Headcanons I’ve become obsessed with:

•Slytherin Dorcas Meadowes (I know some ppl like her in Gryffindor but Slytherin Half-Blood DM just makes me feel things man)

•ADHD/bipolar James Potter (hear me out, I’m bipolar and I just see a lot of the characteristics and signs subconsciously in focus when ppl are writing James)

•Pandora and Evan being twins (yeah pandora as a Lestrange can be vibes but there is just something about Reggie having the rosier twins at his side)

•Narcissa and Regulus positive relationship (she loved and mourned him your honor)

•different ethnicities/nationalities for all the characters (desi James and French Blacks and Welsh Remus and ughhh they all just hit different when they aren’t standard copy and paste media)

•unhinged and insane rosekiller (no explanation needed)

•genderfluid Sirius (not everyone’s cup of tea but let’s be honest, it heals the hurt teen in me that wanted to hear ‘they’ but only ever got ‘her’)

•Peter and Marlene besties (it’s hurts to think about the canon of it, but god do I love them)

•fat Lily Evans (mother. My queen. Whenever I feel shitty about my thighs rubbing together I look up fanon lily art and tell myself she’d think I was a masterpiece too)

•tattoos (every single marauders era character having so many tattoos centered around their friendships and relationships and things that make them happy)

•Sirius supporting Jegulus (bc healthy sibling relationships are okay to strive for)

•the black sisters being in ANYTHING AT ALL (Bella and Andy and Cissy are my Roman Empire)

•raising their kids in a village together (Harry and Neville and Draco and Luna just being loved and cherished by all the adults)

•‘side characters’ in the era making appearances?? (Alice and Frank and Emmeline and Gideon and Fabian are my loves too)

the harry potter fandom is literally the only fandom where i can obsess over multiple characters in different ships and be totally okay with it: a few months ago i was crying over jegulus fics, a month ago i couldn’t stop reading a dramione fic and last week i read 5 different drarry fics in a few days. now i’m currently reading a jily fic and i’m considering starting a rosekiller fic next. and the best thing about it? i love all of these ships equally, these characters are just so versatile they have chemistry with everyone

Peter/Sirius *jazz hands*

1) Plant. Dads. There is no other way around this ok? They're plant dads. Peter got Siri into it and now they're both obsessed and are at the top of the class in Herbology along with Alice.

2) They would such a beautiful dynamic omg like Sirius "I say whatever that comes to my mind/ I blatantly flirt" Black and Peter "I have a hard time coming to terms with my feelings/ I can't flirt at all but if someone flirts to me I'm dying on the spot" Pettigrew mhmm mhmm

3) The heartbreakkkk Peter pining over Sirius. And Sirius "I'm in my denial phase I'm not gay" Black going around hooking up with every woman in sight

4) ooooh wait no let's switch things up. Peter is very upfront about his feelings. It takes him time but he gets there eventually. He'll go to Sirius straight up and say "I fancy you. Do with that what you will" and Sirius is just standing there dumbfounded.

5) Sirius would make the first move tho, he would kiss Peter and then he'll move away unsure and Peter will just be like JSKSKDLSMDKDNDKNF externally and internally

6) they'll have picnic dates after they raid the kitchen and its all cute and cottagecore and fluffy

7) the betrayal oooh just imagine how heartbreaking it'll be omg like watch as Sirius spends his time in Azkaban being in denial and then slowly becoming a being of pure rage

8) he leaves Azkaban half cause he wants to hunt down Peter and make him pay but also cause a part of still believes in Pete and wants to hear it from him that he was under a spell or that it a mistake. Something. Anything.

9) ok also thinking about this now I feel like if Startail had happened then the betrayal would have happened? Cause like Peter's flaw was that he kept feeling left alone even tho he actually wasn't as much as his brain led him to believe. He felt left alone with James being Sirius's other half and Remus being Sirius's love of his life right? So now it's like- I don't see a point in the betrayal

10) oooooh wait Dark Pete mhmm mhmm. He is jealous of James because as long as James was there Sirius could never be fully his so he does what he has to for love. In his eyes, he did the right thing.

11) But he miscalculated and ended up losing everything. (And that's why he helps Harry in TDH2)

12) soft top Peter and trying to be bratty but incredibly failing cause of all the softness and care bottom Sirius

1) YES!!!! they have so many plants. sirius doesn't get the hype at first (he thinks it's dumb that peter named all of his plants), but then one day the love for the plants hits him like a punch to the face. he hasn't been the same since

3) yeah, poor petey :( james tries to support him through it but he doesn't help all that much. marlene tells peter to get over it bc sirius isn't worth the heartbreak (she has one-sided beef with sirius bc of it) (Sirius doesn't know why she suddenly hates him)

9) maybe sirius and peter go through a rough patch and voldemort or someone else (cough cough jealous ex-lovers rosekiller cough cough) is in peter's ear telling him that sirius is going to leave him if he doesn't do something about it

i was honestly so impressed that we came up with a new harry potter ship when we came up with them (at least there was nothing on ao3). and then we were both obsessed with them and i wrote a whole 8k one shot about them in like three days so.

i was just coming up with random poly ships that popped into my head and then you came up with a brilliant ship name and thus silverrosedagger was born. idk why they work so well together they just do.

if you're up for reading and you want to learn a bit more about them, read secrets behind the cherry blossoms! i mean we all love rosekiller, but what if you add in xenophilius??? right? like you got the whimsical and dreamy one, the cynical and psycho one, and the kind and teasing one. they just balance. especially with all the pINING.

i remember thinking it would be unexpected to start with barty x xeno and then i ended up absolutely loving them. again, i never would have expected them to work so well together but they do! honestly, xeno is such a shippable character lol. but silverrosedagger are one of my favorite ships by far, hence their spot in my bio <3
