idk if you’ve done this already but how the mlp characters would react to reader having a panic attack?

have no mlp hc so far! going with main six from fsim

Twilight Sparkle when the reader has a panic attack

a bit taken ack at first she's used to being the one having panic attacks due to stress not used to seeing others panic too much

thankfully though, because of this, she knows plenty of tips to help she'll make a mental list of things to try help you calm down

starts with breathing and counting getting your breathing on track is a top priority and counting is a pretty useful trick could be counting your breathing or taking deep breaths while counting anything else

if your thoughts are a mess and spiraling she'll try helping you rationalize giving reason to irratic thoughts can also help someone relax reassurance is one of the best ways to ease worries

if you want a hug afterwards, she'd be more than happy to give you one with a wing over you too

she'll ask if theres anything she can do to help you feel safe and tries not to overwhelm you with anything

Rarity when the reader has a panic attack

she's very quick to try and console you

she'll see you start to panic and take you aside to help you get a hang of your breathing if youre anywhere near a crowd, loud space or other ponies in general she'll take you aside to the closest spot thats quieter or offer to go on a walk with you so that you arent overwhelmed and find it easier to calm down and focus on breathing

she'll offer words of affirmation and something textured you like if you need it

rarity will gladly set things aside to help you relax possibly even close the boutique early and either take you on a spa day or style your mane while giving you some affirmation and reassurance

she'll attempt at quelling your irrational thoughts and/or doubts by reasoning with them and attempting a bit of humor pinkie may have rubbed off on her a bit, she picked up more of the "cheer up through a laugh" approach because of pinkie

you will get a lot of her big sister side she more than likely helped sweetiebelle out with her own panics especially before the cutie mark crusaters so she would probably default to her gentle older sister tone ever now and then while consoling you

Pinkie Pie when the reader has a panic attack

at first will just tell you "hey its okay" and possibly say something on accident that might make your panic worse depending what you panic over she's not the best at reading people or 'reading the room' when it comes to things outside her usual domain of expertise

if it persists (and it likely will), she'll be unsure what to do and feel bad until she gets an idea

might give you either a paper bag or more probable a balloon to help you focus your breathing somewhere you might end up just making balloons with her if this trick really helps you

pinkie will try and distract you from the scary thoughts anyway she can she'll find a way to make you laugh, make faces or tell jokes she'll ask you about your interests she'll offer to tell you about her day, about gummy or share a silly story or even ask you about your day to recount how it went before the panic attack

she'll offer to let you hold gummy if he's close by and if you think that might help

if you have any comfort food or like sweets and eating might help in any way you better expect pinkie to be getting you some snacks

Rainbow Dash when the reader has a panic attack

rainbow will bring you a cloud, or multiple if youre a pegasus, she'll either get you to fly around, through or up to clouds with her or bring the fluffiest one she ca find over to you if you cant or dont want to fly if youre a unicorn and youre able to, you could use twilight's spell for walking on clouds and get to play with a cloud she brings over if not she can just bring you enough clouds to give you a cool mist

she might try creating a small cool breaze for you with her wings she's not sure if it'll help or anything but she'll try

she'll try distracting you by showing off some tricks maybe even attempt another sonic rainboom just for you

early seasons dash would have brushed it off, told you everythings fine, that youre overthinking and need to just "be cool" but later seasons dash does less of that and would be a little more compassionate she'll try hard to come up with things that might help but she'll still argue that some of your thoughts are just you overthinking

pretty quick to be realistic about a situation if youre panicked over a test or an event she'll tell you you'll do fine and you'll breaze past it, even tell you the jist of what you'll expect so youre prepared on top of being realistic she can be really reassuring if she tries

she knows what its like to panic over a crowd or competition she can have some pretty good tips that she's learned instead of stalling and avoiding like using your imagination to make things less scary and intimidating

Apple Jack when the reader has a panic attack

aj is the most likely to offer to just talk things through, aside from fluttershy she'll help you face what's causing you to panic and listen to you get it off your chest she knows talking about your thoughts out loud can help you see how irrational they might be and make it easier to disprove them

aj will give you reassurance and reasoning but also any advice you might need now or for future panic attacks

she'll get you to count something like "how many apples is a bushel?....and how many can fit in a pie?" while youre taking some deep breaths

if taking a walk or stretching your legs helps she'll offer to walk it out with you, maybe while you talk or she'll offer to go for a run around the orchard with you to help get the panic energy out

will get you a cold glass of apple juice if you'd like

might even give you her hat untill you feel better

Fluttershy when the reader has a panic attack

she will ask any animals of your preference if theyre okay with you petting them especially if petting something soft helps you relax

if you'd like she can ask birds to sing a song and you two can just sit quietly and listen

fluttershy will gladly offer hugs and forehead bonks

she's an amazing listener and her soft and quiet approach can be really comforting

she knows what its like to be overwhelmed and often has panic attacks herself especially related to social anxiety she she'll offer to try any of the tricks and things that normally help her

she will try to offer reassurance and reasoning after listening to you however shes much better at offering reassurance than reasoning

if counting helps she'll get you to count critters with her taking deep breaths and counting all the critters around the area or her place or even just count breaths alongside you

she knows the best quiet spots to relax and get way from stressors around ponyville she'll take you to the closest one if youre okay with walking she'll even tell you all about the animals and plants around that spot

if you need a distraction she's got tonnes of animal facts to share

theres a small chance to get early seasons fluttershy to sing or just humm if that might help later seasons fluttershy is more confident and will even sing alongside birds if you ask for music

this turned out to be a pretty long post!

ive been sitting on this concept for Lil Cheese for a few months now trying to chew out how i wanted to approach it; im really happy with how she turned out. :)

The idea being that back when Pinkie absorbed all of the chaos magic at the end of the series, it had some lingering effects despite her being drained of it. Also in the MLP game for Lil Cheese it says "this future filly will have inherited twice the chaotic party energy of any average pony" which like,,, YES Cheese and Pinkie lmao,,,, BUT WHAT IF...... 😳 went with the name Mascarpone Pie, she goes by Marcy for short. :^) COUGH Marcy Pie. I don't think she'd ever get a cutie mark, which they think is weird at first but it makes sense later when she kinda ages into a draconequus. she doesn't reach her full draconequus form until after adulthood, but as a kid she'd have these weird inexplicable bursts of chaos magic that for a while, ponies would assume was natural given the filly's parents. shed be an awkward lanky teen who starts growing horns, thats kinda when everyone's like oooooooh............. i think shed actually be a pretty goofy and happy kid but uh.... in tf fashion i wanted to draw expressions of distress at her gradually changing appearance. i dont think she'd be immortal either, but her lifespan is very long. eventually she'd figure out how to disguise herself as a normal-looking pony but by that point everyone's pretty aware and normal about how she looks. minor detail, but i bet she'd snort when she laughs lol. if it matters her draconequus bits are: reindeer, rabbit, bee, giraffe, and dolphin.

MLP Mane 6 - 2024 Human Designs

I've been wanting to re-design my MLP FIM Human designs for a while now, as the previous versions were from 2021-2022, and I really don't like those old designs now. They can still be found on my page, and I won't delete them, but I thought it was about time for an upgrade! (Also in that original batch I did, I never drew AJ, so I'm also making up for that :/ )

And, just to get it out of the way: This is MY own interpretation of the characters. I'm not going against anyone else's designs, and I would hope that no-one would do that for me. They are ponies without specified race or ethnicity, an artist is allowed to interpret them however they want.

Anyway, as for the designs themselves I wanted to include small details about the characters, mostly head canon stuff. I'll run through each of them and give my small commentary on my designs.

Quick Note: Each of the mane 6 are wearing Friendship bracelets, and each matches a specific other character, but that doesn't mean that they value their overall friendships any less. I simply chose the combinations from the episodes I remember those specific two (or more) being in together. But, for the sake of harmony, let's say that they all have bracelets of each other, and simply chose just two to wear to their photo shoot.

Rainbow Dash: I wanted a very tom-boyish/partly sporty look for her. Baggy shirt (probably wearing a sports bra?), athletic shorts, bandages & scrapes (from falling, etc.) and some very nice sneakers. (One of her most prized possessions)

Pinkie Pie: Fun colors and fashion, I wanted her hair to be as wonderfully fluffy and curly as it could be. Also her sandals were so fun to design, I imagine she calls them her "cake shoes".

Twilight Sparkle: Far more subtle in design and colors, but I figure that's what she'd want. Also her hair shape is so fun, I'm so proud of it.

Apple Jack: Actually one of the more detailed designs, but I just had to include everything I thought of. I imagine she's very tanned from her work, but it follows the line of her clothes, and her freckles most often appear there. (I'm not actually sure if that's how freckles work, I'm just assuming :/ ) Also my dad gave me the idea to put her cutie mark on her belt buckle. (I was just gonna do trees or smth, but this is far better)

Rarity: Lots of little details, and attention to detail. Looking at it now, I could've added more white into her design than I did, but I'm okay with her palette. Her hair was my favorite to color :)

Fluttershy: (My favorite) Was a simpler design, like Twilight, but again I think she'd appreciate that. There are some scars on her legs, hands and parts of her face, and I added those as she works with animals, and I'd figure that, although they do listen to her, they are still animals and can get rowdy without warning. And they are fully-healed scars, she's not in pain, her skin just has a lot of story to it. (And you know me, I had to add a bit of Discord's influence in there! I imagine that he made the necklace for her, and although it's strange and doesn't seem to go with any outfit, she loves it dearly.)

MLP Rewrite AU - How is Starlight Glimmer's redemption arc changed up, as the most divisive one in the show?

OH OKAY SO

I went into rewriting both the premier and finale focusing on her before so I'm just gonna go through plot points

So like. With the town. Change it so that Starlight's belief has her genuinely take her own Cutie Mark. Like in general I'm changing it because like like. Even if your Talent is taken, you still have years of training and knowledge. So everyone in town, instead of sucking ass at what used to be their talent, is now forbidden from doing it(even though they still crave to do so).

Starlight still knows how to do the spell even without her Cutie Mark, so she can still take their Marks. And other than being forbidden from pursuing their old talent, everyone's pretty happy actually! Not- not fully happy. They miss their passion and they're depressed, but they're not full cult-mode.

I think maybe cut down on the actual 'kidnapping and brain wash' thing for the most part. Just Starlight being very preachy and manipulative and figuring out how to poke and prod at insecurities about ones' Talent. Maybe have her words genuinely get through to some of the Mane Six. Like have Twilight think about how much her Talent for Magic has lead to the pressure put on her and forced her into the Princess role. Have Rarity feel like her Talent is wasted in her passion, as gemstone spells are only a tiny fraction of what she does. They don't fully fall for it, but they consider it.

It's only once the Mane Six convince the town that no, you're not happy without your Talent, and the town revolts, then Starlight goes 'no fuck you!!' and we get the fight.

Now for the finale:

I think having her be less 'fuck the Mane Six in particular' but still on her crusade against Cutie Marks. Her jumping through time is more to study them to she can figure out where they came from and get rid of them for good, and ofc she jumps to the Rainboom because it was an Event that connected the Mane Six through their Cutie Marks. Clearly there's more info there, and if she could see it in action....

The changes and alternate Timelines come from either her being there in general and/or her and Twilight fighting and keep ending up changing the race.

After Time Shenanigans and all, when Twilight asks that Starlight shows her where this all started, Starlight has more examples than just 'my friend got his Cutie Mark and he left'.

There's another friend whose talent was in dance, until an accident disabled them. Yet another whose passion died because their family forced them to do nothing but their talent, never engaging in a hobby even.

Even showing her ponies from her town. Sugar Belle who might be a great baker, but feels lost amongst the sea of other ponies who have baking and cooking talents. Party Favor, who is good at providing the best items one would need for decor, games, catering, music, etc., but can't plan a party to save his life and ended up floundering in requests to make a spectacle like some other party ponies.

Twilight would muse on the subject, admitting how back when she first came to Starlight's town, she questioned it as well. If she'd had a 'normal' Cutie Mark, or none at all, she may not be where she is. No complicated mentorship with the Princess, no near-death experiences, no pressure to deal with every disaster that pops up, no being forced into a role she didn't ever want.

But she also muses that, without all of that happening, she wouldn't be herself anymore. She wouldn't have the friends she loves or all the memory of them. (hell bring them back to the castle so Starlight can see the memory chandelier tree!)

Twilight brings up how she knows Sugar Belle and Party Favor and the others were miserable, and that for all the hardships they wanted their Marks back. That, now with a supportive community, they and their talents are thriving.

She doesn't know what happened to the others Starlight mentioned. But she does know that it's not your talent that's the source of such a bad state of mind, it's the environment. You need people around you who care and support you, all of you. They need to let a talent thrive. And while there may be situations, like the dancer who ended up disabled, it doesn't have to stop them. It will hurt, of course. They may never be the same. But they can still find ways to engage in what they love.

Starlight, though still angry and hurt, cannot stay in denial. But she is lost and confused. So when Twilight reaches out, offers to help her learn how to be better and how to get herself out of this mess, she takes the offer

apple jack is a transmasc lesbian... definitely uses almost exclusively they/he prns, but is cool with rainbow dash using she/her for him bc they know she wont do it in a misgendering way. also hes autistic! they and rainbow are dating :3

rainbow dash isnt just a butch lesbian, shes THE butch lesbian. any prns user, definetly partial to rain/bow's or rainbow/rainbow's neos (got called rainbow alot growing up so it feels more natural than any "standard" prns.) probably a bit genderfluid, doesnt really care that much honestly. why think about gender when you could think about your gf and the wonderbolts? (also they have adhd.)

rarity is absolutely a lesbian. claims men are "out of style" and "dont get fashion like girls do". she/they + lots of glam themed neos!! very femme, obviously. also shes transfem!! rarity will always be transfem in my heart tbh, idk what it is.

fluttershy is bungender and agender! uses almost strictly neos, but is far too shy to correct anyone. lovess plant and animal themed neopronouns, and is definetly a gender/pronoun hoarder!! petal's definitely also audhd :)

i feel like twilight could be transmasc, but also has far too much post-gifted child guilt and a natural goody two shoes attitude that it doesnt really feel "right" in her mind to explore her gender. i feel like she'd be open to any pronouns though, and the first time someone accidentally calls them "he" it definetly awakens something lol. also pansexual, and they have adhd and autism and ocd!!

pinkie is pansexual, i mean her cutie mark is literally the flag colors! also she definetly uses any/all pronouns, but mainly likes she/they and fun neos! also a neo/gender hoarder, loves sweet/fun themed prns :D

Augustus felt rejuvenated - like he’d just woken up from a nice nap, adjusting his bloodstained dapper suit and glaring at the now soulless corpse. “Oh -" He looked down, noticing the crimson splatters on his coat "That’s just nonsense! Look at this, it's all ruined and covered in blood! It was my new suit! How dare he stab me.”

"My, my, it's a great deal of a fall from up here. I'm not so sure about this anymore, Hattie-" He looked over the speeding train's railing, turning to Harriet with a shaky, nervous chuckle. As he did, he noticed the outline of the two goons clambering into the wagon behind them, guns ready. "Oh, well, as some say - ladies first!" Before she could say anything, Augustus pushed her over the railing - summoning a portal beneath her. Two bullets flew past the spot where she'd just been standing, instead lodging themselves in the young necromancer, who jumped into the portal just before it closed.

"Well, you could attack us, boys, and I'll merely consume all your souls - string by string, painstakingly severing the cord between your life and afterlife until you're all empty husks. You know who I am, and what I can do to mercenaries who threaten people I hold dear." His eyes glowed in the dark, the mark on his wrist causing the mercenaries to stumble back in shock, as shadows swirled around him. "Now, are you sure this is a wise decision to make in the name of your boss, a man who was too lazy to even come get his own hands dirty?"

"I can't tell you more about it, love." He shook his head with a dejected smile, clutching his own arms in a vice grip. "About my deal, about the Deathbringer and what I did. I can't. It's, no - they're just too dangerous, and I made a mistake. I fear it... it won't end well."

"For some reason, I don't think your cousin likes me very much, Harriet." Augustus spoke under his breath after Vincent stormed out, a playful but somewhat serious lilt to his words, concerned. [She replies "It's not about you, per se. Vincent doesn't really like anyone"] The necromancer chuckled. "No, this seems so very personal."

"My grandma used to bring me to this place, when I was a kid." He mused, fiddling with the blue flower between his fingers, before placing it inside the book. "For a lonely commoner kid with a strange magic that everyone was afraid of, these dusty books were paradise. A world where maybe I really could be anyone."

"May I have this dance, darling? We may as well enjoy this uppity evening on our own terms, before anyone makes it otherwise."

April 2--

Her funeral was today.

It's been a week since she got home. Another week, and she might have reached the last stage. Another few days, maybe. I'm not privileged enough to know that information, nor do I wish to be.

I wrote to Princess Celestia the second I heard about anything happening. The first day back, it looked like she had been galloping through poison oak! Watery blisters and all. The next day, the whites of her eyes had gone yellow.

Admittedly, I got paranoid. Rash and jaundice? Could be a number of things. But after so many years with Flurryheart, knowing what happened to Cadence, I don't want to risk that. So, of course I wrote Celestia.

It took until today to get any response. Six days. In that time, I watched one of my best friends forget who they were. In Celestia's package to me was a file. It was mostly redacted, but there's photos of another pony, all grainy, in a bare room. Their cutie mark has been marked over. It's just a series of photos, all taken at various stages...

I won't lie, I bullied the pony at the morgue to let me in to see her body. Best case scenario, I tell my friend goodbye. Worst case, and I maybe prevent others from suffering. It was worth a few mean words, right?

He left me alone, thankfully. I don't think she'd be too happy with the fact that I drew my observations of the body. I took a sample of her horn's overgrowth, right near the scalp. It's almost waxy. Flaky, kind of crumbling. The idea of my friend remaining as a sample on my shelf haunts me. Soon, I'll burn it.

I took a chance and tried to convince Lyra's family to cremate the body, made up some excuse about pathogens from the poison oak. That allergens in the ground will spread, used a bunch of fancy words that Celestia taught me. Anything to get them to burn her.

But they didn't.

I'm afraid that I'll dream of her. Of them. Underground, spreading roots. Festering and budding.

Virus Mlp ideas

Okay so I'm not actually that into Mlp but I have been seeing these horror virus Mlp series so uh yea! :D

Basically, my idea is that it started orally. What do I mean? Well, I haven't really cleaned the idea up yet (I don't plan to actually use these so why should I?) but the idea is that Pinkie Pie basically got a cupcake as a gift from a friend who was at a party she had recently hosted. However, unknown to the two of them, the cupcake had gotten an influx of magic or something in it. So basically uh- you know their cutie marks??

Well, they have magic in them (I think???) and I feel like magic will almost always be warm/hot unless in other circumstances. So, how do they get them? I imagine it like most people imagine Undertale monsters get them, food! So, if a certain cupcake has an unreasonable amount of mafic in it then surely it would have bad side effects for the poor victim

And so this is how I imagine the symptoms are:

-Overheating

-Heat related irritation to the Cutiemark

-The glowing of the Cutiemark

-Aggression (caused by near constant overheating of the body and especially Cutiemark)

-Obsession/compulsion to complete tasks related to cutie mark (In Pinkie's case, she has random bursts of energy ((From the heat bc particles or something)) and will jump around trying to find items or just different ways to start a party or get everyone in a good or silly mood like what comes from parties)

-Lack of sleep (Duh, overheating)

-Headaches (Heat related, always heat related)

-And, most concerningly, the melting of the inside body

But why are they melting!? And how soon does this happen?? Well, because of the immense amount of magic the magic needs to form somewhere and so it chooses the closest thing to it, heat (Wow, so shocking). However, normal ponies can't handle that much and can melt. So, despite the magic trying not to EXPLODE in the body or something it's still harming the pony who isn't equipped to handle it even throughout their entire body.

Now, that's how the 'virus' works. But how would the ponies react and how would they be transferred the virus? Well uh- idk. BUT, it does turn airborne as (I'm trying to actually figure it out for yall bc I forgot abt this part srry ;p) the magic is trying to safely enter the body but can't leave all at once because of magic deficiency as well as heat deficiency. So, it goes to other ponies, and some ponies also get it orally which spreads it faster or something.

And so, Rarity soon gets afflicted with it. Unlike the now overactive Pinkie Pie, Rarity has gotten slower. It's like her own bones are melting first, so much sowing and dress making has made her 'arm' wrists worn and easy for melting. And so, she huddles in her home making dress after dress for all the people she can think of, friends, family, enemies, strangers she'd seen around town. Everyone, some even getting multiple. She knows she is ill and while Sweety Bell wants to help her sister, Rarity hides her issues as to not worry the only young sibling she wishes to have. She wishes to use her generosity to the fullest in what she believes will be her final months. She could be correct, if the magic continues to uncomfortably heat her body up like a pot being boiled. Sadly, no one has noticed the most blatant sign due to the fact that she wears dresses, suits, anything to hide her glowing Cutiemark. While she loves her mark and it's color, she cannot stand the glow as it reminds her of the sweltering heat of her home. Maybe she should open more windows, that will help right?

The next person who gets afflicted (Not come into contact) is Rainbowdash. I don't have a way she get's afflicted so I'll just make it up and you can flesh it out yourself. Rainbowdash had been so worried for Pinkie, yes she'd always been energetic but this was almost concerningly so. Her pink hair had gotten fluffier, and while Rainbowdash doesn't mind it's a sign that Pinkie's going too fast and is messing with her hair. So, she talks and hangs around Pinkie, nervously trying to see what's wrong and how to help. She is loyal after all. However, it comes to her falling as the magic has clung to her and made her faster than ever. She has Pinkie's issue, being too energetic. She doesn't understand why, but she can't help but want to fly and speed around all day with no breaks. And so she does, she speeds across town and forest and city and ocean, and then back home. It would have made a Sonic Rainboom, but only if she stopped. Passerby's see her and mention only one identifiable thing, her almost aflame rainbow hair. It's frizzed and spiked leading behind her due to her flight. She doesn't seem to notice. Maybe she can fly this energy and heat off...

AppleJack is next, and I didn't make any for her either. However, her affliction is probably pretty clear. She probably becomes more worried for her farm, obsessively thinking about it and her apples. Oh, her apples. She starts worrying about missing one, so she goes to the farm every morning and afternoon and she kicks her trees as hard as she can. Her hooves hurt, and the trees are dented and scary looking and look almost rotting, but she knows she must do this. She must be able to let her family farm thrive. So, if she has to ugly things up a bit, she doesn't mind. Granny does though, as well as her brother and sister. They don't know how to stop her worries.

Fluttershy would probably never leave her home, tending to her animals and trying to cool them off. It's so hot here, they must be so warm too. Yet, they freeze and chitter as if in winter. How odd. Surely, if she makes them colder like she wants someone to do to her, they will feel better. She'd feel better colder. The animals must be too hot. It's way too hot. Maybe she should add snow?

Spike probably can handle the heat tbh lmao

Twilight Sparkle is the second person to come into contact with the 'Virus', after Pinkie of course. She instantly notices her being ill and constantly tries to help yet she's so bouncy she gets out of her grasp. She ends up going to Celestia, who is bothered by this. How could Pinkie be so sick? Yet, it gets worse. More and more cases pop up, everyone is overheating in autumn and Twilight is concerned. I imagine she's in her princess wing and horn combo, so she can handle the heat and not get sick. Does she know that? No, but she's always been a little cold after being gifted wings.

Celestia and Luna both have never personally come across this disease, their bodies are built to withstand heaps of magic as it takes a lot to handle the actual sun and moon. So when everyone is hot because of magic, they both don't understand. They've been so cold for so long, it's hard to imagine such heat. Will they ever understand the issues of their kingdom? Maybe.

Chrysalis is.. Okay, so my first idea was that her army was like her kids??? I was thinking of bugs honestly lol. But the idea was that her army would get sick with the 'virus' (She had captured a sick pony and they got the sickness airborne) and because of their lack of cutie marks they would end up weaker. Also, because of their holes I imagine that they aren't all that strong/immune to illnesses so when they're struck by this they're all in despair. Why? Because they're MELTING. They are seeing each other melt and die to the heat and they don't understand it. Why wont their mother save them? Will Love help? How much love can fix this, and can they obtain it? The queen is doing no better, seeing all her people go so ill they cannot move. She herself, while much stronger, is not able to combat the magic and has faced her own weakness in her limbs. She blames the ponies of Equestria for this, for if that one pony had not been here no one would be dying. Of course, this is absolutely a genocide plan created by Celestia and Twilight, if she can get her hooves on them she'd make sure that everyone knew how much a lie immortality is.

However, she is unaware of how mistaken she is

And now for something a little different...

Further thoughts on these redesigns and my process below the cut.

Earth Ponies:

I wanted t make the earth ponies distinctly bigger than the pegasi and unicorns to give them something more to their lore. I never quite liked the idea that unicorns and pegasi got these special things (magic and flight) and that earth ponies were just somewhat normal or "default." I guess in fantasy terms, they're like orcs or half giant- other large fantasy races. I also decided they'd appear more like real world ponies, patterns and hooves and all. Of course, earth ponies can still be fun colors like Pinkie Pie here.

AJ in particular I wanted to make a bit ruddier. She's what Id call the most generic "horse looking" pony in the group, and that's very much intentional. I gave her a more athletic build to help with her farm work, and took off her hair band in favor of a short bob, and put a tie at the base of her tail to resemble an apple stem.

Pinkie, alternatively, got a chunky rounder design (You can't bake cake for all of your friends every day without giving the batter a taste test or ten haha) and threw various little ornaments and confetti into her hair that shoots out whenever she gets excited. I also brought the balloons in her cutie mark together to show that her parties are a way ths he brings PONIES together.

Pegasi:

In contrast to the earth ponies, I figured that pegasi would be a bit on the smaller side and their hooves are covered in a down fur like the rest of their bodies rather than being exposed, this helps them walk on clouds like the Canadian Lynx's furry paws do.

Fluttershy's eyes might look familiar to my Hawk and Dove followers. I just thought the "umbrella" eyelashes would fit her well and make her eyes look bigger without giving her the puppy dog look from the show. I also gave her bushy brows and I think her mane drags on the forest floor. Her bird friends probably take care to pull out the twigs and leaves that get wrapped in it for their own nests while she brushes other smaller animals in turn- a nice, quiet way to spend time with her animal friends at the end of the day. I also decided to simplify her cutie mark to better fit on her smaller body.

Rainbow Dash's mane, on the other hand, is cut shorter and I gave her some racing tape on her legs. Unlike Fluttershy, Rainbow preens her wings often to keep them in racing condition. It's like stretching before a jog, helping to take care of herself in the long run. Or, fly in this case.

Unicorns:

I am not immune to The Last Unicorn propaganda and neither are you. The medium size of the pony races, unicorns do have longer legs in comparison to their bodies than other ponies that end in cloven hooves from starting out in mountainous areas (as opposed to plain-dwelling earth ponies and sky-dwelling pegasi.) They also have prehensile tails and two common coat lengths (Long and short.)

Rarity is a long-haired unicorn, something a lot of unicorns wouldn't expect of a fashion pony. Many other designers with similar coats trim their hooves and coat down, but Rarity rocks her fluffy legs and chest and a lot of her designs sport flared skirts and pants to better show off and compliment her conditioned coat. This is also why I went against styling her mane, as I think she would be more inclined to let it flow as it chooses... after she goes through a rigorous treatment routine each morning and night, of course.

Twilight is a short-haired unicorn with a straighter mane and tail. I opted for a blunt end to her tail and I think she'd use it to dust her shelves and turn pages if she's using her magic for other things. I was initally worried the dark patterning on her mouth would look like a five o'clock shadow, but I still like how it brings her face together nad helps to draw attention to her glowing, pink eyes.

Lisa smiled and walked out of the library leaving you two alone, Jean hesitated to look at you when you suddenly hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry, Jean! I didn't mean to give you the wrong impression!"

"Y/n....It's okay. I don't hate you for this...."

You leaned back then pressed your lips against Jean's and captured her mouth in a heated kiss, your tongue darted in her mouth and rolled with hers as low pants escaped her lips and echoed in the library.

"J-Jean, about earlier....what did you mean that you don't blame me for this?"

"I....I thought you don't like me anymore after I saw you that way with Lisa....I thought that I don't give you enough time hence why you chose to be with her so...I-I felt it was my fault hence why I didn't blame you..."

Your eyes widened and you once again tightly embraced her, "No! Don't think that way! I love you a lot, Jean! I never thought you don't give me enough time; I understand your work and position and I'm fine with it. I'm sorry I shouldn't have made that plan with Lisa, I thought you'd get possessive and maybe take me away...."

Jean's eyes widened as well and she hugged you back, "To be honest, that's exactly what I wanted to do at that moment but...." She trailed off and hid her face in the crook of your neck, you smiled then gently patted the back of her head, "I'm sorry, I'll never do that again. Let's go home, shall we?"

GOOD QUESTION... hmmmm. Yeah something zoom related would work... she also LOVES tug so I could see a tug toy 🤔 but I think that is probably less innate and enduring than her love of Go Very Fast so maybe yeah like a sparkly lightning bolt or somethin

The post you thought was about my little pony. Yeah I probably would have too if I wasn't specifically looking in the tags for what it actually was. Luna and Mafuyu aren't really that similar (imo Mafuyu is closer to Twilight(still not really)) but you've got me thinking about Celestia and Shizuku and I didn't watch the later seasons of MLP so I could be wrong but like. Shizuku felt like she had to be perfect and couldn't make a single mistake. She felt like allowing herself to be imperfect was letting everyone who looked up to her down. She just wanted to do the best thing but she felt cornered and like she didn't have anyone to talk to about it.

oooh yeah! celestia 100% had a ton of responsibility on her shoulders and it canonically stressed her out. and she felt disconnected from everyone else because of it. iirc there were a couple episodes that touched on this. one was the episode where starlight switched celestia and luna's cutie marks and they had to take on each others roles for the day, and luna found out just how strict the expectations and responsibilities on her sister were. (celestia also found out that luna's life wasnt easy and fun either. but we're talking about celestia here.) the other was the one where luna and celestia tried to take a vacation and celestia was over the MOON that she got to act "normal" for a few days. though she was bad at it, lol. and celestia in general doesnt really have anyone to turn to, except maybe luna, but luna is her little sister and has already been thru a lot. in s3e1 (which i just watched, hehe) i noticed that celestia told twilight she'd always be there for her, and also added "and i hope you will be there for me when i need you." this was right after twi became a princess. it was said very casually but seemed a little out of place compared to the slighty aloof, all powerful princess we saw before... i think she was very grateful to have someone else close to her level who she felt she could be vulnerable with and turn to for help... bt the thing is, she doesnt lean on twilight emotionally or open up to her much throughout the rest of the show. so i kinda get the vibe that she WANTS to lean on people but when it actually comes time to ask for help, maybe she's not able to.

god, i didnt expect to analyze celestia so much-- she's never been a favorite of mine, but the great thing about mlp is that theres something worth looking into for pretty much all the characters. its a very character driven show. idk where im going with this now so im going to end it there 👍
