AOTD: I have a key from my childhood home! . . Hello friends and happy Friday! I am so excited to bring you all my cosplay and review of this amazing book!! I definitely really enjoyed this book and gave it 4 stars! It was a quick read with great pacing and characters you cannot help but get attached to! It was a bit predictable in parts but I don’t mind that! My favorite part was definitely the characters! Aoife definitely started out a bit naïve and whiny and totally sheltered but throughout the book she definitely starts to believe in herself and overcomes a lot of obstacles! And Declan…ohhh my….he was definitely my favorite hands down!! I loved that the book was told in dual POVs and felt like the transition between them was seamless! If you are a fan of pirates, romantic tension, and just a fun quick read you will definitely love this book! On These Black Sands is out now so be sure to get your copy! Hello everyone!! Today I have a mini review. It's for the book On These Black Sands by Vanessa Rasanen which is the first book in the Aisling Sea series. It is a new adult fantasy adventure that was released on August 2021 by Crab Apple Books. Books that take place on a ship and especially a pirate ship have become some of my favourites. This one was no exception. I really liked the story and the world building and I loved the characters. Aoife and Declan's slow burn romance was one of my favourites and I also loved Tommy. Declan in particular I really enjoyed because he is the hero that doesn't want to be a hero. I liked the twists and turns in the story and the ending left me wanting book 2 asap.
