently living with his family in the Gaza Strip. He created a fundraiser on March 11th, 2024, intending to raise $40k to flee (NOTE: The goal is listed as €25k, but the description states that $40k is needed for a family of 8 to flee to Egypt)

As of writing this, €5,836 has been raised. While any amount helps, it's frustrating to see fundraisers like this one earn much less money than the one for AO3, which had a bigger goal that was reached and even surpassed in a much shorter time

Even if you can only donate the equivalent of €5 and think it's a meaningless amount, it isn't for people in need. This is the thank you note I got for donating €5 (the equivalent of 7.34 CAD) to Mohamed's fundraiser:

[FANART - BALDUR'S GATE 3] Shadowheart ~ playing card concept

The end of 2023 was a series of misfortunes and barely bearable news but, in this endless chaos came my salvation : Baldur's Gate 3 !

Hours and hours and I still can't get enough of this game ! Therefore I decide to kick myself out of my comfort zone and began to make fanarts of the amazing characters Larian Studio created for us. So, first with "the daughter of darkness", our local goth girl : Shadowheart !

Side of Shar : The symbol you can see is the same as on Shadowheart's armor, representing Shar, Lady of Loss, goddess of the night. The outfit is inspired by Shar's statues design we can see during the game and I added the prism/artifact everybody can't stop bothering us about in BG3 !

Side of Selûne : The symbol you can see is the one commonly used to represent Selûne, Lady of Silver, goddess of the moon and sister of Shar. The outfit is inspired by Selûne's statues design we can see during the game and I added a night orchid, which is more than a simple flower for our dear Shadowheart !

Spear of Evening/Spear of Night : Quite the item during Shadowheart's journey.
