Everyone's like "Suren better watchout for Jude"

I know she better watch out (I love Jude with all my life at stake) but baby girl is the annihilation of magic. She removed the CURSE Jude placed on the soldiers, plus even when her powers were not predominantly active, she removed Hyacinthe's curse single-handedly. Not to mention she shouted "I want you dead" and Lady Nore burst like a freaking balloon.

Jude is mortally strong, but Suren is magically equal to Cardan's even more since she has undiluted magic whereas cardan has the magic which was passed down from Clovis.

So basically baby girl is strong as hell. Plus I don't think she'll keep Oak forever in chains. She's angry now, and if she intended to keep him in chains she wouldn't have visited him so often.

I just loved how they served childhood friends to enemies(but only because they were pitted on different sides by fate) to reluctant allies to almost lovers to enemies again.

They are OTP and people are forgetting Cardan and Jude played this level unhinged game too, and Jude might not have used bridle on Cardan, but still controlled in the Wicked King. So before being wroth on our little feral baby girl, just consider this : THE ANGST IN THE SECOND BOOK >>>>>

You know what, I'll do one for comic and one for Stargirl Shade:

Comics!Shade: Sexuality Headcanon: Bi, but has some Issues being open about his interest in men due to the whole Oscar Wilde thing Gender Headcanon: Cis man A ship I have with said character: Jack/Shade OTP! Shade/pining after a straight Jay One-SidedTP! A BROTP I have with said character: Shade/all his special boys, including Jack if I'm not shipping them, but I'm especially fond of Shade & Mik. Mik is happy to kill him because he's not his friend like Jack is, but he still has coffee at his house! Where Shade goes: "Wow you're so dour now that your boyfriend died! Well I'm great, I'm in love," which is the most dickish thing to say and I love it. A NOTP I have with said character: Shade/H0pe. She's great by herself, but I am 0% interested in Shade's grand het relationship especially when so many of his post-Starman appearances heavily feature it. A random headcanon: Falls in love so much more frequently and easily than he admits. General Opinion over said character: One of my two favorite DC characters. His Silver Age appearances are goofy fun, and his Starman retcon makes him a fascinating, complex character who is also extremely hot. I want to see more of him except seeing more of C-list faves in comics is usually a death sentence or character assassination so.

Stargirl Shade: Sexuality Headcanon: Gay Gender Headcanon: Cis man (but I read a nice fic with trans male Shade so that's good too!) A ship I have with said character: Shade/McNider OTP!!! A BROTP I have with said character: Shade & Jenny have the most amazing dynamic. He's calling her a awful child while she's knitting sweaters to donate to a kitten orphanage. Also I love Shade adopting Barbara as his replacement sister so much and I'm so sad they didn't interact in season 3! A NOTP I have with said character: None, really? A random headcanon: He likes children and, deep down, is sad he can't have them (for so many reasons). Of course when he actually interacts with children he instantly becomes mortal enemies with most of them, but that's probably the case for most adults he interacts with. General Opinion over said character: He's so good!!!! I am still amazed by how well they adapted the heart of the character, and the changes they made all worked really well in the setting. I definitely want to see more of him and will forever mourn not getting to see his spin-off show, or him traipsing around with the Legends of Tomorrow, or marrying Dr. Mid-nite, or

Another Mortal Kombat drawing of mine that shows off an alternate timeline within my works based on the franchise.

Once again, we have my OTP of Liu Kang x Sonya Blade. This time, they are pondering over their greatest archenemies - Shang Tsung and Kano (respectively).

Both Liu Kang and Sonya have quite the violent histories with their sworn enemies. Shang Tsung killed Liu Kang's brother Chan in the 1995 MK movie (and even their parents in my AU) while Kano killed Sonya's partner, who was also her fiancée in certain incarnations.

Liu Kang and Sonya already wanted to take down Shang Tsung and Kano for Earthrealm's safety anyways, but this further motivates them into wanting to complete that goal, even if it means killing their enemies.

This is another reason why I ship Liu Kang and Sonya together in my works based on MK as well as my multiverse/roleplay with my gf. They would want nothing more than to live a normal life, especially with each other, but they also have no qualms with giving up that desire just so that their realm can be in peace.

A - Ships that you currently like a lot. (They don’t have to be OTPs because not everyone has OTPs.) Friendships, pairings, threesomes, etc. are allowed.

It's Lokius! I think they've given me everything I never knew I could have. It's a classic enemy to friends to lovers, built on mutual trust and respect. It's a god in love with a mortal, but the mortal in question is older than the god and also has watched his entire life because he's interested in the mechanics of his being. It's a tragedy, inherently, but it's also incredibly mundane considering the circumstances. It's two people who like each other so much, who cannot stop touching each other, and - ultimately - the entire multi-verse is saved because one guy believed that someone canonically irredeemable could be a better person. I love them so much.

H - What is your favorite source text for fandom stuff (e.g., TV shows, movies, books, anime, Western animation, etc.)?

I really like comics/books and that's where I source most of my "canon". I'm not really into the MCU movies, though now that I'm very into Loki it is my great exception. I don't base Deadpool or Spider-Man after anything in their respective movies because I don't like their approaches to the character enough to be inspired by them. I also don't read enough comics to be a true comic-canon writer, but I do like peppering my writing with little details and notes from them.

T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending? 

I am truly where headcanons go to die. I don't have them (or, more realistically, everything I write is true regardless of its alignment with the source)

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

I really think that the way fandom writes about sex workers is not only wrong/misinformed/fetishy, but pretty universally bad. I have definitely read some half-decent ones before, but in general it's like. Oh. You don't understand how this works at all! That sucks! (I'm looking at you stripper/cam aus. I am looking at you.)

X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom.

I am a sucker for barbarian AUs they are my guilty pleasure of all time. I love arranged marriage and forced proximity and all that jazz.

li zi wei / huang yu xuan, someday or one day. taiwanese drama.

boy meets girl. boy dies. girl time travels about 20 years into the past and meets boy's doppelganger, except he's older than he should be in 1998. turns out boy is ALSO a time traveler, and he waited years to be reunited with the girl in her original timeline after meeting her in 1998 😭. boy still dies. girl goes to correct the timeline again. in order for the boy and the girl's friends to survive, they have to erase the timeline where they meet, and all their memories together, and they choose to do so. it's implied the boy will still meet the girl someday, one day 😭😭😭. a follow up movie (with the same cast!) is going to be released soon, but the original drama is perfect on its own and their story hits all the best bittersweet notes.

dongfang qingcang and xiao lanhua, love between fairy and devil. chinese drama

this story is like someone took all my favorite fanfics from when i was 14 and injected it straight into my veins!! xiao lanhua is an unimportant orchid fairy who accidentally frees the leader of the moon tribe (the fairies' #1 enemy), certified big bad and girlboss dongfang qingcang, who has sealed away his emotions for a power boost. over time, the two of them grow closer and understand one another better and if you're someone who likes "i'll burn the world down for 1 person" with notes of devil/jesus or hades/persephone this is 100% absolutely your ship.

do hyun soo/cha ji won, flower of evil. korean drama

idek where to begin with these two, but ugh. ugh!! ugh!!!! the way they killed me over 16 episodes! definitely an unconventional couple, do hyun soo is a suspected serial killer who's been on the run for over 15 years, and cha ji won is his wife and also a detective recently assigned to hunt him down. their story is just such a raw and lovely look at trauma's effects on people and they're so ride or die for one another and their daughter. it's wonderful to see a love story about a long-term couple, as well.

yu sifeng/chu xuanji, love and redemption. chinese drama

THE ship for you if you like inverted gender dynamics, masochism tangos, and 10 lifetimes' worth of pining and star-crossed lovers. thousands of years ago, there was a god of war who was punished to live 10 lifetimes on earth so she could unlearn her hatred at heaven. chu xuanji is her 10th and final mortal incarnation, a girl who can't understand the 6 senses and lives with her father's martial arts sect, although she can't practice martial arts or cultivation herself. sifeng is a member of a rival sect, a sect that forbids love, marriage, or children from its members. it's revealed that sifeng has loved and followed xuanji through 9 previous lifetimes that all ended violently for him, and this is their last chance to break the cycle/get their happily ever after /;3;/

what i love most about this one is that it flips the script on gender dynamics-- sifeng is a martyr for love and xuanji is the overpowered one who struggles to understand her feelings. here's one of my favorite scenes where xuanji reveals her hidden powers to save sifeng from being whipped to death

sung deok sun/choi taek, reply 1988. korean drama.

the other love stories on this list are all fantasy-based or have extraordinary circumstances, so i figured for this last one i would pick a love story that's just so wonderfully normal and grounded. a lot of people got second-lead syndrome from this series, but i am empathetically not one of them!!

deok sun and taek are childhood friends and neighbors who grew up together. it's evident early on in the series that taek loves deok sun, and he's always honest about his feelings, but it takes deok sun a little longer to realize she's in love with taek. what i love about this ship is that it's really quiet-- we see them fall in love with small moments and through their actions/behaviors vs. large, grand confessions (although we get a great confessional moment near the end of the drama too!!). there's also such a great balance between birds of a feather and being complimentary toward one another.

OTP: Tabitha has had five wives, all mortal. What she really wants is to find someone suitable to be a member of the family, someone she can make Nonna happy by marrying and embracing. Nonna isn't concerned with the lesbian thing, but hell help her if she brings home someone who acts weird around the zombies. So far she hasn't had much luck (also cuz her wives keep getting murdered) One day she'll find someone, if she's patient.

BroTP:  Tabby likes the coterie fine, but they're not locals of course. Her closest confidant is Marchesa Hannah Rosso, but they also do not like each other much. Hannah is very brusque and ambitious, and Tabby is very passive and calm. They had a common enemy, but now he's gone.

NOTP: The Barone Luca Rosso, the guy that kept killing her wives because she wasn't interested in him. It was a bone of contention between them, understandably. She couldn't do anything to him because her wives were just humans, and no one would support her. But now the coterie encased him in concrete and dropped him in the ocean, so she's happy.

It doesn't bring back her wives, but she's a necromancer, she's got that part covered.

the mere presence of you and freya on my dash made me care so much more about her. like i always thought she was cool but you made me see that there is so much more to her than just "the firstborn mikaelson witch spirited away by dahlia and who is now keeping her siblings alive / in line to the best of her ability". you took your time with freya and you gave her depth. like that one ask reply about how freya continously thinks about how she is mortal and her siblings are not? and the fears - especially the fear of being forgotten way down the line - subtly tied into that? it's so good! chef's kiss!

and speaking of which: i love all of the relationships you've built up with and around freya. and it's not just romantic relationships - it's also the platonic ones. i love reading about how she views her siblings, and hayley, and how she feels when she looks at hope.

you're constantly breaking new ground with her through your thoughts and headcanons and interactions and verses and i can't wait to see where you'll take her next!

and then there is leah! lovely leah who is canon in my head and heart (and who would probably eat me for calling her lovely lmfao) but she just feels like that one missing piece, you know? the sibling that should have been in the show. the sibling that now is.

i love the fact that she's out there annoying her siblings to death. i love the fact that vampirism is such a positive thing for her. i love her extreme wanderlust and the fact that the ultimate enemy is boredom.

and i absolutely love the fact that she was created to be an antithesis and a foil to rebekah. you've succeeded with that a thousand times over. you've built her from the ground up and she slots into the mikaelson family so well.

honestly, leah is such a breath of fresh air: whether that is in her main tvdu verse or in the verse where she's a baby werewolf in the bitten universe.

and i'm also very loudly on team oc because ocs are awesome and leah is a shining example of that.
