Gonna share a huge dump of my art again :3 I know I took a long break from posting, I just been more active on discord and IG

But anyways, I did draw a lot of Hazbin hotel stuff involving my problematic oc x canon.

Yes, I’ll admit it I sort of grew having a crush on Adam 😅😅😅😅 and I got so addicted to drawing him and Lucy a lot, so they’re gonna be more of a problematic OTP.

However, I’m gonna change their dynamic slightly… looking back at my original idea of them… I felt like I made that waaay too dark. Like, don’t worry I’m not gonna pull a Viv with woobifying Adam. They’re still kind of a toxic relationship and she doesn’t end up with him anyways.

It’s just me and a friend of mine talked about their dynamic a lot and she suggested, maybe it didn’t start off that bad for them. Like, my idea is that yeah he was an obnoxious flirty creep to her… but let’s say he sweetens Lucy up to get her to slowly fall for him…. It gives her the impression “Oh maybe that’s why he acts the way he is” and thinks she’s a badboy with a heart of gold.

I think this way she slowly falls for him until the relationship got rocky, that’s when he actually blackmails her if she dares leave him. And this leads to her sorry of becoming a fallen Angel in Hazbin hotel.

Also yes I based this off of the Notebook, that movie was so unitionally creepy… but romcoms are giving me ideas for their dynamic. I’m taking a lot of tropes from Rom Coms to their relationship but showing it how it actually is.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

His loyalty. An underrated thing about Mick Rory. If he’s on your side, he’s never leaving it, and he would die for you. I just queued a gifset of the season 6 (I think?) scene where Mick persuades Sara to come home and tells her she’s his oldest friend (the ‘Rogue Canary with the missing member’ feels, I swear) and it’s like. He was devoted to Len for 20 years, in whatever way you want to interpret that devotion, and he gave that loyalty to Sara - who he calls Boss just enough times that you feel it - and that was no small thing for him. But he would defend her life with his, along with the rest of the Legends. And he did, a lot.

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

The sheer weight and quality of creative fanon means we have so much history to draw on for Mick in fic. And it all comes from very few references. Burning down his house. The fight in juvie. The 30-year partnership with Len. And that’s… about it, I think? But look at the amount of young coldwave/young Mick fics and headcanons those lines have spawned. Incredible. I’ve never written a character (or pairing) with so much glorious fanon backstory. It is a gift. (And the fandom didn’t even do all that much with the rich vein of everything we learned later about his family. We had already had given ourselves so much to work with!)

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

It’s kind of related to my answer to question 2. I’m not a huge fan of the general fandom opinion that Mick was only ever mistreated by the Legends (or the writers) and hated every second of his time on the Waverider. Opinions will vary, of course, but I adore that found family for Mick. We do not speak of season two, which was poorly written and used Mick as a plot point, but for the most part after that I think it was clear that Mick loved the Waverider crew and vice versa. He grew as a person a lot on that ship, and he had an arc that I liked a lot overall, with some fantastic unlikely friendships. We got writer!Mick, and dad!Mick, and right-hand-man-to-Sara!Mick, and the growth of so many relationships we never could have predicted (don’t tell me he didn’t freaking adore Ava by the end, after the inevitable rocky start between them), and I loved it all. At times the writers liked to use him for a source of quick comic relief, and at other times his storylines were weird or nonexistent, and there was a little too much ableist writing there, but I still liked where he went on that show. I suspect it comes down to people who only like Mick with Len (romantically or otherwise) who didn’t like to think that Mick could have - and did have - a life beyond the Rogues. And I say all of this as a still deeply devoted coldwave fan, for they are truly my OTP. But still. I love Legends Mick, in a very different way from how I love Flash Mick, and I love the way he grew beyond Len.* Is a lot of my Legends Mick headcanon? Yep. Do I care? Nope. They gave me just enough to work with. :)

*I’m so tempted to get into how, while I love Mick with Len, their relationship was deeply codependent and Len clearly kept him from growing because he was a possessive bastard who loved Mick but also wanted to control his partner on his own terms. And how, even though it took Mick a while to realise he could be his own person outside of that partnership, he grew in some directions he never could have if Len hadn’t died. But that’s off topic - and hey, that headcanon is already in quite a few of my fics, with room for more… P.S. Did I mention I love coldwave and am also quite fond of Len (the possessive bastard) okay good

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

I love autistic Mick headcanons and playing with them. And of course, I love everything you can do with coldwave, because of all the fanon stuff I mentioned above. Hey maybe it’s time for another coldwave fic…

Jessica DiCicco, voice of Flame Princess, on Finn and Flame Princess's relationship: Finn and Flame Princess started off with a bang, that's for sure. There was an immediate attraction, and they've had some very profound moments. Even if their relationship seemed rocky at times, they have been getting to know each other's flaws and imperfections, and building the foundation for what could potentially be an epic love story—The Notebook-style! Through their ups and downs, I think their feelings for each other were true and undeniable. It's possible they just need to grow as individuals for a little bit before they can become a strong, solid couple. We saw glimpses of their potential, and it's safe to say the seeds for a strong love story have been planted. OTP. I also think there's a way they could be together without Finn having to foil-burritofy himself. In "The Red Throne," we saw that her handmaid had poisoned Flame Princess, resulting in Finn being able to touch her without getting burned. I think this was foreshadowing that there could be a way Flame Princess can learn to manage her power, and ultimately be able to interact with others without burning them. I don't think Flame Princess has found the place she can call home, or at least the place where she's happiest and most comfortable. We've only seen her ruling the Fire Kingdom once, where she was poisoned by her handmaid, had to fight her father, then lock him up, not to mention how incredibly bored she looked sitting on the throne all day, Zombie-eyed… so I'm not sure if the Fire Kingdom is her final destination. After all, she did spend her whole life locked up in a lantern; it's possible that she needs to get out, go on adventures, explore the world, and to get to know herself. As far as things with Finn, timing is everything; maybe after they each get a little more life experience they can explore their relationship again. I don't think it's over between them—perhaps it's just begun.

On Flame Princess's development as a character: Having been locked up in a lantern for her whole life until only recently, Flame Princess is playing catch-up. She has never had the chance to interact with others, experience love, explore her own emotions, and just be a regular teen. With the help of Princess Bubblegum, she is starting to learn about her power, she's starting to pay attention to her fiery emotions, and is now aware of exploring her power to its full potential. This is an exciting time in Flame Princess's life—she is a strong, independent young lady who tries her best to do what she thinks is right. Nobody's perfect, she definitely has her issues, but she's doing her best and working with what she's got.

On being part of the Adventure Time production: The excitement surrounding Adventure Time is palpable, and it's incredible to be part of a show that has struck a chord with so many people. I especially love the show's unpredictability and the dynamic characters that call the Land of Ooo home. Working on this show is awesome.

Brotp: Conversations with Gale about random facts they've both learned through books has been a great activity to keep sane while tadpoled. Karlach's ability to bring out Tamia's more playful self is also a breath of fresh air that she didn't know she needed in life. As for other "tav's" that joined then Yarmaes the Drow Bard has been a great friend and resource for new information to learn from his unusual upbringing alone.

32. How do they resolve their arguments?

So this does all depend on where they are in their relationship :)

When they are first dating, any arguments they have as a couple terrifies Pio. He's not obsessive, but Mia is the first love who he's really connected with, and he's so scared of screwing up. Mia is able to soothe him, but she does make very clear what it is that upset her. Ditto he to her. They just learn to listen and communicate in the early days of their love 💕

Much later, when they are married and have kids, they argue much less. Anything that is too petty to argue about, they let it go quick because it's not worth it.

One key plot point I've been thinking about for their story (after talking about it as well with @keylovesstuff), is Pio meeting Mia's parents, and then it ending in a disaster where Pio is darned sure he's screwed up their relationship for good!

I won't spoil too much as I want to write something for it (not sure when, but I will!) - but this is a key moment when Mia and Pio truly learn there will be very rocky bumps that they need to overcome as a couple. After taking a full night to talk and let out their amorous feelings towards each other, they realise that this is a relationship worth fighting for. They don't want to lose this special connection that's forged between them 💕

Since their names are really short, there's not enough room for nicknames ^^; But they have a few.

They call each other "amore" when being loving and tender. And when Pio is feeling especially emotional and doting, he calls her

Every time one of my beloved mutuals reblogs NearlPlat or BlemiPlat content I have to take a deep breath and remind myself that my mutuals are my favorite people in the world and I need to accept them, flaws and all.

BROTP: Nearl x Saria. The Healing Defenders Who Are Actually Better At Beating The Crap Out Of People Sisters. They're also self-sacrificing idiots. So much to bond over.

OTP: Nearl x Doctor. At first this was just self-indulgence, but the more I think about it, the more I think it works as an actual pairing. Nearl Alter's talk lines in particular lay such a strong foundation of mutual trust and respect and regard that I think could easily blossom into romance and it's honestly one of the few Operator x Doctor As Character Within The Narrative Rather Than Player Avatar romances I'm sold on.

Second choice pairing: Nearl x Viviana Droste

Fluffy pairing: Nearl x Doctor, Nearl x Viviana Droste, Nearl x Nightingale. I know @norondor has heard me talk at length about how cute and sweet and fluffy Doc x Nearl is in particular. Honestly, it's super easy to imagine Nearl ships being fluffy because she's just such a kind, compassionate sweetheart.

Angsty pairing: Nearl x Doctor has so much angst potential, as does Nearl x Nightingale, Nearl x Shining, and Nearl x Nightingale x Shining.

Favorite poly ship: Nearl x Shining x Nightingale (with or without Viviana),

Weirdest pairing: Nearl x Siege. A queen needs a knight.

Yang Xiao Long

Oh God this is kind of tough because my answers for pre- and post-Volume 9 are very different, so I'll give answers for both.

NOTP: Whatever the hell Adam x Yang is called. No freaking thank you.

Enabler (Ruby x Yang) is also a huge vomit moment. Incest is not wincest.

Baked Alaska (Neo x Yang) also sucks ass because Neo is an unlikable little cunt who managed to be too horrible for me to have any interest in despite her cute design and sad backstory and I don't want her anywhere near characters I have positive feelings toward.

Post-Volume 9, Bumbleby (Blake x Yang) is rapidly progressing in this direction because I am not remotely satisfied with how the writers handled it.

BROTP: Freezerburn (Yang x Weiss). Love me some Freezerbros (though I actually like them more as a romance). I adore their aesthetic and dynamic and they get some really poignant scenes together.

Sunflowyr (Yang x Ren) comes in second place because I feel like they'd be good friends if the show ever bothered to show us that outside like one hug in Volume 6. They both rely more heavily on martial arts than their fellow protagonists, though they use different styles, and I think they could have a lot of fun sparring and learning from each other. Would love to see them incorporate aspects of each other's styles.

Dragonslayer (Yang x Jaune) is a good pre-Volume 9 BROTP because Yang has always been very supportive of Jaune (despite both a rocky first impression and the FNDM's attempts to paint her as a man-hating lesbian) and they got to showcase a cute dynamic in Volume 8 in particular.

Greek Fire (Yang x Pyrrha) is my last pick here because they're both talented fighters/athletes and would probably have lots of fun working out or sparring together. Also, Pyrrha's skillset incorporates some wrestling techniques, so they'd probably be able to teach each other some cool unarmed combat tricks.

OTP: Pre-Volume 9, it was Bumbleby, but what we got out of Volume 9 was frankly embarrassing, so now it's Freezerburn. Fuck you Eddy Yang and Weiss wouldn't get divorced they'd be one of the healthiest relationships in this fucking show and frankly probably healthier than the mess y'all made of your flagship sapphic romance lmao

Second choice pairing: Pre-Volume 9, Freezerburn, and then Dragonslayer. Post-Volume 9, I don't even fuckin know anymore because Bumbleby leaves a bad taste in my mouth, I can't ship Jaune with anyone after the shitshow that was He-Jaune, Master of the DILFiverse, and I'm left picking between pairings that are decent but not overly compelling. I guess the candidates are Greek Fire, Sunflowyr, and Nuclear Winter (Yang x Winter)? Just pick whichever one pisses off the most people, I guess. Gotta break the tie somehow.

Fluffy pairing: Pre-Volume 9, Dragonslayer. Two sweet, friendly human golden retrievers. They would be so soft and loving with each other, I just know it (also Jaune would get pegged as fuck). Post-Volume 9, I feel like Greek Fire would take it but I don't really think any of the Yang pairings I like at this point would really stand above the rest in terms of fluff.

Angsty pairing: The answer to this should be Bumbleby, but this show is too afraid to actually let them address their issues beyond a cursory conversation or two so none of the delicious opportunities for conflict and pain and growth and development ever come to pass. Instead they get forced to confess by a magic fucking thunderstorm, mention surface-level aspects of each other that they like and aren't even correct about them half the time, and then kiss in a field of flowers while everyone else is busy thinking about important shit like how to get home and defeat an immortal omnicidal witch goddess. I guess I'll give it to Sunflowyr because they had actual conflict in Volume 8.

Freezerburn has potential for plenty of angst too, but it comes from external sources. They'd be helping each other through it rather than hurting each other.

Greek Fire has angst opportunities post-Fall of Beacon, I guess?

Gauntlets and Greaves (Yang x Mercury) has a lot of angst potential too, but I don't like either the ship or Mercury, so whatever.

Favorite poly ship: Pre-Volume 9? Bee's Schnees (Blake x Yang x Weiss). It has all the benefits of Bumbleby, Freezerburn, and Monochrome (Blake x Weiss), which are all excellent ships, and the additional bonus of giving Weiss two hot tops who will plow her like a tractor. As she deserves.

Post-Volume 9 I guess it's still Bee's Schnees even though neither Yang nor Blake exist as characters at this point, but this is more because a) I can't think of any other poly Yang ships I particularly care for, especially at this stage of the series, and b) I really do adore Weiss and think she deserves to be stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey. As a treat.

Weirdest pairing: Nuclear Winter. I'm not sure if the two have even directly interacted in the series outside of a scene or two in Volume 8, but they're both big sisters and self-sacrificing idiots who are hella ready to fight at a moment's notice, so that's gotta count for something, right?

Anyone who's been following my blog lately will not be shocked that I love this ship like crazy. We've only had a single episode to get to see how the three of them interact with each other, but just that one episode gives me so many emotions and shipper thoughts that Lunatic Bee almost immediately became an OTP for me. Granted, it probably helped that I loved the Loona and Vortex ship from "Spring Broken", so the only thing that kept me from fully just wondering if I could just have a polyship between those two and Vortex's girlfriend was the fact that we hadn't met said girlfriend yet.

.....And then we met Bee and I was pretty much immediately sold on the idea that these three would end up as a poly relationship. I do think there would be some rocky moments at the start, in part because of my headcanon that Vortex doesn't realize he never told Loona he and Bee were poly, so she takes the affection/flirting as her being messed with (either intentionally or not); but ultimately I feel like they'd be an amazing romantic trio. Not to mention imagining the fun scenarios that could come up from the idea of them all being together.

The only real downside I feel is the fact that, while in my own admittedly biased views, it feels like it's perfect to become canon at some point based on so many factors....the fact that I feel like getting Kesha back to voice Bee would be really difficult makes me feel like it's hard to say if Lunatic Bee would ever become official, unless they either did it completely in the background, recast Bee for future episodes, or just didn't give her any dialogue in future appearances. I am still keeping my fingers crossed, but until then, Lunatic Bee is canon in my heart and my (hopefully soon) upcoming fanworks.

Malik found the help wanted poster for bounty hunting, and he decides to join (at this point, he was traumatized from witnessing a shooting and death of one of his students). He met Theo then, and they became quick friends and eventually lovers ❤️ Malik is also the first person to join!

17. Who fell in love first?

Malik! He was a bit shy about sharing his feelings, but he then realize that Theo likes him back!

19. How do they deal with being away from each other for a long time?

Both of them could deal without the other for a long while, but they still yearn for the other to return 😆 They make phone calls and chat for hours if they get too lonely!

31. What’s the relationship like? Smooth? Rocky?

Very smooth! They both get along well before they fell in love!

38. What was their most memorable date?

When they went out to a fancy restaurant, under the stars (it's one of those restaurants where there's a patio!). Stargazing as they ate was such a beautiful moment between them--in fact, Theo had decided that would be the ideal place to propose once everything is done!

Occultus x Faust headcanons based off of this otp question meme

Who is the most affectionate?

Faust is the most casually affectionate. Sparked heavily by him guiding Occultus by the arm, holding onto his leg when Varg hit him, wrapping his arm around Occultus at the party, etc. He's a very tactile person and it comes out a lot when it comes to relationships. Occultus is also very touchy, although he doesn't do a lot of the small stuff. He's far more likely to be fully hanging off of Faust rather than touching him in subtle ways.

Big spoon/little spoon?

They swap around on it. Most the time, Faust is the big spoon because it's easier to manage. It's not at all uncommon for Occultus to big spoon, though.

Favorite non-sexual activity?

Watching movies together by far. They spend so much time watching things together, especially curled up in Helvete. They both have very different movie tastes, Occultus loves anything funny and Faust mainly enjoys things that are gory. They meet in the middle and try to find horror comedy. The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things are two of their favorites.

Neither of them mind watching something the other picks, so there's plenty of times where they just watch a horror or comedy movie. (They also both have a bit of a weak spot for romance movies, although Helvete has to be totally empty for them to watch one.)

Who is most likely to carry the other?

Faust is most likely to carry Occultus (and be successful with it.) It's not uncommon for him to give him a piggyback ride. Occultus also will attempt to carry Faust which just never ends well.

Nicknames? And if so, how did they originate?

They don't really use nicknames, but they both use the other's real name fairly regularly.

Who tops?

Faust does. Neither would be totally opposed to switching it up, but neither have ever brought it up or cared enough to try. They found something that works for them and they tend to stick with it.

Who wakes up first?

Faust wakes up first most of the time. It's not rare for him to be up for hours before Occultus is, though he usually stays in bed and watches movies. He isn't totally awake, just kind of conscious enough, so he continues relaxing for hours.

What do their family/friends think of their relationship?

They're both pretty well-liked by each other's family. Faust's parents ADORE Occultus. He was worried in the beginning that they might not, but they both love Occultus and constantly ask how he's doing/when he's coming over/etc. Occultus' family also likes Faust well enough, but they aren't as close with him.

Their friends are (lovingly) grossed out by it. They make fun of them so much for being so touchy all the time. For the most part, they're kind of indifferent to it. A lot of them expected them to get together at some point, so they weren't really shocked.

One headcanon about this OTP that breaks your heart

Occultus handles it really, really badly when Faust gets arrested. With the church burnings, he was happy enough to laugh about them and encourage them. But once he finds out Faust burns one down, he starts feeling a bit weirder about it. He begins worrying a lot more about something happening and it's at an all time high when he finds out Faust killed someone.

He isn't quite himself when Faust gets arrested, feeling totally drained and not wanting to even go out most of the time.

ship ask meme: the witcher

otp: probably Yennskier (this was hard as I have been exposed to so many good pairings). I just really like how the show and fandom has done this relationship and the power dynamic goes both ways depending on their needs. They just work so well together and it make me so happy.

favorite canon pairing: Phillipa and Djikstra. The way they scheme and work together -- it reminds me a tad of the villains in Rocky and Bullwinkle . Best of friends (with the occasional kinky stuff). [I was really tempted to put Phillipa and Her Redanian Assasin lady, but they got so little time on screen.]

worst pairing ever: Ugh -- is there really a bad pairing? I don't think so. Maybe Yennefer and Eyck? They were funny and I appreciated them, but he was such a tool.

guilty pleasure pairing: Oh I really like Triss and Yennefer because there is a tension there, but also caring.

pairing you want to see more of: Angouleme with anyone. She was my favorite! (Secretly more Codhringer's cat too). I should really read more fic because there is probably plenty I am missing. (shit -- Ciri/Fake Ciri just because of what I read recently still being stuck in my head).

pairing that everyone likes but you are lol no: Do people ship Vilgefortz and Tissaia? I am not judging, but not for me (I'd read it and be open to convincing but at the moment not for me). I am a slow reader and take in mostly recommendations and reblogs.

I’m sick of it. It’s boring. I’ll come up with my own steddie content, thanks.

7. one thing to change in canon : Everything. Not even joking. I’m going blorbo shopping and bringing all my favs back to my dollie house to play fix-it.

8. something canon did right : Um. I guess letting actors put in feedback and details of their own. Like Millie choosing for El to touch Billy’s cheek, Dacre giving us backstory on Billy’s mom and also on Billy’s disability (BPD), both he and Joe Keery refusing the original scripts, Joe Quinn improvising Eddie’s crush on Chrissy, and so on. All of the actor choices are the only good things about the show at this point.

9. a thing I’m proud of creating for the fandom : @disabledbillyandsteveweek! There's more information about the event over on the blog, but basically it’s an event starting in about two weeks meant to highlight Billy and Steve as disabled characters, through all kinds of fan works and different ships!

10. a character who is perfect to me : Christine Renée-Beth Cunningham. Nobody compares to my cheer girl.

11. the most relatable character and why : Also Chrissy. She reminds me a lot of myself, especially how I was when I was still in highschool, being timid and struggling a lot with my mental health. I wish she could have grown and gotten help and felt better since I’m on my journey to doing so right now, but I’m forever grateful to have seen a character with an eating disorder and an abusive family on screen, portrayed in a heartfelt and generous way- all thanks to miss Grace Van Dien

12. character I hate most and why : Neil, Karen (actually just the Wheelers in general except little Holly), Brenner, Owens, the lady that shot Benny, literally so many of them. Anyone who intentionally and unabashedly hurts other characters without remorse.

13. something I’ve learned from the fandom : To be patient, because even when things seem tough or impossible, we can make it. Together, with friends who understand us, and who share our pain, we can fight and keep going! Especially because this community will always have folks who understand and have our backs, we just have to find them ❤️❤️

14. three tags I seek out on ao3 : I actually don’t read fic on ao3. The extreme amounts of severely triggering content hosted on that site is just too much for me and I can never seem to avoid it. I only post to ao3 because I know people find it easily accessible, but I had one too many mix-ups that led to me being in a terrible state of mind, so I discontinued using the site.

15. a song I strongly associate with otp and/or favorite character : I’ll never shut up about “Time in a Bottle” by Jim Croce. Conveniently off the same record as Hop has on Vinyl and Cassette, it’s my favorite song ever because it’s so tender and loving and even though it’s old people music yall should give it a listen. It applies to any ship, but especially packs a punch with Harringrove. Also “Magic” by Olivia Newton-John.
